“I don’t want that,” I replied with a chuckle. “I don’t want to share you, Master. With your help, I’ll give them a fresh chance, a new start. Hope for the future, just like you’ve given me, and in exchange, I’ll give you countless dark souls to consume.”
“I like it, Tara.” His smile widened to a nefarious grin. “I like it very much, and my masters will like it, too. Where do we start?”
“With your permission, I’d like to start close to home.”
“Meaning?”
I shifted beneath him, wrapping my legs up around his middle.
“Close to the place you found me, Master. I am sure there are others like me there, girls who are being exploited, maybe children, too. I want to help them.”
He pressed his forehead to my temple gently.
“As you wish. Tomorrow, I will show you how to look into the lives of other mortals, and you can make your choices.”
“Tomorrow, Master?”
I sensed his erection swelling at my thigh, and my hips rose.
“Yes, tomorrow,” he answered, the salacious glimmer returning to his eyes. “For today, I have other uses for my little mortal, other ways to challenge and reward her. Unless she chooses to defy me?”
My pulse quickened at the carnal promise in his tone.
“Oh no, Master,” I breathed, licking my lips at the electrifying thought of what he had in mind. “I would never dare.”
