The Men of Treasure Cove 13
Her Dirty Doms
When the Sanchez Brothers arrived in Treasure Cove, all they wanted was a place to stay and to see their mother and sister. However, the welcome they got was an eye full. Gearing up for another war wasn't what they planned, especially when the enemy was their baby sister.
River Trinity was happy and content with her life. Could she use more sex in her life? Yep! But finding the right man to fulfill her deepest need wasn't as easy as it should have been considering that she lived in Treasure Cove. However, everything changed for her overnight when three men walked into a bar.
As the Sanchez Brothers try to adjust to the rigors of civilian life, the town is faced with disaster unlike anything it’s ever seen, changing the face of Treasure Cove for all time. The Sanchez brothers must act fast before they lose everything, not only their sister but the woman they love.

Chapter One
“If you bastards know what’s good for you, the words, ‘will you marry me, Vanessa,’ better be the next words out of your mouth. Or your lives end tonight,” Julio stated firmly, looking at the scene before him. After a long flight and five hours in a car, all he wanted to do was see his mother and sister and forget about everything. He didn’t expect to find his baby sister in bed with three men. Nope, that never even popped up on his radar. Hell, that thought wasn’t even in his realm of comprehension. Oh, he knew his sister was an adult. She was capable of making her own life choices, but walking in and seeing what he just saw—there was not enough bleach in the universe to scrub that from his memory. God, he was going to be in therapy for months.
As the oldest child of Julio and Maria Sanchez, it was Julio’s responsibility to look after and care for his younger siblings. It was his job to make sure they didn’t get into too much trouble and be their defender if they did. It was no easy task having two adrenaline junkies for brothers and a sister who wanted everything her way. It was also his job to make sure that no one, absolutely no one, defamed, defiled, or deflowered his baby sister, and after thirty-five years, he failed to accomplish that mission.
That fact didn’t sit well with him, giving him a nasty taste in his mouth.
Screeching loudly, his sister shuffled off the blond playboy, reaching for something to cover herself. Thank God for that, because he was going to need massive amounts of therapy after seeing what he just witnessed. Whoever the men were, they just stayed where they were, staring at him as if he were the one intruding. The way Julio saw it, these three imbeciles were dead men walking, so he really didn’t give a damn what they were thinking or feeling. All he wanted to hear was a marriage proposal and a set date so he could get some rest. Because he really didn’t feel like killing anyone on his first night as a civilian…that and he didn’t want to face his momma and tell her why he was in jail. Nope, the sooner he heard one of them propose, the quicker he could get happy again and enjoy what life had in store for him.

sp; “What are you doing here?” Vanessa shouted at him. “Get out! Get out! Get out!”
“I told you she was happy, and now we know why,” Victor said, looking at the ceiling. Turning to his baby brother, Julio rolled his eyes. If it weren’t for the fact that Vanessa could make him a eunuch, Julio would sterilize Vic. Vanessa’s twin and the annoying baby of the family, Victor Sanchez was a pain in the ass. Like Vanessa, Vic wanted things his way, all the time, and voiced his disappointment loudly when he didn’t get it. He was also a firm believer in speaking his mind, to the point of his own detriment and those who were around him. Julio couldn’t think of a memory with Vic where he wasn’t trying to haul his baby brother out of the line of fire, or from getting an ass kicking he so rightly deserved.
“I say we kick their asses,” Miguel said, punching his palm with his fist. Julio groaned, ignoring his middle brother. Miguel Sanchez was a typical middle child, with a penchant for starting fights and winning them. For what he lacked in book smarts, Miguel surely made up for it with brute strength. There was a time Julio thought for sure that Miguel wouldn’t live to see his eighteenth birthday, but then nothing that Miguel did really shocked him. Hell, he wouldn’t be surprised when the time came that Miguel walked right up to the Angel of Death, punched the fucker in the nose, and told him to go to hell. That was just Miguel. However, having Miguel go all Rambo on everyone wasn’t the brightest idea at the moment, not when Julio wanted to give the three little fellas a chance to do the right thing.
“Agreed, I’ll take the little one on the left, you can have the other two,” Vic said,
“Why do I always have to do all the work?” Miguel replied, with a crushed look upon his face.
“Because I don’t want this beautiful face damaged. Besides, your nose has already been broken too many times to count. One more isn’t going to change anything,” Victor stated blandly.
“I can easily rearrange your face, brother,” Miguel said, getting up in Vic’s face.
“Bring it on, Rocky, and I’ll make sure Mom knows who hurt her baby boy,” Vic replied, standing his ground. Growling, Julio stepped between the two bickering idiots and shoved them away from each other. “Knock it off before I kick both your asses.”
Shuffling on the bed caught Julio’s attention as “pretty boy” helped cover his sister, also covering himself. The one on the floor rose up on his elbows, undeterred by his nudity, with a smug look upon his face. But it was the hulking giant on the right side that stood his ground. He said, “Carter, Peter, I do believe we have the honor of meeting, in no particular order, Julio, Miguel, and Victor Sanchez, Vanessa’s brothers.”
“She told you about us?” Miguel asked, taking a step forward.
“Yes,” the Hulk replied, reaching for his jeans, taking his time putting them on. “But she never mentioned that you were rude and had no concept of boundaries or manners.”
“Big man with a bigger mouth,” Julio replied angrily. “How about I rearrange it for you?”
“Enough!” Vanessa shouted. “Julio, stop it. I mean it. Stop right now. Take Miguel and Victor and get out.”
“You disappoint me, sister. What would father say?” Julio said harshly, and Vanessa flinched as if he had slapped her. Julio wanted to kick himself as sadness overtook her joy from only minutes ago. He didn’t like hurting his sister, if anything, he tried everything in his power to make her happy, but he refused to condone her actions tonight. She was his baby sister, his to protect, and he would be damned to live an eternity in hell if he allowed nothing to come of her promiscuity. Regardless of her hurt feelings, his sister needed to know that she was getting married to one of these men, and he didn’t give a damn which one it was.

Brice stood his ground, waiting for one small movement, but none came. Julio turned, shaking his head as he ushered Victor and Miguel out of their sister’s room, not saying another word. He really didn’t know what to think of the three overzealous men, but he knew he needed to be careful about what he said and did next. Their relationship with Vanessa was precarious at best, and one wrong move could end what had just begun forever.
Retrieving her leg from the bathroom, Brice kneeled before her and helped her put on her prosthesis. Though Vanessa blushed, she didn’t push him away, and he was happy for her acceptance. He knew the loss of her leg harbored some ill feeling for her, but to what extent he still had no clue. Of course, none of that mattered, because he loved her, all of her, missing leg and all. There was nothing she could say to him to make him change his mind. As far as Brice was concerned, she belonged to him and his friends forever.
“Brice, help Van get dressed,” Peter said as he put on his jeans. “Carter, let’s go introduce ourselves to Vanessa’s brothers and let them know that she belongs to us.”
“Peter,” Vanessa whispered.
“No, Van. They walked into your bedroom without an invitation. That was strike one. They interrupted our time with you. That was strike two. But when they made the woman I love feel like shit for only doing what her heart desired, well, that was strike three. No, those men out there are going to understand what it means when men claim a woman in Treasure Cove, and they are going to apologize or face the consequences. Now, let Brice help you get dressed, and while you’re at it, pack some clothes, because I am not leaving you here with them. You are coming home with us tonight.”
Brice agreed with Peter, and just nodded, helping Van to stand. Wrapping his arms around her, he sighed when she laid her head against his chest, her arms wrapping around his waist. “It’s going to be all right, sweetheart. Peter and Carter won’t start anything, but Peter’s right. Your brothers need to know that you are no longer their responsibility, and we will not tolerate anyone talking to you the way Julio did, ever.”
“I understand that, Brice, but I don’t want there to be any trouble between my family and yours. That is no way to start a relationship.”
Kissing the top of her head, Brice whispered, “There won’t be any trouble, just as long as your brothers do exactly as they are told.”
Vanessa smirked. “That’s never going to happen.”

Milling around their sister’s shop, Julio wanted to hurt someone bad. He felt like total dog shit for upsetting his sister when all he wanted to do was hug her. Regardless of the situation, she was still his little sister and he loved her dearly. But he made a promise to their father, and God help him, he was going to keep it. Even if that meant Vanessa would hate him for the rest of his life.
“She’ll forgive you, Julio. She always does,” Victor said, leaning against the counter.
“I know, but it still doesn’t make it right,” Julio replied. He wanted to kick himself for barging in on her like that. He knew that was wrong, and he would tell her he was sorry. However, that did not excuse the state she was in. What was she thinking? And who were those men? Men, plural, more than one!
“Look, I get it. It was a shock seeing her in that…” Miguel said, trying to come up with the right words.
“Compromising position?” Victor suggested, repulsed. He had heard rumors of the nocturnal delights in Treasure Cove, and when his sister moved here, she promised to stay true to her upbringing. Julio relented and didn’t fight her. He knew she needed space and a fresh start where she could recuperate. He was leery but agreed. Hell, he even helped her move here. Of course, he felt better when their mother moved to the area a short time later, and figured with momma around, Vanessa would be okay, and she was. Every time he called, he was happy to know that his sister was working hard in her little shop and single like a one-dollar bill. That, and when he would call momma, she would verify everything, so he never worried. Now, he wondered what the women in his life were not telling him, and what exactly was going on in this town.
“Yeah, a compromising position. Van has always been our little sister. I’ve never thought of her as anything else, but it looks like our little sister has grown up. We all kne
w it was going to happen sooner or later,” Miguel said, trying to sooth the tension in the room.
“I know,” Julio sighed. “I just didn’t think I’d be present when it happened.
Movement on the stairs halted their conversation. Hoping to see their sister, Julio was disappointed when two of her lovers descended. Instead of apologizing to Vanessa, her brothers were going to have to deal with them. Julio was already furious as hell for the way he acted, but seeing the two strangers instead of Vanessa was making him angrier. They should have had more respect for his sister than what they showed. There should have been a ring on her finger, not three satisfied men. That was when Julio noticed one was missing. “Where’s the big one?”
“The big one is Brice Venter. He and Vanessa are headed back to our place, where she will be staying while you are visiting,” the tall, brunette one said. “By the way, I’m Peter Castillo, one of Vanessa’s men.”
“And I’m Carter James, another one of Vanessa’s men,” the blond pretty boy said, standing straight and tall next to his friend.
“Oh God, she drank the water.” Victor sighed, hanging his head.
“I knew we should have insisted she and Mom move to Mayport, where we could keep an eye on them,” Miguel stated firmly.
“Vanessa isn’t going anywhere. She’s ours,” Peter harshly said, stepping forward. “Here’s the way it’s going to go, boys. My partners and I have claimed Vanessa, and she has accepted. You will be happy for your sister, and you will respect her decision. If you give her any grief or try to talk her out of seeing us, my friends and I will hunt you down and you’ll wish you were never born. Am I clear?”
