Gen Pop Page 12

by Vale, Lani Lynn

Why did my breath hiss in?

Because the light behind his head snapped on in a sudden flare of light, and at first, I wasn’t sure if the light was a figment of my imagination because he’d dipped further, his finger brushing my clit, or if it was an actual light behind his head that was now making me see stars.

Whatever the hell it was, I closed my eyes, which only made the way he was making me feel worse.

Because being deprived of a sense made the others feel ten times more intense.

And Jesus, but one wouldn’t think that a brush of a clit would be that big of a deal, but it was.

Especially since the one doing the touching of said clit was a man that I’d wanted since the very first day I saw him.

“The light,” I found myself murmuring. “Is it real, or am I imagining it?”

I squirmed underneath him as I asked it, causing him to curse.

“Real,” he growled, his voice filled with the sound of gravel. “They must’ve triggered it when they went out to get more beer.”

“Beer? Who?” I asked, unable to stop myself from enjoying the way he was making me feel.

And seriously, all he was doing was lightly brushing my clit with his finger, not doing much more than brushing it with just the very tip of his digit.

  It shouldn’t feel so good.

  Should it?

His finger dipped lower, and then his mouth came down on mine.

At the same time that his tongue breached my lips, his finger breached my entrance, dipping just far enough inside to gather some wetness, then bring it back up to swirl around my clit.

That time, I really did see stars.

“Oh, God,” I cried out against his lips. “Oh, Zach. You make me feel…”

“Good?” he asked, his finger stopping to spin the opposite way.

  “The best,” I confirmed.

He chuckled darkly against my lips, then pulled back.

  “One chance.”

  CHAPTER 14

Fuck Netflix. Some of you need to be binge watching your goddamn kids.

-Crockett upon observing a few of her customers

  CROCKETT

I was confused. He’d not only stopped touching me completely, his limbs on either side of mine were situated in such a way that he did not touch me anywhere. But he was also speaking, making me use my brain, when all I wanted to do was feel.

“One chance, Fancy,” I agreed. “Now, get your pants off and put that cock I could feel pressing against me to use. Before I change my mind about doing it outside where anyone could walk out and see. Or hear.”

He grinned wickedly, his face turned slightly so that the spotlight at his back caught the pull of his cheek.

“I was saying that you had one chance to send me away,” he replied as he slowly went up onto his knees in the lounger. “But I guess I have your answer.”

  He did have my answer.

  He most assuredly did.

“I don’t have a condom,” I told him bluntly. “I don’t usually carry those around.”

“It’s okay. I do,” he promised. “Vagina doctor, here. I have those with me no matter what. Even if it’s to hand them out to random people and make sure that they have sex safely.”

  That would amuse me.

  Later.

For now, I was just glad he had something to sheathe his cock in so he could stick it inside of me.

He used the next couple of seconds to divest me of my underwear, pull his cock out of his pants, and then reach into his pocket for his wallet.

When he came back up, I knew that he had the wallet in his hand, and he was fumbling through it for the condom based on his mutterings.

It was dark in the yard, and there wasn’t a single thing that I could see beyond the floodlight at my front, practically pointing directly at us.

The light was so bright that even with my eyes squeezed tightly shut, I could still see the illumination.

Sadly, it meant that I could only see the shadow of his body.

  Could only feel.

  And boy, did I feel.

Zach was perfect everywhere. At least, he felt like he was.

When my hands ran up and down the length of his body, pausing briefly to circle his nipples, he growled and I heard the rip of foil.

Seconds later, I could feel his arms jerking as he slid the condom down over the length of his cock.

Then I heard the telltale snap of rubber and knew that his cock had just taken a beating.

“Is the condom okay?” I asked, breathless and worried that the night was about to end before it’d even started.

  He cleared his throat.

“Nope.” He paused. “And I don’t have any more.”

  I whined.

  Literally, I whined.

There was no other name for what I did.

That had to be why I said what I said next.

  “I’m clean.”

There was such a long pause as silence descended around us that I started to notice just how loud the crickets and cicadas were.

But still. None of that mattered.

Not where we were. Not who could hear me. Not what was around me. Not even the lack of condom.

I never thought that I’d be having sex with Zach. Let alone having sex with Zach on someone else’s lawn furniture, at someone else’s house, while hooked up to an IV.

But there I was, doing it.

  “Zach,” I pleaded. “Please.”

He growled, his mouth running down the length of my throat, making my nipples pebble and my heart start knocking an erratic tattoo against my inner chest.

“You on birth control?” he asked, his cock hovering at my entrance, ready to push inside at the first indication that I was protected.

  “Yes,” I breathed.

And then he was thrusting inside of me so hard that I saw stars.

I’d not seen his cock yet. Not in its entirety. Not with the light making that impossible.

But I could tell just by the burning stretch of my pussy around his cock that he was bigger than I’d ever had before.

I had very limited experience. One sexual encounter total. And he hadn’t made me feel the way Zach was making me feel.

I’d never been made to feel even half as much during the final act that Zach could make me feel with just a damn kiss.

Things after that got a little hazy.

I could focus on nothing but the way he was making me feel. The way his cock thrust inside of me, so hard and deep, that I felt like I could feel him in my soul.

Then there were his hands, roaming up and down the length of my body, plucking at my nipples. Tugging my hair. Ultimately making my body explode in added sensations.

So it really shouldn’t have come as a surprise when I exploded in a mind-tingling orgasm.

One second I was all together, and the next I was exploding.

I felt like my entire being disintegrated, then reintegrated in such a way that Zach was permanently there, forever with me.

I’m not sure when he came.

Maybe it was right after I did.

Maybe it was a few long minutes later.

Maybe it was when the others came out on the porch and started laughing at something only they knew.

  Hell, I didn’t know.

  And I didn’t care.

When I finally came to, he was still above me, his chest heaving, as his cock pulsed every so often inside of me.

“I think you might’ve broken me,” I whispered to him. “I’m fairly sure that they heard me scream, too.”

  “We did!” someone called.

  A woman.

I wasn’t sure if it was Six, Wyett, or one of the others that I hadn’t ‘officially’ met yet.

  Regardless, I was slightly embarrassed.

And I say slightly, because truly there was nothing that I could be embarrassed about when it came to what just happened with Zach.

It was not only a long time coming, but it also me
ant a hell of a lot more to me than some mid-level embarrassment at being caught fucking a man outside on someone else’s lawn furniture.

He chuckled at my observation, ignoring the others, as he stood up and brought me right along with him.

At first, I was impressed by his show of strength.

Then I was cursing up a storm when the IV was nearly ripped straight out of my arm.

“IV!” I cried out in surprise, my body leaning over heavily to one side so that it wasn’t ripped out even more.

“Shit,” he cursed, righting himself and grabbing the bag before apologizing. “I’m sorry.”

I grinned at him, only then realizing that I could now see him very, very well.

“They turned on more lights,” I found myself saying.

“Pool lights,” he said. “They’re swimming. We need to get you inside.”

He hurried toward the door, his cock jerking inside of me with each step that he took.

I licked my lips as a furl of desire started to unravel inside of me all over again at his movement.

That flame licked out the moment I heard the next comment out of a person’s mouth.

“You forgot your underwear,” Laric called out.

  I felt my face flush.

“Come back out dressed to swim!” Six called. “If you can do the dirty, you can swim with us. We want to play some volleyball.”

  She did have a point.

Two hours later, I was swimmed out and wanting a certain someone all over again.

But that might’ve had a lot to do with the yellow shorts that Zach was wearing.

Shorts that, apparently, he’d been keeping in his bag because he liked to get in workouts at the local YMCA.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something.

  Those shorts were indecent.

They were the shortest pair of shorts that I’d ever seen on a straight man.

They were Ralph Lauren, hung low on his hips, and hit him about six inches below his crotch.

I didn’t think that I’d ever be able to look at him again and not want him wearing these particular shorts.

The man looked fucking great in a beat-up pair of boots, worn-out blue jeans, and a simple t-shirt.

But the man in those shorts that showed off his muscular thighs, his trim hips, his bulky shoulders, his sexy six-pack abs—that might I add weren’t all that perfect in comparison to the rest of him—would always be top tier in my book.

It hid the really good stuff, accentuated his muscles, and looked really great against his tanned skin.

“Are you even listening to me?” Swayze, also known as Trick’s wife, asked.

Amusement lilted her voice, making me reluctantly drag my gaze away from him.

“I was admiring Zach in those shorts,” I admitted. “And wondering where I could go buy him more just in case he has any other ones in his arsenal that aren’t quite so lovely.”

“Amen to that,” Six agreed. “The other guys look great and all, but those swim trunks are amazing. I think I’ll go look at Dillard’s tomorrow just to get some.”

“I’ll join you then,” Swayze admitted, “because I agree. They’re very, very nice.”

“And the man can move in them and didn’t spend a lot of time jacking with his shorts when he was playing earlier,” Wyett added her two cents.

“Speaking of playing,” Six said as she watched the men finish off their beers and then jump back into the water. “Guess they’re starting round two.”

They were, indeed, playing round two.

“You know that sand volleyball scene,” Beckham said from her lounger where she was holding her sleeping son, Hiro. “Where Maverick and Goose play volleyball, and Ice Man is all sexy as hell, too, covered in sand and looking fine?”

All of the ladies with me snorted, but it was Six who answered. “Yes. I think every straight female that was born in the last fifty years has seen that scene. And loves it.”

The boys started to play in front of us, and right off the bat, a bad serve had Zach diving for the ball in the shallow end, only to go under before he could reach it, and come back up dripping water and laughing.

“I think this is wayyy better,” Beckham said as she watched her husband move.

Not that he wasn’t very pleasing to the eyes—all of the men were—but there was just something about Zach that kept drawing my eyes.

“You got that right,” I agreed. “If I had my cell phone right now, I’d be taking a shit ton of photos.”

“Don’t worry.” Six pointed at her Go Pro that she’d set up off in the distance at some point. “I’ll be sending you some professionally edited photos, as well as some still action shots.”

I grinned widely at her. “That’s perfect.”

We watched the game go on in companionable silence, all of us enjoying the game way too much to ruin it with too much talking.

Zach was up next serving, and I watched as those muscles along his ribs bunched and flexed as he tossed the ball in the air with one hand and served it with the other.

The rippling effect on his abdomen and chest had my pulse all but pounding.

“I might have to use your pool house.” Swayze fanned herself as she watched her husband come up out of the water to set the ball to Lynn. “Holy shit, Batman.”

Honestly, it felt like we were on the set of a porn movie with how we were acting every time one of the men got a good stretch up out of the water. It didn’t even matter that they were playing miserably.

“It makes me really thankful that they all tied their suits really well,” Beckham mused. “Because the way they’re jumping out of the water? All that force might’ve had them falling off.”

Just then, a woman came out of the house hurrying toward us, she had an armful of pizza boxes in her hands, and Sin saw her coming despite the ball in play that was coming toward him.

He completely ignored the ball, jumped out of the pool with a fury of strength that surprised me, and hustled toward the woman.

“And that’s Blaise, Sin’s woman,” Wyett added, even though I’d deduced that for myself. “She was working a case at the office and wasn’t able to get here until now. She’s also pregnant, and Sin can’t allow her to do anything without knowing her every move.”

“I heard that,” Sin mumbled as he walked toward us with the pizza boxes.

“You were meant to,” Wyett replied, bubbly and sweet.

  I grinned.

  I really adored these ladies.

“It’s true,” Blaise admitted as she sat down and tossed open the first pizza box she came to. “Do you know how torturous it was to smell these? I wanted to reach in the box and eat a slice the entire way here.”

Even Swayze and Beckham were great.

Eventually the promise of food lured the guys out of the pool and away from the volleyball game.

When my man finally arrived, I was on slice number three of pizza.

He took the part of the lounger behind me, and then reached over me, dripping water all over me, to reach for a slice of his own.

When he sat back, my entire back was wet.

I tossed him a saucy glare over my shoulder, causing him to reach forward and squeeze my hip, acknowledging how he made me feel and promising without words that he would make it up to me.

“Anything on that little girl living next to you?” Sin asked Zach as he pulled out yet another slice of pizza.

I decided he was on slice number six. He and Blaise had been eating out of the first box that looked to be Canadian bacon and mushrooms. Blaise was on her second slice, talking to Beckham, leaving only one slice left in the box.

I, on the other hand, was itching for more.

But that would be bad, right? I shouldn’t eat that much?

Then again, today was my cheat day. My one day a week that I could eat whatever the hell I wanted and not think about the consequences of my actions at least until tomorrow morning when I go
t up to run.

And if anyone deserved to eat whatever the hell she wanted, it was me, who’d been poisoned. Right?

I leaned back slightly to alleviate the pain in my hips and lower back. Wearing heels was never conducive to feeling great the next day.

That, or the back pain was likely due in part to me running today, spending forty-five minutes hunched over a toilet, or a combination of the two.

I was wiggling in the chair in front of Zach, but when my hips met either sides of his thighs, he reached forward, spread his legs a bit wider, and all but plastered me to him.

And, let me tell you something, I wasn’t raised to be stupid.

So I took his new positioning in stride, pulling the beach towel that was the only thing between us out, and then laying it over us so that we were both mostly covered.

His big hand moved so that it was resting on my lower belly, just above the indecently low bikini that Six had loaned me.

“As far as I can tell, there’s not much going on.” Zach shrugged. “She came over yesterday and asked me to help her put the trash into the trash can. Sweet little thing. But I didn’t see any bruises. She was in shorts and a t-shirt, so none visible, anyway.”

“I saw her this morning,” I said. “She was with her mom, though. They were both getting into their car so the mom could take her to school. They were talking about going out for dinner tonight, and the mom said that she couldn’t do it because she didn’t have time off of work. And she’d have to fend for herself until she could get home.”

“She’s six, right?” Blaise entered into the conversation. “That’s a little too young to be fending for herself, right?”

“The law states that if your child has the mental capacity to stay home, then they can stay home by themselves. At least in Texas,” Lynn murmured before taking a bite of the pizza crusts that Six kept leaving on his plate.

“Hmm,” I said. “Well, I see her every day when the mom has to work. They come into the store and the mom purchases a coffee to go and a breakfast sandwich for Zakelina. I can start pumping them for information if you think it’ll help?”

Sin actually looked kind of relieved. “Thanks. I should’ve just taken this case and I would have the information by now. But now she won’t even talk to me.”

Zach then went on to explain the specifics of the case as far as he knew, and what they suspected.
