Once the boys were asleep at our home, Kendrick and I retired to the theatre room. "Did you have fun babe?" I asked as I draped a blanket over my back.

"Yeah. Come here," he said pulling me into his lap. "I love you Nic King," he smiled flashing his white teeth and dimples. I kissed his lips and wrapped my arms around his neck, to gaze into his jade green eyes.

"I love you too Kendrick King," I replied.

"We been together a while huh?" he smiled, and slightly cocked his head to the right.

"Yeah, we made it," I chuckled, and so did he.

"We gone always make it, for better or worse," he replied with a serious expression.

"Yeah, I'm never letting you go," I smiled and raised my brows up and down, making him laugh.

"No matter what?" he asked moving my hair out my face.

"No matter what," I told him. We kissed in the dimly lit theatre, and made love all night.

  Chapter Two: Morgan Garrett

I was excited as hell, because today my girls and I were going to have a fitting for our dresses, for my up coming wedding. I was having my dress custom made by Vera Wang, and I couldn't wait to see it finished for the first time.

We were having the fitting here at my house, so I wanted to make sure we could all relax and enjoy our girl time. Kendreeis paid for manicurists and pedicurists to come and pamper us once we were done.

I hopped out the shower and wrapped myself in my towel after drying off a little. I suddenly remembered that Kaleeini had a little cold, so I pulled on the medicine cabinet to get his medicine out. I realized it was locked up, thanks to Kendreeis, and I rolled my eyes.

"Kendreeis!" I yelled and waited for him to appear.

"What's up?" he asked peeking his head into the bathroom.

"I thought you said you were gone get the lock off this," I frowned and pointed to the cabinet.

"I said soon," he replied and looked me up and down like he wanted to fade.

Ever since my semi overdose on pills, he hasn't let me go into any medicine cabinets, or nightstand drawers. No matter how much I tried to prove to him that I was fine, he still treated me like I was in an asylum.

"Well I need to get Kaleeini's medicine," I said rolling my eyes and shaking my head. He was getting on my fucking nerves with this bullshit.

He reached into his pocket, and pulled out the key to the cabinet. He unlocked the cabinet so I could get it, and closed it back as soon as I did, almost crushing my damn hand.

"Really Dreeis? You still don't trust me?" I asked holding the medicine close to me. He locked the cabinet back, and walked out ignoring me.

I shook my head and proceeded to get dressed. I don't know how long he planned to treat me like a psych ward patient, but we were not getting married until it stopped. I put on a short, orange sundress and matching sandals. I let my long, dark hair hang loose, sprayed my perfume, and then went to give Kaleeini his medicine.

Once my baby was set, I went to the room that my girls and I were getting fitted in, just to peep the scene. I smiled at how nice the room looked and at the flutes filled with champagne and sliced strawberries. I made sure to have apple cider for Jessica and Deija since they were pregnant. The tables in the room had light pink tablecloths, with all kinds of food platters and fruit on them. There was a chocolate fountain, with a plate of strawberries and pineapples around the bottom that made my mouth water.

"Ms. Garrett, your friends are here," my housekeeper Jennifer let me know.

"Thank you Jennifer," I smiled, as Nic, Christy, Jessica, Deija, and Danielle entered the room. We hugged, and Jennifer passed out the champagne and cider, with strawberry slices in them.

"Jessica, did you want to keep your original dress, or did you want them to pull the waistline out more?" the seamstress Lydia asked.

"No leave it as is. I will be back to normal in no time mami," Jessica spat, making us all laugh.

"So are you excited?!" Nic smiled and sipped her champagne.

"Kind of," I replied shrugging and sipping mine.

  "Kind of? Why?" Deija asked.

I exhaled heavily. "Kendreeis is still stuck on the fact that I was hooked on pills for a bit. He keeps locks on the medicine cabinets and drawers," I said rolling my eyes.

  "Aww," Christy smiled.

"Awwww? The fuck you say that for?" I frowned holding my glass out.

"Cause he really loves you. That nigga don't want nothing happening to you," Christy replied, and every one nodded in agreement.

"Well I'm not feeling the love," I replied and set my glass down. The seamstress walked into the closet, and brought all our dresses out. We all started to try them on, and everyone fit theirs perfectly, which made me exhale. I was excited about the wedding for the first time in a long time, after seeing everyone dressed up.

Once we were done, Jennifer made us lunch, and we ate until the nail ladies arrived to take care of us. We were all sitting in the seats with our feet in the water, when Kendreeis walked into the room. He looked so sexy in jeans, a polo, a snapback, and J's. His dreads were pulled back into a ponytail under the hat. His sweet cologne filled the room, letting everyone know he had arrived. He walked over to me and leaned down to kiss my lips. I barely kissed him back, because I wasn't feeling him at the moment.

"I'm sorry. I will take the locks off tomorrow," he said in a low tone for only me to hear. I smiled and he lifted my chin for another kiss. He dipped his tongue in my mouth, and I forgot where I was for a moment, as I melted. He pulled away then pecked me once more. "Alright, I'm going to meet my brothers at Kendrew's. Have a good time ladies," he smiled raising his hand up, and left the room.

"Ooohhhhhh shit!" All my friends said once he left, referring to him and I making out.

"Now are you excited?" Nic asked with one brow raised.

"Hell yeah, bitch!" I replied making everyone laugh.

We spent the rest of the night getting our nails fixed, and then we watched Netflix in the theatre room with my baby, Kaleeini.

  Chapter Two: Christy King

Kayden, Kaylie, and I were having dinner at T.G.I. Friday's, to celebrate Kayden headlining a tour for the first time.

"So how you feeling?" Kayden asked as I kissed Kaylie's cheek. I shrugged my shoulders in response. I didn't want Kayden to go, but luckily it was only a United States tour, and not worldwide.

"Why can't you come, ma?" he asked.

"Because I can't take care of her properly on your bus Kayden," I replied.

"What do you need? We can get it for you," he pleaded.

"I don't know. Kaylie is so little, and I don't think her being on the road is a good idea," I said sitting her in her little napper on the dinner table. Kayden exhaled heavily, but did not speak since the waiter was setting down our plates of food.

"I'm gonna be gone for four months, Christy. You know that right?" He raised both brows, making sure I understood. Tears started to well up at the thought of him being gone for so long. "Baby, don't cry," he said as he got up and sat next to me. "That's why I want you with me," he said, wiping my face. "You and Kaylie," he finished.

I shook my head and sipped my drink. "I can't. But, I love you Kayden." I smiled trying to brighten the moment.

"I love you too, Christy," he replied and kissed my lips. "And don't worry about me acting up while I'm gone," he smiled.

"I ain't worried about that. I'm sure you know what you have," I replied cockily.

"That's what I love about you. You never doubt my love for you, unless I give you a reason to," he stated in a serious tone. I smiled and kissed his soft lips for a couple seconds.

We finished our dinner, and then the three of us headed home. "I'm gone call you every night," he said as I undressed in our bedroom.

"FaceTime me every night!" I spat.

"Yeah FaceTime; every single night. You better answer every time too," he said as he pulled me close to him.

"You know I will Kayden," I replied cupping his face.

He pulled my dress over my head and dropped down to his knees. He laid my body on the bed, and pulled my panties off. "I'm gone miss this pussy," he said in a low tone before flicking his tongue over my clit.

"Oooohhh baby," I cooed as I caressed the back of his head.

He sucked and licked until I came all over his mouth. He then kissed up my body, and removed my bra. He licked and sucked my nipples as soon as he removed my bra, making chills run down my spine. He brought my legs onto his biceps, and eased his thick, long dick into my pussy.

"Fuck," he moaned as he stroked my insides.

"I love you Christy," he said.

"I love you too, Kayden," I moaned as he pounded my shit.

He tongued me down as I came again on his dick. "I'm getting you pregnant before I leave," he said in between kisses.

"You bet oooohh ahhh… you bet not," I finally got out, feeling him hit my spot. He ignored my comment, and we came together.

We laid there in that position kissing for a couple minutes straight and I savored every minute. I hoped me staying back was a good decision. I hadn't been apart from Kayden since I met him, damn near. If need be, I would fly to him and continue the tour with him.

  Chapter Two: Nic King

I was going to visit my mother today, because she said she needed to talk to me about something important. I was sure that whatever she needed to tell me had something to do with her mood at Kendrick and KJ's birthday party.

Once I was dressed, I headed out to see her. I was a little nervous hoping that it had nothing to do with her health or anything. I kept thinking she was gonna tell me she had cancer or something. I parked my car across the street from her house, and hopped out to hear the news. I noticed a decked out, all-black Mercedes in her driveway, and I frowned at it as I neared her door. I knocked on the door, and I heard two voices whispering to one another. What the hell was going on? My mom opened the door and her expression was sad as fuck.

"Hey ma, you okay?" I asked as I walked in past her. I saw a guy sitting on the couch smiling at me. He was light skinned, bald, appeared to be tall, with a stocky build. "Who is this?" I asked my mother as she and I sat down simultaneously.

"Nic, this is uh... This is...” she stammered.

"Your father," the guy cut in to say.

"My what?!" I frowned, standing back up.

"Your father, Nic," my mother reiterated.

"My father is dead!" I spat back, staring at the man as if he was a ghost.

"No, I'm right here," he said. "Niko Colaneri," he continued as if that name was supposed to mean something to me.

"My fathers name is Dennis Fuller," I replied matter-of-factly.

He snapped his neck towards my mother. "You promised you would tell her my real name!" he yelled.

"Nigga, don't yell at my mother!" I frowned, looking him up and down.

"I'm sorry baby girl," he said in a calmer tone, with his hands out.

"I'm not your baby girl! I'm not your daughter!" I said with as much attitude as I could.

"Nic, this is your father," my mother said looking at me, with a concerned expression.

"Why did you tell me those lies?!" I asked, looking at my mother like I didn't know her; matter of fact, I didn't know her.

"It was best for you!" my mother cried.

I ran my fingers through my hair. "This is a joke!" I laughed out of anger. "This is a damn joke right now," I repeated.

"Nic, I'd like you to have dinner with my family and I," Niko chimed in smiling like this was a good meeting.

"I'm not having dinner with you!" I frowned in disgust.

"You will, or I'll have your little boyfriend murdered," he replied coldly.

"My husband you mean?" I asked sarcastically, while flashing my ring.

"Yes... your husband," he said glaring at my mother. "If you want him to stay unharmed, and for his and my business partnership to flourish, you will have dinner with me and meet my family," he continued. I turned to walk out the door. "And don't think of skipping out. I have people on call right now that can blow Kendrick's head open before you even make it home," he said. "So, where are we meeting?" he asked as I faced the door to leave.

  "Cheesecake Factory," I replied.

"Oh? Why there?" he asked cheesing.

"It's my favorite. You'd know that if you were actually a father to me," I spat. He dropped his head, and I stormed out.

I hopped in my car, and sped home on damn near two wheels. My phone made a sound, letting me know that my mother was calling. I ignored her and continued home. I was happy that my babies were with their paternal grandparents, because I just wanted to lie in bed and cry. I arrived home and ran up the stairs looking for my baby. I saw Kendrick playing a video game, and I knocked the controller out of his hand.

  "Nic wha-"

I kissed his lips before he could finish, and we started to undress each other as I straddled him. Just the thought of my father killing him, made me need him and want him more than ever. As I slowly bounced on his dick in the upstairs den, I hugged his body tighter than ever, and kissed his lips hard.

"I love you Kendrick," I moaned as tears ran down my face.

"I love you too ma," he said as he sucked and licked my neck and shoulders.

  Chapter Two: Niko Colaneri

"I'm furious right now. I'm sure you can tell," I said to Mariah.

"I really don't care how you feel,” she replied.

"What the fuck did I leave town for, Mariah? You didn't even hold up your end of the got damn deal!" I yelled standing up.

"Nic is her own person Niko, she was gonna do what she wanted! I could only make decisions for her for so long!" she yelled back, and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Kendrick King? Really?! Do you even realize who our little girl is married to?" I squinted my eyes and yelled.

"Kendrick is a magnificent boy. I don't care about all that other stuff!" She frowned and looked me up and down in disapproval.

"Wow! But it was a problem when we were together, I see."

"Yeah it was. It was a damn problem, but your lifestyle wasn't the only thing about you that made me miserable!" she spat.

"This is a first Mariah Fuller. Please speak your mind."

"You were broke Niko! You were hustling but still broke! At least Kendrick is making a living for his family! You didn't have a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out of!" she yelled.

Anger consumed me, and I couldn't contain myself. I slapped her hard as hell, making her fall back onto the couch.

"Get the fuck out of my house! Take your bitch ass back to Italy, Niko! Leave me and Nic be, you no good muthafucka!" she yelled as tears spilled down her cheeks. I loved Mariah, still to this day, and to hear how she felt about me killed my pride. I would've done anything to provide for her and Nic, but she clearly didn't have faith in my abilities.

  "I'm sorry Mariah, I didn't mean-"

"Get the fuck out Niko, before I call the police!" she yelled, cutting me off and breathing heavily with the phone in her hand. I nodded and left.

This was all too much for me. I really only came to the states to meet with Kendrick King. After my meeting, I was gonna set up the shipments for his operation, then head home. Unfortunately, my plans changed drastically after finding out Kendrick was married to my baby girl.

Nic's mother, Mariah, got pregnant when I was 25 years old and she, 22. It stung to hear Mariah tell me Kendrick was better than I was back then, because he's only 22 years old. On the other hand, she was right. Kendrick had the mind of a man my current age. As much as I didn't want Nic married to him, he was one of the most business savvy kingpins in the D.M.V area, damn near. He ran shit like a 50-year-old man would, and that was commendable. If she had to be with a kingpin, Kendrick was the crème de la crème.

However, I left to go to Italy before Nic was born, when Mariah was about three months pregnant, because her mother didn't want her to grow up and lead the same life she led herself. I felt me le
aving the country was all in vain, now that Nic was living the life that we'd hoped to prevent. I can't even begin to explain the feeling that washed over me, when I spotted my daughter’s name tattooed on that thug’s neck. I knew who it was, because Mariah promised me she would name Nic after me if I agreed to let her have a different last name. She sent me a copy of her birth certificate, for me to have as a keepsake. I can still remember when I got it in the mail, and read it aloud: Nic Amyah Colaneri. I changed her last name in my head to make me feel better. I kept a shoebox of pictures that Mariah would send me every year she had a birthday. I made sure to send her hefty checks in the mail, to be passed off as some after death inheritance I left her. It all seemed like a fabulous idea then.
