April shakes her head.
I sigh. Oh, this poor newbie. “He probably doesn’t. Who told you he does?”
She sighs heavily. “Sally, a nurse from the hospital that works on the same floor as Nick told me.”
“We’ll figure this out, I promise.”
She gives me a little smile.
“Now, lets go shopping,” I say, clapping my hands together. Jade comes bursting through the door with a huge smile on her face. “Let’s go knock him dead,” Jade says as April’s eyes widen.
I look at Jade and she shrugs her shoulders. “I was listening through the door. Hell, I wanted to know what the fuck was going on too, you know.”
I give a firm nod and Jade squeals like a little girl. “Make-over time.”
