The Stand Off Page 30

“You must think that I’m a fool; your word is garbage to me,” Michael sneered.

“I’m telling you the truth. I love that woman enough to let you walk away from this,” Dean swore.

“I know you do, and that’s why I can’t let her go. Your love for her makes you weak… like me. When you lose her love, you will finally be able to feel what I felt. You will finally know pain, and I will finally get my revenge.”

“You don’t have to do this,” Dean tried to reason with him.

“Of course I have to do this. I lost the love of my life because of you. I want you to know exactly how that feels.”

“Bender I’m fucking warning you… you let her go right now!” Dean yelled in a beastly tone.

“I can’t, it’s all over; you ruined everything for me. The media has humiliated me in front of the world, and the police want to question me. Trust me I will go to jail once they see the extent to what I’ve done. The worst part is that Reva hates me more now than she ever has,” Michael cried.

“You blackmailed her,” Dean said with a look of disgust.

“She destroyed me; she deserves what she gets,” he said with a sadistic grin.

Pixie crept in through the broken back window and thanked her lucky stars when she saw a large two by four propped against the wall. With the large block of wood in hand, she silently crept into the room where Michael held Lux. She held the wood like a baseball player, ready to swing as she tiptoed ever so quietly up behind Michael.

When Dean saw Pixie creeping up from behind Michael, he started rambling loudly to keep him distracted.

“It’s not over. You have the opportunity to get out of this alive… with no repercussions,” Dean yelled loud enough to cover any sound that Pixie made.

“And go where? I have nothing… nothing! You destroyed everything; you took the only thing I have ever loved.”

“You can start over; you can have a new life and a new love! All you have to do is let Lux go; please let her go.” Dean had never said please a day in his life, but he was prepared to grovel at this man’s feet if it meant that he’d free Lux.

“I can’t; I really wish that I could. You have no one but yourself to blame for this Dean… I’m so sorry, Lux,” Michael said in a whiney voice.

Pixie was going to wait until she had a clear shot of Michael’s head. However, upon hearing his last words, she got nervous and threw caution to the wind.

  “Lux, duck!” Pixie screamed.

Lux did not hesitate when she heard her sister’s voice, she immediately bent over. Michael was shocked and turned his head at the exact moment that Pixie swung her weapon. The wood smashed into his head and made a sickening sound. Wasting no time, Dean immediately grabbed Lux and pulled her away.

The blow had stunned Michael, and he staggered backwards as he grabbed his head. Deciding not to take any chances, Pixie whacked him again. Dean took that opportunity to tackle Michael to the ground.

“I gave you a choice,” Dean said.

Michael attempted to move, and Dean gave him a quick blow to the ribs to keep him still. Michael was too dazed from the blow to the head to fight Dean. Dean rolled him on his stomach, grabbed a dirty piece of rope from the pile on the ground and proceeded to tie his hands behind his back.

“Please, I’ll never bother you again, I promise. Please just let me go!” Michael cried deliriously.

“You’re not going anywhere until the police get here,” Pixie snapped at Michael.

Dean grabbed him by the back of the collar and dragged him over to the old heater attached to the wall. Lux grabbed another piece of old rope from the ground and took it to Dean. Dean tightly secured Michael to the heater before he stood up to examine his work.

“There’s no way he’s getting out of that knot,” Lux said as she glared at Michael.

“Not a chance,” Pixie agreed as she came to stand beside her sister. All three of them glared at Michael as they stood over him.

“All of this was for naught; you wasted so much time crafting the plan to destroy me, and it backfired in your face.” Dean stated flatly.

“How does it feel, loser? I knew I should have stuck those firecrackers up your ass the night we found out you lied,” Pixie taunted him.

Dean put his arm around Lux and led her away from Bender as Pixie continued to ridicule him. Once they were away, Dean pulled her into a tight embrace. He held her for a long time before he pulled back to look at her.

“I don’t know what I would have done if something had happened to you,” he whispered before he kissed her.

Suddenly, the door swung open and Lolo, Graves, and Pax rushed in.

“Mom?” both Pixie and Lux said in unison.

“Lux!” Pax screeched in despair as she ran over to her daughter.

“Mom! You’re out of the house!” Lux cried in shock as her mother grabbed her into a tight embrace.

“I couldn’t find you anywhere; I thought something had happened to you,” Pax cried as she held her daughter tightly. “I was so scared.”

“I can’t believe you’re actually outside,” Lux was blown away.

“I couldn’t stay in that building; I needed to make sure that you were okay,” Pax explained.

“If only we’d known Lux’s disappearance would bring you out of the house, we would have made Lux disappear years ago,” Pixie joked but when her mother frowned, she quickly shut her mouth.

“Everything’s okay now mom and it’s going to stay that way,” Lux promised her as she hugged her securely.

  ***

Michael Bender sobbed as the police led him through the parted crowd. Dean pulled Lux closer to him and glared at Michael as he went by. Lux leaned her head against Dean’s chest as she scowled at Michael.

“The handcuffs are too tight,” Michael cried to one of the officers.

“Get used to it punk,” Graves hissed as they walked by.

“Have fun in prison, Clifton, you counterfeit cop,” Pixie ridiculed him.

“Stay away from that soap, psycho-stalker boy,” Lolo taunted with a chuckle.

“Good riddance,” Lux whispered before Dean kissed the top of her head.

The crowd cheered as Michael was put in the back of the police car. The shouts increased as they drove away from the building.

“Cake and vodka for everyone!” Pixie yelled and the crowd went wild.

“Block party!” Lolo yelled as she raised a piece of cake.

“Now this party is going down in the records for the worst party ever,” Kiki joked as she crossed her arms.

“But also the most exciting,” Lolo added.

“I thought it was a great party,” Pixie said with a grin as she grabbed a cup of vodka.

“Of course you would,” Kiki laughed.

“The bad guy lost! I’d say that puts it on the best party list,” Pixie reasoned with a smile.

“I’m going to bed; I’ve had more than enough excitement for this evening,” Pax said before she blew a kiss to everyone.

  “Good night Mom,” Lux waved.

“Sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite,” Pixie added.

Lux turned to her family with a huge smile on her face. “I must say; this has been one of the most interesting parties we’ve ever had. I would like to thank all of you for throwing us such an exciting albeit somewhat-scary and mostly dangerous party. And thank you Kiki for making such a beautiful meal but now we are going to retire to my room for the evening.”

“You never have to thank us,” Pixie purred as she kissed her sister’s cheek.

  “Never,” Kiki backed her up.

“Here take this.” Pixie grabbed the chocolate cake with Dean and Lux’s name written on it.

“I made that one especially for you two,” Kiki told them.

“Cake is kinky,” Pixie said with a smile.

“And take this, too,” Graves said as she handed Dean a bottle of unopened champagne.

  Lux took
a moment to smile and appreciate them. They were her friends, her family, and her life. “I love you girls.”

“We love you, too,” Pixie said with a wink before Lux and Dean headed into the building.

  ***

Dean and Lux walked into her bedroom, and she instantly let out a sigh of relief. He locked the bedroom door as she walked over to her bed.

“Let’s just eat on the bed,” she said as she put the bottle of champagne on her black and white polka dot comforter. After Dean sat the cake on the bed, Lux grabbed him and hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around her and held her firmly against his body. They embraced for a long time, silently appreciating the feel of each other. Lux closed her eyes as she inhaled his fresh scent. Damn, she loved that scent. “I could stay like this forever.”

“I agree. After what just happened, I don’t ever want to let you go,” he agreed as he kissed the top of her head.

“What a crazy night,” Lux whispered against his chest.

“Crazy yet valuable,” Dean admitted and Lux finally pulled back to look at him.

“Valuable?” She shot him a look that silently questioned his sanity.

“I’ve never been afraid of anything in my life until I saw that knife pressed against your throat. I knew at that moment that my life would end with yours,” he confessed.

“Don’t say that,” she felt the tears stinging her eyes.

“It’s true. That knife was pressed to your throat as well as mine. If I didn’t drop dead on the spot, I would have murdered him; regardless, my life would be over.”

She shook her head. “No it wouldn’t; you would have gotten off. No judge would have blamed you for what you did. You wouldn’t have served a day in prison.”

“It wouldn’t matter whether I was locked in a cell or not; without you, my entire world would be a prison. Regardless of where I ended up, I would be trapped in my thoughts of you. I would rot away.”

He let go of her and took a step back. He reached in his pocket and grabbed the ring he’d been holding onto since the cabin. He went down on one before her and grabbed her hand.

Lux felt her heart begin to beat wildly as her anticipation created a cold-ripple effect throughout her body. When he began to speak, Lux forced her limbs to stop shaking so she could give him her full attention.

“I want you to marry me, and I’m not giving you an option to say no. Tonight made me remember how quickly it can all end and just how fast the one that you love the most could be taken from you. I don’t ever want this to end; I want you in my life until the day that I’m dead. I want you to be my wife.” He slipped the ring on her finger and kissed the top of her hand. “Be warned, if you object I’m going to take you back to the cabin and chain you in my room until you change your mind.”

“Are you kidding me? I would love to be your wife,” she cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him for a moment before pulling back. “But I do like the idea of being chained in the cabin.”

“And I like the idea of you being tied to your own bed.” Dean put his arm under her butt and stood up.

“I like that idea, too,” she said breathlessly before she grabbed his head and kissed him.

  1 year later

Lux was in the same spot that she’d been in a time or two before. She was hanging from the long chain attached to the athletic room ceiling with her head thrown back in ecstasy. Her sensual screams echoed throughout the cabin and erected Dean’s cock to a painful degree. The corset of her wedding gown was pulled down below her breasts, leaving her swollen nipples to jut out provocatively. Her husband was under her voluminous wedding gown with her leg thrown over his shoulder. He spread her nether lips wide as he devoured her pulsing pussy.

“No more!” she cried out as she felt her body began to orgasm again. She tried to pull away from his mouth but he grabbed her free leg and lifted it to his shoulder as well. He clutched her ass and began to rapidly circle his tongue across her pulsing clit.

“Fuuuck!” she wailed and arched her back as the orgasm exploded throughout her lower body.

After he had licked every last drop of juice from her pussy, he pulled her legs from his shoulders and put her left foot back on the floor. He held her right thigh tightly as he stood to face her.

“My beautiful bride,” he whispered as he leaned in to kiss her lips. He put his free hand between her legs and grazed her clit with his thumb.

“No, no, no,” she shook her head as his thumb sent electric pulses through her overly stimulated clit. She tried to pull her hips back, but his death grip on her thigh prevented her from moving.

“I love the way that you squirm when I touch you after you come. Your body is so sensitive,” he brushed his lips against hers as he grazed her clit again and then pulled back to watch her, “and so responsive.”

“Let me down I want to touch you, too,” Lux said and then bit her bottom lip when he blew air across her breast.

“No, I’m not finished with you yet.” He bent his head and latched onto her nipple. He sucked on the tip ruthlessly as he lightly pinched her clit.

Lux threw her head back and let it happen. She couldn’t stop him if she wanted to… and she most definitely did not want him to.

  3 hours later…

Lux and Dean were naked on the back porch, sharing a generous piece of their wedding cake. Lux sat on Dean’s lap while he fed her bites of the thick, chocolate-fudge cake.

“I can’t eat another bite,” Lux said after devouring more than half of the piece.

“I still can’t believe you picked this place over Europe.” He grabbed her breast and ran his thumb over her nipple.

“This place is more comfortable than Europe. We can be naked the whole time, and no one will see. We can skinny dip, you can teach me to fish… we can even have primal, beastly sex in the front yard if we want. We can do whatever we want here, and no one will bother us.”

“No one is ever going to bother us again.”

  The End
