by Jacob Holo

  What did it want?

  Did it want to live?

And if so, what purpose drove it?

Would it not be better to die here, mourning its pilot?

Or was there something else for it to accomplish?

It bent the full power of its mind to these questions and poured through all the knowledge it had. All the experiences of the pilot were there, coded within the neural column, and it sifted through the pilot’s life with hyper-intelligent diligence.

With a sudden flash of insight, it realized something.

An heir. There would be an heir.

  The possibility existed.

And if the possibility existed, then it must find out. It must try to return! That was its duty!

The Earth and Aktenzek. It must return to the universe. But how?

Of course, the Earth Gate connected with the Lunatic Realm. The seraph must reach it and pass through it. The Gate was somewhere alongside the Ziggurat, somewhere far far above.

But how tall was the Ziggurat? How many years would it take to scale it? A hundred? A thousand? Ten thousand? The seraph did not know.

But the answer did not matter.

  It would try.

It would try, and it would succeed.

I want to live, the seraph said.

Othaniel reached down, took hold of its outstretched hand, and pulled it from the ocean of lightning.

The pilot’s life was over, but the seraph’s odyssey had just begun.

  THE DRAGONS OF JUPITER

“The strong action scenes are fast-paced throughout… the dialogue flows well, and the fictional world is detailed, plausible and well-designed… Well-written, sincere and undemanding military sci-fi adventure.”

  - KIRKUS REVIEWS

Two worlds at war. Two brothers at war.

With advanced weaponry and impenetrable armor, the Crusaders smash aside anything that stands in their way. Led by Kaneda Kusanagi, they have only one mission: to destroy Matriarch, the last thinking machine, and free the people of Jupiter from her tyranny.

Whether they like it or not.

Standing in their way are the Dragons, led by Kaneda’s estranged brother Ryu. With super-human reflexes and invisible battle suits, the Dragons are masters of infiltration and sabotage. Loyal only to Matriarch, they will stop at nothing to protect their way of life.

The two brothers are set to collide in a battle that will shake the great powers of the solar system and force both men to question what they believe in.

  TIME REAVERS

“After the fast opening, chapters rarely pass without a big, life-or-death battle, which leaves the novel in a nearly continuous intense state.”

  - KIRKUS REVIEWS

The monsters are real, and time is their weapon.

Fed up with bad teachers and daily fights with her sister, sixteen-year-old Nicole Taylor yearns for something better. Sadly, she’s in for a letdown, because the world ends next week.

Nicole discovers she has a rare gift. She can bend time around her and even stop it completely. With her powers awakening, she must face the Reavers: horrific killing machines that exist outside our time.

Plagued with nightmares and ambushed by monsters at every turn, Nicole has one chance to stop their genocidal invasion. With help from a chain-smoking pyrokinetic, a neurotic sword-wielding assassin, and an icy goth chick with a crossbow, she may stand a chance.

But the Reavers are tireless foes, and Time is on their side.
