She shoved his shoulder. "You're a cruel, cruel man."
"On the other hand, my house is pretty empty with just me living here. And my boss told me he can't work full time anymore."
"Can I live with you or not?"
"Yes, of course. I didn't think it needed to be said. You'll have to talk to your dad about the job."
She kissed him again. "As my first act as your fiance―"
"Second," he said.
"Oh right, second act. I'll go find us something to eat."
"Gee, who'd have thought. I love you even more than I did five minutes ago."
She rolled her eyes and found his robe on the back of the door. She wrapped it around herself and blew him a kiss over her shoulder.
She was the luckiest woman in the world.
About the Author
Asrai Devin is a exhausted mom of 2 and wife of 1. She tries to fit her writing around the rest of her life, but finds her life has to fit in around writing daydreaming.
Even if she's a Saskatchewan Roughrider's fan at her core, she's lived in Alberta for the last decade in a cute house with entirely too much stuff.
When she's not watching sports with her husband, chasing after the kids and the dog, or daydreaming about redheads and long kisses in exotic locales, she can be found checking on-line to see what the Dragon Age: Inquisition release date is.
