“No need,” Audrey said and I snapped my eyes open again and on her.

  “Why not?”

She smiled around at us all.

“You remember who I used to be? You don’t think that I actually trusted that this would go off without a hitch, did you?”

“What are you saying, Audrey?” Grace asked.

“I’m saying that I planned for this eventuality. Putting my distrust of almost everyone to good use.”

“Audrey, spit it out,” Shiv said, his face sour.

She shrugged carelessly and flipped her normal looking braid over her shoulder. She had adopted an Earth hairstyle in order to blend in.

“I put trackers on them, of course. I didn’t hold my position at The Agency for so long because I didn’t deliver results.”

“Trackers,” Shiv said. “Of course. I should have thought of that.”

“What’re their numbers?” I said, flipping my forearm up and activating my comm unit with a tap on the smooth material.

  “364T1, 2, 3, and 4.”

“Good choice of model,” I said. “Send us the link.”

She tapped her own arm and my screen blinked. I pulled up a screen in the air and stared at the coordinates of the trackers. The rest of them moved in to see.

“Aw, shit,” Shiv said, turning away in disappointment. “And here I thought we were going to get to spend some quality time on Earth. I hate space.”

“What?” Grace said and I wondered if her brain was really okay because she didn’t seem to be catching on very easily after being knocked out.

“Grace,” I said, pointing at the screen. “They’re on the United Nations space station. In orbit.”

  “This is bad,” Chad said.

“We’ve got to get them back,” Shiv said, looking determined. “We can’t let those devices stay in the hands of some rogue Finders. Who knows what they plan to do with them?“

“We may not know exactly what they’re going to do with them,” Audrey said, looking grim. “But I pretty much guarantee that whatever it is, it won’t be good.”
