When Kat's Away [Sequel to Anna Doubles Down] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 6

by Missy Martine

Win leaned forward and licked at his mouth, his tongue tracing David’s lips then licking them open. He turned the kiss into a sensual massage, his hands sliding down, rubbing, kneading David’s back. His tongue and lips traveled over David’s chin then licked the length of his throat.

David raised his hands to stroke Win’s smooth chest and stomach, stopping to tweak his nipples. Leaning close, he latched on to the brown circle, flicking his tongue back and forth, swirling around the tight bud. He inhaled Win’s sweet scent, his tongue trailing down his belly while one hand slid down Win’s side, his fingers clutching the denim-clad hip.

Win pushed him back. “Take off your shirt.” He helped David peel the shirt from his body, pressing a soft kiss to his stomach.

David groaned, fisting his hand in Win’s hair. His lover was so damn hard his cock was outlined perfectly in the thick denim of his pants. David’s fingers crept to the buttons, unfastening them one by one, until Win’s hard cock sprang free, his sac hanging low and heavy.

Win reached out and grabbed his hand, guiding it to his cock. “Touch me,” he begged.

Win’s cock reached almost to his navel, his balls larger than David ever seen them. David let his hand caress the length while his other hand swiftly undid his own pants. Pumping his arm, he reached back and slipped his fingers into Win’s crease, tapping the tight opening hidden there with his middle finger.

“This ass was made for my cock.”

“Don’t make me wait.” Win pushed his own pants down around his knees and then pushed David’s past his hips. He cupped David’s ass, taking his lips in a carnal kiss.

David clenched his stomach and rubbed his cock along Win’s and then slowly lowered himself to his knees. “Gotta taste you now,” he said, cupping Win’s balls, swallowing down half his length and sucking. Carefully he moved his hand up and down the rigid cock, his other hand gently cupping the heavy, warm sac beneath, slowly stroking him.

  “David, that feels so good.”

He licked his way up Win’s shaft and flicked his tongue over and around the head. Animalistic growls came from Win as he lapped at the distended head. He explored his cock thoroughly, tongue tracing the veins, the head, dipping into the slit. Then, he swallowed him to the hilt, his nose buried deep into his musky-smelling curls.

“Don’t. I don’t want to come until you’re inside me.”

David gave him a final lick and then stood. “I need to be inside you. Bend over the sink and spread your legs.” He watched Win move into position and then stepped closer. He licked the small of Win’s back, slowly moving lower and down his crease. When his own cock surged, he palmed the length, pinching the head hard enough to send a message to make it behave. He parted Win’s cheeks and ran the tips of his thumbs over the tight hole. “Let me slick up.”

David turned around and grabbed the butter off the table. He took a liberal amount and greased up his cock and his hand. He moved back in position and found Win’s tight little hole then eased inside the soft, wet heat with the middle finger of his right hand. Quickly he slid in a second lubed finger. His ass muscles clenching tight, Win shivered.

  “You okay?”

“God, yes. I love the first bite and burn.”

David inserted a third finger and gave the smooth gland inside an experimental stroke.

  “Oh, God,” Win cried out.

“Not too loud, lover, or we might have an audience.”

Win panted. “She’ll have to see us together sooner or later.”

David lined up his cock to the quivering, snug little hole and began to push. Win let out a low moan at the feel of the thick cock filling him from behind.

“Yeah, there’s that burn.” He grunted sharply. “It’s only for a moment and then the pain turns to pleasure.”

Win’s buttocks flexed as David ground in a bit before withdrawing. He licked along Win’s spine, his teeth latching on to his shoulder. “I need you,” he whispered. He began moving his hips back and forth, slowly thrusting into Win’s ass, groaning with each push that brought needed pressure to the rigid length of his cock. He slid his hand around Win’s hips and stroked his erection. “Stroke yourself to the same rhythm I’m using.”

Win took his cock in his hand and began pumping. “I’m too close.” With a shudder he came, his hot cum spraying over his hard stomach and David’s hand.

David’s balls pulled tight, and the electric feel of orgasm raced up his spine. With a deep moan he came, his entire body convulsing in climax.

“Damn, that was incredible.” Win gasped.

David chuckled and pulled his face around, bringing their lips together. He thrust his tongue deep, pulling on his lips.

“It was incredible, but it was missing something.” Win sighed.

David laid his head on Win’s shoulder. “It’s missing Kat. We won’t be complete until she’s part of us.”

“It can’t be soon enough for me.”

“We’ve got to get cleaned up and get to bed.”

Win sighed. “I know. I just wish we could go crawl into Kat’s bed.”

David pulled out and grabbed a towel off the cabinet. He cleaned himself off and pulled up his pants. “Soon. We should use this time away from Mom to show Kat how things could be between us.”

Win grabbed a rag and wiped down his stomach. “You think she’ll be more relaxed and perhaps feeling a little less guilty if Anna is not in her sight.”

“Oh, yeah. I think when Kat’s away from Anna she’ll be a lot more receptive to us.”

“Then maybe we should find a reason to stay in town tomorrow night.”

“I like the way you think.” David glanced at the dishes and sighed. “Let’s get this cleaned up fast and get to bed. Tomorrow’s gonna be a big day.”

  * * * *

The sun was just spilling into Hamilton when David lifted Kat onto the wagon. “It smells like rain. but I think it’ll hold off until we get there.” He gave her a little smile. “There’s no need to worry.”

“I’m not worried. I trust both of you to keep me safe.” She watched Win throw a dark-blue blanket over a sturdy brown horse. “That’s a beautiful horse, Win. What’s his name?”

He chuckled. “Her name is White Socks.”

She stared at the horse’s feet. All four of them were completely white. “Good name. I guess you can see I know nothing about horses, or camping, or the outdoors for that matter. I’ve always been, and always will be, a city girl at heart.”

David walked over and put a large bundle wrapped in canvas in the back of the wagon.

  “What’s that?” asked Kat.

“It’s what Mom calls an emergency travel pack. It’s got blankets, matches, some food, and a couple of canteens of water. She made me promise a long time ago never to take off without it in the wagon.” He climbed up into the seat beside Kat and picked up the reins.

“Why’s Win riding a horse? There’s plenty of room here on the seat.”

“I ride to keep watch. It’s good to have at least one person in a party who’s free to come and go easily.”

“Okay,” David said. “As Mom would say, let’s get this party going.” He slapped the reins against the horses’ rumps. “Git up there.”

Kat grabbed the edge of her seat as the wagon began waddling into movement. She hadn’t expected the back-and-forth swaying motion. She said a silent prayer for her breakfast to stay where it belonged.

Several hours later Kat breathed a sigh of relief as they pulled into Treasure City. She was exhausted, and her butt was throbbing. “The first thing I’m gonna do is make you some seat cushions for your wagon.”

David laughed. “Mom says the same thing every time my dads put her in the wagon, but so far they’ve talked her out of it each time.”

She giggled as he pulled the wagon to a stop in front of The General Store.

David set the brake and turned to Kat. “This is Carl Macon’s place. He’ll have just about anything you could possi
bly want.” He jumped down and then reached up and grabbed Kat by the waist, lowering her to the ground.

Win turned his horse toward the far end of town. “I’ll meet you back here in an hour.”

“Where’s he going?” Kat watched Win ride away.

David placed his hand on Kat’s arm. “He’s picking up some supplies for Beau.”

“Couldn’t he have waited and we could all go together?”

“No, he’s not exactly welcome in The General Store. Not everyone is tolerant of Indians in these parts.”

She looked down the road toward Win, a solitary man on a proud horse, and then followed David into the store.

A thin, scrawny man with gray hair walked toward them, a wary frown on his face. “I was expecting Beau and Zeke any day now. What can I do for you, David?”

“Carl Macon, this is Kat Evans. She’s a friend of the family, visiting from the East, and she has a little problem. She made it here fine, but her trunk disappeared somewhere along the way. We’re here for her to pick up some clothing.”

Carl looked her up and down and then nodded toward the corner. “Ready-made stuff is over there.” He turned to David. “Did your Ma send a list?”

David shook his head. “She’s already stocked up for the next few months. Besides, you know she likes to do her own picking.”

“Very well. Just yell out when you’re ready for me.” He turned and walked toward the back.

  “Friendly man,” Kat whispered.

David chuckled and took her arm as they walked to the front of the store. “If it’s any consolation, Mom can’t stand him either.”

Kat looked at the shelves and stopped. “Look at these prices.”

  “What? Are they too high?”

She laughed. “Fifty pounds of flour for a buck seventy-five. Two pounds of butter for seventy cents. A pound of coffee for twenty cents. Are you kidding me? If I had access to my savings account, I’d never need to work again at these prices.”

David frowned and led her to the clothing. “See if you can find anything you like.”

  “Don’t they sell women’s pants?”

He rolled his eyes. “No, you’ll have to buy some material and make them yourself.”

  “Me? Sew?” Kat squeaked.

He snorted. “Yes, you. Mom’s been making her own for years.” He leaned in closer. “If you’re really wanting to start teaching again, you’re gonna need some dresses. I guarantee the town won’t hire a woman wearing pants.” He moved even closer, sniffing delicately at her hair. “You smell so good, Kat.” His arm came up to grip her around the waist.

Kat tensed, and then slowly raised her gaze. Her heartbeat raced as she leaned toward his parted lips.

“Got a few more dresses back here that just came in yesterday, if’n you’re interested.”

She jerked out of David’s embrace, feeling the heat bloom in her cheeks. “I guess we better hurry so we can meet up with Win.”

David’s hands fell away and he stepped back, a sexy smile spreading across his face. “Okay, for now. I’m a patient man.”

Kat sighed and began picking through the meager selection of dresses. Everything was pastel colored and covered in little flowers of some kind—skirts and blouses that buttoned to the neck, petticoats with ruffled hems, and cotton stockings and garters. She picked up one garment and groaned. “Muslin drawers with a drawstring waist. I wonder when they invented the thong?”

The door flew open and crashed against the wall. A young boy, no older than ten or twelve, raced into the room, his gaze darting all around. He moved toward the clothing. “Your name David?”

David nodded. “Yes. Who wants to know?”

“You best come quick before they hurt him bad.”

David took off running through the door.

Kat glanced at the boy. “What’s going on?”

His young face turned rosy as he blushed. “Them Hartford boys are in town today, and they don’t take kindly to Indians coming in their store.”

Kat dropped the dress she was looking at. “Where are they? Take me there.”

The boy turned toward the door. Kat following close on his heels. She could see a crowd of men, and some women, standing in front of a store at the end of the street. There was shouting, but she couldn’t see anything.

The boy grabbed her arm. “Lady, I wouldn’t go in there if’n I was you. They won’t care who gets hurt as long as they’re punishing that Injun.”

Kat yanked her arm free. “We’ll see about that.”

She pushed her way through the crowd, elbowing some of the larger men in the ribs and then quickly moving out of their range. Finally she was close enough to see what was going on.

Two men were holding Win’s head under the water in the trough outside the Feed and Seed store. Every half a minute or so they brought him up, and she could see they’d beaten him about the face. His lip was split, and one of his eyes was swollen shut. She looked around for David and found him off to the side, being held back by two rather large men. He was fighting to get loose but didn’t look as if he was hurt. He was cursing them with every breath he took.

She walked closer. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she yelled.

One of the men watching from the door of the store came forward. “Little lady, you ought to be watching your mouth.” He moved a little closer and reached out his hand. “That’s no way for a lady to be talking. Maybe you need somebody to tan your britches.”

She snorted. “Maybe I do, but I guarantee it won’t be you.”

Using everything she’d learned in defense class, Kat spun around like she was leaving and came back strong, delivering a hard kick to his knee. When he cried out and bent forward, she raised her knee sharply into his nose, gratified to hear the crunch of bone and see the spurt of blood. His bellow could probably be heard all the way back in Hamilton.

She started toward the trough, and someone grabbed her arm roughly. She turned, prepared to deliver another kick, and caught sight of the star pinned to the man’s vest. She let her anger soar.

“Sheriff, are you gonna just stand there and let them injure this man even worse than he already is? Does he not count because he’s a Native American?”

The sheriff frowned and didn’t release her arm. “He’s a what?”

Kat narrowed her eyes and stamped her foot. “He’s an Indian. Are you gonna let them kill him just because his skin is a different color from yours?”

He shook her roughly. “Ain’t nobody being killed in my town.” He looked over to the trough. “Ray, you and Henry let that boy go, now.”

The two men laughed. The larger one stepped up and put his hand on Win’s back. “Come on, Sheriff Wallace, we’re just having a little fun with him.”

The sheriff pulled out his gun, still holding onto Kat’s arm, and cocked the pistol. “I said, let him go now.”

Kat kicked his boot. He looked down at her and scowled. “Tell them to let him go as well.”

He looked over at David and nodded. “Let him go.”

David rushed over to Win when they released him, still slouched down in the water. He pulled him out and laid him on the ground.

Kat pulled at her arm and looked up at the tall sheriff. “Let me to see to my friends.”

He stared at her for a moment. “No more of them fancy kicks while you’re here in my town.” He shook her arm. “Do you understand?”

Kat nodded. He waited a moment longer and then released her. She rushed to kneel at Win’s other side. “David, is he okay?” She ran her hand over Win’s head.

He opened the eye that wasn’t swollen shut and gave her a small smile. “I’m fine, Kat, really. No real damage done.”

Kat gazed up into David’s eyes and felt her breath catch. The anguish and love she saw there was intense. She moved forward to block him from everyone else. “Do you think you can stand?” When he nodded, she looked at David. “Why don’t you go get the wagon and bring it? I’ll
stay here with Win.”

David nodded and started to rise. “What about your clothes?”

“I’ll make do with some of Anna’s and Eva’s. Let’s just get him home so we can take care of him.”

“Okay, I’ll be right back.” He stood and made his way through the crowd.

Kat helped Win to his feet and stood there, letting him lean on her.

The sheriff walked over and handed Win his hat. “Want to tell me what happened, boy?”

Kat felt Win stiffen and glared up at the sheriff. “Why are you asking him? Why not ask the men who were beating on him for no reason?”

The sheriff put his hand on the butt of his gun. “What is your name?”

  “Kat Evans.”

“Well, Miss Evans, did you see what happened here or did you come in at the end just in time to assault our blacksmith?”

Kat bit her tongue when Win’s fingers tightened at her waist. “I did not assault anybody. I protected myself when your blacksmith threatened to tan my britches.”

The sheriff chuckled, picked up his hat, and raked his fingers through his hair. “Well, I can certainly understand how the idea came to him. I’d probably enjoy heating up the seat of them man’s pants myself.”

Kat opened her mouth to let him have it when his hands raised in surrender. “I’m not saying he had the right to do such a thing, but I can see how he was tempted. Looks to me like he’s been punished enough for his mistake.”

She looked over and saw the man in question, sitting on the ground holding a handkerchief to his bloody nose.

Win straightened and pulled away from Kat. “All I did was hand the clerk in the Feed and Seed a list from my boss. Them other two came out of the back room and told him my money was no good and I needed to learn my place.” He glanced at the water. “Reckon they thought my place was underwater.”

“Boy, you shouldn’t even be here. You know you’re supposed to be on the reservation. You need to get on home now and leave these decent folks alone.”

Kat opened her mouth and grunted when Win placed his hand over her lips. “I’m leaving now, Sheriff, and I promise I won’t be back.”
