My plan was to weave this story of the huntress, hunters, and thief-takers throughout the forthcoming Feral: Part II, but when I looked at my outline, I realized the main story had enough moving parts without adding flashbacks to the mix.
So Devil’s Row became a way for me to keep the varcolac world alive and bridge two larger novels.
This book wouldn’t have been possible without some special people: Quinn Korzeniecki, for being the first person to lay eyes on this, and to help me get the manuscript into working shape. Justin Julian for catching some really clunky sentences that would’ve otherwise floated past. Last, but not least, Michelle Serafini for all those late night read-throughs.
All the survivors will return, and the story will continue.
Thanks for sticking with it.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Matt Serafini is the author of Feral, Under the Blade, and Devil’s Row. He also co-authored an eBook collection of short stories with Adam Cesare called All-Night Terror. He is a regular contributor to Dread Central, and you can catch him on their Dinner for Fiends podcast.
Matt lives in Central Massachusetts with his wife, Michelle, where he spends way too much time tracking down obscure slasher movies. When he’s not doing that, he’s hard at work on his next novel.
