As he idled through peak-hour traffic on his way home, Harold couldn’t stop thinking about the email Lisa had sent. The logical reasoning started to seep through, and as someone that always wanted answers, Harold couldn’t help but start to wonder if it were the idea of another man fucking his wife that bothered him, or the fact it would be happening without him being present.
Running through different scenarios in his head, Harold had started to realize that one possible answer to their problems could be to find someone that would fuck his wife for him, and give her the sexual satisfaction that she so clearly needed. However he would want to lay down ground rules, and he would want to be present. He couldn’t help but feel Lisa would be cheating on him if she did this while he wasn’t at home.
As odd as that thought sounded, it made clear sense in Harold’s mind. If Lisa went about this when he was not at home, she would be cheating on him. However, if he was present, then perhaps it could work.
Locking his car behind him as he walked up the pathway to the front door of his house, Harold was shocked when the front door opened in front of him and Lisa was standing there waiting for him. Her hair was still in curlers, and she was wrapped so delicately in the burgundy colored silk gown he had brought for her while on a business trip the previous year.
“Did you read my email?” She asked him before he had even had a chance to step inside the house, but etched in her voice was a slight variation of panic that Harold had never heard before.
“I did,” he stood in the doorway staring at her, trying to fathom what the slight panic was about.
If there hadn’t been the slight inflection of stress in her voice, he would have felt even more harassed about the whole situation. But this caught his curiosity. Why was she worried about the email?
Harold caught sight of her fingers running along the hem of her gown just above her breasts, a little telltale that she was nervous and over thinking something. She didn’t answer him for a moment, and he could tell that she was trying to read him just as he was trying to read her.
They didn’t hide anything from each other, in all their years of marriage, honesty and openness had been something they prided themselves on. But at this very moment, both stood guarded and unsure of the other.
“I umm… You… you didn’t answer it,” she stumbled over her words, the nervousness getting the better of her.
“At first I was disgusted at the thought, so I didn’t bother…” his word trailed off as his wife leaped forward and wrapped her arms around him tightly, pressing her face into his shoulder and sniffing back a few tears.
“Baby I’m so sorry, I’m just desperate, but I love you, and I don’t want you to leave me because of this. You are my everything, I just need…”
“Whoa Lisa… shhh, baby. Relax, calm down,” he squeezed her tightly, cutting off her rambling words to try and soothe her. He couldn’t believe that she had wound herself up so much over this.
In a way, he couldn’t help but let a small smile cross his lips - this apparently meant that she loved him and that she too didn’t want to leave the marriage or destroy it in any fashion. Harold was relieved beyond words. Even though he had failed her as a lover, at least he wasn’t failing her as a loving husband and protector.
“We’ll talk about it ok? It could be an option,” he pulled her back away from her and held her at arm's length for a moment to be able to look at her. Reaching up, he wiped away the tears that had started to form and roll down her cheeks.
“I’m not leaving you, sweetheart. I promise you that,” he pulled her back to himself, leaning down and pressing his lips to her and kissing her softly.
Lisa responded and kissed her husband back with passion and resolve, wrapping her arms around his neck and running her fingers through his hair. His hands rolled down the length of her back and rested on her behind, gently stroking her backside through the silk fabric that covered it.
As their lips parted, Lisa nuzzled into his neck and held her husband close to her. If there was one of the many things she loved about him, it was that she always felt safe and protected in his arms. The love that radiated from the man when he held her was second to none, and she knew that there would be no other man that could replace that feeling.
“I love you,” she whispered into his neck, visibly more relaxed than she had been just a few minutes ago.
“I love you as well,” he squeezed her gently to him, then softly slapped her on the backside. “Come on, we need to get you ready for this dinner tonight. And I promise we’ll talk about this tonight when we get home ok?”
As Lisa pulled back away from him, he couldn’t help but smile as he was met with her own brilliant smile. And those eyes, those beautiful azure blue eyes. The woman was beautiful, mesmerizingly so, there was no denying it. And Harold knew he would do anything to keep her happy and to keep her incredibly large sexual appetite satisfied.
It’s my role as dutiful husband, is it not?
Lisa turned around in his arms, and they walked back into the house with his arms around her waist, and her own resting across his back. Harold wondered if Lisa had any reservations about sleeping with another man, and was she truly ok with it? He knew she was against cheating, they had both made that clear to each other when they were early into the relationship. It seemed she wouldn’t say no to just leaving the problem unsolved, and he admired her in some ways for her tenacity in finding a solution, even though he still made him feel uneasy.
If she was discussing options with him, then he knew for sure that she wasn’t going behind his back. This was the most important thing to Harold. No secrecy. No cheating. He valued her loyalty as much as he valued her love and affection.
Two hours passed, and in that time Harold had showered, shaved and dressed, and was now lounging on the couch watching the daily news while his wife was putting the finishing touches on her makeup and hair.
The doorbell rang, and Harold sat up from his chair and walked into their bedroom to let his wife know that the taxi had arrived to pick them up for dinner. As she walked through the door, his breath was taken away by the woman that stood before him - just as beautiful as the day he had met her.
“Holy shit Lisa. You are simply breathtaking.”
She giggled, turning around to show her gloriously naked back that the black dress revealed for all to see. She flicked her curled blonde hair over her shoulder, wriggled her backside and turned around to fall into his arms.
“Damn straight, this booty’s got it going on,” she teased and cuddled into him closely, still giggling at her sassy actions.
“Mmm, indeed it does,” he nearly purred, running his fingers down the bare skin of her back and drawing small circles just above her hip, pulling her against him. “But we have a taxi waiting, and he’s probably already got the meter running already,” he squeezed her before letting her go, slapping her on the behind as she grabbed her bag and walked in front of him towards the front door.
Harold’s hand did not leave his wife's’ thigh during the trip to the venue, and half way through the journey she started to draw her fingers over his and squeeze his wrist. The definition of a loving couple was certain Harold and Lisa - to any outsider, they were the perfect couple.
He was always attentive to her every need - filling her glass, always touching her whether on the thigh while they were seated, or gently resting on the middle of her back when they were standing. He pulled out the chair for her and pushed it underneath her when she sat at a table, and held her hand going up and down any staircase so she could lift her dress to avoid it being stepped on.
They both whispered sweet nothings into each other's ears, always smiling and laughing at each other’s words and the endless flirting between them was addictive to watch. No one would have guessed the sexual tension between them or the unsatisfied sexual drive that Lisa was trying to keep locked down.
As the night began, Harold lead his beautiful blue eyed, blonde haired wife towards a tall
er African-American man. Lisa knew who it was, she had met him on more than one occasion, and each and every time he would shamelessly hit on her and joke that he should, and could, easily steal her away from Harold.
His name was Bert Gordy. Chairman and CEO of Ironside. The big boss. And Harold’s boss. If there was every a description of an Alpha male, Bert Gordy was it. He oozed confidence and dominance, and a single look from those burning brown eyes would leave you weak-kneed just from the sheer awe of being in his presence.
Lisa was attracted to him, there was no denying it - every woman that met the man was. As it was, he had a redheaded, pale skinned woman and an African-American beauty eating out of his hands and hanging on his every word. They both laughed, throwing their heads back with a hearty laugh as the redhead reached out and touched her hand to his shoulder.
As Harold approached, a wicked smile crossed the CEO’s face as he excused himself from the two woman, both of whom looked instantly hurt and annoyed that his attention was no longer on them.
“Lisa! So wonderful you could join us tonight,” he beamed, reaching out and taking her hand and kissing the back of it before winking at her.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world, Bert, you know that,” she smiled, clearly mesmerized by the man in front of her that commanded such power. She flushed slightly as he kissed her hand, slightly intimidated by the man, but also pleased to see him again.
“Harold. How are we tonight?” Bert asked as he pulled his eyes from the beautiful blonde towards Harold, and instantly the smile that beamed across his face was lost. He was curt and short, clearly not interested in the answer that he would provide, but going through the motions of pleasantries as was expected.
“Good, thank you, Bert. I see everyone accepted the invite?” Harold glanced around the room, noting that the ballroom the company had hired was noticeably full.
“They did. I want you to go and speak with Raymond immediately, he’s been talking about backing out the deal, and I need you to convince him otherwise.”
Straight down to business. Bert was never different, and he was certainly never pleasant with Harold on a day to day basis. The man was hard, demanding and most of all hated losing a client or a deal. At least some solace could be taken in the knowledge that Bert considered Harold to be one of his best Managers and negotiators.
“Of course. Lisa, do you want to join me?”
“No, I need to go and introduce her to Daryl’s wife, who is also an artist. I’m sure you will both have much to talk about, and it will distract Shannon long enough for me to talk with Daryl,” Bert instructed as his hand reached out and took Lisa’s, pulling her away from Harold as he guided her to the opposite side of the ballroom.
Harold sighed as they both turned and left. Of course, he was going to use his wife as a distraction for another client - Daryl was hard to split from his own wife, and his wife was always trying to talk him out of business deals because she felt so uncomfortable with the situation. Distracting her was Bert’s ploy to finalize a deal in a public place so it would be harder for Daryl to turn it down.
The man had business smarts, Harold couldn’t deny it. But he still wasn’t happy losing sight of Lisa so early in the night. Especially to a man that clearly had a way with the ladies, and especially with Lisa so determined to find a way to sexually satisfy herself.
Harold shook his head.
No, there was no way that she would cheat on me, especially with my boss. Surely not.

The night wore on as the band playing throughout. After people had been seated and eaten, Harold was growing more uncomfortable.
Bert Gordy, CEO and Chairman of Ironside, and more importantly, his boss, had seemingly stolen his wife for the night. Using her to woo the single gentleman of the evening, and to distract the wives of those who would always interrupt the business deals. Lisa was a natural. She put on the fake smile, the eyelash flutter, the giggling and fake flirting. Harold knew she did this for him, but there was one man of the evening that the smiles, the laughter, and the flirting didn’t seem to be faked for: Bert Gordy.
It wasn’t until nearly the end of the night that Harold was able to detach himself from the myriad of current and potential business clients to steal the hand of his wife. He could see she was worn out from the socializing of the night, but as she turned towards him, she seemed relieved to see him.
“Hey baby, I missed you,” she cooed into his ear as she pressed up against him, cuddling close to him.
Harold wrapped his arms around her tightly and gave her a gentle squeeze. There was nothing more comforting to him than having her in his arms.
“Missed you too sweetheart. Good night?” He rested his lips just by her ear, whispering to her so their conversation could be a little more private in such a public setting.
“Very. I have something I want to talk to you about later tonight,” she hummed, pressing herself against her husband in a subtle but provocative way.
Harold was curious. Does this have to do with her email earlier in the day? During the night, Harold had given the option a lot of thought in between talking with clients and networking with the rest of the company. It was clear that Lisa’s mind wasn’t far from the idea all night as well.
“Let’s get the hell out of here then,” he planted a kiss against her ear, and then looked up towards Bert who was clearly watching Lisa and eyeing the nakedness of her back that her dress revealed.
“Bert. We’re off for the evening,” Harold called out to his boss.
Bert walked over and grabbed Harold’s hand, shaking it a single time before turning to Lisa. Leaning in, he kissed her on both cheeks, and she returned the same.
“Don’t forget what we talked about,” he spoke as he smiled and pulled away from her.
Harold looked at his wife with a quiet question in his green eyes. What had they discussed? And why should she remember it? Surely business hadn’t been discussed between them.
As they left the building, Harold stepped forward and opened the door of the taxi, helping his wife into the vehicle before gently closing the door and walking around the other side to get in. His hand instantly found her thigh and squeezed there gently, as her own hand rested on top of his.
“I think I’ve found a solution to our problem!” She could hardly contain her excitement as she turned to face her husband. Her blue eyes sparkled like they always did when she was excited about something, like a young child surrounded by presents on Christmas morning.
Harold glanced up at the taxi driver before looking back to his wife, already he felt like this wasn’t the place for the discussion he felt was about to happen.
“Maybe you can hold off the surprise for a few minutes?” He smiled, trying to fake a little sincerity and hide the nervousness that started to flutter across his chest.
Thankfully she agreed, although by the time they reached the front door she was practically vibrating with glee. She also hadn’t released his hand since they had climbed into the taxi together and he had walked her to the front door. As he turned around after the locking the door, Lisa grabbed both of his hands and jiggled on the spot with a smile that would have lit up the entirety of New York City alone.
“Bert!”
Harold started at his wife for a moment, his right eyebrow lifting in question at the sudden outburst of his boss’s name.
“Bert?” He asked in reply.
“Yes! Bert!”
“What about him my love?”
Harold ran his thumb over the knuckles of her hands, slowly putting the pieces together in his mind from the night's events. This had to be something to do with what his boss had mentioned earlier in the night about not forgetting what they had discussed.
“Forget about the escort thing,
which was ridiculous. I don’t want to sleep with a man I don’t know, it would be… too weird.”
Harold took a slow, deliberately long breath. He realized where this was going at a rapid rate, and he wasn’t sure how he felt about it all. Over the many years working as a manager, he had learned to control his reactions, but this was the biggest test of all to not let slip his feelings.
He swallowed hard, licking his lips before he could speak. “And… you want Bert… to be this man?”
It took every ounce of self-control to form the words with a quiet and gentle tone, allowing the feeling of her soft hands within his to be a distraction to keep his mind from racing at a hundred miles per minute.
“It’s perfect Harold. I know him very well from all the business meetings I attend with you. And well frankly, he’s a complete stud of a man, and it seems he is only interested in sex with no attachments. It won’t complicate things.”
