We quietly went to the shower and brushed our teeth and headed to our room, yes I just called it our room. I knew it was his house, but I felt like it was our room now. We slipped into some clothes and headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I knew this was going to be another great day. Chase’s Mom and Dad both said how proud they were of us and our future plans and we all enjoyed the nice dinner and cookies.

We ate and Jacki had to head out to her next shoot.

I headed home and then I texted Chase so he would see it on his next break: “Double date movie night at my house tonight at 7”

I texted Mom since she was at work and asked her: “Want me to cook anything for dinner? Planned a movie night at home with Chase, Conner, and Mikayla.”
Mom said: “Cook a pizza, Dad won’t be home tonight. He is teaching a class for his work at their corporate office in Georgia.”

I woke up a little after 8 am and started my day.

I took two steps inside the pool area and I could feel Chase watching me. He had on dark sunglasses and red swimming trunks and was looking extra hot on his lifeguard stand.

my locker. She sat down by me and took off her sundress. We soaked up some sunshine and talked until we were so hot, we needed to take a dip in the pool to cool off. I loved times like these. We spent about 4 hours in the pool and lounging on the poolside.
We walked to the locker room and I finally checked my phone. Jacki texted earlier and said she was busy with photoshoots until sunset. I figured that was why she didn’t show up at the pool.
I texted her back: “We missed you today, but I bet you are getting some awesome outdoor shots today.”
I slipped my phone back in my bag and decided to change into my sundress and cowboy boots. I braided my hair and popped back out to the lifeguard stand.
I said, “Hey Chase, what time do you get off?”
He chuckles and winked at me. Then he said, “In 30 minutes.”
I said, “Perfect, meet us at the Pizza Shack for dinner! It will be Mikayla, Conner, Jacki, Chris and us!”
Chase kissed me and I headed out to my car to go get us a table at the Pizza Shack. Mikayla went over to Conner’s house and waited for him to get home from the rodeo. Jacki texted that she was on her way to the Pizza Shack and Chris gets off work just in time to join us. Everything fell into place. I loved my life.
