Static Page 24

by Witt, L. A.

As I went through the edits, I realized this book had been a subconscious way to process everything Jules had taught me. It wasn’t a textbook, just a way of applying all the information to people and a situation so that I could make sense of it all. I still have tons and tons to learn, but by the time I finished Static, I had a much deeper and more empathetic understanding of people whose gender identity doesn’t fall into the culturally accepted binary of male-bodied men and female-bodied women. I hope my readers can take away the same understanding and, of course, enjoy the story as well.

And this is why Static is, and always will be, for Jules.

L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
