“Baby, I need you. I want you.” She moaned. Strange emotions running through her, making her teary eyed.
Nick stood, gazing down at her.
“Emmy, I’m going to make love to you, right now.”
“Yes.” She whispered, a new wave of arousal hitting her.
Nick walked her backwards, removing his shirt and undoing his pants.
He walked until he reached his chair, turning them both so he could sit.
“Sit on me.” He requested, his thick erection standing to attention, waiting for Emily to take her pleasure.
Nick’s hands caressed her bare back as she mounted him. The chair wide enough that she could place her knees either side of him.
Emily lifted herself up and, once lined up, she slowly lowered herself down onto him, taking all of him in.
“That’s so fucking good.” He groaned, his head falling back.
Emily stroked his jaw as she raised a couple of inches, then pressed down onto him. Again and again, her breasts pressing against his hard chest as their bodies moulded together.
She felt herself getting close to the edge. Her slow movements allowing her to feel everything. Letting her focus on every single sensation that he created inside of her.
“You’re so beautiful.” Nick stroked her hair back.
“I love you so much, Nick.”
“I love you too. My Emmy.”
Emily kissed him, tasting herself on his lips. Nick’s hips pushed up, filling her even more and her breath caught when he hit her end.
Suddenly Nick stood, lifting her with him, lying her on the cold desk, her overheated skin welcoming the cool wood beneath her.
Lifting her legs, she crossed her ankles over his lower back as he lazily rocked into her, pushing in until he could go no further. The feeling overwhelming as every part of her was filled entirely.
Nick’s hand gripped her thigh before stroking up the length of her body. Up to her shoulder, her arm and reaching behind his neck to her hand. Locking their fingers together he brought her hand to the table, repeating with the other.
Her arms above her head and her breasts bouncing with each thrust, Emily cried out in pleasure.
Nick’s movements were deep, unhurried and hit all of her spots every time he filled her.
“I’m going to make you scream, Emmy. I don’t want you to be quiet. I want to hear you.”
“Oh, Nick. Don’t stop. It’s so good.”
“I know. You feel fucking incredible.” He panted.
Emily could tell he was on the border of losing control, his cock expanding inside her.
He continued his slow and deep penetrations. Making love to her carefully, lovingly, selflessly.
Emily’s body jerked, readying for eruption.
Nick dropped his head and clamped his mouth around her nipple, before moving to the other and sucking into his mouth,
“Nick… I’m going to… Oh baby. Oh God!” her voice raised in pitch and her eyes fluttered. Her back arched and her core tightened, her stomach contracting with the force.
“Nick! Agh!” She screamed in ecstasy, stars clouding her vision.
“Emmy!” Nick howled, still moving at the same controlled pace. His cock jerking and releasing his cum inside her.
“Holy shit!” Emily gasped as another orgasm tore through her as Nick’s cock continued to pump.
He turned his head into her neck, kissing her and gently releasing her hands.
She wrapped her arms around him, her legs relaxing from their tight grip on him.
Gradually coming to a stop, Nick panted as he rested on her.
“That was phenomenal.” She sighed, blissfully.
Nick nodded, unable to speak his breaths were so heavy.
“You kept your promise.” She moaned happily.
“I did.” He managed to say. “And it was fucking fantastic.”
Nick lifted up onto his hands, his semi hard length still inside her.
“I’m so lucky to have you.” He whispered.
“I’m the lucky one.”
“We’re both lucky.” He smiled, dipping down to kiss her lips. “Let’s go.”
Cleaning themselves up and then dressing, Nick took Emily out for dinner before taking her home to his apartment and, of course, she ordered omelette.
The next morning, Emily wasn’t sick and she was happy.
It must have been her body not liking that particular melon. Nick was fine so it couldn’t have been off.
Weird.
The other times Emily had been sick, she decided was because of the horrible feelings she had when she’d misunderstood Nick’s good intentions.
During the weekend, however, Emily had vomited again but she’d also developed a headache that hadn’t gone away.
What was worse was it had carried on at work. She’d had to run into the bathroom, she shared with Diane, to throw up.
She hated migraines. She hadn’t had one for years and not one that had made her sick.
“Honey, you should see a doctor.” Diane said when she’d exited the bathroom for the second time that afternoon.
“It’s just a migraine, Di. It’ll go away on its own.”
She turned to her desk and saw Nick was closing the blinds, darkening the room.
It was autumn but the sun was still bright and it hurt her eyes.
Her monitor dimmed automatically, adjusting to the darkness.
“Babe, you shouldn’t be here like this.”
Nick had cared for her throughout her weekend headache. Painkillers had helped so much and when the pain had subsided, she pounced. Her appetite for Nick hadn’t declined in her illness.
She’d sucked on him, ridden him, and had even stripped him on his stairs because she couldn’t wait to get up to his bedroom. She was in a constant state of arousal around him.
“I don’t want to leave you.” She said, and she didn’t.
“It’s making you worse, Emmy.” He said, soothingly. “I tell you what, come and lie on my sofa for a while, ok?”
Emily agreed and he led her through. She lay down and closed her eyes.
Nick sat next to her and stroked her hair.
“Baby, I’m worried about you. Can I call Evie now?”
Nick had wanted to call her straight away, even though she didn’t have a high temperature with her headache. He looked so worried and Emily felt guilty that he was spending his time off stuck inside with her whilst she puked.
Even so, she knew that if he called Evie, Alex’s Mum and a doctor, she knew her own Mum would find out and then there’d be people coming round and she didn’t want the fuss.
“No, babe. I’ll be fine, honestly. I’ve just got a migraine. It feels like it’s getting better.”
He’s so good to me.
Emily sighed happily, her lids growing heavy, sleep pulling her under.
*****
“Emmy, wake up. Baby, it’s time to go.” Nick said, gently shaking Emily’s shoulder.
“How long have I been asleep?” she asked, opening her gorgeous blue eyes.
“A couple of hours. How do you feel?”
“That long! I’m so sorry.”
“Shh, I wanted you to rest. Do you feel ok?”
“A little better, thanks.”
“Good.” He blew out a breath. “Let’s get you home.”
Nick was worried but he didn’t want Emily to see how much. He didn’t want her to worry about him, worrying about her.
It was the third, out of four days, that Emily had been sick. Her face was pale and she looked tired. The pain from her migraine and the vomiting taking it out of her. If she hadn’t seduced him at every opportunity, when she’d felt a little better, he would’ve sworn she was seriously ill and rushed her to hospital.
He took her home to her place, so she was closer to her family if she needed them. Once inside, he ran the shower for her.
“You’re too good to me.” She gushed when he wrapped her in a warm towel.
“You’d do it for me too, Emmy.” He smiled, watching as her eyes sparkled when she looked at him.
“Yes I would.” She grinned as he helped her dry.
“Come on, get into bed and I’ll bring you something to eat. Are you hungry?”
She must have been starving with the amount of times she’d thrown up.
“No. This headache is making me feel sick. I’ll make you something though, baby.”
Nick was having none of that. Emily was going to get in bed and she was going to rest.
Much to her protests, she gave in and got under her covers, passing her the stuffed kitty before he went into the kitchen to make food for himself.
He returned with some crackers and water, hoping that something simple would settle her stomach.
If she throws up again, I’m taking her to the hospital even if I have to tie her down in the fucking car!
He wasn’t going to tell her that his worry had gone into overdrive and he was going out of his mind. Whatever it was, that she had, hadn’t passed to him which made him even more concerned that it could be something serious.
After sitting for an hour, Emily had kept the food in her stomach and she drifted off to sleep. Nick brushed his thumb across the dark circles under her eyes. She needed a lot of rest and he crept around trying not to wake her.
After his own shower, he got into bed and cuddled next to her, carefully placing his palm on her forehead. He couldn’t feel any signs of a fever, which was good, but it made him wonder why she was so ill.
“Mmmm. My Nick.” She said in her sleep, pulling herself into him breathing deeply as she turned her face into his neck.
His heart ached with love for her, knowing she loved him back just as much. He really hoped she would get better soon. He didn’t want to wait any longer to change their relationship status, and the possibility for the future, but discussing it in her state wasn’t something he wanted to do.
As Emily slept, Nick wrapped his arms around her warm body, hoping that he’d be able to sleep himself. The terrifying visions of Emily’s sickness getting worse, running through his mind keeping him awake.
Nick woke to the sound of Emily heaving in the bathroom.
“Emmy!” He called, rushing into the room.
“I’m ok.” She assured him. “My headache has almost gone but I stupidly drank some juice a bit too fast and brought it up. I’m sorry for waking you, babe.”
“Don’t be silly.” He said, sighing with relief that she was better than the previous day. “I’m glad you’re ok.” He stroked her hair, kissing the top of her head, not caring that it was over the toilet.
“I feel a hell of a lot better.” She said with a weak smile. The dark circles, not as bad, but still there under her eyes.
“Emmy, you don’t know how happy that makes me.” He said. “I hate seeing you sick.”
“You shouldn’t worry. You’ll only make yourself ill.”
“I can’t help it, babe. I love you. You’re everything to me.”
He saw Emily’s lip quiver and her eyes filled, tears falling over her cheeks.
“Emmy, why are you crying?” He asked softly, holding her to him.
“I don’t deserve you.” She sobbed. “You’re so sweet and perfect and…”
“Emmy.” He interrupted her. “You’re a sweet, caring and amazingly beautiful person. Do you think I’d be here if I thought you weren’t?”
She shook her head between his hands as he cupped her face.
“Exactly. I love you… all of you, the kind and the crazy you.”
“I love you so much.” She sniffled. “I don’t know why I’m crying.” She laughed, making Nick laugh too.
“Are you hungry?” He asked. “I’ll make you some crêpes if you’d like.”
“I’m starving!”

Chapter 23
Getting into work, Emily felt better. She hadn’t thrown up her breakfast and she hadn’t attempted to have anything she knew had turned her stomach over the past week. She still wasn’t sure what had caused her illness but she wasn’t about to test anything out until she was one hundred percent better.
“You look brighter today!” chirped Diane.
“Thanks, Di. I’m a lot better than I was. I think I’m over the worst.”
“Do you want a drink?” Nick asked beside her.
“I’ll get you one.” She said. “You’ve done more than enough for me.”
That was a complete understatement. As soon as Emily realised her stomach was ok, she’d used that sign as the go-ahead to satisfy her other needs. Her ‘let’s get Nick naked’ needs.
“Emily?” She heard Diane say.
“Hmm? Sorry, I was miles away.” She blushed and Nick chuckled under his breath.
“I wonder where.” Diane said, sarcastically.
Emily shrugged her shoulders innocently.
“I know exactly where.” Nick whispered when they walked further away.
“I plan on visiting again very soon.” She countered, glancing at his crotch and Nick licked his lips, his pupils dilating.
She realised it was a mistake doing that as soon as she did it. She was back in full arousal mode and her nipples popped out, letting Nick know the state she was in already.
“It’s fucking hot that you want me so bad.” He said in a low tone. The rumbling sound finding its way into her underwear. “I want you just as much, babe.” He added, kissing her tenderly.
“I can’t help it.” She breathed, keeping her voice quiet so Diane wouldn’t pick up on their intimate conversation.
“Neither can I, my angel.”
Nick kissed her once more before turning into his office.
Grabbing a mug, Emily poured him some coffee and took it to him.
“Here you go, sir.” She winked.
Nick growled and swatted her arse as she turned.
“I’ll get you for that.” She threatened.
“I’m counting on it.” He shot back, a promise of things to come flashing in his eyes.
Emily bit her lip, suggestively. Nick squirmed in his seat, uncomfortably, and they decided it was best to get to work before the pair of them combusted.
“Can I possibly borrow you at lunch?” Diane asked, fifteen minutes before actual lunchtime.
“Um…” Emily turned to Nick.
She didn’t want to leave. They’d been having their lunch together, when she could keep it down, and it was the part of the working day she looked forward to when she could be close to him without reports and meetings getting in the way.
“Just today, honey. The girls have been asking how you are and asked if you’d join us for lunch today.”
“It’s ok, Emmy. I have a ton of things to do anyway. You have fun with the girls.” Nick said.
Emily saw a look pass between Nick and Diane and she wondered if they were up to something.
What’s going on?
She knew it couldn’t be bad. Neither of them would do anything like that to her.
“Ok. A quick lunch.” She agreed.
“Let’s go now.” Diane said and picked up Emily’s bag and hurrying her out of her seat.
“Not so fast Di.” Nick stopped her. “I need to kiss my woman.”
Nick took Emily’s breath away when he wrapped his arm around her waist, and the other around her back, his hand holding her head.
He held her close and tilted her head, kissing her. His tongue swirled around hers, languorously, as he tasted her. His lips smoothly gliding over hers.
When he released her, she blinked a few times to clear her cloudy brain.
“I love you.” He said.
“Huhhhhhh” she said shakily, making him grin like a little boy. “I love you too.” She swallowed hard and he removed his arms from around her. She wanted them back. To be held by him again.
“Come on, Sweetie. The girls are waiting.”
“Bye, baby.” Nick waved.
“I’ll be
back soon.” She promised; Diane pulling her away and into the lift.
“That was beautiful.” Diane gushed when the doors closed. “You two are so in love.” She wiped a small tear from the corner of her eye.
“We are.” Emily sighed.
The lift doors opened onto the first floor, where the restaurant was situated, and the different aromas made her stomach churn.
Oh please not again!
Taking their seats with the others, Emily was asked a bunch of questions about her relationship with Nick and how wonderful it was. They asked about her illness, saying it could be stomach flu, but Emily couldn’t concentrate. Her headache was returning and her stomach was rolling.
“Honey, are you ok?” Julie asked
No. Emily was not ok. She hadn’t yet eaten her lunch but her insides told her that something was coming back anyway.
Jumping out of her seat, her hand over her mouth, Emily dashed to the bathroom and brought up her breakfast.
She knew she wasn’t better, after all, and she needed to stop putting it off and find out why her stomach flu, as the girls had suggested, hadn’t gone. There was a pharmacy across the street and she made the decision to speak to the chemist to see if they could give her something over the counter.
“Sweetie are you ok?” Diane asked.
“Yes, I thought I was over it but I guess I’m not. Anyway, I’m sorry to have to leave but I’m going to go to the pharmacy and see if they can give me anything. I’ll go back to the office when I’m done.”
She didn’t give them time to protest, or offer to go with her. She picked up her bag and walked out as fast as she could.
*****
Nick’s plan was in place. Emily was feeling better and he had worked out what he was going to say to her that night.
He’d gone over it a thousand times in his head, just to make sure there was no possible way she would misinterpret what he was telling her. What he wanted from her. He only hoped she did too.
