Corsair Cove Page 42

by Angela Ashton

Jack had inquired as to how she survived the fatal plunge into the sea.

“I, er…was rescued by another ship,” she’d lied.

  “The truth, Esa.”

  “You wouldn’t believe me.”

“Oh? Try me.” His brows lifted in challenge and she could have sworn there was a knowing smile lurking behind those glorious dark eyes.

They say all things happen for a reason. And Esa and Jack Rafeull were firm believers.

Lost souls chosen by Time, seemingly thrown together by Chance…

Reunited by Fate, to be mated for all eternity by Destiny.

Her soul mate had come forth at a time when she needed him most…and she’d gone back, in turn, in his time of desperation. Had she not intervened with King Louis on his behalf, she was certain he would have died at the hands of the proud ruler. And had he not washed up on the beach, she might never have known him in this lifetime and been doomed to a life of loneliness and rejection.

Her devoted pirate prince had battled the hands of time and stepped from beyond her realm of dreams to stand beside her forevermore.

  About The Author

As a young child, Angela Ashton began fabricating stories and pulling anyone that would listen into her world of fantasy. Her love of the written language and reading lead to the yearning to write a novel...which finally took shape in Feb. of 2002. A devotee of Scottish historicals, time-travel and paranormal romances brought forth her first labor of love, “Amulet of Fate”. Since that time, she’d dreamed and penned ideas for many other manuscripts. She lives in the mid-west with her family.
