Come a Little Closer, If You Dare (Love's Command Book 5)

He let loose of the bar and grabbed her long hair, trying for gentle but way too gone to be certain that he was. With a firm grip, he kept her head in place and fucked in and out of her mouth so that spot got all the attention she could give it. She gave it, too. She tightened her lips so that each time he fucked in and back out those silky lips bumped that spot.
“Oh, hell,” he warned, feeling like he’d just crossed a line that needed him to push farther back. “Let me, Sonya. Let me…”
She dropped her hands to his thighs to hold onto him and sat back so he could rear up and thrust more rapidly into her mouth. Her breasts bobbed with his quick strokes, making him wild. He was so close, the urge to come so intense he clenched his hands on the bench, trying to slow down.
“Grip it and suck it again, hard like that,” he told her breathlessly.
She took him in both hands around the thick base and sucked so hard his eyes rolled back in his head at how good it felt. She didn’t stop there but quickened her pace, making him nearly blow, then released him with a loud gasp. Before he knew what she was about, she had one of his balls in her hot mouth.
“Holy fuck, yeah, what are you doing to me?” he shouted, holding her hair tightly so she didn’t stop.
The sensation was insane. He’d never had a woman do such a thing. It was so good that he gripped the base with his free hand and stroked up and down to the rhythm of her hungry sucks. She popped his ball free then licked a hungry path to the other. A low, agonized sounding groan escaped at the gentle suction on the sensitive skin.
“So good, holy hell, darling,” he yelled when she smoothed her hand up to roll over the broad head. “Coming… Going to come!”
She pulled free of the ball play and shoved his hand aside. Suddenly she sucked down his cock, moaning as she did. The vibration had him shouting. That merely encouraged her to do it again, faster and harder. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t breathe. Sonya had him wound so tight he could barely keep his eyes open. Her breasts bounced on his thighs and her hands moved faster at his cock stroking him so well he went dizzy.
He was caught on the edge but frozen in that moment of ecstasy before the blow-out. Perfect, so perfect.
Sonya sucked up and down faster and louder, clearly trying to kill him with the orgasm building in his balls.
“That’s it. That’s it. You’re going to make me come in that hot mouth,” he warned.
Sonya moaned with her mouth full of him and met his eyes with a heated, lust-filled expression. She wanted that. She was giving him that, he realized with a suddenness that had him widening his thighs even more to give her every drop. His muscles bunched up then began trembling. His ass tightened and he let loose.
“Coming,” he managed. He blew, spurting repeatedly into her mouth with such a powerful orgasm that he was groaning loud enough so he couldn’t hear her hungrily sucking up every drop.
Her eyes never left his face and the knowledge that she wanted him coming unglued for her drove him harder and harder. Finally with a shout, he held her warm head in his hands to slow her down and fell back against the shower wall as if someone had just removed every muscle in his body.
“Ruined. I’m ruined,” he managed breathlessly, wanting to tell her how fucking amazing that was but unable to form the words.
He was in absolute heaven. Sonya didn’t spit him out or pull away in disgust at him coming in her mouth—she sucked softly up and down, as if knowing he was super sensitive but unwilling to stop from savoring every bit of the experience.
He gasped when she slipped free, only to suck back down gently.
“So good, so good, Sonya,” he whispered, sounding as insane with the pleasure as he felt.
When he could breathe again without groaning, he lifted his head. Their eyes met and he knew, absolutely knew what he wanted. He sat up, pulling her to him so quickly that she let out a squeal. It didn’t matter, he took her lips in a blazing kiss and laid her down on the bench. He let her go with one hand and blindly reached over and shut off the warm water, then he released her lips only to settle between her thighs to give her a different kiss.
“Oh, God, Cody!”
He loved that. How she didn’t hold back. He also loved how she lifted her legs and wrapped them over his shoulders to give him more room while she grabbed handfuls of his hair.
“Yeah, that’s it. Now let’s make sure you’re good and ready for what I want the rest of the night,” he growled and lifted from her long enough to meet her eyes. “I’m going to wake you up making love to you, Sonya. You’re going to wake to my cock sliding in. You like that idea?”
Her expression went from surprise to one hot, happy woman.
“I like,” she said and, without even a hint of shame, lifted her pussy for his lips and fell back on the shower bench with a moan. “Oh, God, do I like, but more, Cody.”
He laughed and pressed her tiny lips open to lick gently along her clit. “Yes, ma’am, how about much more?” he teased and got a heavy groan for a response. It was enough.
He was in heaven. Sweet silkiness met his tongue and he wasn’t going to stop until he’d wrung orgasm after orgasm from her.
Chapter Ten
Sonya woke with the warm, solid weight of an aroused man settling over her and pressing her legs open. A shiver of anticipation rushed through her, even as she dragged her legs along his velvety ribs. He caressed her shoulder down to her arm and threaded their fingers together in a gentle grip. Hot kisses glided along her throat up to her lips and brushed featherlight over her mouth.
“Good morning,” he murmured, smelling like fresh mint and clean soap. He’s brushed his teeth? The thoughtfulness made her smile.
“Good morning,” she whispered, worried that she’d not had time to brush her teeth for a second, then found herself kissed by a man who knew exactly how to wake her up right. If her morning breath was a problem, he didn’t seem to care.
His slow, easy perusal of her mouth was so at odds with the heavy, insistent weight of his erection jutting against her stomach. The feel of it made her anxious for what she knew Cody could give her. With a shiver, she deepened the kiss. Silky, still damp hair filled her fingers and she tangled her hands up in it to pull his head down closer for a longer taste of him. He’d showered again, which meant that he’d gotten up and back in bed without her knowing. The reality of that should have freaked her out, but all she could concentrate on was the warm, solid weight of him. He deepened the kiss and settled more firmly over her. Every ounce of her brain seemed to shut down as the exquisite pleasure of Cody kissing her took over. He didn’t merely kiss her. He stroked his hands down her body, rubbed his long, lean muscles along hers, and even grazed his legs along hers. She swore every inch of her mouth and body was caressed into a hyper-awareness colored with such lust she couldn’t stand it but never wanted him to stop.
Cody. He kissed like no one she’d ever met. He didn’t just kiss her to warm her up for fun. He kissed her because he seemed to love to.
She rubbed her leg along his velvety smooth ribs and gasped in pleasure when he thrust his big cock along her stomach. He must have found the lube she’d brought with her because she could feel the slippery slide as he ground his hips against her. She wasn’t sure if she was shocked more by his sneakiness, or the realization that with lube, they could also explore those other areas he wanted. The thought made her breasts grew heavy and sensitive against the rough hair on his chest.
One of those sexy groans erupted from him when she teased her hand over his hot ass. Almost immediately, the devil cupped his hand under her butt, squeezing her flesh firmly His muscles tensed, but instead of moving to take her, he seemed bent on making her insane for him by teasing her with brushes of his fingers along her ass while he subtly rubbed his erection against her.
He felt so good, taking his time like this that she didn’t want it to stop. She smoothed her hands from his hair down his warm back, exploring every muscle and ridge of him while he made lo
ve to her. There was no urgency, no rush to find completion. As that sank in, she settled under him, more than willing to let him set the pace.
As if sensing it, Cody slowed his kisses but he couldn’t possibly keep the heat between them banked for long. Gradually his caresses became more urgent and he began to move lower, getting ready to penetrate her—she knew by the way his stiff erection hardened even more. She was ready, so ready that she was breathless and he hadn’t done anything more than kiss her.
With a low groan, he lined himself up with his hips and pressed into her with one firm, exquisite thrust, as if he belonged. Maybe he did, she thought with a sleepy sigh at how good he felt spreading her for his possession.
From the first thrust he didn’t give her time to think or ease into his passion. He stroked harder, grunting with each firm lunge of his hips. His warm muscles tightened and flexed with each roll of his hips, driving her hotter each time they smacked together.
She hung onto his shoulders, so turned on she couldn’t breathe properly. He was building up to such a frenzied pace that she could tell he was close by the pleasure-filled groans growing louder and longer as he bucked into her.
“Sonya,” he moaned.
She opened her eyes and found him watching her face with a hungry expression. She caressed down his back to clench her hands on his hard ass. His rhythmic drive turned uneven.
She widened her thighs to urge him on.
“Sonya, damn,” he moaned, tightening his grip on her, sounding like he was seconds away from coming.
“Come for me, Cody,” she said, sounding husky from all the climaxes he’d had her screaming through last night.
“Hell, yeah,” he grunted and began a harder, faster rhythm that had the headboard hitting the wall. Seconds later she felt him beginning to shudder. His cock swelled and with a longer moan. He tightened his hand on hers and hot cum heated her deep inside.
“Cody,” she breathed, feeling her own orgasm beginning to tingle around his hard erection. “God that feels so good,” she moaned.
He was lodged so deep that his pelvis was pressed hard to hers. When he subtly ground down and dipped his head to her neck, she felt like she might explode from his hot breath on her throat alone. He was clearly in the middle of an amazing climax. He pushed into her as if he was digging his toes into the bed, but the move tilted her hips and with a gasp, she joined him in a long, mind-blowing orgasm.
“Oh, hell, yes.” Cody thrust deeper, keeping himself there and pressing into her perfectly so her legs began to tremble.
“Shit, shit, shit,” she sobbed, feeling her climax grow wild until the room was spinning from what he was doing to her.
When the world straightened, Cody was watching her face with that shit-eating grin that she knew meant he thought he’d just rocked her world.
Trouble was that he had.
“So hot, firecracker,” he murmured, kissing her lips once more.
He lifted up and pulled from her, making her smile when his arms shook as if she’d worn him out.
“Gotta go find some cows. You gonna sleep?”
“What time is it?” she asked, feeling all flushed with fever and so relaxed that she didn’t want to move.
“Little after four,” he murmured, kissing a path along her shoulder blade. “I’m running late, but I thought you’d appreciate that.”
She curled up on her side. “Go. I’m appreciatively sleeping.”
“Smart ass,” he grumbled, brushed a kiss to her cheek then she felt him leave the bed, humming some song under his breath as he got dressed. Crazy cowboy. She heard him talking to Blue, then the door opened and quietly closed behind him. For some reason, she felt tightness in her throat as the house settled around her.
She knew he’d be back.
She hugged the pillow he’d used last night, smelling him on the soft cotton. Slowly she eased into sleep, feeling so good over it that she felt as if she was floating.
He’ll be back.

Cody struggled through the day without Sonya. It was hard, too. She was addictive. And it wasn’t just the sex. He kept thinking that as if he was explaining to himself but he wasn’t. It was her. He needed to convince her.
The way she’d sighed happily when he slipped inside her this morning… That kind of thing didn’t happen when there wasn’t something more to a couple than sex.
“Couple?” he muttered. “What are you saying? You met her yesterday.”
Jasper barked next to him—whether he agreed or didn’t, Cody didn’t know. He glanced around the pass he’d stopped in and fisted his hand on his thigh. The telltale sign that he was losing his mind. Why the hell do some heifers matter? His knuckles popped and he had to force himself to release his clenched fist. Idiot. I’m an idiot. Out here, trying to secure cattle instead of a woman a man only meets once in a lifetime—if I’m lucky.
The mountains around him were stark, jagged and rough with hundreds—if not thousands—of years of weathering. It was a wild, untamed land where people survived harsh conditions.
Sonya. Does she fit here?
He rubbed his neck. The cows were who knew where. Even if the cows were up here, he wasn’t finding them today. For all he knew, Troy could have been lying his ass off just to get him out of the house. Would she even like his tiny house? He hadn’t cleaned in ages. Hell, maybe years.
What did he have to give a beautiful woman like that?
The clatter of stones falling drew his attention from the thoughts running circle in his head. Jasper barked again and started wagging his tail as if he’d just discovered a new friend. The young dog, Blue, crawled out from under a bush on his left, answering the question of why Jasper was so happy.
“Aw, hell in a hand basket.” He smacked his hat on his thigh and gave them both dirty looks. “What the hell? Why didn’t you tell me this pup was following us?”
Jasper hung his head at least but the puppy wiggled like crazy, clearly never having been yelled at before. Sonya would be worried. He was hours away, too.
“Hell,” he grumbled. Not the impression he wanted to make.
Suddenly what he had here hit him. He had his perfect excuse, didn’t he? All because of a pup, too. He’d go, and he’d stay until he had Sonya figured out. No more cow hunting or anything else—just her.
Just Sonya.
The relief that gave him should have made him worry, but instead he felt as if a weight had just lifted off his shoulders. He dismounted, gathered the pup and set her down on the back of his horse against the bedroll.
“Stay there,” he said and whistled for Jasper. His dog jumped up, and his horse stomped his foot. “You’re fine. Two more won’t hurt.”
Blue wiggled her way to falling off—nearly. He caught her and sighed. There was no way the youngster was staying put without him holding her. She licked his chin as if in agreement. Giving in, he mounted with the pup under his arm, then settled her on his lap. She licked his hands in a wiggly storm of puppy love and got Jasper all worked up but finally, like pups were known to do, she grew quiet and fell dead asleep.
“Hell,” he muttered but didn’t mind as much as he put on. The dog was cute. Besides, Sonya was going to be thankful to see him. No doubt she’d worried over the dog all day.
Two hours and some change later he rode up with the wiggling pup squirming to get down. He kept hold of her until he dismounted, then let her jump down from his arms. Jasper followed with a nip at her for getting so much attention, no doubt.
“What have you been thinking?” Sonya shouted before he’d even registered that she’d come out of the cabin. She threw her arms up like she had last night when he didn’t want to drop his jeans for her. “She’s a puppy! You had her walking on her poor paws all day! She’s been gone all day. Walking? How could you?”
Sonya mad as hell and chewing his ass off shouldn’t have made him grin. No doubt she was one tough woman. He knew that, but in some kind of cute pink T-shirt and cut-off
jean shorts she was just smoking hot.
“Is something funny?” she demanded.
She was breathless from yelling at him, which was another reason not to grin, but damn, with the way her chest rose and fell he considered he might have to make her angry a bit more often. Or breathless, he added with a glance at her fiery green eyes.
“No, ma’am,” he said and coughed into his fist when he got her disdainful expression. She sniffed and anchored her hands on her hips to stare him down. He relented.
“I didn’t know she’d followed me,” he offered. “I found out a few hours ago. She’s fine. She rode up here, once I showed her how.”
“What? On your horse?” she bent and scooped Blue up, letting her kiss her face as she examined her paws for damage. “Did that mean man take you on a cow hunt?” she whispered loud enough that everyone in the vicinity could hear.
He loosened his horse’s girth and walked him over to the side so he could tether him and feed him. “I did not take her to search for missing cows,” he corrected her. He removed his saddle, blankets, then added a bit more grain to the feeder. Slapping the gray on the neck, he turned to see Sonya watching him. “She followed me. What can I say? I was more fun than you snoring in bed.”
“I do not snore,” she immediately snapped. “What are you doing?” she demanded when he got off his horse.
“I thought I’d take you to dinner.”
She snapped her mouth closed and she focused on the puppy with a great deal more attention than the dog deserved after getting him in trouble.
“You look good,” he added when she didn’t say a word.
“Thank you,” she murmured, hugging the puppy.
“Well, I thought dinner would be nice after a long day of not much, but if you—”
“Dinner would be great,” she offered, then set Blue down. “Thank you for bringing her home. Did you find your cows?”
“Nope,” he grumbled and tipped his hat back to study her face. The woman was quick to anger, but maybe she was quick to lose it, too. Can I be that lucky?
