“Always keep your head up, even when you lose,” I told him.
His head snapped up and already his eye started to blacken. I’d hit him hard. “I really thought I could beat you. I know I’m good enough.”
“That you are, but you also have a big ego. I was the same way a few years ago. Arrogance will get you nowhere. If you fight with a level head you’ll do much better.”
Sighing, he tossed back his drink. “Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind.” He started to get up but stopped when his gaze met something over my shoulder. “Whoa.”
A woman with dark red hair, a short blue dress and huge tits sidled up to me, rubbing her hands up my thighs to spread them apart. Two other women joined her, the blonde one going to Justin and the other blonde to Zane. They were enjoying the company. “Great fight tonight,” she murmured.
I slid her hands off my thighs and sat back to get distance. “Thanks.”
Leaning over, she pressed her tits against my chest and rubbed a hand over my cock. “What’s wrong? Don’t you want to work off some of that testosterone? I’ll let you tap me out.”
“Sorry . . . what’s your name?” Removing her hand, I stood and set some cash on the bar.
She crossed her arms over her chest. “Andrea.”
“Well, Andrea, nothing personal against you, but I’m just not interested.” I said my goodbyes to Justin and Zane and started for the door.
With a hand on my shoulder, Grady stopped me. “Dude, where are you going? I thought we were going to party it up tonight? I see you got some hot looking females over there.”
Chuckling, I glanced back at them and at Andrea who stood off by herself. “Be my guest, my friend. The one in the blue dress looks a little lonely.”
Grady peered over at her, his eyes wide. “Damn, you’re walking away from that?”
“When you got something like I have waiting at home, you don’t need anything else. Have a good one, brother. I’ll see you in the ring next week.” Once outside, I pulled out my phone and texted Megan. I wanted her ready for me.

I MANAGED TO coerce Nic into giving me a tub of their homemade whipped cream and a couple of cherries from the restaurant. Tyler and I were both stuffed when we left but nothing was worse than seeing his face when I got in his truck with the whipped cream and cherries. Thankfully, he didn’t ask questions.
I had everything ready for Kyle when he finally texted and said he was on the way. The candles were lit and I had just the right amount of whipped cream on my lady bits. I just hoped it didn’t melt off by the time he showed up. He knew the passcode to the garage so I didn’t have to worry about answering the door. It wasn’t long before I heard the garage door open and someone come through the kitchen door.
I carefully climbed up on my bed, my heart thundering in my chest with the footsteps coming down the hall. When the door opened, my breath hitched as I watched his eyes widen.
“Holy fuck,” he growled.
“You like?”
He slid off his shirt and unbuttoned his jeans, letting them and his boxers slide to the floor. “You look so unbelievably sexy right now,” he murmured, climbing onto the bed. Up on his knees, he stared down at my whipped cream covered body, his cock growing harder. “I didn’t think you’d do it.”
“I can be adventurous,” I teased. Next, I swiped a fingertip of the cream and stuck it in my mouth. “It tastes good too.” I reached for a cherry and held it up in the air. “Are you hungry?”
His lips tilted up in a smirk. “Famished.”
Opening his mouth, I placed the cherry inside and watched him bite it off the stem. A speck of cream was on his lips so I leaned forward and licked it off before biting his lip. He groaned and pushed me back on the bed, spreading me wide. His warm breath blew across my clit as he licked the cream from between my legs. I was so close to an orgasm, but he chuckled and stopped before I could climax.
“You are such a tease,” I moaned.
“I like watching you squirm.” Then, he trailed his tongue up my stomach to my breasts where he licked them clean and sucked my nipples. When his mouth closed over mine, I could taste myself on his lips, along with the sweetness of the whipped cream. With his eyes on mine, he settled his body between my legs and thrust inside as far as he could go. “I love the way you feel around me,” he murmured.
“And I love the way you feel inside me.”
He picked up his pace but only a little bit. It was enough to drive me insane. I liked that he could be gentle, but rough at the same time. “I love you,” he whispered, holding me tight.
His hips thrust harder against mine, making me lose control. I screamed out his name as I milked him, his hot release pouring inside. Breathing hard, he rested his forehead to mine and kissed my lips.
I smiled up at him. “And I love you too.”
Leaving Kyle in the shower after the second time we’d had sex that evening, I dried off and was looking for some comfortable clothes to put on. My phone started to beep in the living room, so I ran out there and searched for it, taking it back to my room. I had a couple of missed text messages already.
The door to the bathroom opened and Kyle emerged with a big smile on his face.
“Feel better?” I asked.
He ran the towel through his wet hair and dried off his body. “Much.”
I climbed up in bed and unlocked my phone so I could look at my messages. “How did the fight go?”
“Good. Jake put me against his nephew, so I had to take it easy on him. He tapped out in the second round,” he said, putting on his boxers.
My messages were up and they were from an unavailable number. When I clicked on them, I wasn’t expecting what came through. Gasping, I glared at the pictures and then at Kyle, my blood boiling.
“What’s wrong?”
Right in front of my face were pictures of a redheaded girl with her hand over Kyle’s cock. The next picture was of her in between his legs with her tits all up in his face. “What the fuck is this?” I shouted, throwing him my phone.
He caught it and looked down at the phone, his eyes going wide when he realized what he was looking at. “Megan, this isn’t what it looks like.”
“Was that tonight? Was that what you were doing when I was getting ready for you?”
“Yeah, but . . .” He slowly walked back over to me. “Look, there were three girls who came up to me and the guys. When this one,” he held up the phone, “kept being persistent, I pushed her away and left. I told her I wasn’t interested.” Handing my phone back to me, my hands shook but he grabbed them and pulled me to him. “Don’t you see what this is? Someone’s trying to fuck with us.”
Deep down, I had a feeling it was Alex, but then with Kyle’s past, there was no telling. I just didn’t want to think of other women having their hands on what was mine.
“Megan, you know I would never do anything to hurt you. Please tell me you trust me.”
Looking into his eyes, I found desperation and love. “I do trust you. My only problem is, now that you’re back in the fighting scene, women will be throwing themselves at you.” I sighed and shook my head. “But we may have bigger problems than that. If my gut is right, then Alex is a lot closer to us than I thought.”
His eyes narrowed. “And if it was him, and you were at the club, he’d have easy access to you. I have a fight next weekend . . . now I can’t let you go.”
“Like hell you can’t,” I hissed. “We said it before. I will not let anyone control my life. The Labyrinth is my territory, not his. Jake needs to know what’s going on. And if for some reason it’s not Alex, then we need to find out who it is and put a stop to them.”
Kyle sighed and shook his head. “Are you always this stubborn?”
“Yep, get used to it.”
I had decided to call Mason in the morning, but he was the one who called bright and early. Kyle groaned and lifted up on his elbows, waiting sleepily to hear the news.
“Hello,”
I answered.
“I have word from Bryce. He checked out that address in Florida and it’s not Alex’s place. A retired couple lives there. I hate to give you bad news, but I can’t find him.”
“We think he’s here, Mason. With everything going on, it has to be him. Last night someone took photos of Kyle with another girl and texted them to me. The number was unavailable so I have no clue who it is, but I know it’s him.”
“Fuck. This isn’t good.”
“Tell me about it.”
“All right, I’m going to get in touch with Ryan Griffin. He’s the Chief of Police out there—”
“But the PD didn’t do shit when we went to them about the motorcycle incident. They took one look at Kyle and turned the other cheek.”
He huffed. “That shit’s not going to fly with me. I’ll tell Ryan what’s going on and he’ll take care of it. Expect a call from him soon. I’m sure he’ll have questions.”
We said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone.
“What did he say?” Kyle asked.
“Basically what we pretty much knew. They can’t find Alex. Mason is going to get in touch with a guy at the PD and get him to help.”
Kyle leaned over and kissed my shoulder. “I’m not going to let him hurt you, love.”
“I know,” I murmured. Getting out of bed, I threw on a pair of pajama pants and stretched. “Do you want something for breakfast? I don’t think I can go back to sleep.”
Kicking off the covers, he got out and slid on his jeans. “Sure, I’ll help.”
When we got into the kitchen, the garage door opened and Nic pulled inside. We both had our backs to the door when she finally decided to stumble in. “Geez, woman, did Greg work you out that hard last night? What took you so long to get inside?”
“This,” she whispered, her voice tight.
I turned around and my smile faded. “Oh no.”
Kyle narrowed his gaze at Nic, who was holding a single pink and white orchid.
“I think the answer to all of our questions has been confirmed,” I stated.
Kyle took the flower and looked at it. “There’s no note. Is this from Alex?”
I nodded, swallowing down the anger and memories. “Yes. He used to buy me one every time he hurt me. It was his way of saying he was sorry.” Taking the orchid from his grasp, I stormed outside and opened up the trash can. That feeling of being watched crept over my spine. Tossing the flower in the trash, I slammed the lid shut and stood there, waiting.
“If you want me, cocksucker, I’ll be ready.”

Four Days Later
ACCORDING TO THE Chief of Police, Alex was smart and wasn’t leaving paper trails anywhere. He was a ghost.
“Have you told your family what’s going on?” Tyler asked.
I shook my head. “I didn’t want to burden them with my problems. I moved out here to be with them, but so much time has passed, I don’t feel like I belong. I feel at home here with you and everyone else. You’re all that matter to me.” My gaze landed on Kyle who was in the ring with Zane. “Thank you for letting Kyle take up so much of the ring time. Zane seems like a good guy.”
Tyler chuckled. “Oh, he is. I could tell he was beefing up but I didn’t know he was interested in fighting. I think he’ll be a strong match for Kyle.”
The door to the gym opened and Kacey walked in, her face beaming when she noticed Kyle in the ring. “Is that Zane?” she asked.
He pulled her in for a kiss. “Yep, and Kyle’s training him. I agreed to let him have more ring time.”
She turned her gaze to Kyle and watched them for the longest time before focusing on me. “So how are you and my brother doing? He seems to be really happy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him like this, even when we were kids.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy either. But we’re doing great. I love him.”
“What are you doing here so early?” Tyler asked her.
“Well,” she began slowly, “I thought maybe we could go on a double date.”
He narrowed his gaze. “With who?” Biting her lip, she glanced at me and Tyler followed her line of sight. “You want to go out with Kyle and Megan?”
They’d been back from their honeymoon for almost two weeks and she’d barely seen Kyle during that time. I thought it was a great idea. Kacey nodded and smiled wide. “Is that okay? I thought it would be fun to go out on the town and maybe ride the rollercoaster at the Stratosphere like we did for our first date. I had a blast that night.” She focused on me. “Would that be okay with you?”
“I think it would be great. I’ve never been on the rollercoaster.”
“Awesome, then it’s settled.”
Kyle made is way up behind Kacey and put his sweaty arm around her, glancing back and forth at us. “What’s settled?”
Kacey cringed and held her nose. “You, Megan, Tyler and I are going on a double date tonight. And please make sure to take a shower beforehand.”
He bellowed out a laugh. “Why, do I stink? I think I’ll go out like this.”
Kacey elbowed him in the side and laughed. “Be my guest, but I’m pretty sure Megan will agree with me.”
I held up my hands. “Hey, that’s a sibling quarrel. Leave me out of it.”
“You’re such a traitor,” she grumbled with a smile. Then moved to Tyler to give him a kiss and backed away toward the door. “All right, I’m going to go home and take another shower since my brother rubbed his stink on me. I’ll see you all later.”
Once she was gone, Tyler talked to Kyle and Zane for a few minutes before coming over to me. “Why don’t you and Kyle go home and call it a day. Kacey and I will meet you two later.”
“Are you sure? I don’t mind staying.”
“I’m sure, now go. You’ve done more than enough by staying here overtime.”
Grabbing my bag, I pushed in my chair and rushed over to Kyle and Zane. “Tyler says we can go home early,” I announced excitedly.
Zane fist bumped Kyle. “All right, I guess that’s my cue to go. Same time tomorrow?”
Kyle nodded. “Yep, and be prepared. I took it easy on you today.”
“Sounds good. You guys have fun on your date tonight.” He winked at me. “I can see why he turns the girls down at the club.”
“He better or I’ll kick his ass.”
“I think the phrase he used last time is when he has someone like you at home, he doesn’t need anything else. Isn’t that what you told Grady?” he asked Kyle with a sly grin on his face.
I looked up at Kyle. “Aww, did you really say that?”
“Of course, it’s the truth.”
Zane chuckled. “And this time, I’m really going to go. I don’t do the mushy stuff.”
I rolled my eyes. “I bet you would if you found the right girl.”
He picked up his gym bag and snorted. “Yeah, right. I like being single. I’m not like ol’ man river here,” he said, nodding toward Kyle.
“I’m thirty, dickhead. And just for that, I’m going to hand your ass to you in the ring tomorrow. You’re going to regret your words.”
Zane smirked and started for the door. “Whatever you say, old man.”
Chuckling, Kyle shook his head. “I’m going to have my hands full, aren’t I?”
“Yep, I’d say so. Now let’s get out of here.” We said our goodbyes to Tyler and rushed out to the parking lot. “I’m looking forward to our date tonight. I bet it’ll be nice for you to be around Kacey.”
We hopped in his truck and started on our way to my house. “It will. I haven’t talked to her much since she got back from the honeymoon. At least she wants to spend time with me.”
When we got to my house, Greg’s yellow sports car was in the driveway. “We might be hanging out at your house this afternoon. Nic can be kind of loud when she’s—”
Kyle grimaced and shook his head. “I get the picture. If you want, you can grab a change of clothes and we can head over to
my house.”
“Sounds good to me.” I got to the front door and opened it, breathing a sigh of relief when I saw them watching TV. “Hey guys,” I announced.
Greg waved his hand in the air and smiled. “What’s up, Megan.”
Nic jumped up off the couch wearing a pair of pink pajama shorts and a T-shirt. “You’re home early. I wasn’t expecting to see you at all today. I have to work tonight until closing.”
“We’re not staying long. I came to get a change of clothes. Kyle and I are going out with Kacey and Tyler tonight.”
“Awesome. I hope you guys have fun. We’re just going to hang out here until we both have to head in to work. But Friday, I’m free. Why don’t we have a girl’s night?”
“I think that would be a great idea,” Kyle cut in.
“So do I,” Greg agreed, sitting forward. “She keeps talking about how much she misses you.”
I knew why Kyle didn’t want me with him. He was going to be at the club fighting, and if Alex was there, it’d put me at risk. Either way, I was going to go and see if he showed himself. “All right, it’s on. Girl’s night on Friday.”
Nic squealed while I walked down the hallway to my room. I wanted to watch Kyle fight and I wasn’t going to let anything stand in my way.
“How many times do you think they’re going to ride that damn rollercoaster?” I asked.
Tyler and I watched Kyle and Kacey as they got back in line to ride. “I guess as many times as they want. I’ve never seen Kacey so happy. Who would’ve thought having her brother back would change things as much as they have.”
Throughout the whole dinner, they talked about random things, mainly about his recovery and what their mom did to him. Kacey was heartbroken and I could tell she was trying to make up for not being there. “Do you still hate him?”
Sighing, he averted his gaze to the glowing Vegas lights. “If I hated him, I wouldn’t let him work at my gym. I just hope this path to reform lasts; especially for Kacey’s sake, and for yours. You seem to really care about him.”
