Abbey’s story wasn’t one everyone seemed to be excited for, and I wasn’t sure how much I loved her story until my betas Alexandria Bishop and Emersyn Valis started talking to me about Abbey. Then I threw out her book that was half way done and her and Jordan’s story was retold. Now I’d have to say these two are some of my favorites out of Friendship (Don’t tell the others. Sofie’s a crier).
My cover designer, Kassi. Lord knows you’ve put up with me after changing this cover (pretty sure twice), but you get me. You get my stories. You know how to help improve my covers and my work. You’re my people.
My editor Jenny. Poor Jenny. You know you’re stuck with me forever since I tend to book you every month for years on end. Thank you for loving and understanding my characters, even though you don’t drink coffee.
My agent, Stephanie Phillips. You’ve gone up to bat for me so many times (and I’m pretty sure you’ve never played baseball). You put up with me through all my Texas nonesense, and I don’t know what I’d do without you. (Cry. The answer is cry).
Katy Perry, thanks for writing songs that keep me moving and inspire my books.
Chris Evans, Thank you for being so pretty and a nice muse for Jordan. I don’t care that you probably won't read this and you’re quite a bit older than Jordan, you’re still my muse. DEAL WITH IT.
Twothy. What can I say that I haven’t said in a million other acknowledgments? Everytime I talk to you about these Friendship, Texas books, I watch you light up and act genuinely impressed at my word counts or world building. Thank you for being my better half. I love you more than chips and salsa.
Claire and Olivia. You make me a better mother. A better person. You’re the reason I try and write these strong heroines and great mother and daughter relationships like Stephanie and Abbey. Never stop dreaming. Never stop inspiring.
Angel Justice, Michelle Dare, and Emersyn Vallis AGAIN, thanks for helping me when I was stuck on scenes, but poor Abbey. Her hoo ha will never be the same because of you ladies. I still love you. Thanks for sticking with me.
My reader group, The Mixer. Y’all are the most supportive and fun group of people. I love you all to the moon and back.
And to YOU. The person who picked up this book and love bacon as much as I do. Thank you for reading my silly stories and making my dreams come true.
