She curled her fingers into the gold under her hands, gasping his name as the pleasure took her over the edge. Her vision was nothing but a blaze of golden light, and she could feel nothing but him.
When she caught her breath, Ilie was kissing her mouth again, and she felt his cock between her thighs, barely brushing her entrance.
“Ready?” he whispered. “Ready to be mine?”
“You have me,” Becca told him. “Take me, Ilie, make me yours.”
He sealed his mouth to hers and drove into her in one powerful thrust, filling her completely. She felt swollen and sensitive from coming, and he felt huge inside her. For a moment he was still, keeping them joined together, buried inside her.
Then she twisted her mouth against his, scraping her teeth over his lip. Ilie let out a groan that was almost a laugh and pulled out to enter her again. He started slow, in long dragging thrusts that made her feel every inch of his thick cock, but soon he was moving faster, making the gold shift around them.
Becca was still held tight by it, rocked between Ilie and the hoard. She was a part of it now—part of Ilie, part of the hoard. They were all one living, beautiful, precious thing together.
“Yes,” she moaned. “Yes, yes, Ilie—”
She was coming again before she knew it, deep waves of pleasure that shook her down to her core. Ilie was moaning her name, coming deep inside her, and she could feel every pulse of her pussy milking his cock, taking everything he had to give her.
“All mine now,” he murmured, kissing her lips gently, and then her forehead.
“All mine,” Becca agreed. She wiggled a little under him. “Um…”
Ilie picked his head up and grinned. “Yeah, yeah, here—”
He seemed to do no more than brush his hands over her, but the chains unfastened easily, sliding away on all sides. They went slowly, as if lingering for a last caress, but soon she was really naked again, except…
She raised her hand and found that she had a couple of new necklaces still fastened around her throat. Ilie kissed her fingertips where they touched the new chains, kissed the soft skin of her throat.
“Keep those?” he murmured. “Wear them always?”
“Always,” she agreed, snuggling down into the gold. Ilie curled himself around her, and it felt good just like it had in her bed last night, but that wasn’t quite right. Not here, on the dragon’s hoard.
She turned her head to look at him. “Do you want to be a dragon again?”
Ilie kissed her for that, deep and fast and hard, and then he said, “You don’t have to move.”
She shook her head in agreement, settling down in the gold to watch as he got to his feet, already stretching out his arms, his neck growing. Between one blink and the next the transformation was complete, and the cave was suddenly quite full of black dragon.
He curled himself around her, taking up most of the pile of gold now. She cuddled against his enormous chest—like the gold, his scales felt more comfortable to snuggle up to than they should. He was warm, and she felt both small and safe as he curled his arms around her, just as he had when they flew.
On the edge of sleep, she heard Mouse give a little bark, and heard the sound of him climbing up to the top of the pile of gold to lie down against Ilie’s side.
There, she thought, satisfied. Now we’re all together. Perfect.
Ilie’s grip on her tightened, and she stroked her hand over his arm.
Just like this? He asked. Perfect?
Perfect, Becca agreed. My perfect dragon. I love you in any shape.
My perfect mate, Ilie replied. In any shape, I always love you.

They waited until after midnight to go out again. The storm had long since passed, and the clear night sky was full of stars when they emerged from the cave.
Ilie was still in his dragon shape, and Becca had put her clothes back on. Mouse trotted along happily beside them, dashing off to explore the clearing while Becca and Ilie looked up at the stars.
They were brighter than Becca had ever seen them, up here in the dark above the town.
Ready? Ilie asked, and Becca turned to him and smiled, holding her arms up. Ilie lifted her against his chest with one huge hand. Mouse came running up, barking, and jumped into Ilie’s other hand to take his place.
A second later they were flying.
It was so different like this, in the calm night. The cool air was just a caress, and she could look all around as Ilie glided smoothly up and up. The stars seemed even closer, brighter and more numerous. Every dark space in the sky seemed to fill with more lights when she looked into it.
She would have been happy to fly forever through the beautiful night, but it wasn’t long before Ilie was circling. She looked down, watching headlights crawl along the highway far below. When they could only see distant red taillights, Becca patted Ilie’s chest.
“Now,” she said.
Ilie dove, and Becca screamed in delight and held on tight, watching the ground loom up and then veer away as Ilie brought them in for a gentle landing in the middle of the road. They were only a few yards from her car, still safely parked on the shoulder.
Becca pulled her keys from her pocket as soon as Ilie set her and Mouse on the ground. Mouse, well trained, dashed quickly off the road, and when Becca looked up from unlocking the car doors, Ilie was standing there, naked and beaming in the moonlight.
“Mouse,” he said, holding out his hands as he walked over.
Mouse sidestepped and barked, but he was wagging his tail this time, and he darted in to sniff at Ilie, getting to know him again. Becca grabbed Ilie’s clothes—still damp, since they’d missed out on the dragon blow-drying—from the passenger seat.
Ilie made a face as he pulled them on, and Becca kissed him.
“You won’t have to wear them for long,” she promised.
He got into the car, and Mouse followed eagerly, cramming himself into place on Ilie’s lap. Ilie was already having to fold his legs around the telescopes, so every inch of the passenger side was packed.
“We could put him in back?” Becca suggested hesitantly.
“He’s never been in a car before,” Ilie said. “I’d better hang on to him.”
“Well, roll the window down, then,” Becca said, rolling down her own to let in the warm summer night air. “Get the full experience.”
She started up the car and got them back on the road, and she laughed when she looked over at Ilie and Mouse. They were both leaning their heads out the window, enjoying the wind in their faces.
She reached over and Ilie caught her hand immediately, giving it a squeeze as he whooped into the wind. Becca felt her heart ache a little, like it was too big for her body to contain. Ilie was hers, her handsome beast, and she was his beauty, and she was taking them home.

Special Sneak Preview
Radu was still standing just inside the door, wearing a suit, looking every inch the proper mayoral candidate. But as Hannah’s gaze fell on him, his eyes went wide. His lips parted and his whole posture changed, slipping from Radu’s usual stiffness into something that looked much more like Sunny’s loose stance.
He looked stunned to see her, but not angry.
He looked... delighted.
Hannah looked automatically toward Sunny only to find that Sunny had turned away from Cara. He was looking back and forth between Hannah and Radu. Sunny’s expression started out confused and then turned every bit as surprised and happy as Radu’s.
Hannah felt a strange butterfly-fluttering in her stomach that wasn’t just nervousness, and wasn’t just the awareness of how intensely gorgeous the twins both were. It felt like more than that, like...
“We were just saying how funny it was that you’d never met.”
Hannah jerked her gaze away from Sunny to see Gus walking over. He stopped by his desk, slipping an arm around Cara and frowning a little as he looked back and forth between his brothers.
“Yeah,” Sunny said, his voice sounding oddly strained. “It’s funny.”
Hannah looked back to find that he had moved to stand by Radu, reaching out to put a hand on his brother’s shoulder. The twins’ eyes were locked on each other, looking the strange reverse of their usual demeanors. Radu still looked stunningly happy about something, while Sunny looked concerned and hesitant.
It occurred to Hannah that, for as much as people talked about how inseparable they were, she didn’t think she’d ever seen them together. The silent communication between them was almost visible.
Then they both turned to look at her at the same time, and the butterflies in Hannah’s stomach vanished, replaced by a sudden crashing certainty. Yes. This is right.
With that inexplicable thought came a blaze of heat—not just her face getting flushed, but her whole body. She’d known how attractive each of the twins was, but together...
“Well,” Gus said, sounding heartily amused.
Hannah shook off her daze and looked at her boss.
“I’m sure the three of you have a lot to talk about,” Gus said. “You know, because you and Radu will be working together.”
Hannah blinked rapidly, trying to focus on what Gus was saying.
“Please,” Radu said, with something shockingly close to desperation.
Hannah looked back at him. Sunny had walked over to the window and stood with his back to everyone, looking out.
Hannah still felt the pull toward both Radu and Sunny, but it was a little less overwhelming now that she could look at just one of them at a time.
“Please, I need you to stay.”
Radu was walking over to her, reaching out his hands. The usual stiffness of his posture was gone, and he wasn’t frowning at all. He looked hopeful.
“I don’t know anything about being mayor,” he said. “I’m sure I can do it, but we both know you’re the one who’s been running the town since Gus was elected—”
“Hey,” Gus said mildly.
Hannah looked over at him and saw Radu do the same in her peripheral vision. She had a feeling they were both giving Gus the same skeptical look. Cara was giving him one too, although hers was very fond.
“I helped,” Gus said with a shrug and a genial smile.
“I’ll help more,” Radu said firmly.
It sounded like a promise. Hannah looked back at him. He was still holding out his hands to her, palm up, and she rested one hand lightly on his as she nodded.
“Say something,” Sunny said.
Hannah looked over at him and felt that pull again. Not as strong this time, but something about touching Radu while she looked at Sunny just felt right. She knew instinctively that she would feel the same if she were standing at the window with Sunny, looking at Radu.
She knew it would feel even better if Sunny weren’t so far away.
Sunny smiled, but the stunned look was gone, and what was left was something warm
and easy.
“Put him out of his misery,” Sunny prompted. “Say it out loud.”
When she dragged her gaze back from Sunny to Radu, Radu was staring at his twin, but his hand closed around hers and held on.
I don’t think I’m wearing the right outfit for this, Hannah thought absurdly.
She was standing in the mayor’s office with her hand in Radu’s. His twin and Gus and Cara were all looking on, and everyone was waiting for her to promise something.
But that wasn’t quite right either. Sunny shouldn’t be all the way over there when she said it. Radu and Sunny were inseparable.
Hannah kept her eyes on Sunny as she said, “What about you?”
Radu’s hand tightened on hers. When she looked up at him—way up, she’d never stood close enough to realize just how tall he and Sunny were—he was smiling wider than ever.
“Yes,” Radu said, looking over at Sunny. “What about you?”
Sunny frowned and smiled at the same time, his forehead wrinkling while his mouth turned up at the corners. He came a couple of steps closer, shoving his hands into his pockets.
“What would the mayor and deputy mayor want with me?” Sunny asked.
Radu huffed. “You are not the stupid twin.”
“Well...”
It finally started to dawn on Hannah what she was feeling, what it meant.
“You’re a package deal, aren’t you? Anyone who votes for Radu knows they’re getting Sunny—”
“Sorin,” Radu murmured fondly, squeezing her hand again.
She glanced up at him, and looked over at Sunny—Sorin, to Radu. And to her. Because she was—because they were both—
“Sorin,” Hannah corrected herself. “Can’t have one without the other. Everybody knows that.”
Her voice shook a little, but she knew that she meant it, though it made her heart pound to say it out loud. God knew she’d heard enough descriptions. Gus had told her about how it felt when he met Cara at least a hundred times. Ilie’s recognition of Becca as his mate had been literally life-altering.
