Ravaged: A Dark Vampire Reverse Harem Romance (Dark Vampires Book 2) Page 9

  And it was very enjoyable.

The first part of Xander’s game might have been extremely physical, but there was no doubting his expert knowledge of the female anatomy. Within minutes he had me shaking and gasping as he immersed himself in me, covering himself in my juices.

I was so fucking wet by the end of it that I was practically aching to have something inside of me. I’d never been that aroused before. With his lips pursed around my clit he sucked gently while one finger stroked my walls and the other probed my ass.

When the orgasm came it broke through me like glass, raining down through my body as warm shards that filled every inch of me with glorious light. Then he finally pulled away and untied the ropes from their posts one by one. For a few seconds I had the liberty of movement again, in which Xander came forward and claimed my lips with his own.

I sucked my juices from him, humming around his tongue as it forced its way into my mouth and danced against my own. I wouldn’t have thought that whipping could get me anywhere close to aroused, but Xander had somehow made it work.

“Claim,” he growled. The word low and guttural.

I simply nodded back in terror, excited to finally feel him inside me, but also cautious of the dark vampire holding me in his palm. With a quick flourish he grabbed the ropes binding my wrists and led me across the room, where he tied the rope again to another point. I wondered what was happening this time when he hoisted my legs up too.

This time I was suspended in the air again, but I was lying horizontal, facing the floor and at about waist height. Xander certainly knew his way around ropes. I had to give him that.

I quickly figured out that he had created a sex swing and we were positioned right in front of a mirror that let me see him as he approached me from behind. With a sharp and possessive growl, he seized my legs and spread them, not wasting any time as he forced his cock up against my pussy.

My mouth rounded in silence and my eyes went wide. He wasn’t as thick as Victor, but as Xander slowly pushed his cock inside my cunt I had to pause to appreciate his length. The thing just went on and on.

  “Xander!” I gasped. “F-Fuck!”

He finally bottomed out and I clenched around him, biting my lip as I tried to contemplate how he had fit inside. He was the longest of the coven, of that there was no doubt. Then he started fucking me, and I was howling within a few thrusts.

Maybe Xander was a gentle lover that read poetry while we fucked in the missionary position, but his dark shadow was a raw and primal lover, one that fucked without any restraint.

I swung back and forth through the air, my dripping pussy punished by the vampire and his rock-solid cock. His name whimpered from my lips, my breath struggling to keep up as I came around him.

  “Xander! Xander!”

Victor had thought he was the rough one in the coven, which was cute, because right now Xander was giving him a real run for his money. My pussy creamed around him, and before I knew it, I was looping through and endless cycle of mind-blowing orgasms.

I had a burning desire to feel him come in me now. As I looked back, I saw his eyes focused squarely on me, that blackness burning with a ferocity that both aroused and terrified me.

  “C-Come!” I begged.

He nodded, and then he leaned forward, his hand snaking up my back and wrapping around my throat. He squeezed gently. I struggled to breathe, but there was no fear, I understood perfectly what he was doing.

  It felt amazing.

Then I felt him swell. His cock grew in size and his hand tightened around my throat. I would be screaming if I could. His cock erupted in my tight pussy, hot semen bursting inside of me and coating my walls. He came another two times right after. When he finally pulled out, I felt him dripping out of me.

  Filled. Fucked. Finished.

I could have quite happily hung there for a long time, swinging in the darkness as I tried to remember what it meant to be human. For a brief moment there was only quiet and we both got our breath back. Then he untied me and pulled me up to my feet. My eyes could still dissect the darkness, but I could see clearly now that he was back.

Red eyes twinkled back at me. He was Xander again.

“Now you know my secret,” he said, looking as though it shamed him.

I took a step forward and kissed him, resting my hand on his chest as I did so. His arm wrapped around me. “If it’s any consolation I liked it. I wasn’t expecting that from you.”

He smiled. “My brothers like to think they are the dark ones. I’ll let them keep thinking that. I’ve always played… rough. I’m sorry if it scared you.”

I shook my head. “No. I liked it. A lot. I’m starting to realize that I might actually be a bit of a freak.”

Xander laughed. “You’ll fit right in then. We’re all freaks in one way or another.” He helped me unfasten the last of the ropes and cast them back onto the bed along with the other toys.

“Where did all this stuff come from?” I asked. Did Neave just have this stuff lying around? It felt a bit uncomfortable to think we might be using her sex things.

“That I don’t quite understand,” he said. “This room is an exact replica of my playroom, a private dungeon I have hidden in the castle. Neave’s house must have recreated it for some reason.”

With the explanation the room started to change in shape and size. The features around us all dissolved and the walls moved in until it was about half its size. Now the room was just a blank stone cube. Everything else had gone.

“This place creeps me out,” I admitted. That reminded me of Neave’s warning. I repeated it back to Xander and he seemed to understand.

“Neave is a very powerful witch, and she prefers to be alone. She almost killed us when we came to her last time. She told us to never come here again after the spell was done.”

I paused. “But you came. Why?”

Xander shrugged. “Because you asked me to bring you here. I realized that talking to the witch was the only thing that could really satisfy the questions you have.”

“But she could have killed you!”

He merely shrugged again. “It was a risk I was willing to take. I made a promise to you, and I wasn’t going to break it. You will learn that of my brothers and me. We will never break a promise to you.”

  “I… appreciate that. Thanks, Xander.”

“So, did you manage to come to a decision?” he asked. “Did the witch give you counsel?”

“She did. She answered my questions. I think I know what I want to do now.” He stared at me in expectation as I let the answer linger on my lips. “Let’s go back to the castle. Maybe we can make this work out somehow.”

A broad smile filled Xander’s beautiful face. “That sounds good to me. Let’s get a move on before we risk running into Neave again.”

With my help we managed to find the front door. Xander had trouble navigating the labyrinthian corridors too, but once I explained how the house worked, we were out in a few minutes. Stepping out onto the porch and into the darkness of the black forest I felt a blanket of terror fall over me.

Xander quickly scoped out our surroundings to make sure things were safe, shifted into his dragon form and beckoned me over. Once I was on his back he flew up into the air and I held on tight, breathing out a sigh of relief as the black forest shrunk below us.

The craziest thing is that riding a vampire dragon was actually starting to feel pretty normal.

After taking off Xander moved upwards until we were above the clouds. I had to marvel once again at how beautiful the moon and stars were up here. For a long time we glided like that, feeling like the only two people in the world as his wings soared over the cloud tops.

We talked every now and then, his voice ringing through my mind, but for a lot of the flight we were quiet too. I was actually starting to feel comfortable just being in his presence.

Was I really starting to become okay with this?

Everything was fine until we dipped bac
k down below the clouds sometime later. Xander didn’t say anything at first, but his scales started to feel hot under my palms. Something was bothering him.

“What’s wrong?” I said out loud. I could barely hear my own voice over the wind, but I got the impression he could read me telepathically anyway.

I can feel a presence, he said, an unusual one. We’re quite close to the castle now, but I can detect the energy signal of something new.

  “Vampires? Hunters?”

Vampires, I think. He circled around in the air, his wings drawing great loops while his dragon eyes attempted to spot the culprit. I can’t see anything, but this is… a little worrying. We will continue back to the castle for now, I will report my findings to Roman, Victor, and Shadow.

The tall and snowy Carapath mountains drew up from the edge of the world and we entered its endless blizzards. I clung tight to Xander, wrapping my cloak around myself to try and fight back some of the snow. The cold was relentless, but the heat from his scales kept me nice and warm.

As we came down to land, I got to see the castle properly for the first time. Its sheer size and beauty took my breath away.

Xander’s giant claws skated over the rooftops and carried on down into a large courtyard nestled deep within the castle walls. The brilliant square of white snow was so large it could have fit Xander’s dragon form many times over. As we came down, I saw three small figures waiting at the courtyard’s center. Xander landed with a gentle thud, his claws kicking up the fresh snow.

After I climbed down, he shifted back into his vampire form and we walked through the snow to the others. Victor threw a heavy black cloak towards Xander. He caught it in the air and pulled it on.

“I imagine you have quite the story to tell us,” Ronan said calmly. I had half-expected him to be mad for some reason, but perhaps my return was signal enough of me making up my mind.

My breath misted on the freezing cold air. The others didn’t seem so bothered by the snow, but I was shivering now, even in my heavy cloak. How was Xander just standing barefoot in this?

“C-Cold,” I managed. Both Ronan and Victor laughed, their eyes red and bright. A quick glance told me that Shadow was still struggling with his feral side. Ronan appeared to have him under his control still.

“Let us get inside,” Ronan said. “You can tell us what happened, and then we can see what kind of punishment lies in store.”

My eyes darted to Xander. Punishment?

“Don’t look so scared little darling,” Victor teased. “It’s just that you’ve been gone quite some time now, and our appetites have worked up quite a lot. Normally we’d settle down one by one… but I’m not sure we can wait, isn’t that right, Ronan?”

Ronan looked at me and tilted his head as though he was communicating the point.

I didn’t understand at first, but the look in Xander’s eye told me everything I needed to know. I’d only had to put up with one vampire at a time so far, and now I was expected to handle several of them at once?

Talk about a welcome back party.

  6

We followed Ronan back into the castle’s dark belly, wandering down hallways and staircases until we came to a large lounge.

The room could easily have fit a hundred people. It’s tall and ornate ceilings sat high above us, and old oil paintings in gilded frames covered the oak-paneled walls. A large fire crackled away. Ronan ushered us over to the fire so I could warm up again. I picked the closest chair and held my hands up to the fire, already grateful for the warmth.

Ronan sat down on the couch opposite to me, while Xander and Victor approached a pool table and started playing. I looked over my shoulder and saw Shadow waiting by the door, his black eyes fixed on me alone. I shuddered and turned back to face the others.

“Perhaps I owe you an apology,” Ronan said to me. “I underestimated you entirely, and for that I was a fool.”

I didn’t understand. I had escaped, trashed one of his stolen jets and now he was apologizing to me?

“This is all very new to me,” I said. What else could I say?

“Seems like drinking isn’t new to you,” Victor laughed from the pool table. “Damn. No one has ever drunk me under the table before. It barely seemed to touch you.”

“My tribe specializes in brewing Hangza,” I explained. “I have developed a tolerance to the stuff over the years. And I tricked you. I didn’t drink anything after the shots. The waterfall game was entirely rigged.”

He tongued his cheek, amused and annoyed with himself at the same time. “Well, bravo,” he repeated. He leaned over the table and potted a ball. “It took brains to escape this place.”

“That is why you chose, Victor,” Ronan said. “Right? You were planning this from the start.”

“Can you blame me? I was thrown in the deep end a little. This all still feels like one crazy daydream.”

“As long as it’s a daydream and not a nightmare,” Xander quipped as he took his own turn over the pool table.

He was joking, but he also made a good point. This whole arrangement had felt like a nightmare at first, but it was starting to feel more normal with each new day. Even now I felt comfortable sitting there with them, but it felt strange that this was so easy.

“The important thing is that you’re safe,” Ronan said. “And you managed to form a bond with Xander while you were gone, which is also a plus.” He looked at Ronan and Xander. “I don’t know about you guys, but my mind is feeling clearer than ever. It feels clearer each time Lily forges a bond with one of us.”

“I too feel much sharper, much like my old self,” Xander said.

Victor cue’s cracked as he potted two more balls. “Shit, I’m even getting better at pool. I’ve sucked for ages. I’m feeling it too.”

Their eyes wandered back to Shadow, who was still standing in the doorway, his eyes fixed on me. I could see his breath laboring, and his body twitching, looking as though it wanted to surge forwards.

Ronan’s hand moved silently at his side, keeping Shadow under control.

“Which leaves Shadow…” he said to me. “He is the last one you need to form a bond with.”

I gulped. I didn’t know why he terrified me so much, but even the others appeared to be scared of him. “He’s different to the rest of you.”

“He is,” Ronan conceded. “Before Neave blessed us with the draconian magic Shadow was not that different from the rest of us, but the spell changed him more than it changed us. It affected him more.”

That certainly explained things, but it didn’t make the prospect of being alone with him any easier. I sensed the others wanted the bond to be complete soon, but they weren’t pushing Shadow on me. They were giving me time at least, for which I was kind of grateful. He was a good-looking man, and I did feel this strange attraction to him, but there was still this wariness in the back of my mind.

“Wait, that reminds me.” I looked at Xander. “You mentioned that something felt unusual when we flew back.”

Xander stood up from the pool table. “Ah, yes. Have either of you noticed an unfamiliar energy around the castle while Lily and I were gone?”

Victor and Ronan both looked at each other and shook their heads. “No,” Ronan said. “Should we have?”

Xander set his cue down. “I just noticed something odd when Lily and I were flying back. It felt like another vampire was close by, one that I wasn’t familiar with.”

  “Worrying,” Victor said.

  “Indeed,” Ronan added.

“Don’t other vampires come around here?” I asked.

“No,” Ronan said. “Our castle is well-hidden and known only to us. We deal with many other covens in our day-to-day business, but none of our associates could trace us here. The fact that another vampire has been in the vicinity is a concern. It suggests to me that someone might have followed your scent.”

“What exactly do you do?” I said.

“You might not know this,” Ronan said, “but v
ampires do have a system of authority here in the outlands. Our coven plays an important part in making sure that other covens adhere to that law. We also cull the feral herds where we can.”

  “You police other covens?”

“Police might be the wrong word,” Xander said. “We just keep things in check, but that job has been getting harder as our draconic magic takes hold of us. We also guard the perimeter border that joins the black forest. There is a lot of dark magic there, and it often leaks into these parts.”

“I had no idea; I thought the vampires out here just ran wild.”

“They have been lately, because we couldn’t do our jobs effectively, and that has caused us some trouble. Now you’re here we can get back to work and fix everything that has slipped out of control. Coming back to our current problem however…” He looked at Xander and Victor. “Do we need to go hunting? See if someone is trespassing on our land?”

Suddenly a dark voice broke through the room, we all looked back and saw Shadow, still standing in the door. His eyes were still dark, but a deep red flickered through them as though he was trying to get control.

  “Hunt,” he managed.

Ronan stood up from his seat. “Shadow? What’s going on?”

“Hunt,” he repeated. “Scent. Danger. Stay. Keep safe.” His eyes focused on me.

Xander and Victor both put their cues down. “Shadow what’s going on?” Victor asked. “Do you need help?”

“No!” he barked, looking as though every movement was difficult. “Stay, protect! I, hunt!”

And then he turned and ran out the door. We all looked back at Ronan, who seemed just as perplexed as we did.

“He gets like this sometimes,” he said. “Though he’s part of our coven he’s always been a bit of a loner. Shadow’s senses are far more powerful than the rest of us, and he is our most gifted hunter. If there is a vampire around here, he will find them.”

“I should go with him,” Victor said, “give him back up.”

Ronan considered it for a moment and then shook his head. “No, I think he wants to tackle this alone. I tried to keep him here, but he snapped away from my control. He’s found something, whatever it is, it must be important. It’s best to let him work on his own and bring back his findings later. You know how he is. I get the impression he wanted the three of us to stay here in the castle with Lily.”
