My yells weren’t answered by anyone. I fell back on the damp cot that was in the corner. Man, I hated being captured by some ogre-ish pirate bitch. They hadn’t even done me any favors and given me a bite to eat. I was fucking hungry as hell.

A door somewhere opened up. I heard a push and someone fell into a puddle. The door slammed shut again and I got the feeling I had company. I got up and went over to the bars and listened. Footsteps, slowly, and they were coming this way.

The owner of the footsteps was an overly small Pride demon. I recognized him based on the red skin and black eyes. The few I’d seen were at least six feet tall, if not taller. This one was maybe an inch or two over five feet. He seemed resigned to his fate and didn’t even notice me staring.

He picked up a mop and started splashing water all over the floor. “Tis a shitty life for me.”

I’d never seen a Pride demon so pathetic. “Yo asshole, why’re you acting like a little bitch?”

His black eyes turned to me, but there was no anger or hate in them. No, it was pretty fucking pathetic. “I’m too small to protect meself properly. I’m just glad to be on this ship, away from those even worse.”

A small snort escaped me. “Slap my ass and call me Sally. You’ve got to be the most pathetic demon I’ve ever seen.”

“I probably am.” He went back to work, mopping the floor of the brig. He even started singing even more terrible tunes. “Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen, nobody knows my sorrows.”

The only possibility was karma was coming back to bite me in the ass. “Would you shut the fuck up? Neither of us wants to be here, there’s no need making it even worse.”

The door opened again and lucky me! I was getting another guest. This one turned out to be a Lust demon and boy was she top heavy. Her breasts were just about hanging out of her pleated shirt. “Shitbag,” the Pride demon answered to that name, “the Captain wants you to clean out the head again. One of the Sloth demons took an awful shit in it.”

The thought of that made me want to vomit. The pathetic little demon, Shitbag, grabbed his mop and moped his way back towards the door that led to the rest of the ship. Surprisingly the Lust demon stayed down here. “Rumors are true that the Captain caught himself a human. I wonder what’s so special about you that he hasn’t killed you yet.”

“Listen lady, the moment you find out, would you tell me? Being stuck in here fucking sucks.”

I guess I amused her. “My oh my, don’t we have a smart mouth.” I think she was paying me a compliment. She came forward and snapped her fingers at the lock. The door broke loose just for a moment, allowing her to join me in the cell. “I don’t think it’d hurt if I played with you for a bit, don’t you?”

There was no need to respond and she gracefully pulled my pants down and found pay dirt. Dropping to her knees, she began taking everything into her mouth, teasing me with her tongue.

In the back of my mind I knew this wasn’t a good idea, but hot damn did it feel good. My new friend kept working me with her gorgeous red lipped mouth, going all the way down before slowing retreating back to the tip. Her eyes never left mine, which made the experience all the hotter.

Then, in one swift movement her lips left me, but it didn’t matter. “Cum for me my good little man.”

The moment the words left her mouth I did exactly as she said. And there she was like a fucking slut laughing as it hit her in the face, licking it up with her tongue. When she was finished, I fell back to my cot. She got up to leave. “You behave for me and next time I’ll show you pleasure you can’t even imagine.”

I couldn’t even begin to imagine what she meant, but I sure as hell wanted to find out. “Yes ma’am.”

Chapter 10 – Drop On In

I’d felt like I could’ve gotten sick at any point since leaving Key West. Something about the rock boat just really did me in. Cassandra saw my plight and led me back to the captain’s quarters, which looked more like a five star hotel. I fell on the bed and closed my eyes, praying I wouldn’t puke.

Cassandra went back out to the deck with Argus, promising me on the way out that she’d get me once we found The Flying Dutchman. “Don’t worry Oz; you’ll have a chance at glory. I know you want to duel Davey Jones.” She added a wink for good measure.

I wanted to ask how she knew that as I only started thinking about it once we left on Argus’s ship. However, vomit rose up in my throat and I thought it was best just to keep my mouth shut. The rock of this blasted ship was one of the worst things I’d ever dealt with. And if you knew my previous adventure, you are away that I’ve dealt with a lot.

Muffled voices came from the deck, which didn’t bother me. Nope, it was only when I heard Argus yell and Cassandra panic that I jumped up. Grabbing my sword and ignoring my sickly instincts, I barged out on to the deck to see what the commotion was. “Oz, you are alive!”

The commotion was Tyra. “When did you get here?” Just asking the question made me queasy.

She looked over at Argus and Cassandra. “Have you poisoned him?” Out of nowhere a flaming sword appeared in her hand. “I will cut the two of you down if you have hurt him!”

“Put that thing away angel!” Argus was slowly pulling out his cutlass. “Oz is just seasick. He’s a friend to my family and I’d never hurt him.”

To actually boost his case I ran over to the closest side and began chucking my guts out. It was five shades of horrible. Surprisingly though, afterwards I felt much better. The three of them were giving me funny looks when I rejoined them. “What, a lot of people get seasick.”

“I was just explaining to the angel here what we’re up to.” Argus seemed annoyed at the appearance of another passenger. “She seems to be dead set on coming with us.”

Tyra smiled and Cassandra looked irritated. “This will be quite the adventure, will it not?” She put her arm around the witch. “We shall save your brother no matter what!”

Cassandra shrugged off her arm. “Yes, I assume we will. For the meantime, I wish I go below deck and prepare myself.” Argus pointed to the ladder that led down below and Cassandra left. As she passed me, her hand gracefully touched my cheek. “Come and get me if you need anything, okay?”

I couldn’t help but watch her walk away, her tight little ass swayed with each step she took. Argus gave me a look I didn’t quite understand until Tyra grabbed my arm and pulled me away. “Oz, you have a different aura to yourself.” She sniffed me which I found odd. “You let the witch taint you, did you not?”

Her face looked hurt. “Listen, last night we had to share a room. Things happened yes, but you know I’m part Lust demon. My instincts sometimes are not my own.”

“I see.” She turned her back to me. “Yes, I do forget you are half demon. I just assumed…”

Whatever she was going to say was interrupted by Argus. “Can I borrow the boy for a minute? I need a hand steering the ship.”

Glad for an excuse, I excused myself and followed Argus up the stairs and back by the wheel. “Thanks, that was getting thick down there.”

“Trust me lad, I’ve seen my fair share of love triangles in my many lifetimes.” He chuckled and he turned the ship with one hand. “As you can see, I have no need for help, but rather I wanted to give you some sound advice.”

  “That I could use.”

In a very fatherly voice (something my real dad never mastered Almighty bless him), “It’s painfully clear both these girls have feelings for you. In the crazy, weird ass world of celestial beings, shit like this happens all the time.”

My face started getting hot. “I don’t know if I’d say they have feelings.”

“Oz, for such long lived creatures, angels develop strong attractions fast. It’s one reason they stopped mingling with humans millennia ago.” As for witches,” his eyes lingered to the steps Cassandra went down, “they are finicky creatures. If for some reason you choose to beak that girl’s heart, be prepared for major consequences.”

  That didn
’t sound pleasant. “I appreciate your advice.” I really meant that. “If it’s okay with you, I’m going to go hide in your quarters until we need to do some fighting.”

He gave a soft chuckle and pointed his thumb back at the door. Without hesitation, I took my leave and hid like a coward. Argus had a lot of books lining the walls of his area, so I grabbed one with a big picture of a Kraken on it. I knew from my dad’s adventures that he dealt with the creature before.

I was in the middle of a particularly harrowing account when I heard a knock from underneath me. I didn’t do anything at first; then I heard it again. I got down on my hands and knees to see where the noise was coming from.

Cassandra’s voice helped me find it. “Over here.” I followed the sound to a loose floorboard and I lifted it up. It was a trap door and the witch quietly crawled out and into the room. “Thanks, I didn’t want Tyra to see me talking to you. She’s obviously in love with you.”

If you person saw it, that was a coincidence. If two people saw it, that had to be a pattern. Still, I had a soft spot for the beautiful, blonde angel. “Nah, she rescued me. We’re just friends.”

“Is that how you’d classify us? Am I just a friend to you?”

Argus’s words were very fresh in the old noggin. “Things are complicated Cassandra, you know that. Do I regret having sex with you last night? No, I don’t.” That my friends was not a lie. Her eyes widened, ready for what came next. “For me to really except what you’ve told me, I’ve got to get to know you. If you want something with me, you gotta move slowly.”

“So it’s okay for me to pull my panties down fast, just not my heart?”

Oh shit. “You know good and well that my mother’s side leaves me vulnerable to advances. You came into bed with me and allowed that to happen.”

I saw a very nasty storm building inside her. Then, just like that, she quieted it. “You’re right.” It was barely above a whisper. “I saw an opportunity and I took it. You didn’t say no which meant you wanted it too.”

I did. I wanted it so bad. It was like the demon inside me finally awaked and it needed its hunger sated. The worst part was with that taste, it wanted more. It needed more. I was struggling internally to keep my composure as it begged me to give myself to her again.

“Your Lust demon has come to life, hasn’t it?” She touched me which sent electricity through me. “I can control it, if you allow me to.”

“How do you plan to do that?”

Her voice went husky. “By giving it what it desires.” Her hand reached up and cupped my genitals. In slow, circular motions she rubbed me through my pants. “If you allow me this, I promise not to push the emotional stuff. I’ll let you come to the same conclusion I did all on your own.”

It was a tempting offer, one I was about to say no to. That changed the moment she put her hands down my pants and the magic that sparked made me say yes. At that moment, she undid my pants and let me fall free out. To give me a target, she pulled her shirt down and exposed her beautiful breasts. She kept stroking me, kept tempting me with those vixen eyes of her until I couldn’t stop. I let it all go all over her chest, more with each stroke of her hand. She didn’t stop until I did, and even then she played with me just a little. I almost had a second orgasm when she licked it all off her hand.

“Clean yourself up. The ship is slowing down which can only mean one thing, Argus has found Davey Jones.”

With the Lust demon satisfied, I nodded and watched her climb back down below deck from where she came. It was only a second after I finished getting myself presentable was there a knock on the door. It was Argus. “Wake up Oz, we’ve got a pirate ship to board.”

Chapter 11 – Chumming the Water

The fog was thick. It hadn’t been foggy before, I don’t think. No, I’m pretty sure it’d been sunny and hot. Something really weird was at play here. “Argus, is this normal?”

“Far from normal kid, this is the cursed fog of The Flying Dutchman. The ship itself is about a half hour’s row away.” He didn’t seem very enthusiastic about that. “Only the Almighty himself knows what monsters lurk in the waters below.”

Cassandra was walking up from the lower deck, a slight, coy smile still on her face. “Whatever is around this ship, it has clearly affected the sea life near it. There’s quite a bit of malice coming from the water.”

“I can take Oz and fly us over to the ship.” The angel just had this happy look to her face, even in the most dangerous of situations. “That way we do not need to fear what is down there.”

“Oh no, that’s my brother over there. I’m not going to let you be in charge of his recovery.”

Argus gave me the look that said ‘this is your mess, clean it up.’ I sighed and cleared my throat. “I appreciate the offer Tyra, but we’ll need more than just the two of us to take down a pirate ship full of demons.” Out of the corner of my eye I saw the rickety old boat that we’d have to go over in. “However, I think the best course of action would be for two people to fly just above the two people in the boat. I don’t think that thing could take the weight.”

“Unfortunately you’re right.” The old pirate poked the boat with his sword. “The days where this little vessel’s use are long over. Two people might be able to make it over, but it’ll be daunting.”

“Oz and I will ride in the boat. I can use some magic to keep us afloat, if you can defend us?” She gave me her best puppy dog eyes.

This was probably the best plan. Argus was a decent sized dude and Cassandra and I both were a bit on the thin side. “Yeah, I can handle that. Especially if I have air support.”

So with the plan set in place, Argus and I went to lowering the boat into the water, with Cassandra already inside. Tyra didn’t look too pleased, but hadn’t voiced any more complaints after everything was square. Once the boat was in position, Tyra flew me down and dropped me in. We waited for her to grab Argus before we began to move. Instead of rowing, Cassandra was going to use a propel spell.

From the ship’s deck, the two of them took to the air and hovered over us by about ten feet. Cassandra went to work and we began moving through the water like a power boat, powered by the yellow energy in her hand. I had my sword ready and I even thought about extending my wings for extra protection, but Cassandra voiced against that. “Your chains will add too much weight to the boat as it is.”

So much for added defense. It looked as if a good offense would be our only hope. The boat glided across the water and I began to think the best of the situation. Then I saw it, a giant shark’s fin not all that far in front of us. It appeared to be circling us as we went forward.

On a pass by the boat, I got a decent look at its body under the water. This thing was easily fifteen, maybe sixteen feet in length. I couldn’t tell what kind of shark it was, but if I wasn’t mistake, there may have been two heads.

“Cassandra, we might have an issue.”

“The shark is preparing to attack. Be ever ready.”

I lifted the laser blade of my sword up high. Like an old samurai, I’d be ready to shop this thing down the moment it breached the water. I kept following where the malice was coming from and just before the head(s?) breached, I was ready. Yep, two heads rushed out of the bubbling water, each attempting to eat the witch providing the magic. I spun to produce some extra effort and sliced the first head clean off.

The shark obviously took notice and immediately retreated back under the water. Blood began to turn the water a weird greenish color. Yeah, it wouldn’t be back.

Cassandra wasn’t as confident as I was. No, she was sure the shark wouldn’t be back, but she thought this was an omen to even worse. “The creature is hurt and bleeding. That’s going to attract an even bigger predator.”

Why is it so hard for people to be optimistic? “Maybe the demon fish will take that as a warning to stay far away.”

Nope, no such luck. About twenty five feet off to our right, the water broke again. This time an even larg
er shark like creature was eating the two headed one whole. The girth of the shark shook the boat and nearly tossed me into the sea of death. The last thing I saw on the shark before it disappeared back into the water was that it was eight spider-like eyes.

I kicked the one wooden bench in the boat. “You’ve got to be kidding me! A spider shark? That’s absurd, like some cheap D produced horror movie.”

The new appearance of spider shark wasn’t missed on those above us. Tyra lowered Argus enough so that we could hear him. “We can’t fight that thing off, but we can move faster. Cassandra, can you use your magic to keep up with the angel?”

Oh that sly old pirate, using their rivalry to keep us safe. The yellow magic in her hand began to glow brighter. “I hope she can keep up with me.”

Our little boat took off into the fog with Tyra and Argus keeping pace. Almighty, we might make it out of here in one piece yet. Oops, spoke too soon. Another, larger dorsal fin appeared out of the water, cutting through like a knife. Judging on the size, this one had to belong to spider shark. “Ummm, Cassandra?”

“I can feel it getting closer.”

Our speed increased, but so did the shark’s. The top of its head appeared, those eight spider-like eyes glued on us, the target for its next meal. It sunk back under water, fin and all.

This really bothered Cassandra. “Oz, you ever watch those shark documentaries?”

“Not particularly. I was more a movie and video game kinda guy.”

“Figures.” She huffed a bit before continuing the shark lesson. “Some sharks like to dive down really deep and then propel themselves upward to catch their prey unprepared. I believe our pursuer is preparing to do so.”

I looked down underneath me. This old thing wouldn’t survive an attack from spider shark. “What are we supposed to do?”

“You’re not going to like this plan.” That didn’t sound good at all. “I’m going to bring us to an abrupt stop right before the attack point. When it breaches out, it should miss us and give you a chance to eviscerate it with your celestial fire sword.”
