Every newly published novel represents a journey that the writer has taken accompanied by a whole team of people. Together they strive to make a story the best it can be and that’s a very wonderful thing. Suddenly, as a writer, you don’t feel quite so alone in the process and it’s a special feeling to have that team onboard, working on your story.
I would like to thank my agent, Sara Keane, for coming into my life at just the right time. Also, a huge thank you to the awesome Sarah Ritherdon, for reading my Christmassy manuscript on one of the hottest days in summer and feeling the festive vibe: enough to offer me a contract, which kicks off with this little journey to France, first.
Being an Aria Fiction author is such a thrill and getting to work with editorial director, Lucy Gilmour – someone I have long admired - has been a sheer delight!
I also want to send a virtual group hug to the wider team who have been involved in the process – thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
And finally, but most importantly, the readers. Your kindness in choosing my novel represents the first stage in the next part of my journey with Aria Fiction. In reading this I’m sending you, too, my very grateful thanks. It’s your wonderful reviews that keep me writing and do get in touch via social media, as it does brighten my day. It’s rather nice between long sessions of writing to engage with someone I haven’t created and who doesn’t only exist in my head.
For me, YOU keep it real!
