The Cross of Mithras Vol. 1: EOD Operation Welcome to Hell Page 71

by Douglas Howell

I heard about Golden Hyperion from the locals and how the mafia didn’t run the casinos there. So I got a job, saved up enough money and headed there. Or should I say to here. When I got here, I got a job and a girlfriend. I loved her enough to tell her what Cindy did to me. I won money at some of the casinos and I was going to pay off part of my gambling debt in order to keep the mafia happy enough to stop them from coming for me, but I never got the chance.” Caparzo was saying.

  “How come?” Sanchez asked.

“My girlfriend and I ran into to trouble. One thing led to another and she was dead and I was sent to the Volunteer Room. There I met a scientist who, when she found out that I used to be in the Army, she gave me a choice – help her to escape to Project 21 or else. So I had no other choice but to use my winnings to help her to escape.”

“Why didn’t she use her money for that?”

“Because the EOD was monitoring all financial transactions of everyone who worked there. It was from her that I learned everything about the EOD. Including what really goes on in that room.”

“And what did you learn?” Sanchez asked.

“The EOD ability to control it’s people through fear and intimidation is seriously waning. They no longer fear what it can do to them, but rather they are only concerned. You see, people within the EOD has subtle ways in which they rebel against it. Especially those in the Volunteer Room.

When the EOD first came out with the Volunteer Room, yes it did turned people into monsters, but they stop because of people like that scientist. It was becoming too costly for the EOD to liquidate, and to find a replacement for those scientists. Besides, they always had far superior ways to extract Intel from anyone. I don’t know what it means, but she said that they would Smersh anyone from the CIA after they extracted the Intel.” Caparzo finished. With that, both of them left.

“Ma’am, the reason why both of us would be shot for me telling you that is because of the Intel that the scientist provided Project 21 with.” Caparzo inform Sanchez.

  “And what’s that?” Sanchez asked.

“There is a unmistakable Wol’ga’con presence upon Golden Hyperion and Captain Adnrwal was not told that. We were sent here to uncover what they are doing here.”

“How do they know that it is Wol’ga’con and not something else?” Sanchez asked.

“Artifacts that are too old to have been forged by anyone in this galaxy are there. The artifacts also has a language on them that is similar to that of the Iomiyyan language. They also have Wol’ga’con DNA at that laboratory that we were suppose to go to.” Caparzo said.

At that moment, the EOD Security Chief who was monitoring their conversion, stop the recording and sent the video to Captain Maxwell who reviewed it and then sent it to Lenkov.

Vaistll finally got to Lenkov and Omori’s quarters. Unlike Mad Dawg, she took a PDA that has a map of the ship. It was also linked up to the ship’s computer in case a person needed extra help. She almost wished that she was accompanied by a guard since she had to be careful when she looked at the PDA or she might hit her head on a door frame. It happened three times since she got there. As she would put it, “In all the years that I’ve been on a spaceship, you would think that I would have the sense to walk with my head up. But sometimes it is unavoidable.”

“Headache?” Omori asked Vaistll as she was entering the room. Vaistll had her right hand on her forehead.

“Nope, forgot to look up.” Vaistll responded.

“Please come in and sit down.” Omori said.

“So what did the two of you wanted to see me about?” Vaistll asked them after she sat down.

“Take a look at this video.” Lenkov said. He then showed her the security video with the dark entity in it. He paused it after the entity spoke.

Vaistll couldn’t believe her eyes or ears. Not only did it seriously freaked her out, she almost had a bowel movement. It left her feeling deeply confused and scared. Is this some type of trick? But what it said told her that it was not. She knew they had no way of knowing that language. She had to accept the fact that what she is looking at is really happening. But she couldn’t, nor could she ever.

“Do you recognize the language?” Omori asked Vaistll.

“Y-Y-Y-Yes ma’am.” Vaistll said nervously still shocked by the video.

“How many people knew the language?” Lenkov asked.

“In my birth time period sir, only two people were fluent in that language.” Vaistll said.

“Who were they captain?” Lenkov asked her. He could tell that she didn’t want to mention it.

“Answer the question.” Omori said when Vaistll didn’t respond.

“Me and Natas Ovast.” Vaistll responded.

“Was it his native tongue?” Omori asked.

  “Yes ma’am.”

“Then why did he teach you that language?” Lenkov asked.

“I don’t know sir.” Vaistll said, still struggling with what she saw and heard on the video.

“He must have had a reason. Didn’t you ever ask? Precisely when did he teach you that language?” Omori asked.

“He never mentioned it and I never asked. You have to understand that he taught me that language after the city of Nyuu’a’nostl was razed to the ground.” Vaistll responded.

“It’s an old EOD trick. You take a person that endured a great deal of mental stress and teach them a foreign language. You make certain that they are fluent in that language. Periodically, while they are learning the language, you teach them a phrase in that language. If they were to ask for the meaning of the phrase the response is, it will help you to learn the language, or, it is a test to see how well you are learning the language. Either way, you make certain that they permanently remember the phrase. You then give them some medicine and tell them that it will help them to heal. But the medicine is actually some type of drug like that of LSD. Because of that, only enough medicine to have an effect, but not enough to create hallucinations, is given to the person. The medicine is given to them while they are mediating. They must then try to remember those phrases. Shortly after the drug wears off you have them go to sleep. When they awake you have them write down their dreams. The process repeat itself until a certain information is extracted from them.” Lenkov said. It shocked, stunned, and surprised Vaistll when she heard that.

“Oh my god! That’s verbatim of what Natas did to me! But why do that for information? Isn’t there a better way to do it? I never heard of such a technique.” Vaistll said.

“There are people out there with the gift of premonition, but that does not mean that they have some type of prophetic powers. That trick is used to create insight for those with premonitions. It is use to create far superior predictions.” Lenkov responded.

“So what did he say in that video?” Omori asked.

“He said, ‘Nothing is going to stop my rebirth.’ But the word that was used for rebirth does not mean rebirth in the dictionary sense, but rather in the Hyyuk’ma religious sense.” Vaistll responded.

  “Please elaborate.” Omori said.

“Only the Mea Kryysti sect dealt with rebirth in the sense of the word that was used. It was a word to describe the birth, death and rebirth of Bulnik’no. They had the belief that Bulnik’no will first come as the Dark Elements. Although they disagreed on what order the Dark Elements will come, or will they come together, they did agreed that each Dark Element will be born, die and give it’s essence to the next one. With the last one bringing about Bulnik’no after it’s death.” Vaistll responded.

“In other words it is like the four Anti-Christs.” Lenkov mentioned.

  “Come again?” Vaistll asked.

“Napoleon was said to be more blood than prince. Blood is a liquid, like water, which is one of the elements. The forces of the second Anti-Christ swept across Europe like the wind. With the third Anti-Christ it was said of him that he is the crusher. Or to put it succinctly, the mountain that crushes the life o
ut of things. Mountains comes from the earth. The fourth Anti-Christ was the devourer of souls. The one who brought humanity to the brink of extinction. The fire that burned us all.

Each Anti-Christ actions assisted the next Anti-Christ rise to power. An example would be the third Anti-Christ. A long time ago when people, especially Americans, spoke of the third Anti-Christ, they said that he would command the most powerful military in the world and come from a country with the most powerful economy. Well, that’s America. But they also claimed that the third Anti-Christ is not an American. History proved them wrong. When you look at the actions of America back then, you can see why the third Anti-Christ would be an American President. The actions of some Presidents trying to turn the office of the White House into the Imperial Presidency. Not only the creation of Big Brother, but also it’s expansion into other faucets of American life. Elections of rock star Presidents by Big Media. The culture of political assassinations. A Congress that is out of touch with the common man and woman. Widespread corruption and indebtedness. Shunning allies and embracing the enemies of freedom. Doing business with the enemies of freedom. Having a military that trains the enemies of freedom. Using crises as an excuse to expand the power of government. Having a military with at least 800 bases all over the world. The list goes on and on. How could the Anti-Christ not be an American President given how long that list is?

The consequences of his actions ruined the American economy, strengthen the enemies of freedom, and weakened its allies. A superpower that was a bulwark of democracy was destroyed by itself and a new era was ushered in. An era without freedom. An era that we are still in. A new dark age was born. His impact upon America turned it into a super-state of espionage, caused the American military to sell weapons that it never would, to people that it never would. He is not directly responsible for all those who died, but he is indirectly responsible. And that is why it took awhile for people to acknowledge who he really is. To this day, there are still people who staunchly believe that he was no Anti-Christ and they call the fourth Anti-Christ the third. But without a bulwark of democracy it made it a lot more probable that the fourth Anti-Christ would rise to power. As a matter of fact, Christianity suffered it’s greatest setback under the third Anti-Christ. The fourth one damn well near killed the religion. What is it that everyone said of him? If there is no second coming of Christ, then Jesus is just a man.

All of that sounds like the birth, death, and rebirth of the Dark Elements. But the real question is this: if each of the Anti-Christs are the Dark Elements, and the Dark Elements is supposed to die so that the next one comes, and then, and only then will Bulnik’no be born, then what is the Bulnik’no version of the fifth Anti-Christ? Is it fair to say that he would make the rest seem like a minor tyrant? The first four did what they did to the human race, could it not be argued that whoever comes next will do what they do, not only to the human race, but also to all intelligent beings in the galaxy? If the Anti-Christ comes from hell and the devil is his father, could it not be argued that the fifth Anti-Christ is the devil himself? And who is the only person in this galaxy who is powerful enough to be the devil? Could it not be argued that it is the founder of the EOD? Pick any Anti-Christ, or all four, and compare them to the founder of the EOD and ask yourself, who’s worse?” Lenkov said. Vaistll was speechless.

“Captain, do you believe that thing in the video is Death himself?” Omori asked.

“No, not anymore.” Vaistll said under her breath still stunned by what Lenkov just said.

“Not going by what I said, why do you say that?” Lenkov said.

“Because of Sanchez’s reaction.” Vaistll said under her breath.

“And how is that?” Omori asked.

“In the Mea Kryysti belief it is said that when Death appears it feels as cold as a freezer. But with Bulnik’no it is so cold that it hurts to breathe. They would have the sensation of falling into a vortex and the feeling of being drained of energy. They would also feel a heaviness in the air that would make it seem like it is about to crush the life out of them. They would know that there is something evil in the room with them. It is one reason why he never appears to them.” Vaistll responded.

“Then how does he contact people?” Omori asked.

“Through a whisper. He influences through a light touch. That way it convinces people that it is not him, but something else. It’s like when a family moves into a haunted house where a man killed his family and then committed suicide. The house is now sick with dark energy. The new family starts to notice that their father is changing, but he blames it on something else. His…” Vaistll was saying.

“We heard that before in movies. The father takes on the emotions and personality of the killer. And then he tries to kill his family.” Omori said.

“Actually. And that’s why Bulnik’no speaks through a whisper. Nobody would notice that he is there until it’s too late. If he wants to eliminate someone it would look like a freak accident. And that’s what it would be. He is a light breeze, a whisper.” Vaistll responded.

“So in other words he is a killer.” Lenkov said.

“No. He’s more like death from the movie Final Destination, per se.” Vaistll responded.

“Do you have any ideas as to why he might be here?” Omori asked.

  “No.” Vaistll responded.

“Does Bulnik’no has any connection to Liquid Death?” Lenkov asked.

“Just two, reincarnation and premonitions.” Vaistll responded.

  “Why premonitions?” Omori asked.

“He gives people the gift of prophesy in order to manipulate and deceive them into, either doing evil, or turning a blind eye to the problems of the world. He gives people the prophesy that their world is coming to an end. It causes them to feel powerless to change their future. And in certain cases it may be a self-fulfilling prophesy. He does that because it destroy people’s hope in a better tomorrow. That their future is something to be feared, not whatever they make it.” Vaistll responded.

“Could Liquid Death be the Dark Element of water?” Lenkov asked.

“I suppose. It sounds like it could be.” Vaistll responded.

“I know this may sound like a long shot but, perhaps the founder of the EOD is the reincarnation of Natas Ovast.” Lenkov said.

“How do you figure that?” Vaistll asked.

“You stated that Natas Ovast ancestors wanted him to be the reincarnation of Bulnik’no. It appears that Liquid Death is the Dark Element of water. You stated that each of the Dark Elements must die in order for the next one to come. If Liquid Death is the Dark Element of water, and Double Shock uses it to resurrect his people, then it would more or less die. However, whichever Dark Element comes next it must absorb the essence of the Dark Element of water. Could the Tylkuoply hive be one of the Dark Elements? Perhaps. If so, then what Double Shock is doing is allowing a Dark Element to adsorb the next one. If not, then we would have to try to figure out what the other three Dark Elements are. We do know that Liquid Death is here, and a part of the hive. We haven’t yet uncover the plans of the EOD here, but it appears to have something to do with the Wol’ga’cons. The Wol’ga’cons have some type of a plan on Earth going as far back as the year 2000, most likely even earlier than that. We know that those Wol’ga’cons come after General Ydxx’od’omaa’s day. Each of the four Anti-Christs appears to be each of the Dark Elements. The founder of the EOD could be the fifth Anti-Christ. Who’s suppose to be far worse than the first four combine. So that alone would suggest that the founder of the EOD and Natas Ovast is one in the same.” Lenkov said.

“You’re right sir. It is a long shot.” Vaistll said.

“What if it is true?” Lenkov asked Vaistll.

“Then I’ll either kill him myself or die trying.” Vaistll said.

“How do you purpose to do that when you need our help here on this world?” Omori asked Vaistll.

“Are you saying that you won’t help me?” Vaistll asked Omor
i.

“No. I’m saying that if you and your men sees us as the enemy than how can we help you?” Omori asked Vaistll. It took awhile for Vaistll to respond since she knew that Omori was right.

“What other choice do we have but to cooperate with you?” Vaistll eventually said.

“Define cooperation captain. Dismissed.” Lenkov said.

  “Yes sir.” Vaistll said ruefully.

“How close do you think she is in seeing things our way?” Lenkov asked Omori after Vaistll left.

“Just let her think it over for awhile. What type of resistance, if any, do you think Mad Dawg will encounter?” Omori asked Lenkov.

“I don’t know. But judging by what Caparzo said I think it will be far worse than what we originally thought that it might be.” Lenkov said.

“Maybe we should allow the senior officers of Task Force ZH-3C on the bridge so that they can see the carnage of whatever happens to Mad Dawg and his Marines.” Omori suggested.

“Alright.” Lenkov said after he gave it some thought.

In a situation like that both Lenkov and Omori rehearse what they are going to say to someone like Vaistll (including Mad Dawg). They do that because they know that the person will not fully cooperate with them and may undermine their plans. Lenkov and Omori are smart enough to know that no enemy will ever cooperate with you like an ally would. In a case like that of Mad Dawg and Vaistll, there is always the chance that they may try to escape Lenkov and Omori’s control. It was Omori who came up with the idea of suggesting that maybe the founder of the EOD is the reincarnation of Natas Ovast. She suspected that Vaistll would become obsess with the thought given the fact of what he did to her. Once that occurs then she would become like Captain Ahab. And therefore, Lenkov and Omori would be able to control her more efficiently. When Omori said, “you need our help,” those words were nothing more than a thought trigger design to go off when Vaistll become obsess with the thought of Natas and the founder of the EOD being one and the same person. Once that occurs, Lenkov and Omori would have total control over her like they do with Mad Dawg. Do either Lenkov and/or Omori believe that’s true? Absolutely not. They go by fact rather than a long shot. Everything that they said to Vaistll was a trick to control her. Very few people know that Lenkov and Omori does stuff like that. And nobody on the ship know that they do that. If Mad Dawg and Vaistll isn’t careful they could end up like Captain Ahab. The question becomes: will it get them, along with their personnel, killed?
