Jodi slid her fingers down his long, soft hair. “I want you so bad.” As she raked her nails down his back, he moaned. She wanted him now. Should she tell him? Could he tell she was a virgin?

Blue pushed up, and straddling her thighs, he sat on top of her and cupped her breasts, one in each hand. Her nipples tightened. With both hands grasping her chest, he slid one finger of each hand to the tip of the erect peak and scraped the edge of his nail against it. His fingers picked the flesh of her nipple the way he had plucked the guitar strings. Just as his guitar had sung at his touch, mews and whimpers escaped from between her parted lips.

Jodi opened her mouth wider and gasped as he buried his face in her breasts. The stubble of his chin rubbed against her tender flesh. His hot mouth swooped down on a swollen nipple. His lips clamped down on the rigid tip. She moaned with hunger at the smacking sound of his lips sucking her breast. He nudged his teeth against the erect nipple and she arched her back. He pulled his hot mouth off that breast and moved his mouth down upon the other. He swirled his tongue around the circle of her areola as her breath grew shallow, and she began to pant. He flicked his tongue back and forth across the tingling nipple. She gasped as he captured it between his teeth and tugged. Jodi was so caught up in the pleasure she couldn’t think, all she knew was she wanted more.

Drawing his mouth from her breasts, he peered into her eyes and in a strained, breathless tone he said, “Your nipples are as hard as pebbles. They make me as hard as a rock. See.” Blue grabbed her hand and slapped it over his hot cock.

Her fingers curled around his erection, grasping the firm flesh. The only thought in her head was this is what it’s like what it feels like hard and smooth and it’s mine–all mine.

“Not yet.” He tore her hand from his staff and, in a serpentine stroke, slid his palm down to her belly. He swirled his wet, warm tongue over her navel.

“Your nipples are such a pretty pink, is your pussy the same color? Let me see, Jodi. Show me your pussy.”

She felt his long fingers curl around her inner thighs as he parted her legs. He tightened his grip as he pulled them wider.

Blue bore a heated gaze at her pussy. “Beautiful. So beautiful.”

She shivered as he trailed kisses down to the cleft between her legs. He slid his hand down to where his tongue had touched and brushed his fingers across the sensitive folds. Her body flamed.

Blue jammed his finger inside her. Her breath grew shallow as he stroked the throbbing inner walls. She felt the pressure of a second finger inside her as he pumped her hard. She arched her hips forward, meeting the thrust of his hand. She moaned as he pulled his long fingers out.

“You taste so sweet. Jodi, I want to dip my tongue into your pussy. Swirl it inside.”

Before she could beg him to do it, he buried his face in the apex of her thighs. She gasped as his wet tongue licked the petals of her sex. Jodi whimpered as Blue flicked his tongue in and out of her.

He raised his head up and covered her body with his. The hard head of his erection pressed against her throbbing entrance. She had to have him now. Jodi gasped as he thrust forward and sank into her breaking through her shield. She cringed from the sting of pain.

Blue stilled. “What?” His breath was a heavy huffing. “You’re a virgin.”

  “Please don’t stop. Not now.”

“I don’t know if I can stop. Are you sure you want to?”

Before he could say another word, Jodi bent her knees and instinctively wrapped her legs around his back. “Yes.”

Blue pulled out and then drove back into her as he emitted a soft grunt of primeval pleasure.

The pain passed. Fluttering warmth filled her. She rasped, “Yes. Yes.”

He rolled back then rocked forward, driving into her.

As he rode her in a rocking rhythm, she matched his every thrust, consumed in a blaze of raw desire.

Her desperate whimpers and mewls grew louder and her inner muscles expanded and contracted as he pounded his cock into her. She sucked in quick breaths. He thrashed harder and deeper into her.

Jodi’s heart pounded in a rhythm as wild and fast as Blue’s hammering thrust. Ragged groans tore through her lips. She shuddered beneath him, gasped, arched, and writhed. A tormented expression of deep pleasure pain-crossed his face. “Jodi, Jodi,” Blue panted her name.

She quivered as she lay beneath Blue. Still intertwined.

Jodi gasped as he rolled over and pulled her on top of him. His skin glistened with sweat. Sitting up, she trailed one finger down the length of his cock. It grew beneath her touch. Wrapping her fist around the smooth skin, she glided her hand up and down as her gaze darted to his face. His lids were half closed as he floated in ecstasy.

Straddling his muscular thighs, she positioned her open pussy onto the smooth head of his cock. With her hand, she guided him inside her. Bouncing upon him in a ride of wild pleasure, she squeezed, twisted, and ground his powerful flesh. She quickened the pace. Her breathless panting turned to rapt shrieks as she burst into a million red-hot sparks.

He pulled her down beside him and wrapped his arm around her. Their lips met in a shivery kiss.

  Blue whispered, “That was beautiful.”

Lying on Blue’s bedroll, wrapped in his warm, strong arms, Jodi felt the cool breeze from the rain and breathed in the scent of incense mixed with the musk of his arousal. Pure bliss coursed through her.

  Day Three

Jodi awoke to the tangy, musky, fresh meadow scent of Blue. She opened her eyes, meeting his heated gaze.

“Good morning, my lady.” Blue lowered his face over hers.

Her cheeks tingled from his warm breath. His soft lips touched hers like a whisper. Gently, his mouth covered hers. She drank in the subtle, slightly sweet taste of his lips, which had an intoxicating effect, leaving her lightheaded. When she wrapped her arms around his muscular shoulders, he pulled her to a seated position.

“I want nothing more than to lie in this sleeping bag with you, but I have to get down to the stage area. The others have already headed there, we’re doing something special this morning. Do you want to join me?”

Her eyes scanned the tall, circular walls of the tepee as she recalled how it had kept them warm and dry as they made mad love. The only thing that surprised her this morning was the lack of noise from outside. She didn’t hear sounds of people cooking or chatting or moving here and there. “So everyone’s gone down to the stage area. I wondered why it seemed so quiet.”

“Yeah, I’m headed there, too. If you want to come, here are your clothes. It looks like they dried during the night, they’re just a little damp.”

As he sat lotus-style on the earthy tones and geometrical shapes of one of the woven rugs, Jodi raked her gaze over him and said, “Gosh you’re already dressed, just give me a minute.”

She noticed Blue seductively glide his eyes down to her breasts before she grabbed her sleeveless black-and-white-striped blouse and slipped it on. She ran her fingers down the strand of love beads he gave her as they hung over her shirt. Jodi slid her legs into her bell bottoms and tugged them on, then stood up and zipped and buttoned the jeans. “We?”

“Hog Farm, Hugh’s about to announce it.” Blue pushed himself off the brightly woven rug to a standing position.

  “What?”

“It’s a surprise.” His smiled spread across his face and his eyes shone.

“Then let’s go.” Jodi followed him out of the cone-shaped, white tepee.

She slid her arm around his waist and he did the same. With long strides, they strolled to the right. Both plopped down in the first spot they saw near the stage and shifted their legs into the lotus position as Hugh Romney, in a white western hat, strutted to the mike and addressed the crowd.

The Hog Farm leader flashed a toothless grin and i
n his raspy voice he said, “What we have in mind is breakfast in bed for 400. It’s not just Hog Farm, it’s everybody, we’re all feeding each other. We must be in Heaven.”

“I feel like I’m in Heaven.” Jodi tilted her head toward Blue and pressed her lips to his in a lingering kiss.

Blue gathered her into his warm embrace. “So am I, my lady, but I have to leave you, only for a moment. Duty awaits.”

“Are you going to slay a dragon, my knight?”

“No.” Blue let out a deep, warm chuckle as he released his hold on her. “I would slay wild beast and evil black knights for you. I may already have.” He pulled his legs out of the yoga position and stood. “I’m off to serve you breakfast. I’ll be right back.”

As she waited his return, Jodi let her gaze roam over the people around her. A girl with long, silky brown hair, wearing a sleeveless yellow print granny dress, and a little girl of about six in a matching dress, sat by Jodi. Two boys of about sixteen, with short hair, both in pastel t-shirts, one blue and one green, sat on the other side of them. Further down the row, a man in a bright, tie-dyed shirt with a long red, braided ponytail puffed on a joint. A chick in a blue work shirt, wearing a brown leather floppy hat sat not too far from Jodi. She held a wad of red bandana material and drew a needle and thread in and out of it, sewing something. A girl with shoulder-length blonde hair, parted in the middle, wearing a blue-and-white-striped shirt, with a pewter ankh dangling from a chain around her neck, sat with her arms wrapped around a bearded, bare-chested man wearing jeans. She watched them lean their heads close as their lips pressed in a hungry kiss.

Holding a paper cup of granola, Blue wove through the crowd and back to Jodi. “My lady, your breakfast is served.” He dropped down in a seated position beside her.

She gazed into the Dixie cup. “Oats and raisins.” She scooped up a portion with her fingers and shoved it into her mouth. It had a fruity, textured taste.

“It’s pretty good,” Blue said. “We eat a lot of this at the Hog Farm.”

“Groovy.” Jodi felt the blast of energy from the crowd’s roar.

Grace Slick took the stage and yelled out, “Good morning, people. Morning maniac music.”

Jodi sang along, “Sunshine into the storm.” As she sat next to Blue, Jodi rocked to and fro, grooving to Jefferson Airplane and Grace Slick’s vocals.

More than a singer, she was Grace Slick. She was a musical instrument. With a free, rebellious spirit she belted out, “I’ll come through for you.”

Jodi wondered, could it be, did she have someone in Blue who would come through for her? She felt comfortable with him, as if she’d known him all her life, but she was hesitant, afraid to get her hopes too high no matter what her heart was telling her.

Blue rose and reached his hand down, helping her up as Grace Slick sang out, “People dancing everywhere.”

Jodi shook her body like a rattle to the tapestry of sounds, a dance of noises. Her mind was filled with the haze of beautiful music.

Jodi and Blue stood and applauded as Joe Cocker walked on stage and greeted the crowd, “I just woke up and it’s good to see you.“ In his bright tie-dyed shirt of sunburst tones, he moved in a spastic dance, wagging his head capped with dark, curly hair. His rugged face was framed by long sideburns. He was like a bolt of energy, electrifying the crowd as he sang, “Let’s go get stoned again.”

Jodi and Blue shook their bodies with all their might. The music slowed as Joe Cocker belted out in his pure, deep from-the-soul tone, “Listening to my radio and a man was telling me all about thousands of people all hanging out on one piece of ground, son. Wow. And I thought to myself it’s going to come true someday.”

Joe Cocker announced the last song, “We’re going to leave you with the usual thing. This title puts it all into focus, it’s called With a Little Help From My Friends.” When he yelled out, Jodi wanted to roar with him.

A skinny, bare-chested, bearded man in cut-off jeans walked on stage. “It’s so wet that the bands could take some hard jolts of electricity, so while we wait to dry up a bit, we’ve got a rain delay. We’ll get the next act on here for you as soon as we can. We’re working on it, please hang loose.”

The guy sitting on the other side of Jodi, in a floppy leather hat, handed a joint to her. She gave it to Blue, who passed it on to the chick next to him.

Blue leaned closer to Jodi and gently lifted a few strands of her hair as he peered into her eyes. “I’d like to spend another day and night with you, and if you want, much more. I mean there is always a place for you at the Hog Farm. Please, Jodi, come with me after the festival.”

“Are you asking me to live with you at the Hog farm?” When she was with Blue, she never wanted to leave him. Her body tingled when he spoke. Her heart pounded and her skin burned any time she was near him.

“Yes. Please, come with me and be my lady. It may seem sudden, but we were together over a thousand years ago. I had a dream that was really a memory. Jodi, we were lovers in a previous life of dark fortresses and long swords.”

“You mean reincarnation?” Is this guy crazy? I knew he was too good to be true. “I don’t know.”

  “It’s karma; we belong together.”

A voice in her head screamed at her to say no, but she couldn’t put aside the overwhelming feeling she’d had since she first met Blue. Jodi sensed that she’d been searching for him all her life.

“The road hog pulls out Monday after we help clean up here. There’s a seat for you on it, right next to me.”

When he flashed his bright smile, she felt flooded with sunshine. Reincarnation or not, she’d be a liar to pretend there wasn’t something special between them. She returned his contagious smile. “When you say there’ll be a place for me on your rainbow bus, you do mean inside, right? Not on the roof? Because it’s a long way from New York to New Mexico.”

Her insides melted at his warm chuckle.

“Yes, an inside seat with pillows and blankets, water, and all the sunflower seeds you can eat. I’ll play my guitar for you on the way.”

“Sounds beautiful, a slice of Nirvana. Yes, I’ll go with you. Yes.” She leaned her head toward his and their lips touched in a fiery kiss.

When she eased her lips off his, Jodi said, “I need to go to Ziggy and Sunshine’s tent to say goodbye and pick up my sleeping roll. There’s a string bag inside it, there isn’t any money in it, but there are pictures of my parents and me when I was little and we were all together.”

“You need to get that. I’ll walk with you. Let’s go during the delay so we won’t miss any of the music. Then we can stash it in the teepee.”

Easing their way through the crowd, they walked up the hill and came to a sudden stop at the sound of two guys shouting at each other.

Blue shrugged as he looked at the arguing men, then turned his head back to Jodi. “Duty calls. Help me out by gathering a crowd.”

“Okay.” Jodi called out, “Hey, help us out, make a circle around these guys.”

Blue walked up to the fighting men and yelled, “Peace, Peace.”

Jodi and those who joined her, holding hands in a ring around the men, yelled, “Peace, peace.”

The two stopped fighting and when they shook hands everyone cheered.

“All in a day’s work.” Blue’s eyes gleamed as he smiled at Jodi.

  “That was cool.”

Blue wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked down to the little yellow tent. He followed Jodi inside.

Sunshine had grabbed the ends of her sleeping bag and rolled them up as Jodi entered.

“I’m so glad you came. We were just going to look for you.” Sunshine flashed a bright smile.

“We’re going to split, nothing’s happening until later. Sunshine’s hot from the humidity and I’ve got to get back to work to
morrow,” Ziggy said.

“We’ll give you a ride to wherever you’re headed.” Sunshine’s tone was sweet and warm.

“Cool, but I’m fine. See, I came for my sleeping bag.” With joy and excitement, she told her friends, “I’m going with Blue to the Hog Farm after the festival.”

”Groovy.” Sunshine’s eyes gleamed as she smiled. “You’re happy, I can tell. You should go with him then. Happy is important. You deserve it.”

“Thank you.” Jodi reached out to Sunshine and hugged her, then did the same to Ziggy.

“We’ll see each other again, I’m sure of it,” Sunshine said.

“Cool, I’ll never forget either of you.” Jodi picked up her sleeping roll.

“I’ll carry that for you.” Blue lifted the rolled up green bedding into his arms.

They crawled out of the tent and traipsed back up the hill toward the stage, where they then turned left down to the Hog Farm camp.

Blue stashed her sleeping bag in the tepee and they strolled over to the little stage. A man in a leather vest with a dark beard played a wooden flute, while another strummed the guitar as everyone stood around, clapping and dancing to the tune. Blue swayed this way and that as Jodi danced with him.

A chick with the Hog Farm brought them both a plate of carrots, raisins and rice. As soon as he shoved the filling food in his mouth and set his plate down, Blue leaned toward Jodi. He pressed his lips to hers, smothering her mouth. The kiss launched a shock wave though her entire body. Her heart hammered and her mind stirred with vivid memories of last night. She recalled his large hands, squeezing her breasts as she throbbed with passion. The hardness of his muscled thighs brushing against her tingling flesh, as he moved with her. She trembled, engulfed in the memory of his hot cock stretching her as he sank deeper, higher into her.

When he eased his lips from hers, he rasped, “I’m so happy you’re going to the Hog Farm with me.”

“Yes, I’d go anywhere with you. You are such a beautiful man, inside and out.”
