"Human… do you think you can outrun me?" Thomas was a little bit behind the man, only because he had a head start, but he was sure that he'd catch the director soon. Director Morris quickly looked over his shoulder at Thomas and sighed.

"I should have known there was something more to that cat. So you're something like a detective as well? No matter. Your delicate furry body is no match for my larger body.

"Think again!" Thomas shouted as he closed in on the man. Without any hesitation, Thomas extended his claws and pressed in deep into Director Morris' ankle.

"Ah!" Director Morris yelled out in pain as he stumbled towards the ground. Theodore caught up with them then and pulled his multi-tool out of his pocket. Pushing a button, an electric matter that resembled a chain wrapped around the director's body.

"No more running for you!" Theodore screamed, out of breath. The chain tightened around the director as he struggled. Soon enough the older man gave up. "I can't believe you did this," Theodore said in apparent disgust. He had a lot of respect for the man because they had many things in common, but the director of Theodore's favorite museum was a deranged criminal.

"Humph! I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for the little ankle biter here." Director Morris shot an evil glance at Thomas and Thomas grinned.

"Well it's a great thing that I was here then, huh? And my name is not "ankle biter." I am Thomas Fe'line, a Private Detective." Thomas looked over at Theodore then, and Theodore nodded his head in understanding.

"I'm calling Chief Stewarts now for backup," Theodore said and dialed the familiar number. Theodore briefed Chief Stewarts on what had occurred, and the police chief told him that reinforcements were on the way. "Here's hoping that Leonne and Dylan were as successful as us." Thomas grinned.

"Of course they were," Thomas said. "You have your fearless leader and the strong hot head handling the dirty work." Leonne and Dylan may have been kids that Thomas enjoyed teasing, but he never questioned their abilities to get things done.

"Get your filthy hands off of the Emerald Stone!" Director Morris screamed out in anger as two police officers forced him away from the entranceway to the waterfall. The Millennium Squad and Thomas walked behind the angry and kicking man.

"Geez… talk about being a super nerd." Dylan commented as he watched Director Morris trying to take back the stone from Chief Stewarts' hand.

"Ha! And give the stone back to you? Get him out of my face!" Chief Stewarts said, and the other two officers nodded their heads and took Director Morris towards a portal. They would have had a hard time navigating their cars on the narrow bridge, so they were going to transport them the modern way. They were going to use their trusted transporter portal.

"I can't believe that all this time, Director Morris was lying to us," Theodore said still sad about the way that things turned out. Leonne walked over to the boy in glasses and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"I know that you feel betrayed, Theodore. We all feel that way. Be happy that we figured it out before things got too crazy."

"Before things got crazy?" Dylan responded while throwing his hands in the air. "You call watching a mummy awakening and fighting it not crazy? You... My friend is either a loon, or you're more of a man than these adults are." Leonne smiled at Dylan, and they bumped fists.

"Well… you three did well," Thomas said adding his input and looked on as Director Morris was transported away.

"Thanks, Thomas, we couldn't have done it without you," Leonne said and grinned. Thomas returned the smile.

"Of course, but I guess I may have needed you three also." Thomas looked toward Chief Stewarts as he made his way back over to them.

"Another mission completed, well done." Chief Stewarts said smiling at the Millennium Squad and Thomas.

"What will you do with the stone?" Theodore asked. His spirits weren't exactly lifted, but he was starting to feel a little better about the situation. These things happened, and unfortunately, it happened to happen to them.

"We'll use this as evidence, and after that, we'll destroy it." Theodore shook his head at this.

"No... Leonne and Dylan promised to give the stone back to the mummy king. It belonged to him and his people. We have no right to destroy the stone." Leonne and Dylan explained to Theodore and Thomas that they were able to calm the mummy king down by promising to bring back what was rightfully his. The mummy king wasn't evil and didn't attack them out of malice. He attacked them because it appeared the mummy king thought that the boys meant it harm. It was hard to explain to the mummy that they'd return the stone, but Leonne managed to help the mummy king understand.

"Of course, but better security measures must be taken to ensure nobody else tries to use the stone for evil." Chief Stewarts didn't mind returning the stone if he was guaranteed that nothing like this would happen again.

"Leave it up to us, Chief," Leonne said confidently. "We'll make it so that nobody will ever lay hands on the stone again."

Thomas watched the Millennium Squad interact with the chief and started to groom himself. The sprays from the waterfall were starting to irritate the cat detective. Without saying a word, Thomas maneuvered in a way so that the boys wouldn't hear him leaving.

Thomas' movements were not lost on Leonne as the private detective slipped away. Leonne wanted to call out to Thomas and invite the cat to celebrate with them, but he knew that Thomas would have refused. He'll let the cat go for now because Leonne was sure that they'd see each other again. When Leonne, Dylan, and Theodore see Thomas again, Leonne was sure that they would have a great mission in store for the four of them.
