Sergeant at Arms: Devil's Henchmen MC, Book Three Page 14

by Samantha McCoy

Diesel rolled them over until Rachel was pinned beneath him.

“It would have never been like that with anyone else,” Diesel said, all playfulness gone. “The only reason it was that explosive is because it was us.”

The thought of Rachel giving her virginity to anyone else made him want to punch something. Her virginity was his. It was always meant for him.

“I don’t know,” Rachel teased. “I might have to try out some others and see what it’s like.”

“Okay. One, that is not even funny. Two, I will kill any man that comes within five feet of you. And three, don’t make me tie you to this bed for the rest of your life.”

  “Would you?” Rachel asked.

  “Would I what?”

“Tie me up?” Rachel answered, another blush taking over her face.

“Oh, you naughty, naughty girl,” Diesel grinned.

“There is so much that I don’t know. So much I want to experience.”

“We’ll get there, baby. I will open your world to a brand new level of kink every single day, if that is what you want.”

“Okay,” she said, reaching up to pull Diesel’s head down for another kiss.

Diesel could feel himself growing hard all over again. He would never get enough of her. But tonight was not the night for seconds. He knew Rachel would be sore tomorrow. Pulling away, he moved them both so they were lying fully on the bed.

“I want nothing more than to bury my dick back inside that pretty pussy of yours, but you are already going to be sore.”

‘I’m already a little tender,” Rachel giggled.

“Come here. Let me hold you.”

Diesel wrapped his arms around her and snuggled her against his side. Within minutes, Rachel was fast asleep. Placing a soft kiss on the top of her head, Diesel closed his eyes and drifted off.

“Diesel!” The panic in Rachel’s voice ripped Diesel from a sound sleep.

  “What?”

  “Someone is in the house!”

Diesel sat up and listened. The house was quiet, silent, and then suddenly, the sound of glass shattering interrupted the night. Jumping from the bed, he pulled on his boxers and moved into the closet.

  “Rachel, come here.”

As soon as she was by his side, he placed a gun in her hand.

  “Can you shoot?

  “Yes.”

“Good. Stay in here. Lock the door behind me. And do not come out for any reason,” Diesel instructed.

  “But...”

“No buts,” Diesel said. “If I am not back in one hour, press the red button next to the door. It will sound a silent alarm to Banjo. He’ll contact the Henchmen and they will come. But do not leave this room.”

“Marcus, I’m scared.” The tremble in Rachel’s voice just about gutted him.

  “Everything will be okay, baby.”

Placing a quick kiss on her lips, Diesel walked out of the closet and pointed to the red button.

“Press it. One hour. If I’m not back. Got it?”

  “Yes.”

Diesel eased the bedroom door open. Whoever was in his house hadn’t made it up the stairs yet. Silently, he slipped from the room closing the door behind him. He waited a few seconds, until he heard the lock click into place, before he made his way into the shadows. This was like second nature to him. Leaning over the upper rail, he could see four dark figures enter the house through one of the large windows by the door.

These guys were not professionals. Professionals would have never made their presences known. Lining up a shot, Diesel took it. The last man to enter fell to the ground with a thump. Quickly, before the chaos started he fired off another, and another man hit the ground. This one, the other two noticed.

Shots rang out through the house. More glass shattered. Furniture exploded. Diesel took cover and tried to make his way downstairs. The only way would be over the upstairs railing. But he needed to hurry. He needed to get back to Rachel. She would have heard the shots. His house wasn’t sound proof. Diesel knew she would be in full panic mode when he finally opened the door to the bedroom again. And that pissed him off. These mother fuckers invaded his home. Rachel’s home. They ripped her safety net from her. And for that, they would all die.

Taking a running start, Diesel leaped over the railing and sailed through the air. He landed in the middle of the living room, and rolled across the floor. Coming up on a knee, he fired another shot. Three down, one more to go. Diesel made his way around the room and into the kitchen. Searching, he couldn’t find the third man anywhere. Thinking he must have run during the small firefight, Diesel headed back into the living room.

The hit came out of nowhere. Stars exploded behind Diesel’s eyes and he fell to his knees.

“I want the woman. Where is she?” The fourth man asked.

  “Fuck you.” Diesel replied.

Gathering up all his strength, Diesel jumped to his feet and swung around just in time to grab the board from the man’s hand. Diesel let a fist fly, connecting to the guy’s jaw and sent him sprawling across the floor.

“Stupid mother fucker.” Diesel grounded out between clenched teeth.

Walking into the kitchen he found a length of rope and his emergency cell phone. He needed to call Reaper.

“This better fuckin’ be important. It’s four o’clock in the Goddamn morning,” Reaper answered.

“Does four gunmen entering my home, count as important?” Diesel fired back.

  “Maybe. Any of them alive?”

  “One.”

“Be right there.” And with that, Reaper ended the call.

Dragging the man over to the pool table, Diesel made quick work of tying his hands and feet. There was no way he would get away if he came to. After he was sure the man was secure, he ran upstairs. He needed to see Rachel.

“Rachel. Baby, unlock the door,” Diesel called.

Within seconds, the bedroom door flew open and Rachel launched herself into his arms.

“Oh my goodness,” she cried. “I... I heard... I heard the shots. I was so scared you were hurt.”

“Oh baby,” Diesel soothed. “I’m alright. Not a scratch on me. A bit of a headache but that’s it.”

Diesel kept her wrapped in his arms. Walking over to the bed, he sat down with her in his lap. Rocking back and forth, he tried to calm her. Using a hand, he lifted her face to his. The tears flowing down her cheeks broke his heart. Rachel was not meant for this life. In that moment, Diesel vowed he would eliminate any and all threats that ever came in this woman’s direction. The world would know - if you fuck with Rachel Moore, you will have to get through Marcus Briggs first.

Leaning in, he placed a kiss on her forehead, her cheek, the tip of her nose, and then on her lips. Diesel continued to kiss her as her breathing finally leveled out.

  “Better?’ Diesel asked, grinning.

“Much better. Thank you,” Rachel smiled back. “You can kiss me senseless anytime.”

  “I’ll remember that.”

  “So what happened?’

“Four men came in through the window. Three are dead. One is securely tied to the pool table. I am waiting on Reaper to get here.”

  “Why is Reaper coming?”

“Because he is the best, and most terrifying interrogator I have ever met. He’ll take the guy back to the compound and get answers from him.”

“Like torture?” Rachel’s face lost a bit of color.

“I don’t know his methods. But those men were after you. So I’m voting for the most inhumane method possible.”

“Will this ever stop?” Sadness took over Rachel’s eyes. This woman would be the death of him. All he wanted for her was happiness, peace, and puppies.

“Listen to me,” Diesel said. “It doesn’t matter how many or how often people send others to get you. I will fight every battle until they get the point. Nobody will touch you. You are mine, Rachel. Mine.”

  Chapter Twenty-Two

  Rachel

&nb
sp; The possessiveness in Diesel’s voice left no doubt in Rachel’s mind that he meant everything he said. He would protect her and she was his. The idea of belonging to someone else never appealed to Rachel before today. But belonging to Diesel, that was something completely different.

“I need to get back downstairs,” Diesel said.

  “Okay.”

“Stay up here. Reaper should be here soon and I need to make sure the guy downstairs stays there.”

“I’ll wait here,” Rachel said. She didn’t want anything to do with whoever was down there. All she wanted was this crap to be over with.

Diesel kissed her soundly and walked out of the door. It seemed to take forever before there was a knock on the door and Reaper walked in.

  “You okay, kid?” He asked.

“Yeah. A little shaken, but I’m alright.”

“Good. I know you probably don’t want to do this, but I need you to come downstairs and tell me if you know the guy down there. He’s not talking.”

Dread filled her from head to toe.

“Isn’t there some torture method you could use to make him talk?”

“There is, but Amber is trying to get me to be nicer.”

Rachel couldn’t help the giggle that flew from her mouth. The look on Reaper’s face was pure agony.

“Oh my goodness!” Rachel laughed. “The look on your face when you said that, like you tasted something rotten.”

“It feels that way, too,” Reaper pouted.

  “Oh, this is too much.”

“Are you going to come help me or what?” Reaper asked, shaking his head.

“Yeah, I guess. I really didn’t want any part of this, but I guess I’m already involved in it.”

“Yep. Just a little bit,” Reaper said sarcastically.

“Come on, Mr. Nice Guy. Let’s get this over with.”

“Never call me that again. Ever.” Normally, Rachel would have been intimidated by the man, but now, after seeing him pout like a five-year-old, not a chance.

“If you say so,” Rachel laughed, walking out of the bedroom door with Reaper right behind her.

Descending the stairs, Rachel could see several members of the Henchmen in the living room. Diesel’s eyes stayed focused on her the entire way. When she stepped down the final step, he was right there.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” He asked, concern evident in his features.

“Yes. If it helps to end this, then definitely yes. I just want this over with. I want my life back.”

“You know, this may never truly be over. There will always be someone else waiting to use you as leverage against me.” Rachel hadn’t noticed her mother until she heard her voice.

“I am well aware of that, Mom,” Rachel answered.

“Don’t get snotty with me, Rachel Marie!” Ginx retorted.

“Watch your step, Ginx,” Diesel warned.

For a split second, Rachel thought Diesel and her mother would go to battle. The looks passing between them was enough to burn someone to ash. Rachel hoped she would never be on the receiving end of either of their anger. She could understand why Diesel was mad. Because of the choices her mother had made, Rachel’s life was always in danger.

“Alright. Let’s all calm down. We need to see if Rachel recognizes this guy,” Reaper said, pointing to the other half of the room.

Rachel turn in the direction indicated and a line of Henchmen parted to reveal the last person she ever thought she would see again.

“What’s wrong?” Reaper asked when Rachel stumbled backward, bumping into Diesel.

  “Andrei Sokolov,” Rachel answered.

“Who?” Sledge and Reaper asked in unison.

“Andrei Sokolov is Rachel’s ex. He is the original one who came after her for Russia,” Diesel explained.

“Ah,” Reaper nodded. “So, we are back to Russian Intelligence.”

“What do you have or know that would cause the Russians to come after Rachel?” Sledge asked, turning to Ginx.

“I don’t know what you are talking about.” Ginx answered.

“Ginx,” Viper said, a clear warning in his voice. “Answer the fucking question. Stop playing games. They sent four killers after your daughter.”

  “It’s classified,” Ginx replied.

“Fuck classified!” Diesel roared. “Are you fucking serious? They sent people to kill your daughter, you heartless fucking bitch!”

Things escalated quickly. Before Rachel had a chance to speak, her mother drew her weapon and leveled it at Diesel. But Diesel never flinched, neither did any of the other Henchmen. All eight men pulled their own weapons and pointed them straight at Ginx.

“You think you’re the first person to aim a gun at me? You think that shit fazes me?” Diesel asked stepping closer to her mother.

Rachel had no idea what to do. She watched in horror as the scene played out in front of her.

“Talk down to me again Marcus, and I will drop you where you stand,” Ginx said, venom flowing through her voice.

“Talk down to you? For me to do that, you would have to be on some level other than the scum of the earth. You are no different than the people trying to get to Rachel.”

“You don’t know a damn thing about me,” Ginx sneered.

“Really?” Diesel asked. “I know all I need to. You are the piece of shit mother who would rather protect herself than her children. Other than that, I don’t need to know a damn thing.”

“Ginx, I am going to give you to the count of five to drop your weapon,” Sledge said evenly.

  “One.”

  “Two.”

  “Three.”

Rachel breathed a sigh of relief when her mother slowly bent down to set her gun on the floor and raised her hands above her head.

“Viper, get her out of here. Take her to the compound. Nowhere else. And do not let her out of your sight,” Sledge ordered. “I’m trusting you. Remember that.”

Viper nodded his head as he grabbed her mother by the arm and lead her out the door.

What the heck just happened? Rachel asked herself.

“What the fuck was that?” Reaper voiced out loud.

“I don’t know, but I’m going to find out,” Sledge answered. “Load up Sokolov.”

“I got him,” Reaper said, pulling a knife from the side pocket of his pants and cutting the rope that tied Andrei to the pool table.

“You two should find somewhere else to go today. I’ll call someone to come over and fix the window. Should be ready by mid-afternoon, at the latest.”

Diesel, still tightly wound, gave a stiff nod. Turning, he pulled Rachel against his chest and held her there. She wasn’t sure if he was comforting himself or her; but either way, Rachel held on to him.

An hour later, Rachel and Diesel pulled into a hotel off of Interstate Thirty-five. After checking into a room, Diesel carried their overnight bag upstairs and together they entered the room. The moment the door was closed, Diesel had her pinned against it.

“I am so sorry,” he mumbled, kissing down her neck.

“For?” Rachel asked, barely able to think.

“Going after your mother like I did.”

“Okay. Let’s not talk about my mother right now. Not while you are kissing me like that.”

  “Deal,” Diesel chuckled.

Pulling Rachel’s shirt over her head and tossing it to the floor, Diesel quickly unhooked her bra and added it to the pile. Her jeans followed shortly after, along with all of Diesel’s clothing. Together they stood naked just inside the hotel room door, both using their hands to explore each other’s bodies.

Rachel loved the feel of him under her hands. Of course, she also loved the feel of him inside of her. And that was exactly where Diesel planned to be.

Diesel lifted her up and carried her to the bed, placing her in the center. Slowly, he crawled up the bed and between her legs.

“How wet are you?” He asked, voice husky with need.

Wet enough,” Rachel answered, smiling wickedly.

Diesel positioned himself at her entrance. Using her own wetness, he rubbed the head of his dick along her slit.

In one smooth, slow stroke, he entered her. Rachel’s moan filled every empty space in the large room. She had never felt anything as good as the feel of Diesel buried deep inside her.

“So beautiful. And such a tight little pussy,” Diesel whispered in her ear.

The erotic words he professed turned her on like nothing ever had before. The feel of Diesel surrounding her, inside her, was euphoric.

  “Harder,” she moaned.

“Oh yeah?” Diesel increased the speed and depth of his thrust.

The soreness was soon forgotten as Rachel body started to tingle. She could feel the tension spreading and knew it wouldn’t be long before her orgasm hit. Faster, harder they came together. Biting, kissing, nails crawling down Diesel’s back. This wasn’t like the first time. This time, it was more desperate. More needed. Rachel’s nipples rubbed against Diesel’s chest, the sensation adding to the feelings already consuming her.

Diesel reached up and yanked Rachel’s head further back into the bed and bit down on the area where her shoulder met her neck. The combination was too much for her.

  “Shit!” Rachel screamed.

“That’s it baby girl. Come with me,” Diesel ordered.

With one final pounding stroke, Diesel exploded inside of her. Collapsing beside her on the bed, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her with just as much desperation.

“Are you okay?” Rachel asked, concerned

  “I am now,” Diesel answered.

  Chapter Twenty-Three

  Diesel

Diesel and Rachel woke early the next morning, both wanting to get home as soon as possible. The ride back was filled with tension. Diesel’s home was important to his and Rachel’s future. With the constant threat against her, she would never go back to the compound. The only way he would be able to keep her is if he had a home for her to feel safe in.

  “Marcus, what’s wrong?” Rachel asked.

  “Nothing,” he lied.

“Then why are you so quiet?”

  “Just thinking.”
