  About the Author

Although born in Germany, 17 years ago Marion found the home of her heart and soul in Puerto Rico and this work is her tribute to the Island of Enchantment.

After having lived in Okinawa, Japan; Beijing, China; and various U.S. states, including nine years in Miami Beach, Florida, Marion currently makes her home in Simi Valley, California.

As sometimes life is what happens while you're making other plans, instead of having the four children she always dreamed of having (including the Mexican boy from this novel), Marion is grateful for her friends, who have always supported her; for her parents, sister and brothers; and for her books and paintings, which have given, and keep giving her, much joy and satisfaction.
