Well, I know for sure Tammy is going to drink and I need a drink, so we won’t be driving. And I’m pretty sure Joe will have a drink or two.
“How about we take a cab? That way we don’t have to worry about who drinks and who drives us.”
Nodding his head, “That works. So I will meet you at your place at eight thirty. We should get there around nine; the place will be packed since its opening night.”
I head back to work, I see that I have half an hour till I finish work, and then I’ve got to get home and get ready for a night on the town with Tammy and Joe. Tammy will be happy. She hasn’t seen Joe in a while; they’ve always been good friends. That is how I got the job in the first place was because of my sister.
As soon as the last customer leaves, I wipe down the table they were sitting at and head to the cash register. I pull out all my tips, forty-five dollars. Pretty good day if I must say so myself. I’m lucky to get thirty in tips most days. Today there was a swarm of college kids, middle aged couples, and old men coming just for their afternoon coffee.
I say goodbye to Maureen and Sarah, Sarah did well today for her first day; she didn’t make any mistakes. As I head to my car, I check my phone to see if I’ve received a text, there is one new text message; smiling thinking it’s from Ace. It's Tammy letting me know that Joe texted her about tonight, and she will pick up some booze to have before we go, seeing the text message my shoulders slump forward.
I have a feeling that Ace doesn’t want to be bothered, well I can’t be bothered either. I am not going to sit around home waiting for him to decide ‘Oh today I will get with Alison’ well fuck that.
As I get home, I make my way to our apartment door and try to turn the handle; it’s locked. Well, I guess Tammy isn’t home yet from her booze run.
Grabbing my keys from my purse, I unlock the door. I lock the door once I close it, putting my keys on the counter in the kitchen. I head to the bathroom for my shower.
I can’t keep my mind from wandering; I think of Ace and the kiss, him not texting or calling. I can’t dwell on the fact that he probably decided I’m not worth the effort.
Once I have finished my shower, I head to my room to see if I have anything to wear. Just as I get my closet door open, Tammy bursts into my room, my hand is on my chest, and my heart is pounding so hard.
“Ahhh, Jesus Tammy. You scared the shit out of me.”
She’s laughing her ass off. “Sorry didn’t mean to scare you,” She says between laughs.
I start throwing shirts on my bed, looking to see if there is anything okay for tonight. Tammy is sitting there looking at the pile shaking her head.
“Alison I know for a fact that you have something sexy to wear, I know because I got it for your birthday last year and you’ve never even worn it. You need to live a little.”
I roll my eyes, God she can be a pain in my ass. The dress she wants me to wear is shorter than hell, and it's skin tight, the only thing I like about it, is that it’s my favorite color blue! Tammy grabs the dress out of my closet and hands it to me.
“Go... Try… It…On… Now.” I grab the dress from her hands.
“Fine, I’ll try it on, happy?” My tone playful but yet annoyed.
“Yes, now move your ass. Joe will be here soon, and I want to get a shot or two in before we leave.” I make my way to the bathroom to try on the dress, hoping it doesn’t look too bad. I really need to go shopping to get some nice clothes. Don’t get me wrong, I have lots of clothes but nothing fancy or sexy.
Stepping into my bedroom, Tammy is playing with her phone and doesn’t hear me. Clearing my throat, Tammy whips her head around and stares at me, her jaw drops.
“Holy shit, my baby sister is fucking hot.”
I feel my cheeks getting hot. I don’t get what the big deal is with this dress. I still look like me. Shaking my head, I walk around to my full-length mirror, closing my eyes just before I reach it, taking a deep breath I open my eyes.
“Holy shit,” I gasp out.
I don’t even know what to say; I’m speechless. Tammy’s right; this dress is amazing on me.
Tammy insists that I have to get my hair and make-up done. She takes over and gets me ready for our night out. When we’re all done, I look into the mirror staring at myself I’m totally blown away. “Thanks, Tammy” I say as we head to the kitchen for a couple of shots before we go.
Tammy grabs two shot glasses and puts them in front of her; she grabs the tequila bottle. Oh shit! Tequila and I don’t mix very well. Not because I get sick from it, but because I get wild, I tend to loosen up more.
Tammy is on a mission tonight to get me to stop thinking about Ace. She knows that I haven’t heard from him, and she is pissed off. She hasn’t heard from Viper either, but that hasn’t stopped her from going out and having fun, so why should it stop me?
Just thinking of Ace makes me upset about not hearing from him, damn it. I don’t like feeling this way. As I reach for the bottle of tequila, I fill my shot glass once more, licking the salt off my hand, I down the shot and grab the lime and bite down.
God this stuff will mess me up if I keep taking shots. Tammy is texting away on her phone with God knows who.
“Alison, Joe is here. He’s outside waiting for us, come on let's go.” I pout, so much for taking another shot.
The ride to the club was full of laughter as Joe was telling jokes, Tammy is laughing as well. Joe tries to tell the jokes without laughing but he is failing horribly.
I sit here trying to listen to the song on the radio, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s good. I bob my head to the beat. I’m itching to dance; I can’t remember the last time I was out dancing. Tonight I need to have some fun, dance and drink and not worry about anything.
The cab pulls up to the club, the big sign over the club door flashes “Club Edge.” There is a line up outside that goes around the block. Damn, we’re going to be waiting for a while to get in.
Walking toward the back of the line, I hear someone yell “Tammy, baby, is that you?” Turning to see who it was I hear Tammy squeal. She runs and gives the bouncer a hug.
Walking over to them, I stand there looking between the two of them, Joe’s behind me with his arm around my waist. I am not sure if I should just push his arm away or just leave it. The shots I’ve had are catching up with me.
I’m tingly, not paying attention to Joe, I focus on Tammy, “Tammy, come on. We have to wait in line if we’re ever going to get into the club tonight.”
Just then the bouncer looks at me and then Tammy, “Shit, is this the baby sister you have told me about?”
Tammy nods. “Yup, she’s the pain in my ass.” I nudge Tammy with my arm.
“Hey I’m not a pain,” I mumble.
Tammy starts laughing; the bouncer motions us to the front of the line and grabs the rope that is stopping the herd of people from entering.
“You girls don’t have to wait in line, go on in.”
Tammy gives him a kiss on the cheek, “There’s Joe too. He’s with us.” The bouncer nods to Joe to enter.
“Thanks, Grant,” Tammy shouts over the music that is seeping out of the club doors.
Getting inside the club, it’s dark but not too dark. The lights over the dance floor are flashing, and there are lights over the bar area. There are stairs going up to a balcony that overlooks the dance floor. This place looks amazing.
Tammy grabs my arm pulling me toward the bar, pushing past the people dancing. Joe is following close behind us. The music is blaring. Tammy finds an open spot at the bar; she waves the money to get the bartender’s attention.
Tammy orders our drinks, as soon as we get them we down them, because I want to get on the dance floor. The music is pumping, and I want to shake my booty and forget about everything that is bothering me, forget mainly about Ace.
Joe asks me if I would like to dance, nodding; we head to the dance floor.
Show Me by Kid Ink is playing. God I love this son
g. Joe grabs me by the hand and twirls me around and bears me to him, turning me around so my ass is on his lap as we dance. The alcohol running through my veins is giving me the courage to dance with Joe like this.
On a normal day, I wouldn’t be able to. Joe is grinding into my ass, and I feel his erection pushing into my ass. Oh my God, my head is hazy; my body is starting to get numb! Closing my eyes, I envision Ace being the one that is grinding into me.
I felt a hand on my waist snaking around to my stomach rubbing little circles. Lending my head back, swaying to the music. I’m lost in the moment. I don’t know how long we have been dancing, but I hear an angry voice.
“Get. Your. Fucking. Hands. Off. Her.” The angry voice hisses out.
I whip my head around so fast that my head starts to spin, my eyes grow wide. Standing there looking really pissed off is Ace; his jaw is clenching as he’s glaring at Joe.
Ace clutches my arm and pulls me away from Joe. Joe circles around to see who has pulled me away, once he sees that it’s Ace, his face is full of hatred.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing grabbing Alison?” Ace grunts in response and starts pulling me with him.
Joe isn’t done, he walks right up to us and grabs my other arm, “Hey man, we were dancing, so back off.” Ace looks like he’s ready to kill.
“Listen here, motherfucker; I can take my girlfriend anywhere I want too.”
Joe’s mouth drops open, and he’s trying to speak, but it seems he can’t form any words. Ace huffs as he shakes his head, bringing me with him toward the stairs; we head upstairs to the VIP section. Sitting down on the couch, I hear the music blaring.
I’m not sure what to do, looking down at my feet, my nerves are on edge. I haven’t seen or spoken to him in over a week. He doesn’t say a word to me; he heads to the bar and gets a beer, taking a long gulp.
Walking toward the couch, he takes a seat in front of me on a chair, I look up, and I see him staring at me. “What the hell was that? You were grinding your ass on his cock! If you don’t remember, you’re mine! You shouldn’t be dancing with anyone like that but me.”
Something inside me just snaps, who the hell, does he think he is, telling me who I can dance with. He is the one that hasn’t contacted me in over a week. I am not putting up with this, hell no.
“Who do you think you are? You haven’t contacted me in over a week. No call, no text message? What do you want me to think? We were dancing, so what! I haven’t heard from you, so I assumed you changed your mind about us.”
I’m so fucking annoyed. I’m not sure what the hell he wants from me; I haven’t heard a single thing from him. Does he only want me when it’s convenient for him? Bastard, if he thinks I’m just a booty call for him whenever he decides, he has another thing coming.
“Peaches, I can explain why I haven’t been able to contact you this past week.” Just hearing him use my pet name he gave me makes me wince, I feel utterly agitated.
“Don’t call me that; you lost the right to call me that. I told you I would give you a chance, and look what happened. I don’t hear from you for a week,” I shoot out quick so I don’t lose the nerve to tell him how I’m feeling.
“And you think you can just come back, and everything will be the way it was before you left without a word? Well listen here, and listen fucking good… Because I’m not some fucking piece of ass you can get whenever you feel like it. I have feelings, and you didn’t give two shits about them when you were off God knows doing what.”
Ace runs his hands down his face and sighs.
“Alison, I’m telling you this once, so listen to me.” He says as he runs his fingers through his hair.
“Club business, and before you ask. No, I can’t tell you, but I want you to know I haven’t forgotten about you. I am really sorry for not contacting you. I am truly fucking sorry, Peaches.”
Club business, why do I have a feeling it’s something shady. I’m not sure what to do; I’m torn about what I should do. Should I just say ‘fuck it’ and walk away now, or do I believe him and believe that we can work this out? I’m so fucking confused right now.
“So say that I believe you were away for club business or whatever, how do I know you weren’t fucking around with anyone? You have to see this from my point of view, Ace; you were GONE, no call nothing. I just don’t know; I can’t even think about this right now. I’ve been drinking; I just want to leave and go home.”
Ace’s face crumbles. “I swear on my father’s life; I have not been with anyone since I met you. I’ve told you already, and I will say it again, I don’t want anyone but you. I want to get to know you; I want to see where this can go before you end something that could be fucking amazing. You should have a little more confidence in me.”
“Fine, say I give you the benefit of the doubt. What then? Will this happen again? Not hearing from you for a week or more at a time, because, Ace, I’m telling you right now, I. Won’t. Sit. Around. Waiting.”
Ace curses as he gets up and sits beside me on the couch, he grabs my hand. “I promise, I will let you know when I have to leave, I’m sorry I'm not used to reporting to anyone about anything. I’m new to this whole relationship thing.” Looking at him, I study his face. His eyes look sincere.
My mind is going over so many things right now; I know he hasn’t been in this situation before, never having a girlfriend, but do I want to chance it again? I was like a ghost of a person walking around for a week, but at the same time can I just walk away not knowing.
Ace must notice the hesitation, and before I know it, he has my face in his hands, and he’s kissing the ever loving shit out of me.
I moan as I feel his tongue push against my lips trying to gain access. I gasp as I part my lips he shoves his tongue in massaging his tongue with mine. It’s slow and sensual at first then it turns hungry, as he devours my mouth.
I’m lost in his kiss; it’s like I’m starving for his lips. Pulling back from the kiss, I stand up I lean Ace back, straddling his lap. I grip his shoulders and start grinding on him, I feel his member start to thicken against my panties.
Ace tilts his head back and moans, leaning forward I start licking his neck, hearing his breathing quicken. He starts to grind against me as well, and it’s so hot.
“Fuck, you feel so good grinding that pussy of yours on my dick, Peaches,” He moans out as he grabs my hips, moving his hips to grind into me harder.
I feel alive; I want nothing more but to fuck him right here, but I know we can’t, I’m not thinking clearly. The alcohol is talking, not me.
Lost in the moment of lust, someone clears their throat loudly. Feeling as if someone dropped a bucket of ice cold water on me, just as I freeze, Ace’s hands on my hips tighten. Oh my God, I’m pretty much dry fucking him on a couch at a club.
I’m so embarrassed; I didn't even think that someone could catch us. I'm confounded to turn to see who is standing there looking at us, but I know I have to face the music, turning my head to peek, Viper is standing there with a huge grin on his face.
“Well, what do we have here?” Viper leans against the bar grabbing a cold beer.
“I wondered where you two took off to. Your sister is looking for you, Alison.”
Shit, how long have we been up here? I don’t have a clue. Ace grumbles. “Viper, get the fuck downstairs, we’ll be there in a bit.” Viper laughs shaking his head and heads downstairs.
“Ace, we should go downstairs. My sister is looking for me.” Feeling shy about what just happened, I keep my head down. Ace grabs my chin and tilts my face up so he can look at my face.
“Hayden,” He says. I’m confused as I open my mouth to ask him he means, he beats me too it. “That’s my real name. Ace is my road name.”
“Hayden.” I test the sound on my tongue.
Ace groans, “Fuck, hearing my name leaving your lips is so fucking hot.”
Blushing like crazy, I get off of Ace, he fixes himself, looking down I can see he h
as a very big bulge in the front of his jeans. Ace tells me to go downstairs and look for my sister, that he will be down soon; he needs a few minutes. Giggling, I head toward the stairs. I go and search for Tammy.
Once I make it downstairs, I walk around for a bit, and then I feel someone tap my shoulder. Spinning around, I come face to face with Joe.
“Where were you? I went off to look for you, but I couldn’t find you.” My cheeks are blushing beet red.
“I was with Ace upstairs, we were talking.” Hell he doesn’t need to know what we were exactly doing.
He stands there shaking his head, “Why were you with Ace? He’s bad news, Alison. You shouldn’t be around him; he sleeps with anything that fucking moves.” Hearing Joe bash Ace is pissing me off.
“Joe, you don’t even know Ace, and we are just hanging out. We are trying to start a relationship, and I’m not talking about friendship.”
Joe’s mouth drops open, and he’s gawking at me. He’s about to say something when Ace shows up, he walks behind me and puts his arms around my waist, and he leans his head on my shoulder, staking his claim.
Joe’s eyes go wide with shock, he’s about to say something, but Ace cuts him off with a deadly glare. Joe shakes his head in defeat and leaves.
Ace leans close to my ear. “You’re mine, Peaches.” What a cave man, is he going to beat his chest and bring me to his den next?
“Let’s go get a drink,” he whispers in my ear, his breath on me is giving me shivers.
Making our way to the bar to get our drinks, I see Tammy is with Viper dancing. I’m happy they are working out whatever is going on with them. Finishing our drinks, Ace grabs my hand, and we head to the dance floor. He pulls me close to him, and we sway together to the beat.
He grabs my hips and grinds my ass into him, hearing him groan is so fucking hot. After the song is done, Tammy comes up to me letting me know that she is leaving. She turns to Ace, “You better make sure my sister gets home.”
He nods his understanding. I give Tammy a quick hug then she turns and leaves with Viper.
I’m starting to get tired; Ace decides it’s time to leave. Heading to Ace’s motorcycle, he hands me a helmet. I put it on; he’s on the bike waiting for me to get on. I step onto the peg and push myself up and lean into Ace to swing my leg over to sit right behind him.
