Marina shrugged. “Not exactly, we got carried away during lunch.” She made a face. “It wasn’t as good as you always talk about, though.”

Jasmine grinned. “Not the first time. It’s the times after that are good.” She drew her brows together in confusion. “Did he take you back to his house?”

Marina shook her head. “No, he just had me bend over his desk and he stuck it in me from behind.” Maybe if he’d taken her home with him, maybe it would have been better.

Jasmine frowned. “He didn’t take any time with you?”

“No. It felt good toward the end, but at the beginning it really hurt. And then he was done.” She hoped her sister had good advice for her.

“It’s always better after the first time.” She eyed her sister. “Did you talk at all?”

“Well, yes, after, he gave me a dollar and instructions to go to Francesa’s on 5. I think it was to buy trousseau items.”

“He gave you a dollar?” Jasmine’s nostril’s flared, and she got very stiff. “He gave you a dollar and sent you to Francesa’s.”

“Oh yes, she’s very nice, and says she’s a friend of yours. She picked things out for me and said we would put it on his account. He must have planned it out to surprise me. It was odd though, when I first walked in, she called me his ‘Monday Girl’, whatever that is.” Marina shrugged. ”I mean, it makes so much more sense now, he wanted me to get the things before Monday, so he must want to get married next week!”

Jasmine rubbed her brow and stared at her naïve sister“Marina, did he say anything about marrying you today?”

Marina frowned at Jasmine. “Why are you being so silly, he’s not a cad, he said he would take care of me and we’d have lunch on Monday!”

Jasmine buried her face in her hands.

“Well, it doesn’t matter, you know, because the Genesee twins invited me to their Wednesday lunch, and I’ll just stay after for a moment. That will make you feel better, surely?”

Jasmine looked up at her sister, who was staring at her so earnestly.

“Of course, Marina, I’m sure I’m being silly. Just know that I will always take care of you, no matter what.”

Marina took care to dress her hair on Wednesday.

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure everything is cleared up to your satisfaction. I don’t like you to worry! Will you be home for dinner tonight?”

“Yes, I’m going to stay home tonight, make a special dinner for us. Feel free to invite Michael.”

Before she stepped out of the house, she hugged Jasmine.

The factory was buzzing when Marina clocked in, and it seemed like everyone was staring at her. For a moment, she panicked, did they know about what happened in the back on Monday with Michael? Were they going to make it difficult to keep working until they were married? But a teary-eyed woman, Lucy, stormed out of Michael’s office, her last pay packet clutched in her hand.

The Genesee twins started whispering beside her. Marina’s knew with the factory down a girl on the floor, it was going to be a hard shift. But she would not be skipping lunch and the chance to clear things up with Michael. And Lucy was the girl who ate lunch with Michael on Tuesday, something really bad must have happened in her section to make Michael let her go.

Marina was finally able to pull herself away from her machine. Goodness, she was really late for lunch. The twins had already headed up to Michael’s office. Good thing they had asked for a moment, as Marina hated being late. She grabbed her lunch pail and skipped up the steps.

She tapped on the door as she slipped in, closing the door behind her, “Sorry for being late…”, she stopped, shocked by what she saw.

Michael had both kneeling in front of him, his hands buried in their beautiful blond hair as he thrust his cock in and out of their mouths. Marina dropped her lunch pail and gasped. Michael looked up and kept thrusting.

“Oh, you naughty girl, did you want to join us?”

“Michael, what…but…I don’t understand. I thought we were to be wed.” Marina couldn’t help but wail at the sight of what she thought was her future husband into the mouth, no mouths of two other women. He kept staring at Marina, closed his eyes, and grunted as he exploded into one of the women’s mouths. He pulled out of her and tucked himself into his pants.

“You silly girl, you thought what I wanted you to think. I was just setting you for the life you were meant to live, a whore like your sister. As if I would marry a factory girl. My fiancée is from a good family. You’re just my Monday girl.” The twins stood up, straightening their hair, staring at her with hard eyes. She realized they set her up to catch him, to have the mist pulled out of her eyes. “Don’t think that you can run off tattling to my fiancée, you’ll just end up like Lucy. You won’t find a much better job than this factory.” He flipped coins at Helena and Shirley. “Besides, you’ll get a nice bonus on Mondays now. So, unless you plan on servicing me now, get back on the floor. In fact, I think I should call on you, Monday. You’ll leave after lunch and prepare youself. I’d like to see the very expensive things you managed to get Francesa to charge to my account.” Marina stared into his eyes, trying to find the warmth and kindness of the man she’d been dining with, but his once twinkling blue eyes, were stone hard. “I think I’ll get my money’s worth out of you.” Marina turned to flee. “Oh Marina, don’t think I won’t, I’ll have you blackballed at every factory in this city. I’ll see you bright and early, Monday morning.”

She looked back once, but his face was implacable and hard, and she fled back to the floor.

Somehow, she made it through the rest of the work day, in a numb blur. Shirley stopped her as she clocked out, and whispered harshly into her ear. “I’m so sorry, Marina. We just didn’t want you to get hurt any worse. We thought he might not, when he realize how innocent you really were.” Marina pulled away from her, from the sympathy in her eyes. “I’ll be fine. But there is no way I’m letting him put his thing in me again.” And she fled home, to where she prayed Jasmine really could make it all ok again.

Marina burst into the house, startling Jasmine, who had been reclining on the settee. Jasmine took one look at Marina’s tear-soaked face and pulled her into her arms, sitting down with her. Marina wailed against Jasmine, shaking, until she was finally spent.

“Oh Jasmine, you were right, you were right the whole time. I am such a silly, naïve fool. I just…I just wanted to be loved, to have a family, is that so wrong? Why would he do such things, why would he trick me like that?” Jasmine rocked Marina against her chest.

“Oh, my sweet, some men, they like to pluck innocent fruit. It’s a challenge. They don’t care about your hopes and dreams.”

“Oh, Jasmine, he’s…he’s going to make me keep doing it, he said I’d never get any other work, he’s made sure of it.”

Jasmine pulled back from Marina, and made her look into her eyes. “No Marina, you do not have to go back there. You never have to go back there, to see him again.”

“But you’re moving out Jasmine, you’re leaving. I have to have another job right away, and you can’t support me if he does black ball me!”

“Please don’t be angry, but I…I set something up, just in case.”

“Are you going to make me be a gentleman’s companion? He said I was just another whore, like you. Oh my god, how does he know you? And why would he say such things?”

Jasmine shook Marina. “Pull yourself together. You deserve the family and the farm you’ve longed for since coming to this wretched city. And I’ve made it possible.”

“But, how does he know you? I don’t understand. Why has everyone known except me? Am I that stupid?”

“Marina, he’s the reason my husband died. And he’s right, I am a whore. And he’s the reason I didn’t get a chance for a respectable second chance, not after Jonas died. But I found you a second chance, if you want it.”

  Curiousi
ty finally overcame Marina’s hurt and sorrow. “What do you mean, second chance?”

Jasmine pulled out the envelope from George Maddix. “Marina, when you told me about Michael and thinking he was going to marry you, I wrote to an advertisement in the paper.”

“Jasmine, you aren’t making any sense.”

“I wrote to a man in Montana, looking for a bride. A mail order bride.”

“I thought you were moving in with one of your gentlemen. Are you going to Montana?”

“No, Marina, I’ll never be respectable like you will. I might not have made it to this life on purpose, but I do enjoy it. But you, even now, you deserve a chance at a good life. On a ranch. It won’t be a farm like Mama and Papa’s, but you’ll have a home and land and freedom.”

“Are you saying he won’t mind if I show up instead of you?”

Jasmine laughed at her sister. “I wrote him as you.” She handed her sister the advertisement.

“I can’t believe you did this.”

Jasmine looked worried, and rushed to explain, “I just, well, I hoped I was wrong and that you could be happy here, but just in case, I wanted to know you’d be taken care of. And if we didn’t need it, I would just write back to him and tell him so.”

Marina flung her arms around her sister. “You could still go out west, pretend to be me.”

“Don’t be silly! Like I could ever settle for one man!”

“How long til he writes back and we know? I don’t ever want to go back to that factory! All the girls, they know. They all know! And the twins. I guess they were trying to help me, but it hurt so much, seeing him with them. And his face, it was so cold and different. It was like a different man entirely.”

“You can leave tomorrow. I know it’s fast, but I have the train ticket in my room. We can run to the mercantile and then pack your trunk. George sent you the ticket and ten dollars.”

“And at least I got some beautiful things for my trousseau!”

They went to the store. Marina looked through the premade dresses with a smile. She’d never been able to buy a dress that was already made before, and today she had enough money to buy two of them.

Jasmine picked out a pretty lavender dress, with a full skirt, and held it up to Marina. “Oh, this color will look so pretty on you.”

“And the fabric is hearty, it will wear well. I have to think of such things now, if I’m going to be a rancher’s wife.”

“Oh Marina, I hate that you’re going away, I’m going to miss you so much.”

“I’ll miss you too, but, maybe this is all for the best, I hate the city and if I had to stay…” She let her words trail off, and Jasmine understood.

She picked up a dark blue dress and showed it to Jasmine. “This would be good for church if my new husband is a church-goer. I’m not normally, but I guess I will need to be if those things seem to matter to him. I really will be respectable.”

“Just promise you’ll still write to your fallen sister, no matter what?”

  “I swear!”

  Chapter Two

Marina got off the train in Billings and looked around her. She knew she still had a long stagecoach ride to go, but she was interested in where she’d be living. The coach was waiting for her, so she walked over and put her bag on the top. According to her ticket, she would spend a night in a small town called Smoke Lodge and arrive in Hope Springs the following morning. Even through her exhaustion, she was excited to meet George and get married. The long train ride had given her lots of time to reflect on Michael and the mistakes she’d made. She was determined to be a proper bride for George, to thank him for the new life she was going to make for herself.

When she got into the stagecoach, she realized she’d be riding with two men, both of them young and handsome. “Where are ya headed, ma’am?” the blond man asked. His eyes spent a lot longer than was proper on her breasts.

“Hope Springs. I’m a mail order bride and meeting my future husband there.” She smoothed her skirt down, simply to have something to do. “Where are you headed?”

“We’re stopping in Smoke Lodge,” the darker one told her.

She nodded to both of them, and settle into the seat across from them and let the motion of the coach rock her to sleep.

She knew she was dreaming, so let herself be bold. She would have to be so proper with her new husband, so she let herself fantasize. Ever since her experience with Michael, she’d found herself fascinated by men’s penises. She couldn’t help but glance down at the men’s laps to try to see the bulges in their pants. As she stared, the darker man’s penis started growing in his pants, and her eyes widened.

The stagecoach was moving fast by that point, and she swallowed hard as she met the darker man’s eyes. He cupped himself and stroked his member through his pants. “Does that feel good?” Marina asked. She was so curious about penises, wondering how they felt to the men and what they would feel like in her hand. She was so mad that Michael used her, and didn’t even let her at least explore her curiosity.

He laughed. “It would feel better if you came over here and sat on my lap while we rode.” The tone of his voice made it clear he wanted her, it was the same thickening, raspy tone that happened to Michael. In her dream state, it almost sounded like him, like how it should have gone with him. She tried to guide her dream back to propriety, but she burned hot on the inside, and shivered.

“You mean let you poke it in me?” She shook her head. “I don’t even know your name!” She was tempted, though. It would be nice to see if it hurt again before she met George, and George did want an adventurous widow. At least that’s what Jasmine had said. Maybe she didn’t need to be that proper with him.

“I’m Sam and this is my friend, Brian.” He unbuttoned the front of his slacks, letting his cock pop free. “Now you know my name. Come ride me, sweetheart.” He gave his cock a stroke, making it grow even harder.

Marina stared at his member, standing up proud from his lap. They were out of town, so no one would see them through the windows, but if she let Sam poke her would Brian want a turn? “I’m Marina,” she told them as she moved across the seat to Sam, finally relaxing into her delicious dream and making the decision to give him a try. What could it hurt? She lifted her skirt as she moved across the open space settling on his lap facing him, her knees on either side of his hips. “Like this?”

Sam nodded smiling. “Just like that, darlin’.” He reached down and guided his member to her entrance, and when he was positioned right, he put his hands on her shoulders and pushed down embedding himself fully inside her. “You’re awfully tight.”

She held onto his shoulders, realizing she’d been wet just from staring at their laps. The stagecoach hit a rut in the road, bouncing her up and down, and she moaned loudly. “That feels so good!” It didn’t hurt at all. She hoped George liked to have relations, because she could see herself staying after him to do this with her.

Sam grinned. “The best thing about sex in a stagecoach is the road does most of the work for you.” His hands were on her hips, working her up and down on him.

Marina was self-conscious about the noises she wanted to make with another man in the coach with them, but when she glanced over at Brian, he was sitting with his cock in his lap, stroking it. She wondered if he’d want to take a turn with her as well. And she wondered if she’d want to let him. The idea was certainly appealing, but how would it feel to have both of them pounding into her one after the other?

Sam cupped her breasts in his hands, bringing her attention back to the man inside her. She could feel the tension building in her box again, wondering where it would lead. Her breaths came faster and faster until she was panting, feeling that she was about to burst, and suddenly he gave a grunt and buried himself inside her one last time before throwing his head back and stopping.

She sat for a moment frustrated that she hadn’t found what she’d been looking for. She could feel his juices leaking out of her, and she wanted to
scream. What was it that she was waiting for? What was supposed to happen to her?

She looked over at Brian, still stroking his member and staring at her. Without a second’s hesitation, she lifted herself off of Sam and aligning herself with Brian’s cock, she lowered herself onto him. She moaned, immediately raising and lowering herself, trying to find the elusive sensation again. Alas, it was beyond her. Brian let out a yell, and spilled his seed.

She sat on his lap for a moment, more frustrated than she’d ever imagined being. If this was how sex worked, she really didn’t understand what Jasmine liked about it so much. Finally, she moved off his lap and back to her seat, using her petticoat to clean herself, not meeting the gaze of either of the men. They’d reached their pleasure, but hadn’t let her reach hers. Hadn’t they ever heard the term, “Ladies first?” Even in her dreams, she couldn’t find the release that Jasmine assured her was possible.

  ~ * ~ * ~

She woke suddenly, flushed, with both men staring at her. There was a hunger in their eyes, so she stayed awake the rest of the drive, not trusting herself to keep it a dream. Not another word was spoken between Marina and the two men in the coach with her.

Once she was in her hotel for the evening, she asked for a bath to be brought to her room. She was so dirty from her travels, and she wanted to be fresh for George. As she bathed, she played with her little pleasure button, seeing if she could make the magic she was feeling finish, but it just didn’t seem to work for her. She just felt more and more frustrated.

She went to bed angry with the world hoping against hope that George would have the answers and be able to make her body sing with satisfaction.

  Chapter Three

It was only another two hours the following morning before they reached Hope Springs. When she got out of the stage coach, there was a lone man standing waiting. He had dark hair, almost black, and brown eyes. He was also huge. The biggest man she’d ever seen in her life.

“Are you Marina?” the man asked. His voice was deep and sent a tingle up her spine.
