   ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
   Dear Reader
This is the second book in my new Tindledale series and I really hope it puts a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. My first thanks goes, as always, to all of you, my darling friends and readers, who chat to me on Facebook and Twitter, or who send me messages and emails: you’re all so inspiring and your kindness and cheerleading spur me on through it all. Writing books can get lonely sometimes, but having you all is like a family, and this means the world to me. Thank you so very much xxx
Special thanks and gratitude to my agent, Tim Bates, for always having my back and telling me what’s normal. Many thanks and appreciation, as always, to my wonderful editor and friend, Kate Bradley, for being so kind and funny and for getting me through the tricky times. Of course, none of the other stuff would happen without my dream team at HarperCollins, especially Kimberley Young, Katie Moss, Jaime Frost, Martha Ashby, Claire Palmer and Charlotte Brabbin, with their wonderful enthusiasm, energy and expertise. Penny Isaac for her copy editing skills.
Thanks to Lisa Cutts for the police stuff and to Samantha Bowles for talking to me about bee keeping and for giving me a jar of her delicious Burwash Honey.
Thanks always to my dear friends Caroline Smailes and Lisa Hilton, your kindness and continued support is what also keeps me going xxx
My darling QT, and husband Paul, aka Cheeks, for taking yourselves off for coffee and cake so that I could write – I couldn’t do any of this without you both, thank you and lots of love xoxoxoxo
Now, sit back, slip off your shoes, slap on the suncream and pour yourself a large glass of Pimm’s. Luck and love to you, and wishing you all a wonderful summer,
   Alex xxx
