The Seventh Floor Page 11
by James Murphy
In a fit of self-righteous pride, James went sprinting down the south wing of the Seventh Floor towards the window at the end of the hall. He was about to get the ultimate one-up on Dr. Chode. James went crashing through the window. All the plants on the hillside took notice and feared the worst. Thunder rolled, and lightening struck. Paahsaakii looked to the sky with a solemn face and reverence in his soul as James fell seven floors to what should have been his ultimate death. Rain poured from the sky for the first time in over a month, and the greenbrier, maples, cacti, and grass wore the face of James.
