“Well, maybe you’re not doing it right, because she hasn’t accepted your collar or ring yet. Maybe she would like a real Jenkins to show her how it’s supposed to be done,” Matthew coolly said, taking a step closer.
And that was all it took. Andrew reached back and punched his brother in the face. Before she could utter the word stop, the Jenkins brothers of Treasure Cover were throwing each other over cars and punching the living daylights out of each other.
Andrew reared back, slamming his fist into Matthew gut, causing a loud oof, but that didn’t stop Matthew. Quickly gaining his composure, he charged Andrew, hitting him with his shoulder in the stomach, lifting his brother off the ground and slamming him hard on the roof of his BMW.
Holy fuck! This wasn’t happening. Running back into the diner, she screamed. “Tomas! Call the sheriff now!”
Running back outside, she was shocked to find Matthew and Andrew each bloody.
Damn, they were going to kill each other, she thought as she walked down the steps but stayed far enough away from them. Neither one was letting up. As the fists continued to fly, Macie watched as Braxton Connelly and Brannon Kincaid came running out of the sheriff’s office. When they couldn’t break the brothers apart, Braxton grabbed his gun, pointed it straight up in the air, and fired.
Bang!
Jumping at the sound of the shot, Macie stepped back as Matthew and Andrew quickly moved apart.
“What in the blue blazes is wrong with you two?” Braxton shouted, walking over to them.
“They were fighting over a parking spot Braxton,” Macie said, quickly jumping into the conversation.
“Macie Lynn Owens, I would shut your mouth before I gag it!” Matthew ordered firmly.
Andrew reared back and punched his brother in the face again. “She is mine!”
“You don’t own me, Matthew Aaron Jenkins. So fuck off!” she shouted back.
“But I do, so zip it, woman,” Andrew ordered in that tone that brooked no argument. She was beginning to hate that tone.
Before Macie could utter another word, Braxton held up his hand and pointed at the brothers. “Enough! You two, off to jail you go for public stupidity and for causing my coffee to get cold, and you,” the sheriff said, looking at her, “better shut that mouth before I spank you.”
“The hell you will!” Both Matthew and Andrew yelled.
“Then stop acting like fools and take charge of her,” Braxton grumbled, motioning for Andrew and Matthew to follow.
“Don’t worry, Braxton. I will have her over my knee by morning,” Matthew said loud enough for all to hear. Macie huffed and walked away.
“Touch her and I will kick your ass again,” Andrew said, turning once again to his brother.
Back in the diner, Macie watched as Matthew and Andrew continued to bicker and push each other all the way to the sheriff’s station. The scene they had just caused in front of her diner had attracted several patrons, which were now gossiping and pointing fingers her way. She cringed when she saw Ms. Van Ottoman looking at her.
She hated that old bat. Ever since she moved to Treasure Cove, that old woman had literally made her life a living hell, and thanks to Tweedledee and Stupid, her life was about to get more hectic. When the doorbell chimed, Macie didn’t have to look up to know who it was. She could smell the vicious bitch a mile away. “Ms. Owens. How are you, my dear?”
“I’m fine, Ms. Van Ottoman. What can I get for you today?”
“Oh, I just wanted you to know that the building inspector will be stopping by today. It is time for your annual inspection. I hope that everything is still up to code.”
“It is, Ms. Van Ottoman.”
“Good, now, for that little display in the front outside. I must say Ms. Owens, I did expect more from you. This is a place of business, not a brothel. You must represent this town with integrity. As a business owner, your small diner must adhere to the bylaws and code of ethics this town prides itself on. Please make sure it doesn’t happen again. I would hate for the city council to fine you.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Now, if you would be so gracious, I would like lemonade, three lemons, and a dash of sugar. Not that cheap sugar you serve the other customers, but the good kind, and I will take it to go.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Macie murmured, hurrying into the kitchen to get what the bitch requested. It took everything in her not to spit in her drink. Who the fuck did she think she was, dictating to her how she ran her business? Her diner was very respectable, and what happened outside her place of business wasn’t her fault. Grabbing the glass, and a packet of sugar, she plastered a smile on her face before handing Ms. Van Ottoman her drink. “Is there anything else I can get you?”
“Yes, actually there is. You can stay away from Andrew and Matthew Jenkins.”
Chapter Five
Matthew sat across from Andrew watching him type something into his computer. It had been almost a month since he and Andy were arrested in front of Macie’s Diner. Since then, Macie had literally banned them both from her place of business. He knew he had upset her with the fight in all, but neither he nor Andy thought that she would actually refuse them entrance to her diner. To make matters worse, she would not answer her phone when they called. When they happened to see her around town, she would quickly turn the other way and flee as if her ass was on fire.
He didn’t know what was going on, but he damn sure wanted to find out. He had talked to her cousin Jeff, and he didn’t even know what happened. With no other choice, Matthew enlisted his help. He was taking a big gamble with this, and he really didn’t know how she was going to react, but he had to try something, and if backing her into a wall to get some answers was his only option, he was going to do it.
“Andy, you have to go. Macie is going to be there.”
“She doesn’t want to see us. She made that clear.”
“No, she is running. She is scared. We just have to make her understand that we are not going anywhere.”
“You mean that you are not going anywhere. I never left.”
“Oh for fuck’s sake! Can we please move past that? You know why I left. I just need to explain it to Macie.”
“She won’t listen.”
“That’s why I need you to go with me tonight. With you there, she will.”
“You do understand this isn’t going to work, right?”
“And what if it does?”
“She won’t choose, Matthew. I know her.”
“And she won’t have to, if you get that stick out of your ass and come with me tonight.”
“You don’t get it, do you? Macie doesn’t want us. She doesn’t want to get married, and she doesn’t want to be claimed.”
“Then we change her mind.”
“How, by fucking her to death?”
“Exactly.”
Matthew had talked with Jeff earlier in the day. Jeff let it slip that he and his brother were having a coming-out diner to introduce Janie into the BDSM lifestyle. As a master in the lifestyle himself, he was happy to find that Treasure Cove had its very own BDSM club. Thanks to Andy, he met the owner of the Pleasure Cove, Gabriel Sexton, and was offered a tour of the club. It didn’t take him long to transfer his membership from his club in Los Angeles to The Pleasure Cave.
When Gabriel found out what it was Matthew actually did, well, he offered him an exclusive club membership in exchange for filtering out and doing background checks on future patrons. Part of the new exclusive benefits was welcoming new subs into the lifestyle, and tonight he planned on introducing Macie.
He had heard the rumors of Jeff and Caleb’s little librarian, and he couldn’t wait to make her acquaintance. But the icing on the cake was when Jeff told him that his cousin Macie would be there, not only serving food, but also to guide Janie on the protocols for being a submissive and host.
Verifying the clientele list at the Pleasure Cave, he had come across Macie’s name as a member. She had only been going to the
club for the last few years, but what shocked him the most was finding out his baby brother was a Master Dominant, and at times, helped Matthias train some of the new members. Other than that, what Andrew did at the club was classified, and only Gabriel had access to those files. He had wanted to ask his brother many times what it was he did, but he had never gotten the chance.
However, tonight, he needed to know. He needed to know exactly what his brother was into and if they would work well together. Because Matthew knew it was going to take both of them to Master Macie.
“Andy, I know you help train the Doms at the club. You even help train the submissives, but other than that, what do you do?” he asked cautiously. Andrew looked up, his face blank. A hardness Matthew had never seen deadened in Andrew’s eyes.
“What did Gabriel tell you?” his brother asked, his voice stern.
“That I should ask you.”
“Why do you want to know?”
“Macie is a member at the club. Have you ever worked with her?”
“No,” he growled.
“Does she know you’re a member?”
“No.”
“And you two never crossed paths?”
“No.”
“How come?”
“She is too soft. I would scare her.”
“How so?” Matthew asked. It was like pulling wisdom teeth! Damn, he wished his brother would just tell him.
Sighing, Andrew put down his pen and leaned back in his chair. “You know about the Dungeon Master. It’s his job to oversee all the scenes and activities within the dungeon.”
“That’s Matthias’s job.”
“I trained Matthias, and he is very good at what he does. So are the other Doms. I trained them all. When Gabriel built the club, he searched for a Master Dominant to work his club. He was in Seattle visiting the Den when he saw a scene I was doing. Only Gabriel didn’t know it was me. It took him almost a year to figure it out, but when he did, he offered me something I couldn’t pass up, and I have been volunteering ever since, so to speak.”
“But you are the only member of the club that has full access to the entire club, besides Gabriel.”
“And I will be the only one. The Pleasure Cave is more than you think, Matthew. Gabriel caters to all aspects of BDSM. I have read your bio, and I have watched you over the last few months at the club. You are a good Master. You’re patient and giving, good traits for a Dominant to have. But what I am, what I do, what I need, well, you could say I offer a different taste of the BDSM lifestyle. That is my specialty.”
“Do you think we will work well together?” Matthew asked, leaning forward.
“I don’t need a partner.”
“I know that, but if we want Macie, we are going to have to work together.”
“You’re not going to give up, are you?”
“No, and the brother I remembered wouldn’t either. I know you love her. Help me, Andy. If we work together, I know she will give in. She wants us, but she is just scared.”
“You realize we only have one shot at this. If we fail, there will never be a second chance, right?”
“Then we won’t fail.”
“Fine, you will take the lead. You are the oldest, and I don’t want to freak her out. I will follow your lead, only in this one time. If we fail, you will leave her alone, agreed?”
“Agreed.”
They met later that night out at the family farm. They showered and dressed in black leather pants with soft, pale-blue silk shirts, complementing their graying blond hair, and they headed out for a night of fun.
It had been a long time since the two of them worked together. However, this was the first time they worked together welcoming a new submissive into the lifestyle. Matthew knew that Andy gave him the lead. He still wondered what his brother’s kink was, and though Andy still refused to tell him, he was starting to piece everything together. There was more to baby brother than he admitted. Only time would tell if his suspicions were correct.
Matthew couldn’t wait to greet Janie, but his mind was solely on the one woman who was bound and determined to give them hell just for looking at her. It didn’t take long to arrive at the JC Ranch. After parking the car, they quietly walked up the steps, and Matthew firmly knocked on the door.
Smiling when Caleb opened the door and greeted them, Matthew watched as the Dom stepped aside and let them enter his home. He was greeting Gabriel and Braxton when Macie sauntered into the room dressed in a black velvet corset, which barely covered her overflowing cleavage. Her tiny waist was accentuated by a thick white ribbon, which tied in a bow low on her back. Her long, shapely legs were encased in silky black thigh-highs with a black seam running up the back that made them look a mile long. Her white gloves that covered her hands stopped at her elbows, and a very sexy pair of black four-inch strappy heels finished off her attire.
She looked divine.
Matthew held his breath. He knew this night was either going to be a success or going to end with a trip to the emergency room. Praying for the latter, he watched as she stopped dead in her tracks, shouting at Jeff and Caleb. “What the hell are they doing here?”
“Macie my dear, how lovely you look tonight.” Matthew grinned as his brother moved closer to get a better look at the furious woman.
“I was hoping you would wear the red tonight, baby, but I must say, this color looks ravishing on you,” Andy offered as he walked around her as if he was eyeing the grand prize.
“Fuck off, Andy…and you,” Macie growled, walking over to him and pointing her tiny finger in his chest. “The next time I tell you to stay the hell out of my business, you better listen, or I will open a can of whup ass on you, comprende, dickhead?”
That was it. He had just had all he was going to take from her smart little mouth. All hell was about to break loose, and his hand was twitching and firing on all cylinders. Grabbing Macie by the arm, he walked her over to the sofa, and without fanfare, laid her firmly across his lap. Her vulgar screams, loud and colorful, were explicit, but when he raised his hand and slammed it down hard on her bare ass, he felt like laughing as she immediately shut up, stiffening in shock.
Smack!
Smack!
Smack!
A total of twenty in all, and if it were not for his sore hand, he would have continued. He had had enough of her refusal to accept that he was staying permanently in town. He couldn’t care less that she was single and wanted no one. However, he drew the line at being talked down to in front of men of the town. However, he hadn’t formally claimed her, but his display of dominance had done just that.
“Now, my dear…” Matthew said, helping Macie to stand. “Is there something you would like to say?”
“Fuck you. You had no right!” Macie stood, rubbing her bright-red derriere.
Gabriel snickered. “Oh, beautiful, that was the wrong answer.”
Matthew grinned as Andrew stood his ground, his face blank. Standing, Matthew grabbed the vivacious vixen by the arm and gently walked her toward Jeff and Caleb’s gym. Her loud protest vibrated throughout the house, but when they entered the gym, she quickly shut her mouth.
Matthew had to give her credit for that, because if she continued with that foul mouth of hers, he had no problems shoving a ball gag between those luscious lips.
“Master Matthew, I am sure you won’t mind if Caleb and I stay so Janie can see how a disobedient sub is treated. By all means, help yourself to whatever we have,” Jeff said, smiling, standing at the door as he ushered Janie and Caleb ahead of them.
“I thank you for your hospitality, Master Jeffery.”
Snapping his fingers, Jeff smiled. Matthew watched him turn to look at Andrew. “If she gives you too much trouble, the chains are in the red chest near the shelf.”
“Why you ungrateful, inconsiderate turncoat!” Macie shouted as she lunged for Jeff, but she didn’t get too far. Andrew grabbed her and hauled her over his shoulder. Matthew watched as Andrew held firm to Macie, movi
ng further into the room.
Being a Master Dom for several years, he knew that it was Gabriel and Braxton’s right as Masters to watch and oversee any form of punishment since Macie refused to be collared. However, Matthew hoped to rectify that situation very soon. He didn’t need to turn around to know that the two Masters had made themselves comfortable.
Walking toward her, Andrew placed a thick black collar around her neck with loops for the chains. Quickly shackling her hands and feet, he observed her. The fury emanating off her was volatile to say the least. But not once did she put a halt to what they were doing. He had known from helping out at the Pleasure Cave with the personal background checks that Macie preferred a little rough play. She knew the drill and had her own personal safe word.
He needed to know that word before he could continue. Standing before her, he gently touched her face, and her eyes hardened. She didn’t pull away from him. Instead, she defiantly stared directly into his eyes.
“Safe word, Macie?” he asked firmly.
“Weiner!” she said loud and clear.
He could hear the Masters behind him snicker. Ignoring them, he shook his head. “Oh, Macie, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way. The choice is yours. What is your safe word?”
“Weiner!” she shouted louder.
Matthew turned and shrugged his shoulders, looking at his brother, who was grinning from ear to ear. “Matty, that is her safe word,” Andrew advised, trying hard not to laugh.
Turning on a dime, Matthew looked at Macie, who was now smiling at him.
“Your safe word is weiner! What kind of safe word is that?” Matthew asked astounded.
“I’m a cook, dipshit. I cook wieners all day long. I thought it was appropriate. Got a problem with that?” she replied, too cocky for his taste. Gone was the need to show her how he truly felt. The urge to dominate her revved up within him, and before he knew what he was saying, he ordered Andrew. “Chain her.”
