Crash: A Bad Boy MMA Romance Page 11

“Why didn’t you stick around after the fight?” I asked.

“The bouncer blew me off,” she said breathlessly.

  “I’ll kick his ass.”

  “That won’t be necessary.”

  “Yes it will,” I growled.

  “Why?”

“Because all I wanted was to see you.”

She gasped, and I moved in to claim those gorgeous full lips. She yielded to me completely at my kiss. I could feel her melt like butter in my hands. She sighed with the release of her resistance, and I knew I had her. It only made me want her more. Sweet, innocent, smart, driven Harper was giving herself to me in her stepfather’s pool, and I could barely control myself.

My hands roved over her skin, pulling her swimsuit top off. I gripped her breasts one after the other, feeling how tight and firm they felt in my hands. My cock screamed to be inside her. She moaned and whimpered when I pulled her bikini bottoms off. They floated on the water and were soon joined by my trunks. I lifted her up to wrap her legs around my waist, my cock hard against her ass. I kissed her deep then licked down her chest, taking her hot tits in my mouth. Sucking those hot titties almost made me cum right then.

I gripped my cock behind her ass and angled it toward her. I had to be inside her. I tilted her up and sat her wet, waiting cunt onto my hood. She was fucking ready for it. She quivered as I pushed her down on it. I looked in her eyes, wide and trusting.

She didn’t question me or stop me. She just clung to me and let me inside. Holy fucking shit. This girl. I gripped her waist as I pushed up in her. Her body stretched around me, sheathing my throbbing cock. She gasped and moaned when it reached the base. Her eyes were wide with awe. I filled her tight pussy to the depths and she knew it.

“Crash,” she moaned, leaning in to kiss me. There was no resistance anymore. No holding back. I held her around the waist and gripped her thigh as I began to move inside her. Slowly at first. I didn’t want to take her too fast, even though holding back at all was killing me. Thoughts of Brazil and the moon above us on that starry night flashed through my mind. I thrust hard into her and Harper threw her head back, moaning. I could tell she was going to cum. I rubbed her up and down on my cock, working her clit with my body as my cock thrust deep inside her.

Then I started bouncing her. I knew she’d lose it then. She moaned loudly and all at once went silent, her head back, her eyes glazed. Her pussy clenched around my cock. I was ready to blow any second, but I wanted to make her cum over and over for me. I loved the look on her face, the feel of her tight pussy squeezing rhythmically on my shaft.

“That’s it, baby,” I whispered, picking up the pace. She gasped once more but went silent again. Her grip went lax and I held her tight to me, holding her languid body in my strong arms. Water splashed around us as I drove into her again and again. She was climaxing as I let loose inside her. I groaned, releasing the month of pent up desire that had been raging inside me since we’d last been together.

With one last quivering thrust, I was spent. I held her close in the water, kissing her wet shoulder. A flood of passion filled me. I kissed her neck and face, wanting to hold her like this forever. I’d never felt this after sex before. I’d expected that she’d be out of my system, but that wasn’t what happened. I slipped from inside her and her feet floated to the bottom of the pool. I held her close still, caressing her back and her little head against my broad chest.

“Harper, baby,” I whispered. She looked up at me, those innocent eyes sparkling with unshed tears. “What’s wrong?” I asked, cupping her chin.

“It’s nothing. I’m just… That was really amazing. As good as the last time.”

  “It was better.”

She leaned against my chest and I held her close. “Yeah,” she said, sniffling.

  “Oh, sweetheart, don’t cry.”

“I’m not crying,” she said, wiping the corners of her eyes. I knew she was lying. All that mattered to me in that moment was that Harper Kelly had let me have her again. She’d allowed me into her innocence. I knew I would never be able to get enough.

I wanted to tell her all this, but there was no fucking way I was going to spill my guts like that. No. What I needed to do was show her, slowly. Build us up into something we could both be proud of so that when the time came, we could tell the parents without any shame.

  Chapter Sixteen

Crash and I laid in bed all day and talked about nothing and everything. When my phone rang on my bedside table, I leaned over and looked at the caller ID. Jeremy. Great. I slid my finger over the reject call button and turned back to Crash. He was telling me a war story about a time he’d saved his buddy from a burning building. I listened in awe to his tales of bravery. What I’d seen in him during the fight had been real. He really was a hero, no matter how it played out now that he was a civilian.

I had to be up and ready for my overnight shift soon, but leaving Crash in the bed was one of the hardest things I’d ever had to do. Don’s staff were all gone. Crash and I had the place almost completely to ourselves. It was a heady feeling to be with him in this mansion with a view of the ocean. I felt like we were getting away with something naughty.

No matter what either of us wanted, we were still stepbrother and stepsister. It could break apart the family that had just been created, and it could rob Crash of his chance to inherit Don’s wealth. I tried to push the idea from my head as I climbed out of bed. Crash caught my arm and tried to pull me back, but I didn’t give in.

“I’ve got a shift in an hour. I can’t be late for my rounds. My attending is already on my ass.”

“Tell her to go fuck herself,” he said, pulling me down on the bed to lay against his chest.

“You tell her to go fuck herself,” I countered. Seeing my chance to escape, I sprang from the bed.

“Hey, no fair,” he said, throwing a pillow at the backs of my legs.

I giggled and ran off to the bathroom. My body was so alive with desire. It seemed like every time we made love, I wanted more. His lips on my nipples, my pussy, my mouth. His cock in my mouth, my pussy, my hands. It had all culminated in the most intoxicating experience of my life and we’d only been at it for twenty-four hours.

I turned on the shower and began to sing as I washed my hair and body. Running the soap down my breasts, I could feel how big and swollen they’d become. Soon enough, I’d start to show.

When I was done washing, I wrapped a towel around my hair and a bathrobe around my body. When I sauntered out into the bedroom, Crash was holding my phone. I walked over and took the phone from his hands.

  “What are you looking at?”

“Who’s Jeremy?” he asked, a strange look on his face.

  “He’s my ex-boyfriend.”

“Why is your ex calling you?”

  “He’s obsessed. He can’t take a hint.”

“He’d better,” Crash said, pulling me down on the bed.

He flipped me over on my back and was on top of me before I could protest, pulling my robe open. I could feel him hot and hard against me. His lips encircled my nipple.

“What are you doing?” I whimpered.

“I’m going to eat your cunt,” he growled.

I moaned under him as he sucked my swollen breasts and ran his tongue down my stomach. My body responded instantly to his touch. He spread my legs open, dipping into my waiting pussy with his thick, wet tongue. His muscled back and shoulders worked, bulging as he moved into me.

The first lap of his tongue sent a hot shiver of desire through me and I let out a keening groan. I lifted up on my elbows to watch his blond head moving up and down as his tongue lapped against my clit.

My breasts were so swollen and my nipples tight. I felt hot to the touch and soaking wet. Crash kissed my pussy using his full mouth, dipping, sucking and thrusting his tongue into my channel and twisting it on my clit.

I threw my head back. My nipples felt like two lightning rods, shocked full of electricity as t
he desire hooked up with my bud. Crash sucked my clit into his mouth and flicked it with his tongue.

Screaming, I came, gripping his hair as I squeezed my thighs around his head. Crash held my thighs tight, sucking out the very last drop of my orgasm. Just as my moan died down, the phone rang again.

He grabbed the phone before I could and looked at the caller ID. “It’s that creep again,” he said.

“Hand me the phone,” I said. He handed it to me and I rose from the bed, frowning.

  “When did you break up?”

“Like, almost three months ago,” I said, walking to the closet.

“And he’s still calling. That’s the third time he’s called today. Is there something you aren’t telling me?”

I grabbed a pair of panties and a bra from the dresser and pulled them on before I slipped into some clean blue scrubs.

“Well, I went out with him on a date like a few weeks ago. It was nothing. He just kept pestering me, and I thought maybe it would be a good way to get you out of my mind,” I said.

I regretted it more than any of the other crazy things I’d done since we’d broken up. I emerged from the closet and Crash looked annoyed.

“Did anything happen on this date?” he asked. Was he jealous? The guy who had women practically throwing themselves at him in the ring was jealous of smarmy Jeremy?

  “Of course not,” I said.

“Are you going to see him again?” he asked.

“I don’t expect to, no,” I said, slipping into my tennis shoes.

  “You don’t expect to?”

“Crash. What is this? I know we’ve been fucking for the last twenty-four hours, but please don’t start acting all possessive. That’s exactly the kind of thing that made me break up with Jeremy.”

“I haven’t been with anyone else since that night in Brazil.”

That threw me for a loop. “What? Are you serious?”

“I couldn’t understand it either. I just…couldn’t. I didn’t want to be with anyone else. I’ve had opportunities, too. Believe me.”

I snorted. “I do believe you. You really haven’t done anything with anyone else?”

  “No. Nothing.”

“Wow.” I had to sit down on the side of the bed to take that in. He’d been faithful to me before he even knew who I was or where I came from. I couldn’t fathom it. He reached out and caressed my cheek with the soft skin of the back of his fingers.

“I didn’t want to be either,” he said in a low voice. I leaned down and kissed his mouth gently before pulling away.

  “What do you want?”

“I’d like to spend more time with you. Out of bed and in it.”

I giggled. “Okay. What do you have in mind?”

  “I’d like to start…dating.”

I wrapped my arms around his broad shoulders and kissed him hard on the cheek. “That sounds great. But I really need to go. My attending is going to kill me if I’m late again.”

I jumped out of bed, avoiding his grasping hand. I batted it away and giggled as I hurried out the door. On my way outside, I felt a giddy flood of warmth in my chest. I’d never felt so light or alive before. I didn’t know what this sensation was. I’d never felt so absolutely adored.

After hearing his revelation, I knew that his feelings for me weren’t just physical. There was something more, much more, going on behind all his bravado and bad boy behavior. Did he really care about me?

I couldn’t let myself get too ahead of myself. Otherwise, I’d be screwed. It would be so easy for me to fall for him right now. If I wasn’t already. Falling for Crash Nolan could break me apart.

This was a fun fling. Maybe we had feelings for each other beyond lust, but it couldn’t last. When our parents got home, we’d have to break it off. I was letting myself indulge in this for now. When they got back, it had to be over.

As I got into my car, I knew that everything I was telling myself was bullshit. But I didn’t let those thoughts linger very long. I had to get to the hospital or my attending was going to report me to the chief of staff. I couldn’t have that. I couldn’t let my love affair ruin my career any more than I could allow the baby to ruin my career.

Driving down the driveway, my mind turned to the child growing inside me. I needed to get prenatal vitamins from the pharmacy and start taking them. It was important that pregnant women get enough folic acid.

I wanted my baby to be healthy. Knowing that it was Crash’s child, it would probably end up being ten pounds, and I’d be in labor for thirty-six hours. The thought of it both terrified and excited me.

Then I thought about delivering the baby alone, without a father, and a shiver went down my spine. A tear streaked down my cheek as I pulled into the hospital parking lot. Great. Just what I needed right now. A mood swing.

I wiped the tears from my cheeks and jumped out of the car. I was already ten minutes late for my rounds and my attending was going to have a shit fit. Damn it, Crash. If he weren’t so insistently sexy…

I couldn’t blame him. I was the one who gave in to his whims and his fourth sex session of the day.

Hurrying through the front doors of the emergency room, I ran to the locker room and pulled on my white coat and wrapped my stethoscope around my neck. When I came out, I saw the group of residents following the attending on rounds. Shit. Shit. Shit. She was going to have my ass.

I hurried to the back of the group and tried to blend in with the rest of my class.

“Dr. Kelly. I know that you’re late. Would you like to share with everyone what was so important that you failed to join us on time?”

“Traffic,” I lied. That excuse had worked for another doctor in my class last week. But she didn’t pick on other doctors like she picked on me.

Her cool brown eyes ran up my white coat and settled on my face. “A word,” she said, motioning for me to follow her. We walked to the back of the nurses’ station and stopped within ear shot of all the nurses. Great. She meant to embarrass me while she chewed me out.

“Dr. Kelly. It was my understanding that you were the top of your class all through medical school. Graduated with highest honors. Top intern in the bunch, and yet you come into my ER as a first-year resident and you can’t manage to get to rounds on time. I’m beginning to take it personally, Dr. Kelly, and I hate it when residents personally disrespect me.”

“Dr. Williams. There’s a lot happening in my personal life. You’re right about my past successes. It’s all true. I was an exemplary student and intern. I have the praise and letters of recommendation to prove it. I’m sure you’ve seen my records. But I can’t be perfect all the time.”

“I understand imperfections, Dr. Kelly. But this tardiness is unacceptable. You can either take this residency seriously or you can find another hospital to complete your training.” She clutched her clipboard to her chest, turned on her heel, and walked away.

I stood there with my mouth gaping. The nurses looked at me with shocked sympathy. I felt the hormones kicking in inside me, and the dizziness that hadn’t plagued me in a week came spiraling back. I wiped a tear from the corner of my eye but couldn’t move to join the rest of the residents.

“You better go,” one of the nurses whispered. I looked up at her sweet, sincere face and was shocked into motion.

I hurried back to my rounds, swallowing what was left of my pride.

  Chapter Seventeen

Harper had her first night off since our day in the pool. We each got ready for our date in our own rooms. I put on a pair of dark blue jeans and a casual jacket over a black t-shirt. The outfit covered most of my tats, but the skull on my chest peeked out under neck of the t-shirt. I turned from side to side in the mirror, admiring the look. I’d put some product on my short blond hair that made it spike up a bit. It looked pretty sick.

I walked down the hall and knocked on Harper’s door.

“Hola,” I said as I rapped my knuckles on the wood. The door flung open, and I nearly lost my mind
. She wore a form-fitting red dress with fabric that gathered up in little waves. She looked damn hot. My dick twitched when I saw her. I took a step back to admire the view. Holy shit. This girl. I grasped her hand and twirled her around to get a better look.

“Babe, you look amazing.” She wore black heels that made her petite figure a few inches taller and her ass and legs look phenomenal. When she turned back around, I noticed her amazing tits. They seemed bigger every single day.

“Thanks,” she said softly, gripping her purse. “Where are you taking me?”

“Nice restaurant. Don told me to drop his name there any time I wanted a table.”

  “That worked?”

“Fuck yeah, it did. You like sushi?”

  “Um… yes.”

“Great.” She worried her lip and her brows clenched together.

  “You sure you like sushi?”

“Yes, but can we go somewhere else?”

“Sure. I can find another place.”

  “Never mind, sushi is fine.”

  “You sure?”

  “Yes. Absolutely.”

“Okay.” I took her hand and led her out to the front of the house. Don had told me I could drive the Ferrari if I wanted while he was gone. I thought it would make a good impression on Harper. Plus, she couldn’t exactly cling to the back of my motorcycle in that dress. I opened her door, and she slid inside, still looking anxious.

I tried to ignore the concerned expression on her face. Maybe she really hated sushi, and she just wasn’t telling me. I was sure there were other dishes at this place. It was five stars after all.

Speeding down the driveway, I glanced at Harper before pulling out into the main road. She nibbled on her lip.

“I think they’ve got dishes like chicken teriyaki if you don’t want sushi,” I said.

  “Oh. Good.”
