“I know you,” he said simply before elaborating. “You’ve grown. You wouldn’t risk a mission to finish the Ash Crest job anymore. I just had to trust you, and I did. Now let’s go before the town is filled with drunks. I know you’re going to go to that river with or without me, so let’s get some sleep and I’ll head out with you.”
I nodded, pleased Demon would come with me. I didn’t want to have to face the Russian mafia leaders alone, and it comforted me that he trusted me enough not to kill one of them. No matter how angry they made me. This could be the start to a good partnership, which would make the overall mission a lot easier if we didn’t argue most of the time.

I would like to thank my boyfriend, Will, who inspired this book as well as other parts of the series. We've known each other for five years and even when we were just starting our relationship he was by my side from the start. His words of encouragement and incredible support continues to astound me to this day. He has been there for me every step of the way since high school, and continues to be there for me miles away while we attend different schools. I can't thank him enough for what he's done and continues to do for me. That includes being there for me when I push the panic button when college gets to be too much and when I call him at midnight because I need someone to talk to. He's inspired many characters in my works, but mostly he's just inspired me. He has pushed me to do my best, taught me to hold out for what I want, and most importantly taught me a lot about myself. I don't have to hide myself from him, I don't have to change who I want to be, and he accepts me for me, short fuse and everything. He's all around an amazing person, I'm so lucky to have him stand beside me.

About the Author
My name is Sara, I’m 19 years old, and I was born and raised in Alexandria Virginia. I have always been interested in writing, even started a book in elementary school, but it didn’t get very far. But it wasn’t until high school that my friend, and writing partner, more or less forced me to join an amateur writing site. After some convincing from her, I plucked up the courage and posted one of my stories. While it wasn’t popular at first, I was shocked and overwhelmed by the support of readers on Wattpad, and they gave me the support and confidence to get where I am today. I continued to write religiously for the next three years I was on the website, starting countless stories. I wasn’t worried that they weren’t popular because I had once heard that you shouldn’t be afraid to write crap, because it will make great fertilizer. I can’t wait to start sharing more works and ideas with you guys!
