Running Deeper Than a Race Page 20

by Kendra J. Williams

“I hate to be the one with bad news but y’all have a race to run.”

“It’s deeper than a race now.”

“We’re out for revenge and we will get it.”

Maverick, Lamar and Quinn all dapped each other before they took off. Kendall walked up right when they were walking off.

“I got one,” he tapped Lamar on the shoulder.

  “It’s go time.”

“Damn right. We’re living for Brinley until this is taken care of.”

“Running a race that they never tagged in for. They better be ready,” Lamar nodded as he pulled his shades down.
