Colborn - Drogon Healer - SciFi Alien Soul Mates Romance (A Drogons Fate Series Book 5) Page 5

by T. J. Quinn

She let out a loud moan, half pleasure, half surprise, when he clamped her hard nipples between his thumb and his index, pinching and pulling them a bit. His lips had found her earlobes, and with kisses and nibbles, he explored them, taking her a bit further on the path to paradise.

His hands still kneaded and caressed her breasts, and she moaned her pleasure.

Eager for more, he picked her in his arms and took her to the counter, sitting her there, and spreading her legs for him. Having her higher, allowed his mouth to draw a trail of fire down her neck and towards her breasts where it joined his hands.

Kisses and caresses, nibbles and rubs, were all perfectly combined to push her further away from reality and take her arousal to unknown levels.

With his lips grasped to her breast, he pulled his tunic over his head, exposing his muscled body to her craving eyes and hands.

Gil Ra took a deep breath when she saw him naked in front of her. Immediately, she rested her hands on his shoulders, exploring his soft skin and loving the warm feeling that spread from his body to hers, chills of thrill running down her spine as she arched her body to get even closer to him. Her mind was set on him and nothing else.

Cupping both her breasts with his hands, Colborn captured her lips in a fiery kiss, meant to steal her breath away and stir even more the fire burning between them. A few moments later, dominated by the craving need to have her, he spread her legs a bit more, making her raise them and rest her feet on the edge of the counter, allowing him to fully appreciate the center of her femininity. He cupped it for a moment, just before he drew a few circles with the tip of his finger, finding her folds wet and her entrance ready for him.

Kissing her again, he pushed one finger inside her, muffling her moans of pleasure with his lips, as he felt her walls clenching around his finger. She wanted him as much as he wanted her and knowing that almost made him lose the little control he still had over himself.

But he needed to make sure she was ready to take him, considering how much bigger he was. So, he pushed two fingers in, thrusting in and out slowly, going faster and deeper with each thrust and flipping his fingers inside her, curving them to reach every inch of her he could, loving the way she responded to every single one of his caresses.

She was whimpering now, her body taken prisoner of delicious shudders as she felt an orgasm building inside her. She was losing control too fast, and she knew she wasn’t going to be able to hold it back much longer.

“Please… oh, God… please…” she moaned against his lips.

He pressed his fingers deeper inside her, rubbing his thumb on her pussy, amazed by the pleasure written on her face. He hastened his pace, and in no time, she was sobbing and coming hard, her walls clenched around his fingers.

He kissed her one more time as he replaced his fingers with his throbbing cock. He needed her so much he felt he could explode.

Still breathing hard, wrapped on the last waves of her orgasm, Gil Ra looked at him and saw him getting ready to take her. The fire inside her reignited, but the sight of his cock made her sob. He was like no man she had ever seen before. His cock was huge, thick and if that wasn’t enough, the ridges his people had on the forehead were also there, two perfect lines decorating such massive shaft. She should be afraid of such a member, considering she was petite, but the sight of it only fueled her desire.

Gathering all his remaining self-control, Colborn rested his cock on her tight entrance, slowly pushing it inside, going in inch by inch.

But her need for him was as big as his. She didn't want him to go slow; she needed him now. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him closer to her, making him go all the way in, stretching her walls completely on his way, making way for his big and thick cock.

She let out a loud moan, and he growled. “I wanted to take it slow…” he protested, but the pleasure on his face denied the protest.

“I need you.” she said through ragged gasps.

He claimed her lips in a passionate kiss and grasping her hips; he pleased her. Thrust after thrust, he took them closer and closer to the edge, until the powerful waves crashed over them and dragged them to a fantastic universe where pleasure and bliss alone ruled.

Colborn came with a loud growl, pouring his essence deep inside her, feeling the incredible urge to sink his fangs on her creamy left breast. It took all his strength to hold back that desire. None of them was ready for that.

Breathing hard, feeling his legs shaking, he rested his forehead on hers.

“You’re an incredible woman.” He whispered in her ear.

She chuckled but said nothing, still lost in the haze of pleasure.

Carrying her in his arms, he took her to the shower and helped her wash away the evidence of their passion.

When they were ready, he guided her to the meals’ room where their food already waited for them.

He kissed her cheek before he started serving the food, and took a seat in front of her. “I hope you enjoy tonight’s selection.” He said as he displayed the food.

  “I’m sure I will.”

She tried to smile but suddenly what had just happened between them crashed down on her. How could this have happened? Why had she allowed him to take her? Surely, he thought she was nothing but a slut, someone he could use to satisfy his needs and then push aside when his soulmate showed up.

Her mother was right about her after all. Her behavior, her looks, her whole being was a magnet for men. She conjured their lust, and clearly, she did nothing to stop them.

She tried to eat the food he had put on her plate, but the knot in her throat made it almost impossible. She wanted to leave, to go away from him before he showed her the despise he certainly was feeling for her.

“You’re not eating. Don’t you like the food?” he asked her with a slight frown.

“Yes, of course… I guess I’m just tired.” She said, with a faint smile, grabbing a bite from her plate and forcing it down her throat. She had no idea what she was eating, but it all tasted the same, like cardboard.

“I see… but you need to eat, at least a little bit.” He insisted although he didn’t sound very convinced.

“Yes, you’re right.” She forced a smile and ate a bit more.

When they finally finished eating, she helped him clear the kitchen. “Would you mind taking me back to the palace? I guess I’m feeling more tired than I thought.” She asked him, wriggling her hands, nervously.

“You could stay here tonight.” He suggested, but he hadn’t finished speaking when she started shaking her head.

  “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

He closed the distance between them and cradled her face. “Why not? Was I the only one that really loved what happened between us?” he asked, determined to convince her to stay.

She stepped away from him shaking her head. “That was a mistake… it shouldn’t have happened at all.” She insisted, in a cold tone.

“How can you say that? You were there with me, enjoying with me every step of the way.” He said, unable to believe what she was saying.

“It doesn’t make it less of a mistake.” She took a deep breath. “If you can’t take me, I’ll walk.” She said, walking towards the door.

“Gil Ra, please. We need to talk about this.” He went after her.

“There’s nothing to talk about.” She insisted, walking towards the door, determined to leave at any cost.

Sighing, Colborn followed her. He could see she wasn’t going to budge and he guessed it would be better to give her some time to process what had happened between them.

He drove her back to the palace in a thick silence, and when he finally parked the car in front of the main door, she didn’t give him time for anything. She simply hopped out of the vehicle and disappeared through the doors before he could do a thing.

He considered the idea of following her, but something told him that would only make things worse. He hit the steering wheel, out of sheer fru
stration, before he drove back home.

  Chapter Seven

Back in her room, Gil Ra walked to the window and stared out at the huge moon. She still couldn’t believe she had allowed that to happen. But the worst part wasn’t even that. She had allowed herself to be happy, to feel pleasure and joy like she had never felt before in her life. For a few minutes, she had forgotten all about her past, all of her sins and she had simply lived the most amazing experience of her life.

But she knew better than that. She knew she shouldn’t have, that there would be a price to pay for those moments of solace. For once, she was sure she had lost any respect Colborn might have felt for her. She was sure he thought she was nothing but a slut after the way she had surrendered to his caresses, with not even a word of protest.

The pain strangling her heart was so strong, she sobbed. Unable to stay there. Still, she opened the window and walked out of her room, through the terrace and down the stairs that led to the gardens.

The cold wind bit her exposed body since she was only wearing the tunic she had put on after the shower at Colborn's place, but she didn't even notice it. Tears rolled down her cheeks, and she was feeling so bad; she wished she could end it all, once and for all.

At some point, blinded by the tears, she tripped over something on the ground and fell. She didn’t even bother to get up, she just stayed there, crying her heart out, desperate to find a way out of all the pain that was consuming her, images of her past swirling through her mind, making her cry harder.

Colborn got back home and went straight to his garden, needing some fresh air. He was restless, and he kept thinking he shouldn’t have left her alone, especially when she was feeling so bad about what had happened between them. He should have insisted they needed to talk, but he hadn’t wanted to trouble her more, he had decided not to insist.

But now, he couldn’t stay still. He had a bad feeling about the whole thing, and that was eating him alive.

Following his instinct, he shifted into his drogon form and displaying his leathery wings, he jumped into the air and flew back to the palace. He needed to see her, make sure she was alright, that she wasn’t taking things out of proportion and worrying about nothing.

He landed just a few minutes later at the palace’s gardens and headed straight to her room, through the terrace. When he got there, the opened window surprised him. It was very cold outside, why would she keep the window open?

“Gil Ra… are you there?” he called her, as he entered the room, but the place was empty. He looked all over the place, but she wasn’t there.

Worried, he looked outside, but she was nowhere to be found. With an awful feeling about it, he sniffed the air, looking for her scent. Soon, he had picked it, and he was running after her, stopping here and there to pick up her scent, cursing the wind for misleading him, but a few minutes later, he spotted her still form on the ground.

With his heart pounding hard on his chest, he ran towards her, falling to his knees next to her. She was so still that for a moment he thought she was dead. Her face, lightened by the silvery light of the moon, showed the wet trails left by her tears but it was so pale, stripped of all color, that he feared the worse.

“Gil Ra… please, open your eyes for me.” He whispered, taking her frozen hands in his.

Her eyes fluttered open, and he almost cried out of relief.

“What are you doing out here in the cold?” he asked, scolding her in a soft tone, as he took her hands to his mouth and blew warm air into them, trying to warm them.

She didn’t answer, simply turned her face away from him, and closed her eyes again.

She was too cold. If she had been out here since he had left her at the palace, she had been there for over an hour. No wonder she was so cold.

Picking her up in his arms, he displayed his wings and flew back to her room, eager to take her to safety as soon as possible. She was so distraught, she didn’t realize what was going on, and he thanked the universe for it. That wasn’t the moment to have her freaking out over his other half.

Back in her room, he went straight to the bathroom, filling up the tub with warm water as he removed all of her clothes as well as his. He needed her to warm up as soon as possible. The last thing he wanted was for her to get ill. They still didn’t know enough of the humans’ bodies as to try and cure them with their medicines. The little he had been able to see, humans were very different from them, and he didn’t want to take any risks with her.

Once he got her in the tub, submerged in hot water, he wrapped his body around her. At that point he allowed his body temperature to rise, knowing it was the quickest way for her to regain her body temperature.

She was still silent and absent, and the only sign he had she was still alive was the slow heave of her chest.

He kissed the top of her head gently and pulled her even closer to his chest, praying she would be alright.

A few minutes later, she moved in his arms and moaned.

“Why are you here?” she mumbled, tilting her head to look at him when she realized she was in his arms.

“I found you in the garden, half frozen. Why did you leave the palace without your cloak?” he asked, in a scolding tone. “You could have killed yourself.”

She closed her eyes but didn’t make any comment.

“How did you find me?” she asked, instead.

“With luck. I knew I shouldn’t have left you alone, so I decided to come back and talk to you. Good thing I did.” he explained, keeping the unnecessary details to himself.

“There’s nothing to talk about.” She murmured, looking away.

“Yes, there is.” He pulled her closer and turned her face, forcing her to face him. “What happened between us was amazing, the best experience of my life and yet you considered it a mistake. Why? How can something so fantastic be a mistake?” he asked, in a hurtful tone.

“Of course it’s a mistake. I’m not your soulmate.” She said, in a cold tone. “I’m sure you think I’m a slut, someone you can have fun with and set aside when the fun is over, but I can assure you I’m not that kind of woman, despite the fact my actions might deny my words.”

“I’ve never considered you a slut nor anything like it.” He protested. “There’s a special feeling between us and please don’t try to deny it. The passion that burned between us was like no other I had ever experienced.” He added.

“It still doesn’t make it right.” She insisted.

“Who says so? Why is it wrong? Who are we hurting by listening to our feelings?” he replied, determined to convince her.

“It’s against the rules.” She protested, but her words were losing conviction.

“Whose rules? Not mine and I’m sure not yours either.”

“Society’s rules. We’re not supposed to be lascivious.” She said as if reading a manual or something of the sort.

“Not this society’s, I assure you.” he insisted.

“But… you have soulmates… you mate for life… how can you say that?” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Because we’ve been alone for way too long. We need passion in our lives, even if it doesn’t come from our soulmates.” He let out a sigh. “Some won’t find their soulmates. Should they spend the rest of their lives alone, just because of that?” he asked, in a sad tone.

  “No, of course not… but…”

“So, why shouldn’t we enjoy the passion we share?”

She didn’t answer. She couldn’t. How could she tell him she didn’t deserve to be happy? He would want to know why and she wasn’t ready to talk about that. She would never be.

“What if my supposed soulmate doesn’t like the idea I was your lover first?” she asked, using her last cartridge.

“He has no right to question your past, and I’m sure he wouldn’t, in case there is one.” He assured her.

  “It still doesn’t feel right.”

“Of course it does.” He cradled her face and claimed a pas
sionate kiss from her lips. “There’s nothing brighter than this in the whole universe." He assured her before he kissed her again.

She put her hands over his to stop him, but the few seconds that took her to do it were enough for the embers of the passion burning inside her reignited and all her good intentions vanished into thin air.

Kiss after kiss, he entangled her more and more in his world of passion and desire, and soon there was not a single coherent thought in her mind. All she could think of was him and the pleasure he conjured in her.

Too eager to wait any longer, he helped her to slide down his hard cock and ride him. He needed her as much as he needed the air that he breathed and made her understand that would be his main goal.

He wanted to tell her he was her soulmate, that he was her other half, but even if he weren't following the king’s orders on the subject, he wouldn’t. His instinct told him she wasn’t ready to hear that. First, she needed to solve whatever issues she had, and he just hoped she would allow him to help her to do it.

His claws sank on her buttocks as he helped her go up and down his shaft, taking her faster and deeper each time, and soon they were coming, trapped on a wild turmoil of pleasure and bliss.

When the waves finally subsided, he helped her finish bathing and carried her to the bed.

“Can you tell me what usually happens to you when you’re exposed to low temperatures?” he asked her, recalling how he had found her.

She frowned. “We usually get a cold." She replied, starting to feel tired.

“What’s a cold?” he asked, unfamiliar with the term in that context.

“The flu. If you’ve been exposed for too long, you can get hypothermia and sometimes pneumonia.” She explained, yawning.

“What are the symptoms of this cold?” he asked, a bit worried.

“High fever, nasal congestion, and general discomfort.” She listed, with her eyes already closed, suddenly too tired to keep them open.

“Will you let me know if you experience any of those?” he asked her.
