Never Dead Page 25

by Wonny Lea

There are quiet areas where visitors are able to watch a diverse variety of wildlife. The lake with its small islands provides ideal conditions for over-wintering and breeding birds, and the wildflower garden is a haven for butterflies. In part of the famous rose garden visitors can see trial beds for the National Rose Society. There are plenty of open spaces for children to run about and play games, and a visit wouldn’t be complete without some time being spent boating on the lake.
