by Kathryn Thomas

“Hard. I want you to fuck me hard. Make me come, Ryker. Please. I need you to make me come.”

Ryker leans down, slowly chasing her lips with his own as she tries to avoid his kiss, until she becomes still and accepts it. They kiss, slowly, deeply, as Ryker pumps his hips, not moving, but alternating pressure from mild to intense. As he slowly pulls his lips back, breaking the kiss and looking into her beautiful face, Ryker readies himself to do as she asks... to fuck her hard until she comes. He hopes she comes quickly. She has him so worked up he isn’t going to last long.

She watches as he pulls back from the kiss, his face hardening into a look of determination and lust. She smiles, a sneering leer of desire. “Do it,” she snarls, causing Ryker to explode into motion.

He begins to thrust hard into Ronnie, giving in to her demand and the need of his own body. Because he is as trapped in his position as she is by his need to hold her hands and feet fast, he can’t adjust his position to help forestall his approaching orgasm. He grits his teeth as he digs in, preparing to battle the orgasm he can already feel approaching.

She can sense her orgasm coming to life. She tries to push against it, hoping to delay it and extend this moment as long as possible, but Ryker shudders softly, his sexy gasping grunt telling of his battle against his own impending orgasm is her undoing. “I’m going to come, Ryker. I’m going to come…” she breathes.

He gasps, closing his eyes as he fights. He needs to stop. He has to stop or he will come, but Ronnie’s announcement of her own orgasm forces him to continue, giving him no respite.

She feels him shudder again, his gasp deeper and harder than before and she knows he must be hanging on only by the thinnest of threads. Knowing that they are going to come at the same moment sends her sliding over the edge into her orgasm.

“I can’t hold…” Ryker grunts as he finally has to surrender to his body’s need and tumbles over the edge into the abyss of his orgasm.

Ronnie just hears Ryker admit to his fall into orgasm before she begins to wail as her own shreds her apart. She feels her hands coming free, then wrapped in a bone crushing embrace as he takes her into his arms while he continues to thrust hard and fast into her, growling low and deep in his chest as he does. As suddenly as the embrace appears it is gone as he pushes up on his hands, roaring into the darkening room as he thrusts, his cry of passion driving her orgasm on and on.

He can’t hold her hands anymore, the intensity of continuing to thrust even as he comes too much to endure. He releases her hands and holds her tight as he continues, desperately trying to give her as much pleasure as possible. But even with his hands free, he can’t continue… and yet he must. Pulling his hands quickly from behind her back, he forces himself up, arching his back as a scream of pure animal completion escapes him as he shudders and thrusts in the most mind-twisting orgasm of his life.

Her orgasm ends just as she feels him suddenly become limp, nearly collapsing on her as he settles. She has just come out from under perhaps the hardest orgasm of her life, and it seems that he has as well. She smiles, then begins to giggle, wondering if the people in the surrounding rooms are jealous as the Graylands in room 608 scream in passion.

He hears her post-orgasmic giggle, a sound that has become his favorite in the entire world. He forces himself up to accept the kiss he knows is waiting, and he isn’t disappointed. As they kiss, long, slow, and deep, he begins to slowly move again.

Ronnie once again begins to pull at her feet. They are still bound, but she wants them free. “Ryker,” she gasps, “Please. Please let my feet loose. Please.”

Ryker stops thrusting and moves, never removing himself from her, but raising up enough that Ronnie can free first one leg, then another. Once her panties are free, he adjusts his position and continues, once again taking her lips for his own.

“Thank you,” Ronnie says softly, smiling in gratitude as their lips part.

“I will do anything for you, Ronnie. Anything. I love you,” he says, finally giving voice to his feelings.

Ronnie feels a rush of heat at his words. “You what?” she asks softly after a pause.

“I’m falling for you Veronica,” he murmurs softly, stilling his hips and looking into Ronnie’s shocked face, hoping he hasn’t made a mistake by telling her how he feels.

She can’t believe what he just said. After all they have been through, to profess his love so matter-of-factly like that. “I don’t understand,” she says gently. “Why are you saying this?”

“Because it’s true,” he says before kissing her. “You are the most incredible woman I have ever met. I… want to get to know you. Really get to know you.”

“You don’t know what you are saying,” Ronnie says softly as she can feel tears welling in her eyes. “You can’t mean it.”

“I do know, and I do mean it,” Ryker replies before kissing her again. “I am falling in love with you, Dr. Veronica Baker. I have known you almost a month now, and I have never felt like this about anyone else. Ever. I want you and no other. I will always want you. I want to spend time with you, to explore what these feeling mean. I want you by my side… and in my bed,” he adds as he starts to thrust again. “I want you Ronnie,” he says again, increasing the power and speed of his thrusts. “I want all of you. I want your body and heart and soul.”

Ronnie still can’t believe it, but somehow she knows it’s true. And she feels the same. She has never felt about anyone else the way she feels about Ryker. Being in his presence makes her feel alive. As he begins to pound into her, she gasps in delight and she pulls him down for a long, sloppy kiss. Being his presence may make her feel alive, but being in his bed makes her feel young! As she releases Ryker from the kiss, he rises up, driving into her with intent now, his face fierce with passion… and she smiles. “I love you too, Ryker Evans,” she says softly.

He feels his heart soar at those six little words. The most incredible woman in the universe has just professed her love for him! He lowers himself to her once more, taking her lips as her arms surround him, pulling him into the kiss.

  CHAPTER TEN

Ryker reaches for the phone buzzing on the nightstand. The sun is just coming over the horizon and Ronnie is still asleep, snuggled in comfortably close. “Evans,” Ryker says softly, so to not wake her. They had made love long into the night, falling asleep only after being overcome with exhaustion and were unable to continue. Well, he wasn’t anyway. Ronnie, on the other hand, seems to be insatiable.

“Evans. Hargraves. We have a target. Kadar Masood in Trye.”

“Do you have an address for me, Colonel?” Ryker asks, reaching for the pad and pen, causing Ronnie to stir. Hargraves gives him the address.

“Make this happen soon Evans. I don’t know how long this information is going to be good.”

“Understood. I am not familiar with Trye, so I will have to do a little research. But I will try to make it happen tonight.”

“Carry on,” Hargraves says briskly. “If you have to bag him, do not bring him to the embassy. Stash him somewhere and the CIA will come to you. Understood?”

“Understood, Colonel. I will be in touch.”

“Very good. And Ryker... I know this is a shit mission, so be careful. Getting yourself killed isn’t going to find the virus.”

He rolls his eyes. Fine time to be worried about his safety now after sending him out with almost no support. “Understood sir.”

“Good luck,” Hargraves says before ending the call.

“Who was that?” Ronnie asks sleepily.

“Hargraves. I’m a go,” he says, typing the address into his smart phone.

She can feel a chill of impending doom. She wants to ask him to stay with her, to not go, but she knows he will go anyway and will only resent her pressuring him. “Take me with you.”

“No. Out of the question. It’s too dangerous.”

“Ryker, please, don’t leave me alone. Take me with you. You’ll need me to test any samples you find anyway.”
<
br />   “No,” he says firmly. “I will bring anything I find back and you can test it here.”

“Do you even know what the virus looks like?”

“No. But you can tell me that. It will be in vials, right?”

“It was. But wouldn’t you put it in a different container if you wanted to conceal it?”

That gives him some pause, because she is right. “What’s look like? Does it glow green like in the movies?” he asks with a grin.

  “Hardly. It looks like water.”

  “You’re shitting me!” he exclaims.

“No. The culture is as clear as water and only slightly thicker. If you could just look at the stuff and tell what it is we wouldn’t need the Mogle, now would we?”

Ryker pauses, thinking furiously. “I don’t like this,” he finally admits when he can’t think of a better way. “How long are the tests going to take?”

“I can run about fifty samples in an hour,” Ronnie says. “If there are more samples than that I can be preparing the next set of samples while the first batch is being analyzed. The next fifty, and ever set after that, will take about half as long as the first set.”

Ryker feels a cold hand around his heart. “Ronnie, we can’t be still for hours on end. We have to get in and get out!”

“Garland said the Mogle will operate on the move. But I don’t think we will have more than a few samples to analyze. Remember, the virus has a very specific set of requirements, even in hibernation. There are only going to be a very few items that could possibly be it. We don’t have to worry about anything in the fridge for example. The cold will have killed the virus, and once it is dead, it’s useless. They may not as well have it at all.”

“What are the requirements?” he asks, breathing a little easier.

“About 70 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and not in direct sunlight. It also has to be kept pure. They can’t pour it into a fish bowl and dilute it with water, for example. So we are looking for either five 25ml vials or the equivalent amount of liquid in a sterile container.”

  “So 125ml, that’s about…” Ryker begins

“Actually, the amount will be closer to 100ml because the vials aren’t filled right to the top. That’s about three ounces,” Ronnie says.

  “That’s nothing!”

“You don’t need much. Even in 20ml there are hundreds of millions of virus cells.”

“No, I mean they can hide that anywhere.”

“Then we will just have to look carefully, won’t we?” she says. “When are we going to do this?”

“We?” Ryker asks, but smiles, knowing she’s going. He needs her.

  “We,” Ronnie repeats firmly.

“Tonight. I’m going to rent a car and drive down and do some recon. We’ll go back in the Mogle tonight. But you’re waiting in the truck until I secure the facility.”

Ronnie starts to protest, then decides that is probably the wisest course of action. Ryker doesn’t need some amateur tagging along while he does his thing. “Now that’s settled, and since it is too early to rent a car, I have something urgent for you to attend to.”

“And what would that be, Mrs. Grayland?”

“There are certain duties that husbands are expected to perform.”

Ryker drops his cell on the side table. His manhood is a little sore after the workout last night. But he is all about husbandly duties… and nothing cures soreness like working it out.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

Ryker creeps his rented Mercedes past the Masood residence for the third time. The house is an imposing place set just off the rocky beach, about 6 klicks south of Tyre. There is no cover and Ryker hasn’t stopped. The last thing he wants is to put the residents on their guard. He has seen no sign of security personnel, but he assumes the house has some form of electronic security in place. Nothing for that. The key is going to be speed. Get in and get the area secured before they can call for help.

As he slowly drifts by an older woman and beautiful teenage girl exit the house and get into a Mercedes G-Wagon SUV. Fuck… Women and children are going to make this a lot more difficult. Now would be the time to hit the place, but he isn’t ready. The Mogle isn’t here and he has no idea how long until Kadar’s family will be back.

  ***

Ryker slides the card in the door and walks into their suite. He smiles as Ronnie looks up from her computer. “You have a plan?” she asks after he gives her a quick kiss.

“I think I do. But as the old saying goes... no plan survives contact with the enemy. Get your stuff. We need to go.”

  “Are we coming back here?”

“Yes. Just take what you need for tonight.”

Ronnie rises from her chair and flows into Ryker’s arms. “Will you think less of me if I admit to being a little scared?”

“No. I would be worried if you weren’t, because that means you don’t understand what is going on.”

Ronnie is quiet for a moment. “Are you going to kill the man tonight?” she asks softly.

“No. Not if I can prevent it. If we get the virus there is no need to kill him. If he doesn’t have it, we need him alive.”

She relaxes a bit. She has had enough killing to last her a lifetime. “I’m glad. Do I need to change?”

He looks at her. She is dressed in a comfortable shirt, shorts and running shoes. “No. You’re fine. If you’re ready, let’s go. I want to get there before dark.”

Ryker has parked the rented Benz in the hotel garage, but this time they take the Mogle. As the truck rattles to life, Ryker looks over to Ronnie, still concerned that he is putting her in unnecessary danger by bringing her along… but he really has no choice.

As Ryker and Ronnie bang along the road to Tyre they talk little, each lost in their own thoughts. Ryker reviews his plan… then reviews it again… then reviews it yet again. He can think of a hundred ways the mission could go wrong and he tries to have a counter for every contingency.

When they arrive in Tyre, the sun is just setting on the horizon. He hasn’t eaten since lunch, but he is too nervous to eat now. He pulls the truck into a grocery story store parking lot, parking it well away from the store, and kills the engine. “Okay. Here’s the plan,” Ryker says, pulling two encrypted radios the embassy had given him out of the bag he had stowed between the seats. “I’m going to leave the truck here. We are about two miles from Masood’s house. I’m going to approach on foot. When I call, bring the truck. Go out of the parking lot, turn right at the corner, and stay on that road until you get to his house. This is the house,” Ryker explains, sending a picture to her phone. “When you get there, back the truck up to the front door and come into the house. I will be waiting.”

“How long will I have to wait?” she asks.

“Several hours. I am going to wait until the house is quiet. Leave your radio on, but if you can get some shut-eye, go ahead.”

Ronnie looks at the small radio. The button is in the center, presumably in the “off” position, and she has a choice between an ear and lips. She thinks about it a moment until the symbols starts to make sense. Ear to listen, lips to talk without having to hold the transmit button. She slides the small button to the lips before threading the wire under her shirt and puts the ear bud in her ear. “Comm check,” she says without touching the bud.

Ryker smiles. “You’re a natural,” he says when Ronnie’s voice sounds in his ear.

“I can hear you,” Ronnie replies with a grin.

Ryker rummages in the bag, pulling out ammo clips, plastic binders, a small pair of wire cutters, a pair of night-vision goggles, tiny flashlight and, finally, a deadly gun and suppressor. Ryker pulls the weapon from the holster, quickly checks it, then returns it to its home. “Okay, I’m leaving before it gets dark. Walking at night draws too much attention.”

Ronnie feels her heart freeze up. “Talk to me when you can,” Ronnie says softly. “The not knowing it the worst.”

Ryker smiles. “I will, but it’ll be okay. Just
be ready to do your part.”

Ronnie nods, pursing her lips in fear. Ryker gives her a quick kiss, then slips from the truck. He tucks his weapon neatly out of sight, then gives her a wink and strolls off as if he hasn’t a care in the world, all the items he pulled from the bag out of sight except for the goggles, which he carries in a plastic sack. Ronnie watches him go, just another guy walking with a bag of groceries, until he disappears from her view before she moves to the driver’s seat and settles in to wait.

  CHAPTER TWELVE

Ryker crouches across the road from the Masood residence. He has been waiting for nearly two hours and it is now nearly midnight and houses have been steadily going dark as the families turn in for the evening. He decides it is time to put his plan into motion. He slips the night-vision goggles on and moves silently down to his target. “Ronnie… Ryker. I’m going in. Stand by to move.”
