“Lexi, why don’t you tell Brent what you told me on the way over, hm? What was your reaction to watching me fuck him?” Travis asked, tipping his head back and sucking in one of her dangling breasts. He teased her aching nipple, holding her between his teeth while his tongue circled and lashed the sensitive pebble. His eyes never left hers, challenging her to answer him. Brent ceased stroking her.

“I told Travis you two turned me on,” Lexi offered, casting a sensual glance over her shoulder at Brent. “I couldn’t help myself. I never thought the idea would pique my interest, let alone set me on the edge of an orgasm.”

“Is that so?” Brent teased, standing up. “Come on.”

Travis straightened up, releasing her nipple as his head came level with her shoulders. Lexi frowned.

“You two know how to tease a woman,” she mumbled, allowing Brent to grab her around the waist and pull her to shore. He led her to a blanket spread out behind his truck. Her gaze rolled over the spread of sandwiches and beer and fruit, but her attention became fixed on the tubes of lubrication and packages of condoms. Her heart immediately sped up, leaving her briefly light-headed and suddenly seething hot.

Travis came around her, tugging her against his glistening body, and crushed his mouth to hers. She melted in his embrace and his demanding, possessive kiss. They stumbled onto the blanket, and somehow she ended up straddling him, his cock gliding through her slick pussy lips.

“Trav, you look hot with her,” Brent coaxed behind her. She dove her fingers into Travis’s hair, trying to take control of the kiss. Even on his back, he still managed to lead her on his wild, untamed desires.

“Alexis, you have no idea how hard it was for us not to take you together last night,” Brent murmured close to her ear. She reached back and looped her arm around his neck, tugging him down to meet their battling mouths.

Brent added the spark to the kiss that lit her up. Rhythm was lost, but the raw passion remained as they fought for control. Lexi submitted to their plundering kisses. She was lost beneath the sensations of their hands coasting over her body. Somewhere in the tangle of limbs and hands and tongues, fingers escaped the melee and found her pussy.

The rough pads separated her slick labia and stroked her into a frenzy. She writhed, panting for breath between the kisses, encased between hot muscles. When she reached between her legs to urge those fingers to quicken their pace, Brent’s weight lifted from her back, his mouth from hers and Travis’s, and he grabbed her wrist, pinning her hand next to Travis’s head.

The fingers ceased playing her clit.

  “No. Keep going,” she begged.

“We will,” Travis gasped, his chest rising and falling rapidly. He secured both of her hands by his head and smiled up at her. “Together.”

She felt the cool liquid then, slipping between the globes of her ass. She threw a glance over her shoulder and saw Brent at her rear, stroking down the valley to her anus. The thick lube covering his fingers let him glide with ease.

“Remember what we said last night, doll?” Brent asked, his blue eyes lifting to hers. His thumb found her tight rosette. He worked the resisting muscles, tugging her hips back with his other arm. “Relax. Lean into me.”

Lexi fought the urge to tense, pressing back onto his thumb. He worked her slowly, gently invading her one torturous centimeter at a time.

“Easy,” Travis soothed. “How about I make you come, hm?”

“Is that a promise? Or a tease?” Lexi asked. Her answer came when Travis cupped her pussy and slid two fingers into her. He flicked her clit with his thumb, stimulating her nerves while stroking the pleasure spot inside her body.

She closed her eyes, absorbing the initial pinch of pressure from being invaded in virgin territory. As Brent slid his thumb deeper, she relaxed a little more, the new sensation and touching of different nerves obscuring her thoughts. His thumb twisted inside her, then pulled out. A moment later, the pressure increased as he eased two fingers inside her anus, stretching her, preparing her to accept his cock.

Her lips parted and she whimpered, that raw ecstasy rolling in at a frightening pace. Her fingers curled in the blanket beside Travis’s head. She held her breath, the dual stroking in her pussy becoming a vicious catalyst for ultimate pleasure.

“Faster, Travis. Faster,” she whined, undulating her hips over Travis’s merciless touch. Her body shook, wave after wave of bone-melting climax slamming into her, thrashing her in euphoric waters. “Yes. Oh god, yes.”

“Not teasin’ you, baby,” Travis murmured. “But you’re sure as hell teasin’ me.”

Lexi’s vision shook as she tried to focus on Travis’s strained expression. Brent pressed down on her lower back, opening her to him.

“Let me ride you,” she said. “I had Brent’s cock last night. I want yours now.”

“Demanding little thing.” Travis lifted his head. “How does he feel in your ass?”

Lexi pushed back onto his fingers. “Brent, I can handle more. I want you both, and I’m losing my patience.”

Brent chuckled, pulling his fingers from her hole. She looked back at him and almost protested until she saw why he stopped. He ripped open one foil square and removed the condom.

“Put this on him, doll,” he said, tearing open a second package and removing another condom. Lexi sheathed Travis’s cock and eagerly positioned his wide head against her vagina. He thrust his hips up, taking her by surprise, and then pulled her down over him.

Brent grabbed her hips and pressed his cock to the entrance of her rear hole. She gasped, anticipating pain and discomfort, but only a delightful pressure accompanied each slow-moving inch of his dick into her body.

“Aw hell,” Brent growled. His fingers dug into her hips. She eased off Travis and then slid down his length. The strain in his expression deepened. “You are so sinfully tight. Don’t clench your muscles. I’m about ready to come.”

“So am I,” Travis confessed. “Lexi, you have no idea how good you feel around me. I can feel Brent’s dick sliding against mine. I can feel the residual tremors from your orgasm coasting along my cock. Your ass might be tight, baby, but your pussy is one helluva hot haven.”

“This is incredible,” Lexi cooed. “I feel so full. You’re touching places inside me I didn’t realize could feel so good.”

“It gets better,” Brent assured, sitting balls-deep inside. He let out a sharp breath. “You took me graciously, Lexi. Am I hurting you?”

“Not at all. I like the way you feel.”

“We’ll be feelin’ even better.” Brent leaned over her back and folded his hands over hers. Travis reached up and grabbed his wrists.

“Ohhh,” Lexi moaned as Brent rocked against her rear. Travis’s dick strummed her clit with each rhythmic motion, while Brent’s awakened an eroticism that had been locked inside her all her life. Each gentle, simultaneous pump into her body stirred new and old sensations together, muddling her thoughts until all she could do was feel.

“Yes, baby. That’s right. Take what you want,” Travis urged. He lifted his head and pressed a kiss to her lips. “Take us both as we take you.”

“You have me,” she whispered, falling into his kiss, hungry for more. He gave her what she sought, plundering her mouth with raw, untamed desire.

Brent’s strokes grew more languid and long before quickening. He led their rhythm, Travis and Lexi following. The pressure swirled low in her womb, filling her with a sweep of dull tingles that evolved into a maddening tapping.

“I’m coming,” Lexi said on a short breath. Brent sat her down on Travis’s cock in one sharp motion. Pleasure ripped through her, wrenching a scream of pure delight. She flew through the blinding white against the back of her eyelids, and the rolling orgasm that shook her down to the bone. Her men continued to move, more desperate, more demanding, holding her over the peak of pleasure, tuning her body until another wave crashed into the one pummeling her. Her heart stammered, slamming against her sternum.

/>   A roar of sheer excitement pierced through the deafening rush of blood in her head. Brent gripped her shoulders, holding himself entirely inside her, the hint of tremors scampering down to his fingers. Travis held her hips to his, his breaths ragged over her lips. She could feel their climaxes resonate in the throbs that struck through their cocks, mimicking the contractions that slowly, slowly faded in her own body.

Lexi tucked her head against Travis’s chest as they came down from their wondrous peaks. She closed her eyes, absorbing the musky air rippling between them, infused with the scent of fresh morning sunshine. She played her fingers over Travis’s pec, listening to the furious pace of his heart.

Brent was the first to move, taking care as he withdrew from her body. She propped her head up on her fist, watching him discard the condom into a plastic bag and use a bottle of water to rinse his hands. He grabbed a couple sandwiches, a container of grapes and sliced strawberries, and settled down on his side.

“Lie beside me, sweetheart,” Brent said quietly.

Travis rolled them over and eased out of her, helping her settle next to Brent. He twisted, removing his condom, and lay back on the other side of Lexi. She folded her arms beneath her head and smiled up at the two men cocooning her with steely strength and warmth.

And at that very moment, she realized she found where she belonged.

  Chapter Fourteen

Dom hushed his men at the resounding knock on his office door. He pulled up the video monitor on his desk and focused the picture on Mick’s face. The man danced from one foot to the other, glancing impatiently at his watch. The subtle flashes of lights stretching down the hallway from the main club area assured him no one else accompanied his tech man.

With a sharp flick of his wrist, Danny took a seat in the chair angled toward his desk, while two of his other men took up seats on the sofa. He buzzed Mick into the office. A thunder of bass followed him into the room. He quickly shut the door, closing out the loud booms behind soundproof walls.

“Sir,” Mick greeted, hurrying over to the desk.

“I’m not to be interrupted, Mick,” Dom said, settling himself into his chair and folding his hands over his desk.

“I’ve been able to track a signal for only a moment, but it’s stationary.” Mick pulled out his tablet. His fingers breezed over the screen. He put the screen in front of Dom, pointing to a flashing dot. Dom leaned over the tablet, observing the dot and the streets labeled around it. “The phone’s in Kansas. Only a few miles off the interstate.”

Dom looked up at Danny. “Call Jason. See if he’s still scouring the area. If so, we’ll send him out.”

“Got it,” Danny said, rolling to his feet from his chair and moving to the far corner of the room. Dom leaned back and turned his gaze up to Mick. “Is this the first signal you’ve received?”

“No. I’ve had two more momentary blips on the radar, but the phone itself hasn’t moved. Whether she discarded it or not, it’s hard to say. Doesn’t look like there’s much in the area.”

Dom nodded, his heart beating densely in his chest. He tamped down the building anxiety and the increasing hope of finding Lexi and silencing the threat she held to him and his business.

  * * * *

The bell jingled overhead as Travis entered the landscaping depot. He tipped the front of his Stetson toward one of the young employees and headed straight to the back of the store. His body was still humming from his day with Lexi, his chest overflowing with emotions for the stranded filly. A small grin twitched at the edges of his mouth. Funny how fate plays out sometimes. Brent’s arrival in Ryder over four years ago took him down a completely different path in life. Lexi’s arrival seemed to draw two estranged paths back together and secure them with a final knot.

She was the missing piece in his life and in his relationship with Brent.

He moved through the back door onto a shaded patio that housed an array of rocks and stones. He had come up a dozen stones short of completing Miss Bess’s walkway for her fountain display. It was his own fault for putting his duties off while he had a romp with Lexi and Brent at the pond.

Quiet voices drew him through the product display. He found the stones he needed and went in search for Mr. Bronson to help load his truck.

When he rounded the corner of a tall mosaic, he came up short, narrowing his eyes on the two ruffians dressed in fancy black pants and once-crisp white button-down shirts. Their hair was cut short, styled with gel. Their faces were clean shaven, gold-framed sunglasses hiding their eyes. Travis glanced down at one man’s hand where something glinted in the filtered sunlight.

Yep, with flashy gold rings and a glittering watch, these men most likely came from the city.

But what the hell were they doing in Ryder? In Mr. Bronson’s shop to boot?

One turned toward him. Travis moved closer to Mr. Bronson’s counter, his friend leaning against the top on his elbows. The man’s fine lines along his face had deepened, his eyes clouding with concern. His mouth turned down into a frown, but other than that, Travis was left to wonder what these two boys wanted.

“Hello, sir. Mind if I ask you a question?” one of the city boys asked. Travis tugged the edge of his hat lower over his forehead.

  “Who are you?” he asked.

“We’re detectives from Russell Police Department.”

“Oh? Didn’t know they had their own detectives there.” Travis hooked his thumbs on his belt. Something didn’t ring right with these two, but he played along. “What can I do for you?”

  “Have you seen this woman?”

The second city boy lifted a photograph from the counter and turned it to Travis. His heart skipped, a knot forming in his gut. He quickly schooled his expression, thankful to have his hat shadowing a good portion of his face.

“Nope,” Travis answered. He turned his attention to Mr. Bronson. With the city boys’ backs to the owner, Mr. Bronson quirked a questioning brow. “I need more stone. Miscalculated the retaining wall. Mind helping me load another few bricks into the truck?”

  “Course.”

“Sir,” city boy two interrupted. Travis squared his shoulders to the smaller-framed man. A brief once-over left him acutely aware of the gun holstered at his waist. If he took the bait about these two being detectives, it wouldn’t have bothered him. The fact that they trekked from New York in search of his woman left a sour taste in the back of his mouth and a fierce anger boiling in his soul.

“Sorry. I don’t know her,” Travis reiterated.

“You positive you haven’t seen her?”

Travis forced a smile and kept his tone level. “I’m sorry, your name?”

“Detective Caldwell. My partner is Detective Grand.”

“Pleasure to meet you. All due respect, a woman like her would have a helluva time blending in here. Being a detective from Russell, you’re surely aware we’re a pretty simple town?” Travis asked, biting back the urge to blow their cover. Unfortunately, one careless move would leave Lexi in danger.

The two men exchanged stoic glances. “We’re aware, but we were tipped off that her car was last seen broken down not far from here.”

  Travis shrugged. “What kinda car?”

  “BMW.”

He thought for a moment, pursed his lips, and shook his head. “Sorry. There’s one mechanic in Ryder, and he hasn’t towed any BMW.”

“Where can we find this mechanic?”

Travis waved a hand over his shoulder. “Down Knoll Road. Not sure if he’s on today, but worth a try.”

“Thanks for your cooperation. Her family is extremely worried about her,” city boy one said. His partner tucked the photo of the extremely decked-out Lexi into a manila folder and made their leave.

Travis watched the two as they moved through the shop. The moment they were through the front door, he pulled out his cell and dialed Brent. Mr. Bronson stepped up to him, a worried crease forming a deep ravine between his bushy brows.

  “Hey there,
Brent answered on a heavy breath. “What’s—”

“Move her car out of the shop. Hide it. We’ve got some boys nosing around town. They’ll be headin’ up your way soon.” Travis cut off. The phone line drew silent, tension riding the lines. “We haven’t seen her, Brent.”

“Course.” Brent disconnected the call. Travis groaned and turned to Mr. Bronson.

“I didn’t tell them nothin’, Trav. None of us will,” Mr. Bronson assured. “They said they’re from Russell. They’ve no detectives there. Gotta go to the city for them.”

“Pretty shoddy detective work, havin’ not gotten my name at the very least. They’ll leave when they come up empty,” Travis said, more to himself than the man. “Let’s load up. Gotta get back to work.”

Yep, he would be having a few words with his little filly once he got back to Miss Bess’s.

  Chapter Fifteen

Brent lay in wait beneath the pickup when he finally heard tires crunching over the dirt and pebble drive. Tipping his head back, he saw the swirl of dry dust kick up behind the slowly approaching SUV. The vehicle rolled right up to the bay. Two sets of feet dropped to the ground, tailored black pants fluttering around ankles. He didn’t miss the glint of silver in the ankle holster of one man before the sleeve of his pants fell into place.

“Be right with you,” Brent muttered, loosening the bolts to the tray. He glanced back as the men came up on either side of the truck. After he slid the tray into the bay, he settled his untucked shirt and greasy rag over the gun he tucked into the front of his pants.

“Sorry to bother you, sir,” one of the men greeted as Brent rolled out on the creeper into the bay. He climbed to his feet, holding the rag until his shirt hid the gun. He wiped the oil from his fingers and nodded once.

He cast a look toward the Suburban and flashed a rigid smile. “Sure doesn’t look like you’re needin’ repairs. What can I do for you?”

One of the men opened a folder and pulled out a photo. He silently thanked god that Travis had warned him ahead of time. He may have given her away had Travis not.
