The Wife Pact_Emerson Page 12

by Charlie Hart

"I know,” I say. "I think it's happening so fast because I’m carrying so many."

"It suits you," Giles tells me. “You’re already glowing.”

“I think that’s because of the sex-a-thon,” I say laughing as we walk through the barn.

"Should we go upstairs?" Fallon asks, his eyes raised to the loft.

I nod and the three of us silently make our way up the ladder. Halfway up my towel falls, landing on Fallon’s face.

"Hey, missy, don't ruin the view," he teases, tossing it down to the floor, before taking a big step and planting a kiss on my ass.

I erupt in a fit of giggles as the three of us find our way to the top of the loft. Plenty of people could sleep up here as there are mattresses lining the floor. It's cozy, with a low ceiling and a small skylight. The beds are made up with fluffy down comforters and duvets along with dozens of pillows. It’s a loft made for loving. And if I wasn’t convinced before that Emerson designed it with a family in mind, I am now.

"Emerson has good taste," Fallon says. "Can't fault him on that."

"You have good taste too," I tell him with a smile. "You put your name in my lottery after all."

"One look at you and I knew. Knew you would be mine." He pulls me into his arms, and I close my eyes savoring this moment, our skin on skin, his strong chest something I can sink against. Taking his strength.

Giles steps behind me, wrapping his arms around me too. We stay there like that, lost in our thoughts, our bodies warming up in the barn, our hearts wide open.

"I love you both so much," I tell them. "I so badly want to make you both fathers."

“Shhhh,” Fallon says. "It's all gonna be okay."

Giles places one hand on my stomach. “And we already are fathers.” He runs his other hand over my back, his touch soothing and comforting, filling me with strength. I remember the first night we made love, at the cabin in front of the fire. I was his first. A sense of pride rushes over me. I so very badly want to be his last.

"Are you scared?" I ask Giles, turning to face him, knowing he has already lost one woman he loved.

"No. I was chosen in the lottery, married the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, and then against all odds, she became pregnant. I feel like things are only going to get better from here. We all have decades of heartache behind us, but now, it's like we’re all finally getting a second chance."

"I hope you're right," I said breathlessly, pulling his mouth to mine.

God, how desperately I hope he's right.

I kiss him, his hands dragging over my skin, and the three of us fall onto a mattress, beginning to make love in a slow and steady way.

Fallon pulls me on top of himself, taking hold my hips and drawing my body to his cock, it’s effortless and seamless. Meant to be. Behind me, Giles begins to finger my backside, opening me up gently so my body can take his full, hard cock as well. When he slides himself into my ass, Fallon is already filling my pussy, and I bite back a moan that erupts from deep inside of me. Every cell in my body is on fire as he moves deeper.

Both my ass and my pussy begin to explode in pleasure as my husbands fill me entirely. They are both so big. So capable. So utterly handsome. So absolutely mine.

My body begins to overflow with pleasure as they rock against me, back and forth, in and out, teasing one another with our bodies. The pleasure of being filled with two men at once is electric and intense, and I savor it for what it is.

  So delicious.

Guess I'm not the only one eating a strawberry.

"Oh, God, Tia,” Fallon says, groaning as his hard cock releases inside me. My pussy is filled with his seed and I whimper as his thickness pumps deeper inside of me. "God, I'm coming so fucking hard."

I press my hands to his chest, bracing myself as he fills me, my own orgasm beginning to glide over my skin, my chest pounding, my eyes open, my soul alive.

Behind me, Giles releases himself into my backside, and I cry out, unable to hold back as the pleasure is unleashed.

"Oh Giles, yes, yes, yes," I moan, my body shaking as the sensation overwhelms me.

The men still themselves as I regain a sense of control, our bodies slick with sweat, all of us undone. Then I roll off them and fall onto the mattress, laughter overwhelming me, all of us. It’s exhilarating, giving myself over to my husbands.

When I'm with them, it's all pleasure, no pain. I know this can't last forever, but right now I'm holding it so damn tightly.

Soon, Emerson and Huxley join us, and we explore more of one another. Huxley spreads my knees, sucking my clit as Emerson gives me his full cock, my lips wrapped around his hardness, and he comes in my mouth as my pussy drips with delight. I lick Em’s tip, tasting his milky come, wanting more. Swallowing his release, my throat is coated in my husband’s salty come, just as it should be.

I beg them to come again, not ready to be finished. And they obey. Banks and Salinger find their way up the ladder, joining us on the floor. I stroke my husbands, sitting in the center of a circle, all of them around me, naked and wanting. I open my mouth, taking them one after the next. As I lean over, taking Giles cock, Banks grabs my ass, licking me up and down, and my hands take hold of the others, all of us orgasming. All of us needing more. Not wanting the night to end.

Sucking them off makes me feel beautiful and powerful. Seeing their pleasure is as much of a turn-on as feeling them buried inside of me.

The sky turns dark and I forget about time altogether. I ask them to give me a massage, and Salinger leaves the loft and grabs the food while my other husbands begin to run their hands over me, easing any lingering tension from my body.

On my stomach, I feel their thick cocks running over my bare skin. Banks lifts my knees up slightly and massages my ass, spreading my cheeks, then easing his cock in slowly.

I’m on my elbows, and Huxley moves under me, lifting me up slightly so he can take my pussy as Banks takes me from behind. My breasts press hard against his chest and I’m crying out in pleasure as my body is taken to new heights.

I look up and Fallon is kneeling before me, and I take his cock again, sucking him off, his tight balls aching for more as the four of us move in a perfect rhythm, a harmony only found when you completely and utterly give yourself over to another human.

Salinger returns as my orgasm rolls over me. I’m crying out, as my body floods with endorphins. My husbands roll off of me, and I sit up, catching my breath. I drink water, needing to stay hydrated, and a smile breaks across my face. This is pure joy, absolute bliss.

Then Salinger begins feeding me slices of apples, all of us basking in the glow of our night together. We eat, kiss, and touch. All of us are completely relaxed. It’s like a dam has broken, and we allow hope into our hearts, setting aside our fears. We talk about baby names and diaper duty, and how we're going to manage so many sleepless nights.

We don't let our minds roam into the uncharted territory of what might happen if…

  So many ifs.

But we don't go there. Tonight it's just about pleasure.

Nightmares can be laid to rest. Right now, we let ourselves dream.

  Chapter 22

  Emerson

The sun is just rising as Tia and the others wake up. I’ve been up for over an hour. Cleaning up and gathering eggs and fresh milk for this morning’s breakfast. The light in the farmhouse kitchen is on, and I know my mom has been awake as long as I have; most likely preparing fresh bread, bacon, and other mouthwatering treats.

Growing up, she was always the first to rise, making sure her boys were properly fed. We may have worked the fields, but there was never any doubt that she was the hardest worker of all of us.

“Breakfast time,” I say, sliding the barn door open and letting the cool morning air fill the barn.

“Shit,” Huxley mutters. “What time is it.”

  “Time to get up.”

I help Tia stand, kissing her softly, before telling her, “I’m going to the house to help my mom with breakfast
.”

“Do you want me to come?”

“No. Take your time getting dressed.”

She pulls me in for one more kiss, before letting go. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” So damn much. In fact, I’m starting to realize that I love all the members of my new family.

Even Banks is starting to grow on me.

Inside the farmhouse, I deposit the eggs and milk on the large wood island in the kitchen, then kiss my mom’s cheek.

  “Good morning. Everything smells delicious.”

She swats my hand away when I reach for one of the biscuits she just pulled from the oven.

“If you want to help, start making coffee.”

I grab the can of coffee. “How was Mason last night?”

“Better.” She starts cracking eggs into a large bowl. “I think he’s beginning to understand why we kept the truth from him.”

“So, you’re really my dad?” A sleepy voice says from the kitchen doorway.

I swallow hard when I turn and meet my son’s gaze. “Yeah, buddy. I really am.”

  He nods. “Okay.”

“I did what I thought was best for you.” I take a step towards him, but he tenses, so I stop. “I never wanted to hurt you. Just protect you.”

“So, does this mean I have to come live with you?”

My chest squeezes. “Is that what you want?”

His lips twist, and I can see him thinking. Finally, he says, “I want to stay here with Mom and Dad.”

Mom and Dad. That’s what they’ll always be to him. And while I wish I could be his father in more than just name, I know I’ll never have the same relationship with him as if I’d raised him myself.

“Okay, buddy. You can stay here.” As long as Helene doesn’t come after him. But Salinger is already working on making sure the woman has no legal rights to him, even if she shows up demanding a DNA test to prove he’s hers. “But if you ever need anything, I’ll be here for you. Understand?”

He nods, then his face lights up, and he says, “So, that means I’m going to have another six brothers.”

“Or sisters,” I say, a grin tugging at my lips.

“Can we visit your compound after they’re born?”

  “Of course.”

With a smile, he darts off before I can say anything else, and I catch my mom smiling at me.

I smile too, knowing his innocence, his belief that everything will work out okay, is the kind of hope my family needs right now. It’s the kind of hope I used to have, but it feels like over the last few weeks I’ve lost some shreds of it. Especially, after seeing Saint Augustine’s. But now, seeing the light in Mason’s eyes reminds me that this fight isn’t over yet.

The cure won’t just mean a future for the unborn children. It means a future for young boys like Mason, who will one day need wives of their own.

“I told you everything would work out.” My mom pats my hand, then turns back to the stove.

“You’ve done a good job with him. I just hope I can be as good a parent as you when the time comes.”

“You will be,” Tia says as she comes into the kitchen, looking as beautiful as ever, a flush to her cheeks.

The other five husbands come in behind her, along with my dad, taking their seats around the large oak table. Smiles stretch across their faces as they dig into my mom’s food. And the conversation flows easily, my parents accepting my new family like it’s just as natural as their traditional one.

Banks and my mom are in a deep conversation, and once the meal is finished and we’ve helped clear off the table, he approaches me.

“I’d like to go with you to collect the flower samples.”

“Sure.” There’s still some unease between us.

The man is the opposite of everything I am, but I’m starting to think that’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially as we hike the hills towards the west coast of the island, and he starts opening up to me.

“You’re one lucky bastard, you know that?” He grunts as I give him my hand to help him up a ledge on the rocky outcrop.

  “Why’s that?”

He straightens when he’s up on the ledge. “This. Your family. Everything you grew up with. It’s rare in this world.”

“Thought you hated my backward upbringing.”

He grunts again. “I think I was jealous.”

My brows raise involuntarily. It’s probably the most open he’s ever been with me.

“A hundred college degrees and no amount of money in the world can buy this.”

I glance out at the ocean in front of us, then slowly turn, taking in the lush rolling, green hills, and I know he’s right.

He sits down on a rock and steeples his fingers against his mouth, dark eyes thoughtful. “Who owns this land?”

I follow his gaze. “I guess I do.”

“You?” It’s his turn to raise his brows.

“My grandfather owned this side of the island. My brothers weren’t born when he passed, and he left the entire plot of land to me in his will.”

“And you never thought to mention that before?”

I shrug. “It’s not worth much. The old house he and my grandmother raised my mom in is long gone.”

“It may not be worth much financially, but...” He shakes his head, his gaze roaming across the landscape, then falling on a small white blossom that’s growing out of a crevice in the rocks. He plucks it and twists the stem between his thumb and index finger. He mutters, “Maybe...”

  “Maybe what?”

He glances up at me, a rare smile pulling at his lips, and hope flaring in his eyes. “When Tia gives birth; when she has a daughter, she’ll be free. We’ll be free. The rules state that we won’t have to live in the compound.”

I frown, not knowing what he’s getting at. “It’s safe there.”

“In some ways, yes. But is that how you want to raise our children? Surrounded by walls and men with guns fencing them in. Fencing you in.”

  “What are you suggesting?”

He raises his hands, stretching his arms and motioning to the expanse. “This.”

“You want to move here?” My throat tightens.

  “Yes.”

I blink at him, wondering if he’s playing some kind of a joke because this is Banks we’re talking about. Cold, aloof, all about work and books. But I see in his expression that he means what he says.

“We could build a house right over there...” He points to the highest point on the hill. “And a barn, with chickens, and sheep, and maybe even a pony...”

I chuckle, still shocked by his words.

“The others would never go for it. What about their jobs?”

“It’s only a short boat ride to the mainland. And hell, with this much land we could build a small airport. Have Fallon fly us in.”

The temptation he’s offering is almost too much because it’s a dream that I haven’t let myself think about.

  “You really think it’s possible?”

“I do. And I don’t think it will take much convincing of the guys or Tia. We could make a real home here.”

We’re both lost in our thoughts for a long time. And when I finally look at him, I can tell his thoughts have turned dark, can practically read the fear in his eyes. And I know that as beautiful a dream it is to move to the island, build a house, and create a home here, we first need to save our wife and babies.

  Chapter 23

  Tia

The time at Emerson’s parents’ farm was like a small, much-needed vacation. But coming home is just as sweet this time because the men have been working on a surprise for me. One that I knew nothing about.

“Are your eyes closed?” Em asks, holding my hand and guiding me down the hall.

“Yes. Tell me what this is about.”

“You’ll see in a second.” Fallon’s voice is behind me.

I can practically feel the men’s excitement around me.

  “Okay,” Giles whispers in my
ear. “Open your eyes.”

When I do, a small gasp escapes my lips. The large room that’s lain empty since we moved in, has been completely decorated in soft pastels. Six homemade cradles are lined up along one wall, two changing tables on the other. A large wooden toy chest is open, filled with toys that our children won’t be able to play with for years. And there’s a three-story dollhouse in one corner, complete with handcrafted wooden people.

I’m speechless by all the small details. The pictures of cartoon animals on the walls, the rocking chair that looks like an antique, but was obviously crafted by one of my husbands.

“What do you think?” Fallon asks. “If there’s anything you don’t like, we can change it.”

“No.” I shake my head, still in awe, tears forming in my eyes. “It’s absolutely perfect.”

Fallon’s arms wrap around me and he kisses me gently. “Only the best for you and our children.”

“You’re all so good to me.”

“This is only the beginning, sweetheart,” Huxley says, pulling me away from Fallon and tilting my chin up so that he can kiss me as well. “Everything I have is yours. I’ve made sure of it.” There’s an intensity to his words that worries me. “You’ll always be taken care of.”

He’s always showering me with presents, items that I have no idea how he gets hold of. But all that I really need are my men, and maybe a little more space. These cookie cutter houses weren’t built for a family of six husbands and six babies.

“Well, we may need to think about putting an addition on this place. One room for six babies is fine, but what happens when they start wanting space of their own.”

Banks coughs. “Actually Emerson and I were talking about that.”

I turn to look at him, surprised that Em and he talk about anything other than the hundred and one things they disagree on.

Emerson drags his fingers back through his long hair, the muscles in his biceps flexing as he does, and gives a sheepish grin.

“Are you going to fill us in?” Fallon asks.

Banks nods at Emerson to tell us.

“We...” A flash of insecurity crosses Em’s features, and he says quickly, “We were thinking that after the babies are born, once Tia has her freedom, that we could move to the island. I own a piece of land there. A large piece, actually.”
