Rhodes spread her pussy lips apart and breathed in her scent before licking her slit from bottom to top, moaning as he did. Jessie wiggled at the amazing feeling of his mouth on her most private area. She had never dreamed anyone, much less them, would want to taste her there. He laid his hand across her pelvis to hold her still.
“Be still, baby. I want to eat this delicious cunt until you scream for me. Then Vernon is going to do it again.”
Rhodes returned to licking and sucking on her juices, sending shards of heat straight to her womb. He licked her pussy lips over and over, throwing gasoline onto her already-roaring fire.
Vernon’s mouth drew hard on one nipple while he pulled and prodded on the other one. The sensations joined the ones Rhodes was creating, driving her wild with need. She couldn’t believe how good they were making her feel, and she hadn’t done a thing for them yet. God, what would they expect from her? She would never be able to make them feel half as good as they were making her feel. Her orgasm was building deep inside her cunt, and she was powerless to control it.
Vernon’s lips circled her nipple as he flattened it against the roof of his mouth. Then he released it and moved to the other one. The rasp of his teeth across her tender flesh sent tingles all along her nerve endings. She wanted to feel him bite down on her, making her his. That thought frightened her. Why would she give herself to someone else when she couldn’t get away from Tussler and Ray fast enough? She didn’t need to belong to anyone to be happy. She just needed them to love her and treat her decent.
The realization that she was so deeply in love with the two men already was a sobering thought. She started to push them away and sit up, but Rhodes pressed a finger inside of her pussy at the same time he licked across her swollen clit, and she lost all rational thought.
Jessie opened her eyes, realizing that she’d been daydreaming again. She couldn’t afford to waste time doing that when she needed to be on her toes around her uncle. No doubt he was reporting her every move back to her brother and Ray. The more she thought about it, the better running sounded to her. All she needed now was a plan—and a lot of luck.
Chapter Two
Rhodes took the exit that promised a truck stop. It was closing in on dinnertime and they were less than an hour away from Whistler’s Point where Jessie was supposed to be. They needed to be at their best when they got there. They had no idea what to expect. He was sure that Tussler would have called and warned them to be on the lookout for them.
Vernon pulled up on the other side of the gas pump when he stopped. They would gas up and get something to eat while they made their plans. Vernon nodded at him as they both climbed off their bikes.
“Planning on eating while we’re here?” Vernon asked.
“Yeah. Best to eat while we can. I don’t know what we’ll be in for when we get there. I’m expecting trouble.”
“More than likely.”
They finished topping off their tanks then pulled over to the building to park. After paying for their gas, they took a seat in the diner and ordered burgers and fries. Rhodes could feel the tension rolling off of Vernon in waves. His friend couldn’t stand the idea of Jessie coming to any harm. The fact he hadn’t gone ballistic and killed Ray after what he’d done to Jessie already was a testament to his vow to always remain in control.
He and Vernon had been in the Marines together for four years. They’d seen the backside of hell and come out of it alive. While they had been overseas, he’d watched Vernon nearly lose it when they’d found one of their own men raping a teenage girl in a village they were supposed to be protecting. It had taken him and two others to pull him off of the disgraced soldier. Not that the man hadn’t deserved a good beating, but Vernon had been out for more than blood.
Vernon had confessed that he’d joined the Marines to get away from his dad before he killed the man for beating his mom all the time. He had thought it would teach him discipline and help him learn to control himself. He was afraid of becoming the same type of man his father was. Rhodes had tried to tell him the fact that he had walked away from the situation proved he wasn’t like his old man, but he didn’t believe him. He said the only reason he hadn’t killed him was because his mom still loved the bastard and he couldn’t do that to his mom.
Not long after that, they had started sharing women. Rhodes was a voyeur and loved to watch while Vernon pleasured a woman. There was nothing like seeing the female face change as she climaxed. It just did it for him.
Vernon liked to share because he felt safe that way. He thought that with Rhodes there beside him that he’d never hurt a woman like his father did. He didn’t trust himself alone with one. Rhodes knew in his heart that Vernon would never hurt a woman, but he went along with his friend because it made him happy. He had no doubt the other man wouldn’t touch a woman if he had to do it alone. He hoped that Jessie’s love would eventually prove to him that he wasn’t like his father.
When they got out after their four year, four month stent it was to find out that Vernon’s dad had finally killed his wife. Rhodes thanked God every day that the bastard was already in prison for it or he had no doubt Vernon would have put him in the ground.
They’d met Reece and Dominic soon after their discharge while riding their bikes across Texas. Impressed with their values and how they treated other people, accepting Dom’s offer for them to join them wasn’t a difficult choice. Neither of them had a place to call home anymore, so joining with The Ghost Riders made sense.
Since becoming a part of the gang, they felt as if they belonged somewhere again. The other members had the same moral code and sense of right and wrong that they did. Neither of them had regretted their decision a single time.
“Do we ride up and knock on the door or do we break in after dark and grab her?” Vernon’s mind was obviously on nothing but finding Jessie.
“We don’t know the lay of the land, so I don’t think B and E is a good idea. More than likely they know we’re coming. They’ll be prepared. I think the best approach is the front door. Find out what we’re up against and make sure she’s still there. Once we know all of that, we can decide what to do next. Hell, if we’re lucky, we can just walk off with her.”
“Fuck luck. You know it never falls our way.” Vernon finished his hamburger and turned up his beer.
“Better call in and let Dom know we’re still alive and not behind bars.” Rhodes grinned.
Dominic was the president of their motorcycle club, The Ghost Riders. Some people called them a gang, but he preferred to be called The Ghost Riders M.C. Reece was their vice president. He and Rhodes were part of security for the club. Butch was their sergeant with his partner, Walker, his right-hand man. He had no doubt that if they weren’t ass-deep in alligators already back in Reo that they would have all come with them to get Jessie back.
Right now, The Ghost Riders were dealing with not only Sons of Satan dirtying up their town, but The Skulls had ridden in with some unknown agenda. To top it all off, Dom and Reece had themselves a woman staying with them that was in a bit of trouble herself. No, they were on their own with this. He would keep them updated so they wouldn’t try and divide the group to help them. It would weaken them too much.
While Rhodes called to report in, Vernon settled their bill and grabbed some supplies in case they ended up running with Jessie and couldn’t stop any place in public for a while. They’d meet up at the bikes.
“Hey, Rhodes. How is it going?” Dom’s voice sounded strained.
“We’re still alive and kicking. Just about an hour outside of where they’re keeping her. We’ll be back on the road back by dawn.”
“Don’t do anything stupid, Rhodes. Watch Vernon. You know he won’t handle it well if they refuse to let her leave with you.”
“Forget Vernon. I’m not letting them keep her either, Dom. You knew that when we left.”
He heard Dom say something to someone. “Hell, I know. Reece said to at least size things up before you
do anything drastic. Make sure you know all the details first.”
“We’re not going in blind. We’re going to pretend to be civilized and knock on the door first. Depending what we find out will determine how we play it.” Rhodes saw Vernon heading back toward the bikes with several sacks in his hands. “Got to run. Vernon’s back.”
“Keep in touch, Rhodes.”
Rhodes pressed off and stuffed his phone back on his belt holder. Vernon nodded at him and started filling their saddlebags with water and snacks. When they were finished, they strapped on their helmets and climbed back on their bikes to head out.
He thumbed his mic when they were less than a mile from the house.
“You ready to do this?”
“I was born ready. Let’s get her back.” Vernon’s gruff comeback worried him.
If they had trouble right off the bat, he wasn’t sure how his partner would handle it. Shaking his head, he figured all he could do was watch his back. They pulled up the gravel drive several minutes later and climbed off their bikes after shutting them off. There was an old beat-up Chevy sitting under the carport and an oil spot where another vehicle probably parked when it was there.
They had just walked up toward the front door when it was opened and a rail-thin woman walked out with a cigarette in her mouth. She looked them over then shook her head.
“She’s not here. Hue’s gone looking for her though, so you better find her first. There’s no telling what that man will do to her when he gets his hand on her.”
“Where did she go?” Vernon asked.
Neither man walked any closer. They didn’t trust that she wasn’t hiding a gun or that there wasn’t someone else in the house with her.
“Don’t have a clue. I knew she was going to run though. She doesn’t want anything to do with Ray, and I can’t say as I blame her. The man’s a sick bastard. Don’t know how Tussler could turn her over to the likes of him.”
“Fuck! If she’d stayed put, we’d have gotten her away from him.” Vernon turned and headed back to his bike.
“I don’t think it even occurred to her that you would come looking for her. Hue must have gotten wind that you were on your way, though, because he had already called his friends to come over and help him get rid of you. They’re out there with him looking for her.” The woman shrugged and turned to go back inside.
“Isn’t there anything you can tell us that might help us figure out which direction to look?” Rhodes couldn’t believe that the woman didn’t know something worthwhile.
She didn’t turn back around, but she didn’t go on inside either. “She talked about a friend, Ginger, in Arkansas outside a little town called Springdale. Don’t know that’s where she went, but it’s all I’ve got.”
“Does your husband know about it?” Rhodes asked.
“Nope. He didn’t ask.” She walked inside the house and closed the door behind her.
Vernon and Rhodes jumped back on their bikes and after starting them, tore out of the drive headed back toward town. They needed a map and a plan. If they got lucky they would find both somewhere in Whistler’s Point.
Rhodes pulled into a gas station on the edge of town. He hoped they would have a map of Arkansas he could buy. He had no idea where in Arkansas Springdale would be located. He hoped it would be close. The sooner they found her, the faster they could get back home. He had no illusions that once they had her all their troubles would be over.
He walked inside the little store with Vernon right behind him. Looking around, he located a stand with maps and hurried over to it. It didn’t take him long to figure out they didn’t have what he was looking for. Frustration made him curse. Vernon started to walk toward the door to leave when a thin teenager called out from behind the counter.
“Hey. Do you need help finding something?”
“You don’t have what we’re looking for.” Vernon had his hand on the door to push it open.
“What are you looking for?” The kid seriously needed to lose some of his curiosity.
“Map of Arkansas.” Rhodes reached the front as Vernon opened the door.
“I’ve got Internet on my computer. I can look up where you’re heading and at least get you on the right road.”
Rhodes stopped and turned around to look at the scrawny boy. Shaking his head, he walked over to the counter.
“We’re looking for a town called Springdale, Arkansas. Can you find it on your computer?” Rhodes was basically computer illiterate. He left all of that crap to Turk back home.
Vernon walked over to join him in front of the counter. Rhodes just shrugged. He figured they could use all the help they could get. If the kid could get them on a main road heading in that direction, they could stop and buy a map once they got over the state line.
“What’s your name, kid?” Vernon asked, stepping up to the counter.
“Reggie. It’ll take just a second for me to pull up the Internet.” He clicked some buttons on the laptop he’d set on the counter and waited. “What’s in Springdale?”
“A friend,” Rhodes said.
He didn’t want to give away too much information in case someone ever asked the kid questions. Reggie was a little too helpful to trust.
“Okay, got it up. Let’s see how far it is from here.”
Rhodes leaned over the counter and looked at the map that came up. The kid had been smart and pulled it up on MapQuest and had gotten directions from where they were to Springdale. He really liked this kid.
“Don’t suppose you have a printer hidden away back there do you?”
“Naw, sorry. I’ll write down the directions for you, and it should get you close enough till you can find a map.” The kid grabbed a pen and tore out a sheet of paper from a notepad.
While Reggie copied the directions, Rhodes pulled out his billfold. When the teenager handed him the directions, he handed the kid some money.
“Oh, you don’t have to pay me for the directions. I’m just glad to help.” He tried to give the money back, but Rhodes just walked off with Vernon behind him.
“Thanks for the help, kid. Means a lot,” Vernon said.
Rhodes looked over at his partner and could tell the man was surprised that the kid had helped them considering what they looked like. He should have been afraid of them, two big men with tattoos and riding motorcycles. He doubted many others would have offered.
They pulled out of Whistler’s Point and took two rights until they were out on a two-lane highway heading for the state line. He couldn’t help but wonder how Jessie had managed to get away from her aunt and uncle without them knowing. Then he wondered how she planned to make it to Arkansas and her friend. Did she have money for a bus ticket or was she hitching rides? That thought soured his stomach. Hitching was dangerous.
“Rhodes, we need to stop for the night. Neither one of us has had any sleep in a while.” Vernon’s voice over the speaker startled him.
“Yeah, you’re right. I’m already having trouble seeing, I’m so sleepy. A few hours should do it. We’ll stop at the next town.”
They had been on the road for nearly two hours, but it felt like six. He was exhausted, and the fact that he hadn’t realized it only proved it was time for them to crash. The next town proved to be large enough to boast a Days Inn. They rented a room with two queen beds, and after eating a quick meal of burgers and fries, showered and climbed into bed.
“I’m worried about her, Rhodes. Where is she tonight? What if she’s not safe and we’re here sleeping while she’s hurt?”
“Stop it, Vernon. You’re only going to keep yourself awake, and we need the rest if we’re going to find her tomorrow.”
“I should have killed Ray for what he did to her.”
There it was. The thing that had been bothering Vernon all along. Rhodes sighed. It didn’t sit well with him either that they hadn’t done anything to Ray over what he’d done. Killing the bastard would have landed them in jail and Jessie still in a bad situation with her bro
ther. They’d agreed that until she was safe they wouldn’t do anything to the man. Her safety was all that mattered. Later, when things had settled down, they would pay Ray a visit late one night.
“We talked about this, Vernon. You can’t do her any good if you’re in jail.”
“You’d take care of her.”
“I couldn’t do it without you. We work together. She belongs to both of us.” Rhodes waited for Vernon to say something.
“She may not want both of us, Rhodes.”
“Bullshit. She wasn’t screaming my name while you were sucking on her pussy. Stop thinking about it and get some sleep. We’ve got a hell of a day ahead of us tomorrow. We should be there by ten.”
He heard Vernon turn over in the bed next to his. All he could think about was how good it would feel to finally have Jessie between them. His cock hardened at the thought of her sweet body naked and waiting on them. Resigned to trying to sleep with a hard-on, Rhodes closed his eyes and thought about loving on Jessie until he finally fell asleep.
Chapter Three
Jumping out of the truck, Jessie waved at the old man who’d given her a ride into town. She’d been very lucky when he had pulled into the gas station outside of Whistler’s Point early that morning. When she slipped out of her uncle’s house at five that morning, she wasn’t sure how she was going to get away. All she knew was that she had to get away. Sooner or later Ray would be back to get her. She wasn’t sitting around waiting on the bastard to abuse her.
After packing what she could into the backpack, Jessie had climbed out her bedroom window and walked to town. Her uncle wouldn’t wake up before eight on a Sunday for sure. If she was lucky, he wouldn’t get out of bed till after nine. By then she should be long gone.
When she made it to the gas station on the other side of town, Jessie began to worry about how she was going to get out of town. Then she spotted the old man about to climb into his old pickup truck. He looked safe enough, and his tag said he was from Arkansas, just where she wanted to go.
