Suddenly, I saw a supernaturally glowing sword being driven into the beast from behind. I let out another scream as it fell just by my feet, its brown-red eyes staring up at me . . . dead.
I looked up slowly to see Lucifer standing over the body of the dead beast, eyes glowing unnaturally in the dark.
And then, I surrendered myself to the warm and welcoming darkness of unconsciousness.
