My One and Only: A Bad Boy Secret Baby Second Chance Romance Page 4

by Weston Parker

“I’m building up anxiety too,” said Breanna. “That’s why I hoped to burn off a little stress here tonight.” I didn’t have to speak slut to know what she meant. She was down to fuck.

“Then why are we here talking about the fucking test? We should be unwinding and enjoying the music.”

We finished watching Rock and Mayhem’s encore performance, and before it was over, Breanna had cozied herself up against me, her arm locked in mine as if we were on a date.

The band left the stage, and the two girls stepped over to whisper and stare, both seemingly confident they had found their hookups for the night.

All I could think about was Kya walking out on that stage, and soon enough, the band was announced, and the music started. The energy shifted around me as everyone screamed. It was pretty amazing to see it was all for her and her band, and when they took the stage, I could barely breathe looking up at her. While everyone else in the room stared up at her like she was some kind of goddess, all I could think about was the girl who ripped my heart out and stomped on it.

I had poured my heart out to her and told her my true feelings, given her my virginity, only to have her give me some bullshit line about wanting to remain friends. If our friendship was so goddamned important, then why did she not call me and try to make things right? Instead, we’d never spoken again.

The music was so loud, and her voice was even more powerful than it had been when she was younger. I could see how in five years, she’d really matured in her art. She worked the audience on the other side of the stage, reaching down to touch their hands, and it gave me an idea.

I would make sure she saw me. I stood pressed against the stage, Breanna back at my side, and Jon and Mindy dancing and jumping to the beat, their hands in the air. When Kya made her way over, she reached down touching hands, and when she passed me, our fingertips touched a split-second before our eyes met.

Hers widened, and she flashed me a smile, not missing a beat as she got up and went back to the middle of the stage. After the song was over, she walked to the side as the band geared up for the next song and pointed me out to security. I waited to see if they were tossing me out or sending a message.

As the muscular guard approached, Jon leaned over and whispered to me, “I wonder what this is all about.”

  “I have a feeling I know.”

Sure enough, he walked up to me with a backstage pass. “Hey, man, Kya Campbell said to give you this. She’d like to see you backstage after her show.”

“Thank you.” I glanced up to see Kya wave in the middle of her performance.

“I’ll come and take you back.” He turned and walked away, weaving through the crowd.

Breanna leaned closer. “You know Kya Campbell?”

“I grew up next door to her.”

Jon patted me on the shoulder. “Wow, man. You going to go back?”

I felt a little strange not having a pass for him too. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to.”

Breanna pulled Mindy to the side, and I could tell by her hard glances, she wasn’t happy.

“I thought I’d take Mindy home. You could see if Breanna wanted to hang with you. She’s willing, and you know she’s not the kind to be clingy later.”

I’d been with Breanna before, and while she’d been good about us not forming a relationship over our hookup, she did seem a little put-off and entitled about the chance meeting. I had come to the concert alone, and now she seemed like I was obligated to leave with her.

“Maybe you could take them both home. I’m sure Breanna wouldn’t care, and unless you’re planning on making more than a one-nighter of Mindy, then what’s the harm?”

“You planning on staying with Kya Campbell?”

“No, but I do want to catch up a bit, let her know what’s changed, catch her up to speed.” She needed a full course on the new me.

“Dude, I’m under enough pressure with the bar coming up.” Jon smoothed out his shirt as Mindy came over and took his arm.

“You’re more than capable of handling both.” I turned to see that Breanna was standing next to me with a frown, and if any good thing had come from the invitation, it was that she had given up on me for the night.

By the time Kya’s band left the stage, Jon had his arm around both women and was geared up to have what could turn into a better night than me.

I figured I’d go backstage and say hello, and we’d take a minute to catch up, and I’d have enough time to show her I wasn’t that nerdy little boy she could manipulate anymore and that my heart had recovered quite well. She wanted us to remain friends. I’d keep it friendly.

A few minutes later, the guard came over. I shook Jon’s hand and made a promise to call him later, assuring him it was okay to go and that I’d find my own ride home.

As I walked through the maze of halls that made up the backstage, I followed the bouncer who seemed like a nice enough guy and wondered how many had gone back to see her over the years.

“I suppose Kya sees a lot of men after the shows, so I’m probably not the first you’ve brought back, right?”

“Kya never sees anyone. She’s a good girl, so you’ll make sure to mind your manners or I’ll rearrange your face for you.” The guy opened a door, and they walked to the back lot where Kya’s tour bus sat. The guard walked over and knocked.

  “It’s open.”

“Thanks, man. And you don’t have to worry about me. I’m an old friend.” He turned and gave me a hard look that said he was still not impressed.

I stepped into the bus, and Kya was standing there to greet me. “Leonard!” She pulled me in for a hug and then stepped back to look me up and down. “You look great!”

“I just go by Leo now. You don’t look so bad yourself.”

She wiped her forehead with a pink towel. “I’m a bit grimy from the stage. It’s always so hot out there under the lights.”

“Yeah, well, you were amazing. You really have come a long way since the garage days.” I always wondered how she’d turn out, and it seemed like she was doing well for herself.

“I’ve missed you. I tried to get in touch after graduation, but your mother didn’t want to give me your number.”

“Yeah? I didn’t know. I left for my new life as soon as I could. It wasn’t like I had any reason to stick around.” I wanted to be bitter, but she looked so amazing, her smile still as beautiful as always, as sincere, that I had a hard time not falling under her spell.

“Right. Look, I’ve wanted to apologize for that night a thousand times.”

“Please, Kya, that’s in the past.” I didn’t need her apologies, especially for sleeping with me. That would only be another kick in the balls. I’d learned to get over it and move past it, and now so could she. She certainly hadn’t had any trouble avoiding me that last week of school, but then I was sure it was easy with most of the class whispering about what had happened. The more space between us, the better.

“What have you been up to? You look like you spend a lot of time in the gym.”

“That and law school. I graduated today.”

“Wow, that’s amazing. I guess we’re all grown up now. You know, I haven’t had a friend as close as you since we were kids. Not even in high school. You really knew me, you know.”

“Yeah.” I thought of how well I had known her, how I’d crushed on her all those years, only for her to forget about me in high school. Then just when I thought I had her back, she went and turned me down.

“I know it’s silly, but I wish things had been different, with what happened, you know. I was stupid and scared.”

“Nothing to be afraid of now.” She looked so vulnerable, and I wished I’d had the chance for a redo too.

I closed the distance between us and brought my arms around her. She stepped closer in my embrace, looking into my eyes as if searching for the boy she’d once known.

I didn’t waste another minute and brought my lips down on hers as she relaxed in my arms as
if giving in to the moment. The kiss had my blood pumping, and I moved my hand down to grip her ass and grind against her. I wanted her to know what she’d been missing all these years and how hard I still and always would be for her.

“Are you alone?” I knew her band had to be around there somewhere or at least on their way.

“Everyone else is inside celebrating with the headlining band. I told them I was meeting up with an old friend, so they don’t expect me for a while.” She ran her hand up my arm and rested it on my shoulder as the other dropped lower to my hip.

“Good.” As if a gun went off to start the race, the two of us collided once more, this time in a frenzy of passion.

  Chapter 4

  Kya

I hadn’t been worked up as much in ages, and even though I’d been in a few go-nowhere relationships, I hadn’t found anyone as special as Leonard had always been to me.

As we came together with so much passion, I couldn’t help but wonder if I had a second chance to make things right between us. I’d regretted my decision not to let him be for me what he had offered and had wasted so much time in my life without him.

But he was here with me again, and this time, I wasn’t going to waste a single moment. He had grown up so much, growing a dark beard that matched his brown eyes which smoldered when he looked at me.

I pulled back and took his hand, turning to lead him to the bedroom where I slept on the road. It was a smaller double bed but plenty big for the two of us as we groped and pawed at one another like two horny teens. But we didn’t climb right in as I’d expected.

As we stood at the foot of the bed, he took my hand and pressed it against his thick erection, his cock just as long and thick as I’d remembered. I stroked it through his pants as he kissed me, and then I brought my other hand from his ass to undo his jeans. His cock fell heavy in my hands, and I wrapped my fingers around it, feeling his flesh growing hotter by the second.

A lick of heat went through my body, sending an aching feeling of need straight to my core. I had a hunger for him that drew me in, and I reached up and stripped off my top and made quick work of my bra, tossing it to the floor.

He brought his mouth down to my breasts, his large hands cupping them as he squeezed and kneaded them with his fingertips.

“I can’t wait to be inside of you.” He reached around and cupped my bottom, lifting me up against him and then turning me to the built-in dresser where he propped me up and nudged his way between my thighs, the head of his cock rubbing against my slit.

He reached down and drew his head in-between my folds, rubbing it up and down, sending chills through me every time it passed over my clit. I ground against him, and soon enough, he found my center and pushed his cock into me. He was only halfway inside of me, and I was already stretched to my limits, but he rutted deep and then thrust his hips hard, burying himself to his balls.

His confidence showed much more than it did when he was younger, and I noticed it most in his performance. He met my eyes and took charge once again, turning us around where he lowered us to the bed. Then he hitched up my legs, and I rested them on his shoulders.

He turned his head and kissed my ankle but never took his eyes off of mine. “I’ve wanted this. After what happened between us back at Seth O’Haver’s house, how you climbed on me and fucked my brains out. I’ve wanted to return the favor.”

Knowing he’d thought of me made me smile. “It’s even hotter this time around, don’t you think?”

He gave me a devilish grin. “Oh yeah, much sweeter, that’s for sure.” He brought his mouth to mine, and our tongues mingled, moving in and out, stroking one another as our bodies moved in a slow and sensual rhythm.

My first release had my toes curling as I moaned loudly, and the bus was shaking from our movements, no doubt making anyone outside wonder who was getting laid inside.

“How about you ride me as you did before?”

I didn’t have a chance to respond or say a word before he rolled us over, and I fell astride, my tight channel still milking his cock from my orgasm. He filled me deeper as I settled on his base, and then I leaned back, angling him toward my G-spot, stroking it with his cock until I came again.

He moaned, and it sent a warm feeling over me to hear it. He whispered against my flesh, his breath warm against me. “You’re getting greedy with those. You’re a bad girl, aren’t you?”

I played along, but only because I knew the truth. I wasn’t one for random hookups, and I never slept with members of other bands. In fact, I had a pretty strict set of rules, most of which I didn’t mind breaking to be with him. Leonard had always been special. “Yes, I’m especially bad with you.”

He chuckled and then nipped at my tight nipples, his teeth closing on them, sending a delightful pinch of pleasure straight to my core that only turned me on even more. I gave a little moan. “They’re so sensitive.”

“Feels good, doesn’t it?” He grazed his teeth along my breast, and I couldn’t stop thinking how hot he was, his glasses and braces gone, leaving nothing but a tall, strong, handsome man.

My entire body was alive as a wave of pleasure coursed through every inch of me. “Yes, it does.”

“Spin around,” he whispered, urging me with his hands to do so.

I did as he told me because it was obvious he knew what he was doing and because I’d known him longer than anyone else in my life. I trusted him completely, especially with my pleasure. Neither one of us could ever deliberately hurt the other. We weren’t wired that way.

I rode him reverse cowgirl for a minute, but then he sat up, shifting around behind me where he slapped my bottom and gripped my stinging ass, angling me upward as he thrust hard and fast.

Another orgasm had me screaming so loudly with pleasure that I put my face down on the bed to muffle it. He continued relentlessly until finally, he took one last thrust, hard and deep, and I felt a splash of his release soaking my insides as he pulled free, shooting what was left on my ass and back.

“Damn, that was so hot, I nearly forgot to pull.” He found the pink towel I had used earlier and wiped up his mess.

“It’s okay. I’m on the pill, and despite your average rocker’s reputation, I don’t sleep around.” I didn’t want him to think I was anything like Mona, who I still had to fire. She’d shown up to go onstage, but she had me worried up until the very last moment.

“Good to know we’ve both changed since high school.” He rolled over and lay on the bed a minute to catch his breath. There was an image of us reflecting in the tacky mirrored ceiling. The band before us had it installed, and I’d inherited it.

We made a handsome picture, the two of us.

I reached over and brushed his hair away from his face. “Those rumors about me weren’t exactly true, you know.” I had the reputation of being a lot easier than I was, and aside from Leonard, I’d only slept with one guy and given a blow job to another. It wasn’t half as bad as some of the other girls, especially considering I’d had as many chances.

“It hardly matters anymore, does it? But I will say, you’re really amazing.” He laughed, shaking his head as if he had something more on his mind.

I was content to lay there with him for a while and snuggled closer, hoping I might even be able to convince him to stay. It would be nice to wake up in his arms and have someone who wasn’t going to wake up in the morning and forget all about me.

“This is nice, isn’t it? It’s like old times when we were kids, just lying here together.”

“Yeah, we had some good times.”

“You know, I finish up this tour in a few weeks, and I’m planning on heading back to Chicago when I’m done. It would be nice to get together, and maybe we could reconnect. You know, maybe give something a chance to happen for us?”

He smiled but gave me an overly sympathetic look. “Come on, Kya. We both know that would be a mistake, right? I mean, you said so yourself five years ago. I think we should just keep things friendly.
I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship by trying to date.”

My face fell, and while I rolled over to find my robe, he got up and found his pants.

“I just thought things could be different, is all. I mean, we’re both different.”

“Are we, though? I mean, at my core, I’d still say I’m the same guy I was five years ago.” With that, he walked out of the room and down the hall. I got up and went after him, hoping he’d talk to me instead of leaving upset again like he had before.

“Hey, wait up. Can I at least get your number so we can stay in touch? I mean, it’s what we do, right?” I felt like a desperate fool running out after him that way, but I really wanted to stay friends.

He turned and looked down at me and then leaned over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “See you around, Kya. Congratulations on getting everything you wanted. It looks good on you.” The door slammed behind him, and I stood there stunned, unable to process everything that had just happened. He’d run out on me again.

  Chapter 5

  Leo

The steady rhythm of Jon’s headboard banged against my walls as I rolled over and tried to adjust my eyes. Without my contacts, I couldn’t see a thing, but from the sounds, Jon was still entertaining from the concert.

When I’d gotten home, his music was on, and an unfamiliar car was in my spot out front. I’d showered and went to bed without bothering to let him know I’d made it home.

Not wanting to disturb the party, I dressed for the day and then went to the kitchen for something to eat. I made sure we still had milk before pouring myself a big bowl of cereal and was surprised we did. It seemed like when I didn’t check, that’s when we didn’t have any. Must be my lucky day.

I had just finished my last bite when I heard the door open across the room and looked up to find Breanna and Mindy walking out in front of Jon who picked up the rear. “Hey, Leo, when you did you get home?”
