“What if I was?” My blood was pumping so hard that my heart was about to beat out of my chest.
“I wouldn’t mind. In fact, I’d think it was hot if I’m honest.” She batted her lashes a few times, and licked her lips. Her breath was so deep that her chest heaved, her full breasts rising and falling beneath her low-cut pajama shirt.
“I value honesty. And yes, I was thinking about you. How I wanted to kiss you, and more. I didn’t because I knew if I had at that moment, I wouldn’t have wanted to stop. I wouldn’t have wanted you to slip off quietly to your room afterwards. I’d have wanted to lay you back and bury my head between your thighs and kiss you there until you screamed my name.” I slipped my hand around her waist. “And what would you think if I kissed you now; knowing what I’ve been up to.” I pulled her close; her lips were even closer now than before.
Her eyes stared directly into mine. “Why don’t you? You’re a man who gets what he wants, right? And I’m right here.” She looked down to the space between us, which wasn’t much.
Everything in me knew I probably shouldn’t, but my inner voice was screaming for me to not miss out on another opportunity. I closed the distance and brought my lips to hers softly.
She melted against me and deepened the kiss. I brought my hands up and cupped her breasts, and as she pulled away, I lowered my mouth to them and then kissed up her neck across her jaw to whisper in her ear.
“Just like before, I don’t want to stop.”
Her sultry smile had my cock weeping. “I told you, I’m right here. Take what you want.”
I hated that I couldn’t stand solid on my own two feet, but I was ready to get her horizontal anyway. “Let’s go back to my bed.” Her hand slipped down and found mine as she led the way.
Once we were in the room, I found the hem of her shirt and tugged it up over her head to reveal her bare, perky breasts and tight nipples. She undid the tie on my robe and fell into my kiss as she slipped it off my shoulders. Then she helped me to bed and climbed in next to me.
“I think I might like this. You’re practically a prisoner.” She leaned up and kissed me, this time her tongue exploring deeper. “Should I be gentle?” She teased, but I liked it.
“Don’t underestimate me, Sadie. I might surprise you.” I rolled over to my good side and slipped my hand down to her soft pajama pants and tugged them down. She helped a bit, and then I did the same with her panties. “Take them off.”
She slipped her legs free of their confinement and spread them for me as I rubbed her smooth mound. It was always a nice surprise to see what a woman had done to keep herself groomed, and I had to say that bare was my absolute favorite. No fuss, no muss. I parted her folds and worked her clit, as I brought my mouth down on hers. She moaned into me, and I rose up only to move down between her legs. I had to be a bit careful how I laid on my knee, but I was so worked up, I didn’t feel a thing other than my throbbing cock and the touch of her skin.
Chapter 8
Sadie
I couldn’t believe what had been one of the most embarrassing moments of my life had turned into one of the hottest moments. He nestled himself between my legs, licking and kissing, as his fingers penetrated me.
I had practically dared him to do it, and I wouldn’t allow myself to think about what would happen after. Would it be awkward? Would he fire me, hiring another assistant to bed? Maybe this was his thing; maybe I wasn’t the first? I knew it was just my paranoia and as his tongue flicked my clit, as he hit my g-spot with just the right amount of pressure, I was pulled away from those thoughts and consumed with nothing but unbridled pleasure. I rested my hand on his head and ground my hips upward, not wanting him to stop. “Right there,” I moaned.
“That’s the spot, isn’t it?” He whispered to me, his hot breath warm against my mound.
“Yes, please don’t stop.” I urged him to continue by rolling my hips again, and he chuckled softly as he returned his mouth to work me over. A moment later, my first orgasm rolled through me like a wave, and my thighs quivered around him.
“I want to taste you.” I wasn’t sure he’d heard the request because he kept working me until I’d come a second time.
“I wanted you to have another first, but don’t worry, Sadie, there’s much more to come.” He eased himself up, and I sat up and got on my knees, prowling like a cat as he lay back against the pillows. I rested beside him, so I wouldn’t disturb his knee and took him into my hands. It was just like I’d dreamed it would be, but he was much bigger than I’d imagined. For some reason, my mind had filled in the unknown with the only cock I had gotten so familiar with, Bryan’s, but Darek’s was much thicker and at least two inches longer.
I remembered how my previous experiences had filled me up, and even torn me, so I was a little nervous about his cock and if I could take it. But for now, I’d work on getting it down my throat,
He watched me intensely, and my eyes left his as I lowered myself, taking him into my mouth, his thick bulbous head resting on my tongue as I licked.
He hissed in a breath and bucked his hips upward. “Fuck yeah. I’ve wanted this since you walked in my door, Sadie. I just wasn’t sure you’d want it too.”
I lifted my head as my hand stroked his shaft. “I felt the same.” I went back down on him, and he moaned out as he had in the shower as I relaxed my throat and took him deeper.
Soon enough we had a steady rhythm, and as I went down, he’d grind himself upward. I let my tongue work the tip of his cock and moaned as a taste of his salt splashed against my tongue. He was delicious and heady, and my mouth watered causing me to need to swallow. I pulled away, not meaning to stop, but his hands landed on my hips, and he pulled me closer, pinching my nipples.
“Straddle my face, Sadie. You know how I like to be busy.” He urged my hips forward, and though I was a little hesitant to do as he’d asked, mostly because I’d never done it before, I went with it. What the hell. He was the one pawing himself in the bathroom; modesty was out the window. I straddled his broad chest, and he gripped my ass, pulling me down to meet his tongue.
I cried out as he slipped his fingers inside me and worked my aching clit with precise movements and it urged me to match his pace, so I bobbed my head up and down on his cock until I felt my release on the edge.
I sat up and rolled my hips, as he pulled me closer, greedily sucking my juicy channel. “Fuck, yeah.” My voice was merely a breath, and I tried to lay back across him and take him into my mouth again, but he held me in place, working me through another orgasm so fast, it surprised me. My legs were quivering and weak when he was done, and I fell into a rhythm as if we hadn’t missed a beat.
Soon enough his cock swelled in my mouth. “I’m going to come, Sadie. Fair warning.” I moaned out and continued, hoping for another taste, which came seconds later, blasting my tongue and tonsils. I gulped it down, pulling against his cock which gagged me a little, but I pulled away and took a deep breath.
“That was so hot, Sadie. You know I’m not done with you, right? Not until you’re screaming my name.” He gave me a smile I sat up and turned around to face him.
“Who said I was done with you?” I kissed his mouth, tasting my nectar on his lips.
“Being at your mercy is the sexiest thing ever.” The blush rose to my cheeks, and I lay beside him, snuggling close to hold him.
We hadn’t done more than oral, but he’d given me more pleasure than anyone ever had. I’d never had that many orgasms and wasn’t sure I was capable.
We lay there kissing and cuddling and soon, my phone rang in the other room. “Go see who that is. We should really get up in case someone comes by, even though I will say, that I want another round later tonight if you want.”
“I’ll be here.” I ran to the other room and grabbed my phone and something to wrap up in. I didn’t want to be running around his house naked.
I grabbed the phone and saw it was my friend, Kari Foster, who been my bestie since high school. “H
ey, girl! Long time; no speak.”
“I came by today, but your mom said you moved in with your boss? Do tell.” I knew that I couldn’t tell her the juicy details of the past hour, and really shouldn’t tell her who I was working for, but I couldn’t hold it all in.
“Yeah, I got a new job. It’s kind of in the home health field, but not really. I was hired as a personal assistant while a patient recovers from surgery. So, I live here and work round the clock.”
“I hope it pays well, and tell me it’s not some dirty old man.” She let loose a laugh that stung my ear.
“You know him, actually.” I kept my voice low so Darek wouldn’t hear. It wasn’t in my contract or terms of employment to keep my job or my employer a secret, but I didn’t want him to think I was throwing his name around. Kari had been my biggest confidant for years, and if I didn’t tell someone the good news, besides my mother, I’d burst.
“Yeah? Is he someone from school?” I knew she wouldn’t guess in a million years.
“No, he’s kind of a celebrity.”
“Kind of? You either are, or you’re not a celebrity, but you’re either A-list or not, there’s no B, C, or D.” She cracked her gum, and I cringed. I’d always hated when she did that.
“He’s not A-list.”
“Are you going to tell me?” She was getting annoyed, and I went into the bathroom and closed the door.
“Yes. Sheesh! Give me a minute.” I turned the water on and kept my voice low. “It’s Darek Dillon. You know, the motivational speaker.”
“No fucking way, Sadie! I bought tickets to his seminar in Vegas next week. I’m traveling down with Grady and Bryce.”
“That’s impossible. He’s not working right now. It’s doctor’s orders. He’s been canceling spots all over the states.” I suddenly thought about that shit head of a manager. Surely, he wasn’t so coked out of his head that he’d forgotten to cancel all of the shows. Or was he trying to pocket the profits and make Darek a no-show? Surely, if he’d done that, Darek would know about it already.
“No, it’s still on. We just got the tickets two days ago. Could you ask him?”
“I’ll get to the bottom of it, believe me, and if it’s canceled, I’ll let you know. You said it was a week away?” At least he’d be getting around on his own by then, but there was no way he should be standing around for hours.
“That’s so exciting. I can’t believe you’re living with him. Is he as hot in person?”
“Hotter, but you know, it’s strictly professional. And I’m not really telling many people.”
“Mums the word, I get it. But you let me know. I have non-refundable plane tickets. Grady and Bryce will be so upset if you’re right.”
“Yeah, they aren’t the only ones.” I finished my call and knew I’d have to get to the bottom of this. Hopefully, his stupid manager hadn’t just fucked everything up. The last thing he needed was a bad reputation as a no-show. And if he was trying to appease the manager himself, by giving in to do shows against the doctor’s orders, he’d only think I was tough about the walker.
Chapter 9
Darek
Sadie hadn’t come to my bed the night before, and though she said things were all right, I couldn’t help but feel something had happened. She’d never said who’d called, but it might have had something to do with her sudden preoccupation. Perhaps it was her mother, and guilt had crept in, but then again, it might have been her ex or another man. She could have been interested in someone else for all I knew.
I sat in my office looking over some of my dates which were months away. I’d have no problems making them, but I wanted to see if there was any room I might be able to double up, to make up for the locations I’d missed during my recovery time.
I was nearly done, with a splitting headache ruining my mood when I looked up and saw Sadie in the doorway. She had dressed in pink scrubs and had her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail, and even though I was used to the high maintenance women down at Club Expose, she turned me on more than any one of them on their best day.
“Is it time for my medicine?” She’d been dosing me like clockwork, and I only had a couple more days to go. With my follow-up in a couple of days, I’m sure the doctor would take me off of them. No one liked to prescribe pain pills long enough anymore, at least not to those who really needed them, it seemed.
“No. I just thought I’d see what you were up to?” She walked in and sat across from me, her eyes fixed on the calendar on my desk.
“Is something on your mind?” There was something strange in her mannerisms as if something was on the tip of her tongue and if she opened her mouth, it would jump right off.
Finally, after a moment of quiet awkwardness, I went back to work. That’s when she leaned in and rested against my desk. “How many shows do you have coming up?”
“None anytime soon. I’ve canceled for two months total. Why, do you want tickets?” I gave her the side eye, and she looked away.
“Are you sure you don’t have anything left on the books? You can tell me if you’re trying to appease that asshole manager of yours. I won’t like it, but—
My mind blanked out a moment while I tried to process what she’d said. “What are you talking about? I’m not appeasing anyone but my doctor at this point and losing money by the week at that.” Something wasn’t right. Her wide-eyed accusing stare, had me shaken.
“Shit. You really don’t know, do you? I don’t think you’re going to like what I have to tell you.” She seemed almost afraid to say what was on her mind.
“Stop fucking with me and spill it, Sadie.”
“Fine. You’re tickets for the Vegas seminar, they’re still being sold. That call last night was my best friend, who told me she has tickets to your next appearance. Worse than that, she just bought them two days earlier.”
“Fuck. Are you kidding me? I don’t know how he could have let that slip through the cracks. Las Vegas is one of my biggest shows during the year. It’s the one show I hated to miss, but after my complications in surgery, I had no choice. I almost lost my fucking leg.”
“It’s six days away. What are you going to do?”
“Fuck, I have to give that venue notice. They won’t like this and the likelihood they’ll reschedule; that’s not going to happen. Let me make sure the cancellation wasn’t just delayed. Sometimes the venue gets these things and doesn't act fast enough. Maybe your friend didn’t get her notification yet.” I picked up my phone and dialed Jack. There was no answer, so I decided to try and buy a ticket to my show and see what happened.
“This is insane,” said Sadie, as I hit the ‘buy now’ button. “I can’t believe you have a manager who doesn’t even answer his phone.
“In all fairness, we’re not exactly busy right now.”
“In fairness? Are you serious? The guy is out somewhere getting cracked out of his mind while your fans are buying tickets and making plans for Vegas. My friend said her boyfriend bought non-refundable tickets to fly down. This affects more than your show and your pocketbook. Even if you refund, you’re still going to piss people off.”
She had a good point, and I hadn’t considered the other side of it. I tried to dial Jack again, and this time it went to voicemail. I was halfway through leaving a message and planning a follow-up text when he beeped in.
“It’s Jack. I saw where you called, but I was busy making a few calls.”
“Was one of them to the Vegas venue, by any chance?”
“Vegas? Mm…no.” His voice cracked as he hesitated. “Was I supposed to call Vegas?”
“Please tell me you canceled the fucking Vegas show.”
The silence stretched out on the other end. “It’s Vegas, man. It’s one of our biggest shows. You expect me to lose that kind of money? Besides, it’s a week out; you’ll be better by then, right? Your surgery was almost a month ago.”
“The initial surgery, yes. But the one after the infection spread, that was just two weeks ago. Why th
e fuck did you think we are canceling all these other shows? Are you fucking mental? I need you to stop sticking shit in your fucking nose and work for me. I can’t be in Vegas.”
“You have no choice, my friend. It’s too late to cancel.” His tone was smug, and it made me wonder if he even cared about my well-being at all.
“It’s not too late. You know I can’t walk.”
“So, sit. You’ll explain your problem, and they’ll still eat up all that bullshit you’re spoon-feeding them, for fuck’s sake. Some of us have bills to pay, you know?”
“You’re still getting a salary.”
“I’m getting peanuts to what I usually get, and you know it.”
“Manage your fucking money and stop buying coke and you’ll be fine. No one else on my staff is complaining. Cancel. The. Show.”
“Fine, I’ll call you back.” The phone went dead, and I slammed it down on my desk hard enough to make Sadie jump.
“Is he going to cancel it?”
“He said he’d call me back. I swear that guy’s going to be the death of me.”
“I don’t see why you don’t get rid of him. He’s toxic. Don’t you preach about getting rid of toxic people in your life.” I hated when someone tried to use my own advice against me, especially when they didn’t know the whole reason why I didn’t follow it.
“Jack and I have been friends for a while. He’s one of the best managers, and when he’s on his game, he’s unstoppable. My break is making him testy, but he’s usually a good guy, and he doesn’t miss a beat.”
“A good guy with an increasing drug problem, from the sound of it. How long before that really fucks you up? If it already hasn’t.” She folded her arms and shook her head. “I’m really shocked you’re not more upset.”
“What I am, is trying to figure out what I’m going to do. If he can’t cancel, and I have to run to Vegas, then I need to be ready. I have to figure out how I’m going to motivate people from a sitting position and without my usual impactful routine. The whole show is like a dance; it’s choreographed. Every fist in my palm, every lean in, it’s all part of the routine.” I let loose a breath that didn’t cleanse near as much as I’d have liked. “I’ve got more to do than to sit around fucking worrying about it.”
