After a while, Arianna stirred. She leaned up on Tom’s chest, watching him.
“What?” Her expression captivated him, but he wasn’t sure what it meant.
She kissed him softly. “Thank you. For showing me.”
He brushed her lips with his fingers. “You’re welcome. Do you still have butterflies in your stomach?”
She laughed. “No, but next time I get them I will know why and come find you.”
“You had better.” His blue eyes pierced her green ones. He wanted to be the only one she came to for butterflies in her stomach.
“Hungry? It’s almost ten.” She slid off him.
“A little.” He rarely ate on the bus, usually lazed around until he got to the venue, but he didn’t want her not eating.
She moved to the side of the bed. “I'll make breakfast.”
“You got it.” He watched her, her hair hanging in auburn waves down her back. He leaned forward placing a kiss on her shoulder.
She pulled on her panties and nightie then walked out to the kitchen.
He pulled on his shorts and followed her.

He watched her flip another pancake on the little griddle and drank his coffee. She was quite efficient in the kitchen. She placed a plate in front of him which overflowed with pancakes, grabbing the syrup and butter she put them on the table, too.
“So, what’s on the agenda for today?” She sat across from him, pouring some syrup on her pancakes.
“When we get to the venue, I'll introduce you to everyone. We'll have little over an hour before I have to do sound check.” He cut his pancakes taking a bite.
“Then, what happens?” She sipped her coffee from a large blue mug.
“After sound check, we have meet and greets for pictures.” He smiled at the way her hands held the large mug, which was bigger than both of them.
“So, what do I do while you’re doing that?” She set her mug down taking a bite of the pancakes then wiped off the syrup on her chin with a napkin.
“You can hang out with the girls. Lily, Amy and Melissa should all be here. They usually wait around in catering until after sound check,” he said.
“They’re your band member’s girlfriends?” she asked.
He picked up his mug swallowing some coffee. “Wives. Remember I said all the guys were married.”
She nodded. “Then what?”
“We hang out until show time.” He laid his silverware on his plate.
“And after the show?” She picked up his plate, placing it on hers.
“We hang out for a little bit until it’s time for the buses to head out.” He was making it sound so easy, but he didn’t want her to worry about anything on her first day. Her first show. Tom picked up the plates and put them in the sink.
She washed their breakfast dishes, drying and putting them away. He stood behind her the whole time, watching.
She glanced at him over her shoulder. She saw the darkening of his eyes. They glowed. Her breath caught, her nerves exploded and fire scorched her skin. She recognized the look.
His hands wrapped around her waist as his lips played on her neck. Her scent engulfed him and his nostrils flared.
“Do you have butterflies?” He stroked her stomach.
“Yes.” Her giggle smothered by his mouth covering hers in a no holds barred kiss.
She turned in his arms wrapping her arms around his neck.
“You up to one more time before we get there?” he asked.
“Yes.” She brushed her lips against his.
He picked her up and turned, sitting her on the table.
Her face exploded in red heat. Here on the table. What if the driver heard them? Saw them. She stiffened. Unsure she looked into Tom’s eyes. “Tom, can the driver….”
His lips brushed over the blush on her cheeks. “No one can hear or see anything, I promise.”
Her body eased as he reached down and grabbed her legs. She placed her feet flat on the table and he pushed her open legs, stepping between them. His mouth moved to play with the pulse, hammering in her throat. He slid her nightie up, exposing her breasts to his mouth.
She felt her nightie tangle around her torso, but didn’t care. All she cared about was his hands and mouth on her body.
His hands cruised over her waist and into her panties, pulling them down her legs. They caught on her knees and he ripped them off. She gasped.
He growled, sliding his fingers over her pussy and she no longer cared about her ripped panties.
She stroked his shoulders and caressed his chest. He pulled his hand away and dropped to his knees. He placed a soft kiss on her thigh before flicking her pussy with his tongue.
She gripped his hair as he licked then sucked her clit. The butterflies exploded from her stomach to float along her nerves.
He slid his hands up her body. He cupped and teased her breasts. He played with her nipples and pussy until he had her twisting and sobbing with pleasure then he stood between her legs.
Her eyes flew open. She watched him drop his shorts and place the tip of his cock at her entrance. She cupped his shoulders as he leaned over her. His mouth crushed hers at the same moment he thrust inside her pussy.
“Wrap your legs around my waist,” he groaned.
When she complied, he grabbed her waist and pulled her tightly to him. He stood with her arms and legs wrapped around him.
She licked her lips, burying her face against his neck. He rode her. Each stroke harder than the last.
One hand cupped her butt, the other tangling in her hair, pulling her head back. His mouth covered hers and his tongue plunged inside, moving in tune with his cock in her pussy.
Her nails dug into his back. She sobbed into his mouth as she exploded.
He returned her sob with a groan. He throbbed inside of her and shot his streams deep.
They stood in the kitchen for a moment, each gasping for breath. Then he kicked his shorts off his feet, walked into the bedroom with her still wrapped around him, and sat on the bed.
She slid her legs from around his waist and rested them alongside his hips. A smile played on her lips and she leaned up placing a soft kiss on his lips.
He stroked her lips and together they dozed naked on the bed.
Chapter 7
He opened his eyes to Arianna curled up against his side. 11:30 a.m. Time to get up. They should be to the venue around 1 p.m.
“Hey, Butterfly.” He stroked her cheek.
She rubbed her cheek against his hand.
He laughed. “We need to get up and get dressed. We should be there soon.”
She stretched against him opening sleepy eyes.
“Morning, Butterfly.” He stroked her lips smiling.
She immediately noticed he called her a different name. A pet name. She liked it.
“We need to take a shower,” he said.
She sat up and stretched her arms above her head.
He sat, reached over and tweaked her nose. He stood and walked over to the closet, taking out a few towels. He waited for her and together they walked into the shower.
They washed quickly, finishing as the water started to lose its heat.
He dressed in his standard jeans and polo style shirt. He towel dried his hair and ran a brush through it smiling over at Arianna who was still in a towel. “What’s wrong?”
“Wondering what to wear.” She looked at her clothes. She didn’t want to look like a beggar when she went out with him.
“It should be hot. Shorts. Whatever you want,” he said.
She decided on a pair of jean shorts and one of her fancy tank tops. She dressed then dried and braided her hair.
He walked toward the living area while she made the bed and cleaned up the bedroom. She walked into the kitchen and her cheeks tingled. Her ripped panties and his shorts lay on the floor.
He laughed. She smiled shyly, picking up her panties and throwing them in the garbage, then took
his shorts into the bedroom, putting them in the hamper. She walked out and sat next to him as they entered the venue.

Her nervousness over meeting all of Tom’s friends escalated. She worried she might embarrass him. She chewed her lower lip and fisted her fingers on her thighs.
He laughed, cupping her fingers in his. “Relax. My friends will love you.” She glanced at him. “Trust me, Butterfly.” He stroked her lips with his finger, drawing her bottom lip out from between her teeth. He pulled her to her feet and opened the door.
They walked down the steps and Arianna stopped, glancing around, taking in everything she could see. There were six buses.
“Six?” She pointed to all the buses.
“The opening band has two,” he said.
“You have four?” she asked.
“We each have our own,” he said.
“How come?” She walked side by side with him.
“The guys’ wives travel with them,” he explained pulling her closer.
A large tent stood to the right filled with tables and chairs, and a buffet.
“What’s that?” she asked.
“Catering for the crew.” He turned her to the right.
“Is that where you eat?” she said.
“No, we eat in the dining area by the dressing rooms behind the tent.” He led her around the tent.
“There are rooms over there. I thought this was an outside venue.” She kept looking around trying to figure everything out.
He laughed. “We each get our own dressing room inside the building and there should be a place to eat as well.”
She took a step closer to his side a little overwhelmed by all the people milling about. “Who’re all these people?”
He followed her gaze. “The crew. There are a lot of people needed to put on a show.”
“I never realized before how many people were involved.” Her eyes whipped around.
“Quite a lot.” He squeezed her fingers as they walked past some people coming out of the tent.
The men stopped to look at Arianna. Tom’s teeth gritted and his shoulders stiffened. Part of him was extremely proud she would draw attention, but the other part didn’t like anyone looking at her.
Arianna didn’t notice the men looking at her or his reaction to it. Tom let out his breath. He didn’t want to make her any more nervous than she already was. He was holding her hand so he assumed everyone would realize she was with him and therefore off limits.
“Where are we going?” she asked.
“To the dining area, Clay should be back from the interview,” he said.
She walked with Tom into the dining area filled with people. She recognized Clay, the guitarist, his black hair stood out. Two of the others were the bass player, Scott, sandy blond hair with dark eyes and the drummer, Kevin, who was a little husky with brown hair. A bunch of other men walked around and a few women, too.
Everyone looked at them. She brushed her fingers over her cheek embarrassed by the attention. Tom squeezed her hand again as they approached Clay.
A woman stood with Clay. Arianna thought she must be his wife, Lily, if she remembered correctly. She was a very attractive brunette with kind eyes and Arianna found herself smiling at her. Tom said Clay was his best friend.
“Hey, Clay.” Tom smiled as they stopped in front of him.
“Tom, you made it.” Clay grinned.
“Of course I made it. Arianna this is Clay and his wife, Lily,” Tom said, confirming Arianna’s thoughts.
Arianna held out her hand and shook theirs. “Nice to meet you both.”
“You as well,” Lily and Clay said.
“I began to wonder if you were going to make it on time.” Clay’s eyes moved over Tom, noticing his relaxed smile.
Tom shrugged. “How did the interview go?”
“No problems,” Clay said.
“Thanks again,” Tom said.
“Anytime,” Clay said.
Lily smiled. “Arianna, why don’t you come with me and I'll introduce you to the girls while the boy’s talk show.”
Arianna glanced at Tom. He nodded.
She smiled at Lily. “Sure.”
****
Arianna was having a great time. Melissa, Scott’s wife, was tall with jet-black hair, and Amy, Kevin’s wife, was a petite brunette. They both had joined her and Lily. They seemed to accept her and they had spent the last two hours talking about inane stuff as the guys did sound checks.
Tom walked toward her and smiled. A thrill ran up her spine.
“Ready to eat?” He stopped behind her chair his hands coming to rest on her shoulders.
She nodded and stood, walking with Tom as the others followed.
“Everything okay?” he asked.
“The girls are so sweet,” she said.
“Yes, they are,” he said.
They walked up to the tables laden with food. Tom handed her a plate and together they walked down the buffet line.
Arianna chose some roast beef, potatoes and corn while Tom went with roast beef, turkey, and potatoes. Arianna grabbed a soda and a bun while Tom took a beer. They walked back to the table sitting down.
The others came over with their plates and the conversation carried on, filled with laughter, mock fighting and some well-placed barbs.
“We have to go get ready.” Clay stood and kissed his wife then headed toward the dressing rooms.
“Will you be okay here?” Tom’s lips brushed her ear.
Her breath caught at how Tom always thought about her. “If I have any problems I remember how to get on the bus.”
Tom laughed and kissed her before heading off to get ready.
The girls kept chatting. They never once asked her personal questions about Tom. There was no prying, only friendship offered.
They laughed, joked and told Arianna some stories that had her laughing hard.
“Lily, love, you going side stage tonight?” Clay walked into the room.
Lily stood, turning to Arianna. “We go side stage during the shows.”
Arianna stood. Melissa and Amy, too.
Tom came up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her against him. “Side stage is where I want you to be, Butterfly, only family and friends can go there.”
Arianna smiled over her shoulder at him. His breath sent shivers up her neck.
“Lily? Will you show Arianna the ropes during the show?” Tom asked.
“Of course. The girls and I will make sure Arianna learns the tour ropes.” Lily smiled. Her husband buried his face in her neck, hiding his huge grin. They both knew Tom was crazy about Arianna.
Arianna took a step forward but Tom kept one hand around her waist. She stopped and he bent kissing her softly. “Butterfly, if you need anything ask Lily, she’ll help you.”
****
Arianna sat next to Lily on one of the fold-out chairs. Side stage was really just a secured area along the side of the stage with some seats and a standing area. There were many people already there, standing. The chairs were for the women. Arianna looked across the stage watching the crew run around checking instruments, microphones, lights, speakers, and tons of things she didn’t recognize. They were trying to get everything ready for Distracted to take the stage. There were people everywhere.
The opening act had finished. The crew she learned had about a half hour to get Distracted’s set ready. Arianna had never seen so many people working together at one time. She tried to find Tom, but couldn’t. He was somewhere by the stage waiting to go on and entertain the huge crowd gathered to see them.
“Do you always come side stage to watch them?” Arianna glanced between the three women.
“Usually, but we don’t always watch them.” Amy looked around Lily at Arianna.
“You don’t?” Arianna leaned forward to see Amy.
Melissa laughed. “Sometimes we go out or hang out in the dressing rooms.”
“They don’t get mad?”
Arianna turned to look at Melissa on her right.
Lily giggled. “They understand.”
Arianna nodded. The girls were on tour with them all the time. She could understand if sometimes they wanted to go out instead of watching the show night after night.
“Have you seen them before?” Amy glanced over at Arianna.
“Their last show. I was on the rail with my friend Caroline.” Arianna twisted her head to look at Amy again.
Three heads turned to her with smiles on their faces. Lily giggled and reached over, squeezing her fingers. They all knew who she was now.
The guys had said how taken Tom had been with one of the women on the rail. How he had tried to find her after the show, but she had been gone. Clay had been right. He said Tom had gone to find the girl from the show and was staying in the town she lived in trying to convince her to come on the tour with him.
“The guys prefer we come here to watch the show. They think it keeps us safe from the crowds.” Melissa smiled.
“Does it?” Arianna looked over at Melissa.
“We’re technically back stage and this is a secured area. The crowd doesn’t have access.” Amy pointed to the barricade to the right.
“Have you ever been backstage at a show before?” Lily turned on her chair to Arianna.
A smile played on Arianna’s lips as she confessed, “No, this is my first. Actually, their last show was my first concert.”
“Really?” Amy asked.
Arianna laughed as her cheeks heated. “I live in a small town. Going to concerts isn’t something I normally do.”
Lily smiled, seeing her embarrassment. “The pyro goes off first. It’s loud and I still jump every time.”
“Me, too.” Melissa laughed.
“We all do.” Amy sat back in her chair watching the stage.
“I remember from the last show, it startled me.” Arianna braced for the pyro, which would signal the beginning of the set.
The lights dimmed. Arianna’s eyes fixed on the stage.
A loud explosion echoed off the walls, followed by five more in rapid succession. All the girls jumped.
