“I think it would be fun,” Cody said, not even turning to look at Sally. I gazed at her face and I could see that she was hurt, and that made me want to punch him. I was guessing that whatever leeway she’d thought they'd made on the way to the grocery store was now gone.

“Yeah,” TJ said and nodded. “So do I. Where’s Troy? Let’s see if he wants to play as well.” He glanced over at me and winked, and I wanted to slap him.

“I think he might be tired,” I lied. There was no way I was bringing Troy into this, especially as I didn’t really know what he knew or where he’d come from. I really needed to ask Sally what she’d been thinking by inviting him. It had been a good idea but not for the whole weekend. How did she think I’d be able to pull this off? Especially as she’d just sprung the surprise on me.

“I’ll go and check,” TJ said and he grinned at me. “This is a good way for you to get to know him better. See if he’s really the one.”

“I never said he was the one,” I said, feeling cornered.

“How come you never told me about him?” Cody said, finally breaking his gaze away from Barbie’s boobs and looking at me with a frown. “I didn’t even know you were dating anyone.”

“I don’t have to tell you every time I go on a date,” I said, glaring at him.

“They need to be vetted, Mila. You know you have questionable taste,” he said, sounding very much like the older, bossy brother he’s always been. “I don’t think Mom and Dad would appreciate you dating someone we don’t even know. I know Nonno definitely wouldn’t.”

“Whatever,” I said, feeling like a petulant kid.

“You should be more responsible, Mila,” Barbie said and looked at me with pitying eyes. “I know you’re desperate, but you shouldn’t just date a guy because he asks you out. I know it must be hard to have standards when you don’t get asked out much.”

“Barbie.” TJ’s voice was sharp and he frowned as he looked at her.

“I’m just teasing her,” Barbie said, looking like a wounded deer. “You know how I love to tease.” She looked at me with a sad little face and said, “Please don’t take my teasing seriously, Mila. I’m sure you get plenty of men.” She gave me an obviously fake smile and walked over to TJ and put her arm through his. “Please don’t be mad at me, honey bunny.” Her hand caressed his stomach. “Let’s get you some food.” She then looked around at everyone. “We must all be tired and hungry. We can eat and then decide what to do tonight.”

“Sounds like a plan to me,” Cody said eagerly, and Sally and I just looked at each other with a frown. We’d gone from exuberant to depressed in five minutes flat, and I wasn’t sure what game TJ was playing.

  ***

I tried to signal to Sally to follow me after lunch so that we could talk, but I couldn’t tell if she was paying attention to me. I gave her the eye, nodded toward the hallway and started walking. Lunch had been awkward and basically The Barbie Show, so I thought that we needed to come up with a plan to turn things around. I made my way down the hallway and smiled to myself as I heard steps behind me. I turned around to look at Sally and my jaw dropped when I saw that it was TJ.

“Come,” he said and grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his bedroom.

“What are you doing?” I said, my tone excited. Was he going to push me down on the bed and have his wicked way with me? And if he did, would I say no, or moan with pleasure that finally the day had come that I’d been waiting for?

“What you want me to do,” he said and he licked his lips. “You’re going to make me do something that I shouldn’t.”

“What shouldn’t you do?” I asked breathlessly, wanting to tell him to just shut up and do it already.

“I want to bend you over and…” He paused as his phone started ringing. I think both of us were annoyed at that point, but a part of me was grateful. I didn’t know what was going on; and while a part of me was excited, I was also very confused. TJ grabbed his phone and answered it, his features looking stoic. I took a step back, my heart racing and my brain in overdrive, feeling a bit worried. Yes, I wanted TJ to take me, but I’d had a more romantic setting in mind. I wanted to be made love to, not just fucked.

  Chapter Ten

  TJ

“Hey, Dad.” I said, waiting for him to speak. Mila gave me an awkward smile and started to back out of the room timidly. I reached out and grabbed her arm to stop her and she turned her face to me in surprise. “What’s up?” I said into the phone again as my fingers tightened their grip on Mila’s wrist.

“How’s everything going? According to plan?”

“You could say that,” I said as I grinned down at a perplexed Mila. I could feel her heart racing through my fingers, and I ran my fingers across the soft skin of her hands. It felt smooth to the touch. I wished that I was touching other parts of her body with more than just my fingers to see if every part of her was like finely spun silk.

“TJ, let me go,” she whispered, her eyes glaring at me as her nostrils flared. I could tell from the red hue in her face that she was still flustered from our previous conversation. I wondered if her panties were moist and wet with her juices. I’d seen the way she’d parted her legs as we’d talked, as if she were feeling heavy down there. I was glad that she was having the same reaction as me. My cock was hard with need for her. I shifted now since I could feel myself growing harder as I stared at her breasts heaving right next to me. What would she do if I reached over and squeezed her right breast? Would she react if my fingers gently tugged on her nipple? Would she cry out and moan in abandon if I pulled her top up and sucked on her breast? My mouth watered as I stared at her lips, pink and juicy, waiting for my kiss.

“So, what did you want, Dad?” I said, annoyed that he was calling me already. I’d told him I’d update him at the end of the weekend. I already felt like he’d pushed me into a corner. This whole weekend was not what I’d been hoping for.

“How’s Barbie?” he asked me softly. I could tell from the tone of his voice that he knew more than I wanted him to know.

“She’s fine,” I said stiffly, and I could see Mila looking at me curiously. “Not you,” I mouthed at her. “Barbie.” Her reaction was immediate. I could see the quick glimpse of hurt in her eyes before she masked it with another emotion.

  “You didn’t tell me that—”

“Dad, I hope you’re not spying on me.” I was annoyed now and my grip involuntarily tightened on Mila’s wrist. “I didn’t tell you that Barbie and I—”

“TJ, just get the job done,” My dad said. “Don’t let anything distract you.”

“I’m not,” I said and my eyes fell to Mila’s breasts again. She looked up at me and with her eyes narrowed, she used her other hand to push against my chest. I was so distracted by her touch that I momentarily loosened my grip and she pulled free of me. She ran to the door quickly, looked back at me for a few seconds and then hurried out.

I shook my head as I stood there. She had more spunk than I’d remembered as a child. She’d always been a precocious and beautiful kid, but she’d always seemed so shy and innocent. It had made me uncomfortable the way she’d gaze at me all doe-eyed and full of love as a teenager. Not that I’d been interested. There were too many college girls. And too many older women to deal with and learn from.

It wasn’t until she’d turned 18 and was heading out to college that I’d really noticed her. It had been at the lake house and she’d been wearing a figure-hugging dress and her long blond hair had been hanging down her back, and she’d been laughing and dancing around to something. And I’d looked over at her and she’d given me a long, lazy, carefree smile, her eyes half-closed and her hands in the air as she’d moved slowly and sensually to the song in her head. I can still remember the way that I’d felt when I’d watched her, and later that night when I kissed her, I hadn't been able to stop myself.

I would have tried to move further if it weren’t for the innocent look in her eyes and the fact that she is Cody’s
little sister. And as much as Cody bossed her around and acted like she was a pain in his ass, he loved her more than anything. I wasn’t sure if Mila knew how much of his actions towards her were because he was so protective of her. I knew that Cody would have killed me if I’d made a move on his teenage sister. He probably would still kill me if I made a move, but that didn’t bother me as much now. Now that I knew that she was older and could make up her own mind. And now that she made me so crazy inside that I just wanted to reach out and grab her and make her mine. No, now was different. There were things I’d risk for the opportunity to be with Mila.

“TJ, are you there? You haven’t answered anything I’ve just asked you.” My dad sounded pissed, which was his normal expression outside of the public eye. Pissed or annoyed or angry were the emotions that best described him. Though of course, to the public, he put on a casual, easy, relaxed demeanor. It was better for business for him to just appear as the handsome, nonchalant, happy-go-lucky playboy that the media liked to portray him as.

“I’m here,” I said shortly. I heard light giggling from the hall and I walked to the door to look outside. I saw Mila with Troy standing at the corner, whispering about something and Mila was looking up at him with glee in her eyes. The glee that should have been reserved for me. I watched as Troy reached over and ran his fingers through her hair; okay, that might have been an exaggeration. His touch was momentary and it seemed as if he were picking something off of her. My hand clenched on the phone as I stared at them. I could hear my dad still talking, but I wasn’t paying attention to what he was saying. I watched as Troy and Mila walked down the hallway past my door and I gave Troy a death stare, though he wasn’t paying attention to me. Mila looked up and gave me a coy smile as she passed by, her eyes seemingly mocking me, and I could feel my palm itching to give her a good spanking. That would show her to just walk past me with another man and think she had one up on me. If she only knew the things I was capable of. I watched her hips swaying as they rounded the corner, and I smiled to myself as I thought about the look she’d have on her face if I bent her across my lap and spanked her lightly and then fingered her. I’d roll her over so that I could see her eyes rolling and her lips quivering as I brought her to multiple orgasms with just my fingers.

“TJ, get this done and don’t fuck it up,” my dad barked into the phone. I hung up, muttering under my breath, “You’d better believe I’m going to fuck it up, Dad.” I smiled to myself as I headed to the living room. I was going to fuck it up as hard as I could.

  Chapter Eleven

  Mila

  December 28th, 2009

  Dear Diary,

I know what perfection is. Well, I guess that’s not correct. I know what bliss is. True and complete bliss. I was sitting in my room, listening to music on my iPod, feeling quite sorry for myself. TJ and Cody had gone on two double dates and Mom and Dad banned me from watching TV because they said I watch too many reality shows. Whatever! Anyways, there I was, lying on my bed, humming along to Boyz II Men and Coolio, and guess who walked into my room? You got it! My future husband, the wonderful magnificent gorgeous Adonis that is Travis James Walker. He just walked in, sat on my bed, grabbed one of my earphones and put it into his ear. He started grinning as he stared at me and listened to the song. To be honest, I can’t even remember what song I’d been listening to. All I can remember is his gorgeous green eyes as they gazed at me and I could see that he’d been working out because his biceps were so buff. I sat up so that my earphones wouldn’t break and then all of a sudden we both started rapping to the song that was playing. I didn’t even know I knew all the words and I was shocked he knew the words. It was just a perfect moment. We just sat there rapping together and giggling and then we kinda moved back on the bed swaying in time to the beat. I could almost cry it was so perfect. And then Cody had to come and ruin it because that’s who he is. The ruiner of all my dreams. Anyways, thought I had to let you know right away. Bliss is rapping to LL Cool J or whoever with TJ Walker on the bed, rubbing shoulders. The only way it could have been better is if he would have kissed me, but then I might just have died.

  XOXO

“I can’t believe that I am going to play truth or dare with my sister.” Cody looked totally disgusted as we all sat around the campfire that TJ and he had set up just minutes before. “Who persuaded me to do this?”

“The beer did.” TJ laughed as he swigged from his bottle.

“And I hope I was a small influence,” Barbie said, swaying her hair in the wind as she stood there with a bottle of water in her hand, her breasts bouncing in her hot pink halter top. Once again she was wearing no bra. I wanted to tell her she might as well have kept her bikini on or just gone topless, but I stopped myself. Knowing Barbie as well as I did already, I knew she would go topless in a heartbeat and that would piss me off even more.

“Should we start a collection?” Sally whispered in my ear as she pointed at Barbie.

“I think we’re the only ones who would put anything in.” I giggled as I whispered back to her. “I think she’s allergic to bras.”

“You’re right.” Sally laughed loudly this time. “I think I read about that condition in a medical journal.”

“Because you read medical journals all the time.” I burst out laughing.

“Hey, I read Cosmo and sometimes they have health tips.” She nodded, looking serious.

“Yeah, tips like what should you do if a condom comes off inside of you,” I said and I froze as Troy came up to me.

“You’re looking pretty tonight.” He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek and I could see Sally grinning.

“We still need to talk.” I glared at her, moving my face away from Troy.

“Yes, we do.” She grinned. “You sly dog, you.”

“I’m the sly dog?” I shook my finger at her. “You’re trying to get me into trouble.”

“I think you do that to yourself.” She giggled. “I need to learn from you.”

“Learn what from me?” I groaned.

“What are you two talking about?” Troy looked puzzled as he tried to take my hand, and I stepped away from him.

“Where Barbie should carry her rass to,” Sally said quickly, and Troy looked confused.

“Huh?” he said and I giggled.

“Sally.” I shook my head at her. “Behave.”

“I’m trying,” she said, her brown eyes boring into mine, looking hurt for a few seconds before looking over at Cody and Barbie.

“What did you say?” Troy said. “I didn’t understand.”

“It wasn’t English,” I said. “It’s a Caribbean term,” I said knowledgeably, feeling like some sort of smarty-pants.

“You’re Caribbean?” He looked at Sally in surprise.

“No.” She shook her head. “But I have family from Guyana, so I’ve been there several times, and to Jamaica, Barbados, St. Lucia and Antigua.”

“Wow.” Troy looked impressed. “I’ve always wanted to go to the Bahamas to gamble.”

“Oh, okay.” Sally nodded, looking confused, and I could tell from the look on her face that she thought Troy was annoying as well and she was going to say something. I knew the look well and knew she couldn’t stop herself. “You want to go to The Bahamas to gamble, and that’s it? Wouldn’t Vegas be a better option? I don’t know that the Bahamas is known for its casinos.” She paused and the look she gave him would have made a smarter man blanch.

“Well, I’m pretty good at blackjack. Last year I won fifty dollars playing Bingo at my grandma’s retirement home.” He looked proud of himself.

“Uh?” Sally frowned. “Sorry, I don’t get the connection between blackjack and Bingo?”

“Well, my grandma’s friends told me they thought I’d kill at the blackjack tables with my bingo skills,” he said and I had to stop myself from groaning. He was such a dumbass. I wondered where Sally had found him.

  “Oh, okay.” Sally nodded.

“And I did win fifty bucks,” he continued, “so if I keep on winning big, I’ll soon be a millionaire.”

“I suppose, one one dutty does build damn.” Sally nodded, rolling her eyes.

“Huh?” Troy looked confused and looked at me. “What’s that?”

“Another Guyanese term.” I grinned, well versed in the different terms Sally used. “It means that the pennies add up and soon you have a lot of money.”

“Oh, I won fifty dollars,” he said, looking at Sally, “not pennies.”

“It’s figurative. Not literal,” Sally said and sighed, looking over at Cody. “Hey, you guys ready? I’m ready for some games.”

“Let’s do it,” TJ said and I looked over at him and blushed as he winked at me.

“I know I’m excited,” Troy said, hurrying over to the fire and sitting on the ground. He patted the seat next to him and looked over at me, but I looked the other way and hurried to the other side to sit next to Cody.

“So how are we going to do this?” Cody said, drinking beer and leaning back. My brother looked flushed and handsome, and I could see both Barbie and Sally admiring him. I bit my lower lip as I saw Cody looking back at Barbie. I sure hoped that he wasn’t going to do anything to hurt Sally’s feelings.

“We’ll all write our names on a piece of paper,” TJ said. I looked over at him in surprise, not expecting him to be the one in charge of setting up the game of truth or dare. “And we’ll all write a few dares and put it into a different hat when people pick dares. When someone picks truth, one person will get to ask them a question.”

“What if Mila picks me or I pick Mila?” Cody said, looking over at me in disgust. “I’m not doing any sort of crazy dare with my sister.”

“Since when have you cared about crazy?” TJ raised an eyebrow at him. “Back in your frat days…” TJ’s voice drifted off and I saw Cody glaring at him.

“You’re sick,” Cody said, and Sally looked at him curiously.

“What did you do?” she asked him and I stared at him as well, wondering what dirty deeds my brother had gotten up to while he was in college.
