“We will eat soon,” Raul called over the net. “Harry and I need to beat the terrible twins first.”
“Terrible!” Lucas said. “I’d say we’re pretty damn awesome.”
“Aye, we are.” Mason hurtled the ball over the net, narrowly missing Raul’s head as it hit the water.
“Right!” Harry grabbed it. “Come on, Raul, let’s show them.”
Olivia nipped past Lucas and hauled herself out of the pool. She grabbed a towel, wrapped it around her body, and wandered to the open French doors at the back of the villa.
Once inside, she had a drink of water, then headed up the stairs. The scent of chlorine clung to her, and a smile had set itself on her lips. Having fun in the pool with the guys had been the perfect antidote to a long day and a strange encounter.
She turned left on the top corridor, to make for her usual room, but as she passed the double bedroom next to it, she spotted Evan.
He had a black towel around his waist, and his hair was slicked back, wet from a shower. But it wasn’t that which caught her attention.
He was standing by the window, looking out over the pool. He appeared mesmerized, pre-occupied, engrossed. In his hand he held a t-shirt she recognized as Harry’s black Armani one.
Olivia paused in the doorway with her palm on the frame. He was so big and gorgeous, skilled and passionate, but sometimes with Evan, despite her initial impression of what-you-see-is-what-you-get, there was much more going on beneath the surface.
She opened her mouth, preparing to ask him if he was okay, but halted when he moved his arm.
He drew Harry’s t-shirt to his face, buried his nose in it, and breathed deep.
Olivia’s heart stuttered. She recognized that action. Hell, she herself had done it in the past when dragging in someone’s scent.
Someone she liked.
A lot.
Evan…likes Harry…
She stepped into the room.
He remained unaware of her presence and continued to hold the t-shirt to his face as he watched the action in the pool.
“Evan.” Her heart was thumping and her pulse loud in her ears.
He turned, instantly dropping the t-shirt to the carpet. A frown marred his brow, and his mouth hung open.
Olivia shut the door and walked around the edge of the bed. She reached for the t-shirt, then held it to her nose. She breathed deep. “Harry’s cologne smells good.”
Evan closed his mouth and his eyes. He bowed his head.
“It’s okay,” she said, resting her hand on his upper arm. “If you like him like that.”
“Olivia.” He opened his eyes. “I don’t know…I…” His voice was breathy, higher pitched than usual.
“And if you enjoyed the kiss, just a fraction, one percent, that’s okay with me…and him.”
“But I…”
“I know you’re not gay, Evan.”
Suddenly his mouth was on hers. He crushed her to his body and dragged her to the bed.
She kissed him back with all the intensity he was giving her. He tasted delicious, fresh and minty. His weight on her was so sexy. And to know there was something there, a spark, between two of her hot husbands…it turned her on all the more.
“I want you,” he gasped, tugging off her bikini. “Now.” His movements were strong and swift. Desperation seemed to have taken over him.
What is he so desperate to prove?
“Have me, Evan, take me.”
He was rock solid as he nudged her legs apart and his cock butted up against her pussy.
Suddenly he rammed in, full depth on a long, swift plunge.
She cried out and clung to him. A nip of pain mixed with pleasure.
He buried his face in her neck and shunted in some more, even though he was already so high.
“Evan,” she gasped, hooking her legs around the backs of his. “Oh, God.”
“I love your pussy,” he said. “I love you.”
“And I love you.” She held his shoulders tight as he thrust into her, barely withdrawing on each stroke and propeling her up the bed.
He grunted then caught her mouth in another wild kiss.
He seemed crazed with the need to be inside her, to come, to prove something.
She gave as good as she got. Canting her hips and taking him in deeper and deeper still. She dragged her nails over his shoulders, the way she had at the waterfall, scratching his golden skin.
He broke the kiss, moaned, and carried on thrusting, as if the sting was encouraging him.
She clasped her legs around him tighter, caught his face in her palms, and kissed him again.
He rammed his tongue into her mouth. She did the same to him. Sex sweat slicked their chests together, the headboard banged against the wall. A wonderful pressure was growing in her pelvis. He was hitting the spot just right.
“I’m coming,” he gasped, rearing up, locking his arms and staring down at where they joined.
“Yes…yes…Evan…” She allowed the dense pressure to overspill; he was pumping into her fast and it made the orgasm strong and swift.
He gritted his teeth and came with her. His entire body tensed, the tendons on his neck were taut, and his belly sucked in.
“Oh, God, yeah…” he panted. “That’s it.” He shoved in some more, then collapsed on top of her.
Air rushed from her lungs. She wrapped him in her embrace and gripped him with her internal muscles. “Evan…”
He lifted up a fraction. “Are you okay? Shit, did I hurt you?”
“No.” She smiled and brushed his hair from his brow. “It was different, but no, I’m fine. I liked it.”
He kissed her gently, then pulled out and flopped onto his back.
Olivia twisted onto her side and pressed her palm to the center of his chest. He was breathing fast, his ribs visible with each deep inhale.
“I’m sorry if I hurt you,” she said, pressing her lips to his shoulder.
“Huh?” He frowned.
“Your back. I scratched it.”
“Ah that…” The frown melted. “That was nice, reminded me of our first time, on the island.”
“By the waterfall.”
“Yeah, it was amazing.”
“I thought so, too.” She drew a circle on his sternum, then stroked over first his right then his left nipple. “Evan.”
“Mmm.”
“You need to talk to me. Tell me what’s going on.”
“I’m fine.”
“I know you are, but…”
“But what?”
“You and Harry.”
“We’re fine. I told you. It’s like it never happened.”
“But it did happen. You kissed and it’s affected you. I need to know how.”
He pressed his lips together.
“Don’t clam up.” She raised onto her elbow so she could study his face. “I’m always honest with you, I tell you everything.”
He sighed and looked her in the eyes.
She was silent.
“I can’t explain it, babe, what it is I’m feeling.”
“Shall I have a go?”
He huffed. “If you think you can.”
“Okay.” She steeled herself. She had to be true to her word and be honest about what she suspected—but what if she was wrong? “You and Harry have an amazing relationship, you’re best mates, you can take the piss out of each other, be angry at each other, but you’re still there at the end of the day, as mates, no matter what. You’ve got each other’s back.”
“Yeah, we have. We’ve been through enough.”
“So for him you’re a very rare man.”
“What does that mean?”
She smiled and stroked over his left nipple again. “You treat him like an ordinary guy, not a famous billionaire, and more than that, you don’t see his money, you see Harry.”
“Neither do Raul, Mason or Lucas, see his money, that is. It’s been like that for a long time, Olivia.”
“True, bu
t they still don’t treat him quite the way you do. You’ll pull him up for his mistakes, give him credit when it’s due…you share me, in bed. Your friendship is precious, you don’t want anything from him other than that.”
He glanced away.
“Until the kiss.” She paused. “I saw it Evan, and I know what I saw.”
He clenched his hands that were resting on his abdomen. “Which was?”
“It went beyond friendship. You kissed him back, for the briefest of moments. Which wasn’t such a shock for me to see.” Olivia went on quickly, “We’re intimate, the three of us. When we’re all naked, coming together, it’s sexy; hell, it’s off-the-scale hot. Why wouldn’t you two be attracted to each other?”
“Don’t you see, though,” he said. “That’s what threw me, completely.”
“What…tell me?”
“I’ve never wanted to be attracted to another bloke let alone kiss one. It’s never crossed my mind. To start with it shocked the hell out of me that he’d done it, then…” He rubbed his lips as if keeping words in, or maybe he was remembering the kiss.
“Then?”
“Then I was angry at myself for reacting to it. First for kissing someone other than you, and then the fact I hadn’t hated it…with another man.” His voice quieted. “What does that mean?”
“It’s okay.” She reached for his hand and pressed her lips to his knuckles. “It really is okay and it doesn’t have to mean anything.”
“How is it okay?” he whispered. “I don’t know what to do now. Am I gay?”
“Sex, sexuality, it’s an individual thing, a rainbow of desires, there’s no need to put a label on it. Harry was right when he said to go with what feels good, it makes a lot of sense and clearly works for the way he’s feeling about our time in bed together.”
“Do you think Harry finds me sexy?”
“You’re a great-looking guy, Evan, I’m sure anyone with a pulse finds you sexy.” She grinned, then became serious again. “He’s curious as to what it would be like if there were no rules. And don’t forget, Harry is someone who can change rules, usually by throwing cash at whoever made the rule, so he’s less bound by them because of his upbringing and privilege. And there we have it again, money won’t solve this for him. You’re either interested in going with what feels right, or not.” She ran her hand down his chest, over his belly, and rested her palm just above his patch of pubic hair. “But there’s no pressure. Not from him or me, this is your decision entirely.”
“I know there isn’t any pressure, and the way Harry and I have slipped back into our usual way together shows that.”
She smiled. “I’m so glad about that.”
“Me, too.” He stroked her hair and studied her face.
“What?” She sensed something was mulling around his mind. “What are you thinking?”
“I’m thinking…that I am interested in going with what feels right. And it does feel right to relax the rules.”
Chapter Twelve
“It does. You are?” A bubble of excitement grew in Olivia’s belly. Evan was interested in being more intimate with Harry when they were enjoying threesomes. Just the recalled image of them kissing sent heat between her legs and made her nipples tight.
“But,” he said, caressing her neck. “Only when you’re there, it’s a threesome thing, right.”
“Right.”
“And I don’t want the others to know, at least not yet. I don’t understand it myself and can barely explain it to you and Harry.”
“Of course. I get that.”
“And…”
“What?”
He suddenly gripped her arms and pulled her on top of him, so their naked bodies were aligned. “You have to know it’s you I want and love.”
“Love comes in many forms.”
“It does, and I suppose I love all the guys to a certain degree, but not the way I love you, my wife.”
“And so where does Harry fit in?”
“Somewhere in-between, I guess.” He kissed her and ran his hands to her buttocks. “But don’t go letting on to him about that, he’s got a big enough ego as it is.”
She giggled and rubbed her belly against his hardening cock. “There’s something else big around here, too.”
He raised his eyebrows. “Yeah, and you’re just about to find out how big.”
He lifted her so she was just above his cock.
She sank down onto it. Her pussy was still wet from their last fuck.
“Slow,” he said, gripping her waist. “Make love to me slowly.”
“Yes…” Her heart swelled with love as she tipped forward and kissed him. What they had was strong and powerful, it could withstand a few risks, especially risks which could prove to be incredibly sexy and well worth taking.
Soon a gentle but hugely satisfying rhythm was leading her to another climax. He held her face as she came, staring into her eyes. Then he groaned and found his own pleasure.
Bang. Bang.
“Hey, are you in there, hen?” Mason’s voice thundered through the door.
“Yes,” Olivia called.
“Food is on the table.”
“Thanks, be right there.”
“I’ve stolen you away for longer than I should have,” Evan said, still breathing fast.
“I’m glad we had this time together. I’m feeling very satisfied, and a little excited.”
“Excited?”
“For you, Evan. This thing with Harry has been playing on your mind, but it will be okay now, you’ll see.”
“I hope you’re right.”
“I am.” She climbed off him. “I need a shower before dinner. I’m hot and sweaty.” She was also very damp between her legs after receiving two lots of Evan’s pleasure.
“You do that,” he said. “I’m gonna lie here and recover for a minute.”
“Your last recovery was pretty impressive.”
“You think so?” He grinned.
“Hell yes.”
Dinner was one of Raul’s delicious paellas washed down with a beer. Contentment settled over Olivia. Sitting on the balcony with her men, watching the sunset turn the ocean burnt orange, was perfect.
Mason sat with his arm around her shoulders, and his body heat radiated onto her skin. Evan was relaxed, so was Harry. Raul had decided to teach Lucas a Spanish card game. He kept winning, much to Lucas’s frustration, even though they were only playing for matchsticks.
Eventually, exhaustion got the better of Olivia, and she was unable to hide a third loud yawn. Her tiredness meant she was feeling cold, too.
“You should get to bed, hen,” Mason said.
“Yes, I should. It’s been a long day, and with that drive as well, I’m done in.”
“Go snuggle up in my bed, I’ll be along soon, to keep you warm,” he said, rubbing her shoulder, his large palm creating friction and a little heat.
“Okay, I will.” She smiled and stood. “Night, everyone, I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Sure thing, Liv,” Harry said, “And have a lie in. We’re going nowhere for a few days, we’re just hanging out here soaking up the sun.”
“Hard life, eh?” She dropped a kiss onto Raul’s head as she stepped past him. He’d pulled his glossy dark hair into a low ponytail; she hadn’t seen him do that before, but it suited him. “Sleep well, everyone.”
“Love you,” Lucas called as she stepped from the balcony.
She threw him a smile then padded barefoot to the twin’s bedroom. She didn’t even bother to turn on a light, just brushed her teeth in the en suite then stripped to her underwear and slipped between the sheets of the double bed nearest the window. Her limbs were heavy, and she sank happily onto the mattress. She hoped Mason wouldn’t be too long, she wanted his arms around her. Lucas, too, if he wanted to share their bed.
Within minutes sleep was stealing up on her. Her thoughts became fractured and floaty.
“Shh, hen.” Mason wrapped his arms around her
and pulled her near. “Stay asleep.”
“Mmm.” She cuddled closer and inhaled his familiar scent.
He tangled his legs with hers and sighed. “It’s nice to go to sleep without listening to those hyenas.”
“Mmm.” She half smiled then allowed the gentle dream that had been encroaching to take full hold. It was full of images of the animals she’d seen while at Kaskum—flamingos, giraffe, elephants, colorful birds. Anya was in her dream, too—her dear friend who she missed already. She was on a boat, heading to Spain. Raul at the helm, his hair catching in the wind. Evan waterskiing behind. Harry was there, too, with Evan, holding on to him tight. Lucas and Mason had angry expressions…she saw why…Paul.
Paul.
She missed him.
Even in her dream her emotions bubbled. Frustration, anger, hurt coiled into a big black ball she could actually pick up. She threw it at Paul, he caught it, then dropped it, allowing it to smash into hundreds of pieces. Mason and Lucas were really mad now, so was Harry, Evan, too. Raul was shouting at Paul. Harry had not one but two guns. He was pointing them at Paul.
Suddenly she sat upright. Heart pounding, she stared at the darkness before her.
“You okay?” Mason murmured.
“Yes.” She swallowed. “I’m fine.” What a strange dream. And Paul. His face, it had been so clear, so was her five husbands’ anger with him. Is that how they all feel? But their anger didn’t stop her missing him. He’d been special, what they’d had was special, or at least she’d thought it was.
Not special enough.
Her throat was dry. She needed a drink of water.
Scooting to the edge of the mattress, she was careful not to disturb Mason.
Lucas’s sleeping shape was evident in the next bed.
Walking silently, she let herself out of the room and went into the kitchen. She reached for a tumbler then filled it with water.
The scent of dinner lingered, or that’s what is smelled like. Kind of. It was stale, onions perhaps. Not very pleasant, almost like body odor.
She caught her reflection in the large dark window and walked up to it, remembering another night she’d stood in this spot in the darkness. Paul had also gotten out of bed for a drink. He’d joined her, promised to try to understand her situation with the guys.
