Faith (My Misery Muse)

Later that afternoon I was sitting out in the patio with my friends and family celebrating the fact that I had finally gotten Mags not only agree to marry me, but actually do it, it was a fucking miracle.
I pushed myself back into the living room heading to the kitchen to grab something to drink when I noticed Sam staring out the windows into the backyard. I looked out the patio door trying to find out what he was staring at. Ah well, that was interesting. “Sam, sure you don’t want to talk about it?”I asked looking back towards what he had been staring at.
He shook his head. “Not my story to tell.”
“I’m here if you need to.”
“Thanks.”
Next thing I know is there's screaming coming from someplace, and I rolled into the kitchen and really wish I hadn’t. There was my cousin, Cin, trying to pull her skirt back around her ass and one of my best friends, X, with a smile on his face.
“What the fuck?” yelled Devi.
“We were looking for some condiments,” replied X.
She just shook her head at them. “Get the hell out and fucking behave.”
They both walked out of the pantry and the next thing I know X is on the floor holding his bloody nose and Eli was standing over him, hands in fists glaring—fuck.
I glared up at the ceiling wishing that I could have some drama free time with my new wife eventually, then I thought about that, wife, I had a wife and a daughter, I smiled widely and rolled myself out of the way. They could handle their own drama I was going to go see my wife and daughter.
Acknowledgments
I need to give special thanks to three ladies who have become great friends. They have kept me sane through the process of writing Faith, and they have put up with my constant teasing, complaining, whining, and outright bitchiness. They were my sounding board through Faith, my original beta readers, they are my pimps, and so a very big thank you to Holly Malgeri, Kim Box Person, and Nikki Sparks. I do appreciate all you do even if it doesn’t seem like it at times.
Thank you to my beta readers, Wendy Bree Rex and Megan Smith. I appreciate you taking time out to help me develop Faith further.
Tanya Keetch, The Word Maid, my incredibly understanding editor, thank you for all the work you put in, and thank you for tolerating my insanity, and for being there as my friend and confidant.
Sarah Hansen, Okay Creations, thanks once again for another beautiful cover, I look forward to working with you once again on the next piece of art you create.
To the authors who have helped me and inspired me. There are too many to name but thank you all for supporting me as well as giving us stories that affect us, some to tears of pain for characters we have fallen in love with, to cheers of happiness, and laughter at what life holds.
L. Diane Wolfe, Spunk of a Stick, thank you for formatting both My Misery Muse and Faith, and for answering questions.
To all the blogs that help support me. There are many, so if I leave someone out I am sorry. I appreciate each and every one of you: Iloveindiebooks, kindlehooked, Stick Girl Book Reviews, Romantic Reading Escapes, Shh Moms Reading, Flirty and Dirty Book Blog, TotallyBooked, The Book Avenue Review, Under The Covers Book Blog, The SUBCLUB Books, Wolfel's World of Books, Word, So Many Books So Little Time. Once again, if I missed someone I'm sorry and thank you.
Robin Harper, Wicked by Design, thank you for designing the swag for the My Misery Muse series, I appreciate it, and I love it.
To my husband and son, thank you for dealing with an insane wife and Mommy while I wrote this. I'm sorry for all the take-out and insane hours. I love you both very much.
To my readers, thank you for taking a chance on My Misery Muse and I am so happy that you loved Seth and Devi as much as I do, and hope you fall just as in love with Mags and Drake. I look forward to giving you more of the gang, and many more books.
Thank you, everyone for all the support. I really do appreciate it all.
