LOVE AT FIRST CLICK Page 4

by Jessica Caryn

I walked over to him. Damon gave me a pillow and then stacked more on top of it. I shook my head.

“Merissa, I like to be comfortable too.”

“Yes, I can tell.” I watched him pick out linens. I knew Damon would be an attentive lover. I held the pillows tight. I thought about my fantasy and how hard I rode the pillow that night. I’ve been sexually aroused since. My pussy throbbed. I imagined a steamy romance scene right there. He’ll pull me close for a passionate kiss. I wanted it rough, so we’ll fall into the wooden shelf. I’ll hold onto it. Damon will grab my butt and whisper the dirtiest things. I’ll tell him I want it just like that and then….

  Damon said my name.

  I glanced at him. “Yes?”

  “I’m ready when you are.”

  His voice caressed me.

  He sounded like he was.

I bet Damon could do it all night.

I wanted to drop the pillows and kiss him.

  I shook off the fantasy.

I smiled and carried the pillows out of the room.

He followed me up the steps.

My pussy was wet and my knees felt weak.

He thought the pillows were too heavy for me.

I couldn’t tell him the truth.

I wondered if he had this effect on all women.

I made it to the third level without falling and decided not to risk the guest bedroom. I would probably say or do something inappropriate. I piled the pillows on the loveseat. He gave me a sexy smile and his thank you sounded naughty. I nodded because I was breathless. I wanted him really bad. I turned to leave.

“Did you have lunch yet?” He asked.

  I turned around.

“No, what did you have in mind?”

“I’d like to take you out to eat. Now before you reject my offer, please know I didn’t eat today. I wanted to show my appreciation to you for letting me rent the place on such short notice. If you say yes, we can go to the bistro. I noticed they had a great menu when I was there.”

“Well I can’t reject you now.” I laughed.

Damon gave me his best innocent face.

  “I’m glad because I’m starving.”

“You’re too much.” I told him.

“I’ll be ready in fifteen minutes.”

“Okay sounds good. It’ll take me that long to make the bed and put away my things…”

He stared at me. “Merissa what’s wrong?”

“Maybe we should order. My eyes are irritated and...”

Damon smiled. “I love those on you.”

  I touched my glasses. “Really?”

“Yes, you look amazing in them.”

“Thanks, so I’ll see you in fifteen?”

“Well, I may need a two minute grace period. I have to put cases on all these pillows. ”

I laughed “I’ll take it into consideration.”

I was in my bedroom minutes later and I couldn’t stop smiling. I imagined how great it might have been if we met when we were supposed to. I don’t think there would’ve been awkward moments. I felt a little guilty when I thought about AS569. We were online friends so this can’t be considered cheating. I don’t know if I’ll have the same connection with Damon but it feels good. I wanted to get to know him. I shook my head. I shouldn’t lie to myself. I wanted to have sex with Damon. I probably would have felt the same physical attraction to AS569 if we met in person. I will bring up the subject tonight in chat. I wanted AS569 to know how much I enjoyed the time I spent with him online. I’ll tell him about Damon and let him decide if he’d like to remain friends. I pulled off the oversized sweater on the way into the bathroom. I freshened up and then took my hair out of the bun. My wild curls sprung free. I stood in front of my closet. I wanted to look cute but feel comfortable. I decided on a wine colored fitted sweater and dark denims. I slid a handful of gold bangles on my wrist. I glanced at the time. I had a few minutes. I used a bit of mascara and a sheer lip gloss. I sprayed my favorite scent into the air, stepped into the mist, and let it settle. I put on my glasses and then checked my reflection in the mirror.

I grabbed a gold scarf out of the closet.

I walked out of my bedroom.

Damon waited in the sitting area.

  “Hey, you’re early.” I smiled.

  “I’m glad I was.”

  His eyes swept over me.

  “Merissa you look beautiful.”

  “Oh, thank you.”

He asked if I was ready. I picked up my leather bag and keys. I thought Damon would step aside and let me pass. He held out his hand. I took it. He tucked his arm behind him and took the lead. It made me feel feminine. I hadn’t had a guy do it before. It was a kind gesture but very intimate. We went downstairs to the entry way to put on our shoes and coats. I locked the door on our way out. Damon held out his hand for mine. I took it without hesitation. We walked to my car. I felt excited. I hope lunch at the bistro went well.

  DAMON

  Chapter Six

“Merissa would you like me to drive?”

“Oh I wouldn’t ask you to.”

“I want you to be comfortable.”

  “Okay, thanks.”

I held the door. She gave me the sweetest thank you. I waited until Merissa was situated and then closed it. I walked around the car, opened the driver’s side and slid behind the wheel. I put the key in the ignition and Merissa adjusted the heat.

I took my license out of my wallet.

  “Damon, I believed you.”

“I want to earn your trust.”

  “I’m willing to let you.”

  She put on the seatbelt.

“It feels good not to drive. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” I fixed my seatbelt and fastened it. “Alright, you’re in charge of directions, climate control, and music.”

“Aww, I wanted to fully relax.” She teased.

We settled into a comfortable routine on the drive.

I parked in the lot ten minutes later.

“Damon, you don’t have to open my door.”

“I want to do it when I’m with you.”

  She fumbled with her seatbelt

“I like how affection and attentive you are, believe me I do and you have no idea how good it makes me feel. I just don’t want to get used to it.” ‘

“I’ll stop if you don’t like it.”

She stared at me. “You’re serious.”

“Yes, tell me not to and I won’t.”

“You’ll spoil me.” She said softly.

“I’ll be consist and make sure you feel your best.”

  Her lips parted in surprise.

I wanted to kiss her full pout.

  I couldn’t, not yet.

“Merissa, tell me what you want.”

“Can you please continue or did I ruin it?”

I got out of the car and opened the door for her.

  She brushed against me.

  “Damon, I really like it.”

Her voice was raspier. She took my hand. I noticed it was a natural response now. I hit the locks on the car and we walked across the lot. She waited until I pulled open the glass door. Her soft thank you sounded a bit naughty. I smiled because I felt the same. We went in. I asked her to pick out our table. She led me to one in a corner. We were comfortable minutes later. I gave her a menu but she peeked over so much, I motioned for her to come closer. She scooted over and I helped her get situated. Merissa read the menu in an excited whisper. She looked up and my mouth brushed her forehead.

“Have you decided?” I asked her.

“I like the margherita pizza but the pitas are good.”

She flipped the menu. “What will you have?”

“A southwest burger and the hand cut fries.”

She bit her lip. “Oh, that sounds good too.”

The waiter came to the table.

I asked for the pan fried artichokes.

  Merissa quickly searched the menu.

  “Parmesan crisps, olive ta
penade... Oh, Damon this sounds good.” She whispered.

I told her it’ll be great to start.

  She ordered her pizza.

I asked if she’d like wine.

  “Oh I have to…”

I showed her the car keys.

I was the driver she could if she wanted.

Merissa smiled. “Yes, I think I will have wine.”

I noticed the expensive wine collection at her house. She had excellent taste I liked how her eyes sparkled whenever she smiled. Merissa talked with the waiter. I half- listened to the conversation. I took the time to admire Merissa. Her curls created a soft halo around her shoulders. I liked the sweater she wore. She was soft spoken but decisive with her questions and what she wanted. I knew she would be a pleaser in bed. I wouldn’t objectify her but damned if I didn’t want her in every possible way. She finished her selections. The waiter glanced at me. I placed my order but didn’t take my eyes off of her. She blushed under my gaze but maintained eye contact with me. The waiter asked a question. I glanced at him, answered, and gave him a polite smile. I waited until he left the table to speak with her. “Merissa, you look beautiful.”

“Thank you Damon, you compliment me often, I really liked that. You’re kind of incredible yourself. I like the contrast of your destroyed denims, distressed leather, and the thermal shirt is a rugged sexy touch.”

I was about to respond when the waiter returned.

He came with my water and then poured her a glass of wine. He said our appetizer will be out shortly. We both thanked him. Merissa laughed. It sounded soft and light. The waiter left. I let her know I appreciated the compliments. I asked if there was anything she’d like to know.

  “Do you have any siblings?”

“I have a sister. We are fifteen years apart. Mom was told she couldn’t have more children. They tried for a few years and gave up. I was a surprise to them. My sister was rebellious in her teenage years. My parents were traumatized. I had it easy.” I chuckled.

“Damon that’s awful.” Merissa tried not to laugh.

“I’m serious. When I did things and believe me I did a lot, they would say- “Hey son, you’ll live and learn it’s up to you. They were exhausted at that point.”

She smiled. “Oh no, you were the good kid.”

“Not at all but it seemed that way because my sister’s track record was outrageous. She disliked how much my parents let me get away with. I tease her because she made me look like a little angel.”

“You were so bad.” Merissa laughed.

“Yes really awful.” I grinned. “My sister and I have a great relationship in spite of it. My parents are retired and enjoy the peace and quiet.”

“Good, I’m sure they deserve it.”

The waiter came with our appetizer.

  Merissa adjusted the place settings.

  “These look really good.”

“I like them. The artichokes are dipped in a seasoned batter and then fried. I like the parmesan chips with it. The sauce has lemon rind and mayo in it. If you don’t like them, let me know. I’ll eat yours.”

  “You’re so greedy.” She giggled.

“I’m starving woman.” I put a few on my plate.

I heard the low crunch as she bit into the artichoke.

  “Oh, this is good!”

“I have mixed feelings about your liking them.”

“Why?” She continued to munch on it.

“I plan to eat them all myself.”

“Aww, too bad, now please pass the sauce.”

I laughed. “We should split them even at least.”

“I think you’ll be alright.” She teased me.

We ate and relaxed for a few minutes.

I sipped my water. “So do you have any siblings?”

“Yes.” She covered her mouth with a linen napkin.

“I have a sister on my father’s side.”

  “Do you see her often?”

“She travels a lot. We talk several times a week. She and I look alike. My mom said I remind her of a girly version of dad. I think she’s still in love with him yet she’s convinced a new marriage every five years will cure her heartache.”

“Has it been rough for you?”

“Yes, I don’t have much of a relationship with my dad. Mom made it difficult for him to visit me when I was young. It’s not an excuse because he shouldn’t have let her come between us. We talk every now and then but he somehow manages to make the conversation about him. My mom is the same. I guess they’re more alike than they would care to admit.”

“How do you feel about it?”

“I’m indifferent, as an adult I know my parents choices weren’t about me.”

“You have great insight to the situation.”

  “It keeps me sane.”

Her laugh was light and sincere but I knew it was a sensitive subject for her. I thought Merissa couldn’t be more beautiful than she was in that moment.

The waiter came with our food.

  Merissa stared at my plate.

“Your burger is huge. Can I have some of it?”

I cut a piece for her. She thanked me and then asked if I wanted pizza. We figured it out and minutes later we had equals amount of burger, pizza, and fries. We relaxed and kept the conversation light. I know it was a casual late lunch but Merissa was the best date I’ve had in a while. She didn’t ask or expect to know every single detail about my life. I liked how quiet she could be but in a second she could talk non-stop about what she was interested in. Her voice was sensual and filled with emotion. Merissa could talk to me for hours and I wouldn’t mind it. I thought it was cute how she peeked up at me.

“What do you want to say?” I smiled.

“Oh I was just…” She shook her head.

  “Hey, you can be honest.”

Merissa gave me an intense stare.

“Do you use that phrase often?”

“I use it on an intimate level.”

I thought about Curious Kitty 997.

  My eyes locked on Merissa.

This would be a hell of a coincidence.

  MERISSA

  Chapter Seven

I had a moment of confusion. Damon reminded me of Articulate Scholar 569. I didn’t know what he looked like but he was attractive to me. I wanted to be honest but I didn’t think Damon will understand my online attraction to a guy I hadn’t ever met.

  He waited for my response.

  “You remind me of someone.”

“Do you like him?” He asked.

“Yes but I like you too.”

“I understand.” He picked up the menu.

  “Do you want dessert?”

“Okay but will it be weird between us now?”

  Damon dropped the menu.

He gave me a heated stare.

I bit my lip and waited.

The waiter came to our table.

He filled my wineglass and cleared the dishes.

Damon asked for a slice and a half of chocolate cake and requested the check. I didn’t know he’d be upset. My cheeks burned from embarrassment.

  We sat in silence.

“Damon, I think we should go.” I said quietly.

  Merissa, please look at me.”

I saw how concerned he was.

“Beautiful you have to communicate with me.”

“I shouldn’t have mentioned another guy.”

  “I’m not worried about it.”

“Oh, I thought you were mad.”

“I couldn’t ever be upset with you.” He smiled.

“Okay, then why didn’t you let …”

The waiter came with a big slice of cake.

I saw the two dessert forks.

“I’m really embarrassed now.” I murmured.

  “You shouldn’t be.”

Damon glanced at the check and took out his wallet.

“Please let me pay for lunch.” I said quickly.

He added the tip and put his credit card in th
e leather holder. “No, and please stop making this weird.”

I laughed. “Okay, I’m finished with it.”

I took a forkful of cake.

The icing was rich but not too sweet.

  “Merissa, how does it taste?”

  His question sounded so naughty.

I licked icing off the fork. “I like it.”

“I thought chocolate was your favorite.”

“It is but how did you know, I didn’t tell you.”

Damon took a forkful of cake. “I have this theory.”

  “I would love to…”

I stopped in mid- sentence. Jake walked in the bistro with Trixie. I can’t wrap my mind around why he would bring her to my favorite place.

  “Merissa what’s wrong?”

“My ex just came in with his co-worker, girlfriend or whatever she is but I think we should leave before he makes a scene. He’s on his way over here.”

  “Don’t worry about it.”

  “Please Damon…”

“Beautiful, I need you to trust me.”

  “Okay, I can do that.”

Damon held a forkful of cake to my lips.

  I took it. He moaned.

I was surprised by the low sexy sound.

He brushed icing off my lip.

I watched him lick his finger.

I moaned softly. “Please can I have more?

  I sounded breathless but I didn’t care.

He did it again. It was such a turn on. I wanted him to lick my… Damon winked at me. I blushed when I felt his hand on my back. There was slight pressure. His gentle caress felt good. Damon shifted and his mouth brushed my forehead.

  “Beautiful, we’ll leave soon, okay?”

I nodded. I didn’t care how it went.

I wanted him to keep touching me.

  Jake cleared his throat.

“Merissa won’t you introduce me to your friend?”

  I ignored him.

  Trixie stared at Damon.

  I felt possessive.

She wanted Jake, she had him.

  Damon introduced himself.

  “Jake Richman, I’m Merissa’s fiancée.”

Trixie hit him in the chest. “She’s your ex.”

Damon smiled. “I don’t mind your sense of humor but your lovely wife didn’t think it was funny.”

Trixie had the nerve to blush. “I’m not his wife.”

Jake gave her a dirty look.

  She didn’t notice it.

I smiled. Now, Jake knew what it felt like. He smirked. Trixie stared at Damon’s destroyed denims and boots. She was superficial and knew money when she saw it. Trixie stood up straight and poked out her chest.
